Take a day trip to ghost ranch and tour some of the vistas that were made famous by Georgia o’Keefe. But remember that she in no way was the first person to recognize the beauty and importance of this incredible land. The first nation people thrived here and have an amazing History in the area. Be sure to Visit some native museums as a reference point first.

If a day trip is possible the Taos Pueblo is worth the drive. Located roughly an hour and a half from the home by way of the world famous scenic drive through the stunning northern New Mexico landscape you’ll find the oldest occupied Pueblo in the parts. We recommend taking the tour with one of the native guides for a very special educational experience.

This wonderful newly rethought vision of a classic Santa Fe secret hideaway spa has all the luxury that you might find in an exclusive retreat center without the pretense… and just minutes away from the home. Treat yourself to a massage or facial and lounge by the natural spring for the afternoon.

This izakaya is the perfect spot to unwind after a day on the slopes, a world class massage at ten thousand waves Japanese spa or simply as an escape from the downtown hustle and bustle. The menu is ever changing with the seasons as is the dining experience with the owners almost obsessive renovations and additions to the space which we delight in with every single visit. A true Santa Fe gem which should not be missed.
