Sightseeing

Iconic local market with fun finds and good food. Home to the Pike Place Fish Market where you can watch fish fly as they are tossed about from employee to employee with each sale. Visit Market Spice for teas and spices of all kinds, Chukar Cherries for pacific northwest specialty dried fruits, chocolates and nuts, and peruse the various one-of-a-kind shops selling creations by local artisans. Pike Place Market (known as The Market to locals) is home to the first ever Starbucks and has an array of restaurants and eateries to choose from. Some of my favorites are Piroshky Piroshky, Ellenos Greek Yogurt, Cinnamon Works and Beecher's Handmade Cheese.
