Drakes Island Beach is at the end of Drakes Island Road, which is where my bunkhouse is situated. Walking or biking down to the beach are both good options. There are also two parking lots, but you'll need to be there early to get a space. There is a fee to park in either lot on Drakes Island. Because there is limited parking on Drakes Island, the amount of people who visit it is controlled. It is a beautiful beach with a jetty.

Upscale dining without the upscale feel. Small menu full of delicious offerings. Small indoor dining area and outside seating and bar available. Live music often times on the weekends.

Everyone’s go to for a steak dinner. Large space, many times with crowds waiting, but solid delicious food.
