It's a bit of a drive but we'll worth it! Friendly, family run restaurant with great food. Its about 45 minutes away but takes you up and over the rim where you can stop at the overlook and visit the lavender store or alien wood store on your way back

Traveler advice
What to pack
Sunscreen and a Jacket
Summertime in the mountains mean warm, sunny days and cool nights. We're at 6200 feet and the UV's can be strong during the day, but temperatures still drop to high 30's at night in May
Book before you go
Kayak Rentals
We have 2 kayaks with paddles and vests that we rent for $40/day each and we'd be happy to drop them off and pick them up for you at either Willow Springs or Woods Canyon Lakes (Willow Springs is our favorite)
