What to pack
Dry County
Blue Ridge is located in Fannin county, which is a dry county. What this means is no liquor sales in the county. Only beer and wine at some groceries.
Customs and culture
Ladybugs are Federally Protected
You may have noticed the ladybugs... literally everywhere. They were introduced by the forestry service to help with pine beetles. Pine beetle aphids were killing our trees. Ladybugs were the answer.... now they've taken over.
