Cena gastronómica

Being in Lisbon you have to try Pastel de Nata the traditional Lisbon cake. There are 2 main places to eat it. One is in Belém, where you have Pasteis de Belém (original recipe). The other is in Chiado and it's called Manteigaria.

Informações sobre a cidade

Also near Lisbon you have Sintra that you can visit. Take the train in Rossio train station. The historical villa is what you want to visit. Go really early, preferably during the week, and choose 2 or 3 things to see. My suggestions are: -Pena Palace - Quinta da Regaleira - Monserrate Palace Don't forget to try the local pastry as well, namely, Travesseiros and Queijadas de Sintra.

Traveler advice

Getting around

Bus, Subway and Train

The Martim Moniz station is the closest to the apartment (Approximately 7 minutes walking) For you to travel by bus, subway, train or boat in Lisbon and the region, you will need to buy a ticket at the train or subway stations. Do not throw this ticket away after using it, it is refillable in case you need it again. You will reload it on the same ticket machines you purchased.
Customs and culture

To ask

Whenever you go somewhere, always ask for the payment method. Some places in Lisbon, usually small places and restaurants, only accept cash.
