The Manitou incline was built for a cable car to carry materials to build pipelines on Pikes Peak. It is only 1 mile but climbs 2000 vertical feet. The amount of time it takes to hike the trail depends on your own pace. The trail head is at 7 Hydro Street in Manitou Springs 80829. You can park at the Barr Trail parking lot which costs $5 for 24 hours.
