The Fish Shed is great for fish and chips Birdland Park and Gardens popular with kids, as is the Model Village. Nice place to go and paddle in the stream and have an ice cream but it can get very busy.

Nice historic town with great walking, the Cotswold Way runs through and there is the Winchcombe Way. Sudley Castle is a good place to visit with nice gardens. For kids, there is Sudley Castle and the Gloucestershire Warwickshire steam railway is lots of fun. Restaurant 5 is a Michelin Star restaurant in the centre of Winchcombe.

Beautiful arboretum to walk around, with a small restaurant and garden centre. It’s good to combine this with a trip to Moreton in Marsh.

So much to do in Oxford! Look around the colleges, take in Harry Potter sights, go to the excellent Pitts River, Oxford University Museum of National History and Ashmolean museums. Walk along the river and go punting. Car parks in centre but you might be best to Park and Ride or Swanbrook bus from nearby Andoversford (5 mins drive from us). Definitely worth the effort!
