On the other side of Calle 11 in front of the MAMU entrance. It is a library with a museum of contemporary art inside that completes the visit of the MAMU. The museum is called Casa Republicana.

Parks & Nature

If you stay more than two days in Bogota we recommend to go to the Jardín Botánico José Celestino Mutis (botanical garden). They have recreated all the ecosystems of Colombia, it is very interesting and it is a very peaceful place to visit. It is a 30 minute taxi ride from the apartment.

You can go to Monserrate by walking, it is a 20 minutes walk. You can take Carrera 3 towards the north, and when you reach Avenida Jimenez just follow the artificial river until you reach the entrance of Monserrate from where the cable car starts. You can walk up to the Monserrate in the morning during the weekend, it takes about 45 minutes from the entrance of Monserrate to the top. You can then go down with the cable car.
