Yummy comfort food!!! On the weekends there is also live local music. This is our closest restaurant and is also one of our favorites! Very casual and easy going atmosphere.
Be sure to try the Beseme Calientes. Tammy’s favorite meal is the chicken fried pork chops with homemade mashed potatoes and cream gravy. Dennis likes the avocado chicken with asparagus!

Very popular breakfast spot on Main St. Their griddle cakes are the size of a dinner plate!!! Super atmosphere and the food is tasty! They also have a great selection of homemade desserts.

If you like fried catfish, you gotta’ give Paw Paw’s a try. It’s southern style done right! Their fried shrimp are huge and really good too. Be sure to get an order of their homemade chips and green chili dip- you can thank me later! The Texican burger is a great alternative for anyone who doesn’t like fish.

Perfect place to pick up to go breakfast or lunch. This is a hidden gem, and it was quite a delight when we stopped in for the first time. Home made tortillas make their breakfast tacos! For lunch, you won’t be disappointed with their street tacos- so good! If it is a Saturday, pick up a rack of ribs to bring back to the cottage for dinner. Yoli’s husband does a spectacular job. This food is made with love and it shows in every bite! Open for breakfast and lunch.
