The River Shack in Stoke Gabriel is a nice spot for lunch. Great place to go crabbing with the kids. Also a good place to go paddle boarding or kayaking from, there is a place to hire them from there. Take cash for the car park.

Loop walk starting in Dartmouth, get the ferry across to Kingswear and walk up river to Greenway (Greenway House Agatha Christie’s holiday home) then ring the bell down by the river and get a small ferry across to Dittisham where there is a nice pub called the Ferry Boat Inn, after a well deserved pit stop follow the river down back to Dartmouth.
