The grounds of the hotel are beautiful. Plan to enjoy a meal at one of several of their restaurants or a drink on the patio at Bucky's around sunset. While you are there, play a game of cornhole, ladder ball, or croquet on their bayside lawn. Enjoy a stroll along the bay or amongst their beautiful old live oaks trees dripping with Spanish moss. Great spot for pictures.

Traveler advice

Customs and culture

Mardi Gras on the Eastern Shore

If you are visiting during the Mardi Gras season, be sure to catch a parade on the Eastern Shore. The Krewe of Mullet Mates actually parades in front of our home. There are several parades in Fairhope and in Daphne and parades almost every night for 3 weeks in Mobile. Did you know Mardi Gras originated in Mobile?
Don't miss

Fairhope Arts and Crafts

One of the busiest weekends in Fairhope is the mid-March weekend of the Fairhope Arts and Crafts Festival. It is a great time to see and purchase 100s of artists' work.
