Food scene

For a small town, you wouldn’t expect as much as you get here. The decor is fantastic as is the burgers which are really as good as it gets. One of our favorites regardless of where we are. Definitely get a reservation no matter when you plan on going. Always busy and well worth it.

Excellent small town pizza restaurant. The crust is one of favorites and excellent pizza combinations that make great pies.

Since we gave it a nod in our apartment, we had to recommend a visit. Just down the road, this is one of the oldest working distilleries and only member to National Historic Society.

Easily one of (sorry, scratch that) simply the most recognizable bourbons on the market for decades. Need we say more?

Just down the road from Makers Mark, this craft Distillery is one of our favorites. Stop in for a tour and if your lucky, one of the most colorful individuals you will ever meet will show you around. Ask for Stephen Fante.
