Check out the main beach, Ngarunui or further down towards the harbour mouth is Wainamu, a popular spot for walking the beach, or kite surfing when the wind is up. The sunsets are spectacular from the top of Ngarunui beach.

If you have children (or are a big child at heart) then Te Kopua domain is a wonderful place to swim, bike or skate on the pump track and skate bowl, play in the playground or just relax under the pohutukawa trees and enjoy some fish and chips from Jo’s takeaways.

Visit Bridal Veil Falls – located 20 minutes from Raglan, and just 15 minutes from Three Streams. This beautiful waterfall is worth the trip. It’s an easy stroll to the look-out at the top, or a good thigh buster to the bottom.

Ulos, does amazing authentic Japanese food –The atmosphere is cute, funky and cosy and they have fantastic cocktails. This is our absolute fav place to go in Raglan. Its best to book and check which nights its open.

Mountain Biking

If you’re into mountain biking check out the mountain bike track, Te Ara Kakariki, near Wainamu beach. Head all the way down Riria Kereopa Memorial Drive to the car park at the very end. The track entrance is up the path at the top of the hill.
