Fort De Soto is consistently rated one of the best beaches in the world. Yet it is very secluded and relatively unknown to most tourists. Plus it costs like $5 dollars to get in and there's plenty of parking. You can't beat it.

Food Scene
Don't be fooled by thinking this is just a Thai Restaurant. Well it is, and it's pretty decent too. But the hidden gem in this place is the Sushi bar. Yes, Sushi. Zack the sushi chef is absolutely fantastic. Try a tampa roll.
