An excellent surf beach. The north end has a small lagoon entry with shallow waters and is the beginning of the Gerringong to Kiama coastal walk. The south end of the beach is patrolled by the SLC during summer close to the point which also has 2 x natural sea water man made rock pools. A walk from Werri point to the North end and back has several beach access options and creates flexibility for families and dog owners . A small coffee shop is located at the SLC on weekends and public holidays.

Werri Beach

Great spot for swimming with small children and or non swimmers. BBQ area, great views and great place to cool off late afternoons early evenings.

Sightseeing/walks
Walkers beach is a nice walk from our front door down the hill and through the golf course (North end public access track). The beach and points either end are local favourites for fishermen. A very steep beach (not recommended for swimming) not patrolled.

A long walk (shorter via bike) for the more adventurous. Planning with enough time allocated is required. The views are spectacular, a roughed (no barriers) walk through a creek is required so be prepared to get wet. Dangerous cliffs no guard rails.
Do not recommend climbing down to the bottom of the falls from the top. Very steep and dangerous.

Great walk with a few distance options, shorter options from the Kiama township which offer great views also. Read up the information and choose your route. It is possible to time your adventure and catch the train back (check south coast line times) to Gerringong if the distance is within your capabilities. Or arrange a drop off car or designated driver.
