Visiting from out of state? Idahoans appreciate cautious drivers who are generous with letting others pull in front of them, no crazy lane changes etc. yes, many highways through town like Hwy 55 have a decently high speed limit so don’t feel like you can’t be quick- just be smart and not as cut-throat as the busy streets of California ;)
What to pack
Weather can be unpredictable
In these winter days, the forecast can look totally intense and then end up being fairly mellow. Pack your warmer coat and snow boots if it looks like snow is possible but also be prepared with a few lighter layers in case it’s really just the sun who comes to visit!
