Food scene
There are three Aromi cafes in Cambridge, one is a stone throw away from the house and the other two are near the Market Square (10 minute walk). Aromi has some of the best food Cambridge has to offer, with Sicilian flatbreads, tiramisu, gelato and pizzas. The coffee (especially the hazelnut or pistachio lattes) are the best in Cambridge.
We like to take our food to go and sit on one of the local commons.

An absolutely stunning village on the outskirts of Cambridge.
Perfects destination when hiring a private punting boat from the city centre or a bicycle. The punting company that covers this area of the river is Scudamores.
Perfect for long walks along the river and through the meadows.
Grantchester is said to have the world's highest concentration of Nobel Prize winners, most of these presumably being current or retired academics from the nearby University of Cambridge. This is also where the TV show Grantchester was filmed.
The Red Lion restaurant is a great place to stop for a meal when you visit, though you may need to book in advance.
