This is one of the more affordable places to eat in Malibu. The Italian food is authentic, but there is more than just Italian. The artichoke is a must. We love the salmon, the beet salad and the shrimp appetizer. If you sit outside, you get ocean views of Zuma beach

Eat on the beach on the sand. Best during the day for the views. You can also book a cabana by the ocean. This is the most tropical fun restaurant you'll find in Malibu. But you'll pay for the view. It's worth it! Be sure to take a beach walk. It's private, and one of the most beautiful beaches in Malibu

This restaurant needs reservations far in advance. But sometimes you can call same day and get a table if there was a cancellation. The setting is gorgeous. The food is expensive but so yummy

My favorite hike in Malibu. Easiest way to get there is drive past the Sunset restaurant. You'll see a gate, pay a day parking fee and drive to the end. There are trails up to the top of Pt Dume from there. You'll see rock climbers and surfers. And often times they film movies here. The beach behind the Pt is where Planet of the Apes was filmed.

At the very top of Corral Canyon Rd., it dead ends. Stay left on the dirt road and park. Hike the trail to the right. It's gorgeous - views of the valley and the ocean. If you hike to the left, you can take your dog
