The Suncoast Trail is 42 miles long and passes through a mix of suburban, agricultural and natural areas. Along the trail you will find rest areas and signs to explain the trail's historical significance and local ecology. One of the most impressive features is the Jay B. Starkey Wilderness Preserve, with beautiful waterways and scenic views of natural areas. From home, take Dale Mabry Highway north 1 mile to Lutz Lake Fern Road. Turn left and continue for about 3 miles until you pass under the Suncoast Parkway. Trailhead is on the right.
