Don't miss
Hunter Mountain vs. Windham
In our experience, Windham seems to be the more family friendly and also higher end mountain, and is newer. Surrounding towns included. Both are good in their own ways.
Getting around
Type of Car
During the winter months, we would recommend renting or driving an all-wheel drive car as the roads can be steep and slippery at times. Our home is down a private dirt drive that we get plowed after a few inches of snow.
