There’s no family business like the wine business in Trebinje. People have a long tradition of winemaking in the region of Herzegovina. After the last war, the commercialization of wine in this area has skyrocketed thanks to the area’s natural preconditions for winemaking, such as the specificity of Herzegovinian karst soil and the sun. Today in Trebinje, there are about 20 registered commercial wineries.

So very relaxing. You can take a nice walk along the promenade and stop for a drink or snack. You can sunbath along the shoreline to take a boat to Cavtat or Dubrovnik from here. There are a few restaurants on the promenade and there is available to rent kayaks or jet skis. If you are staying at the Sheraton it is right in front of the Sheraton pool. Locals visit this beach, especially on Sunday. Very family-friendly.
