Galleries display changing exhibitions and Shenandoah Valley decorative arts, 18th– and 19th-century European and American fine art, and a fascinating collection of miniature houses and rooms. The landscape surrounding the house includes rose, statue, vegetable, Asian, and perennial gardens. Inside the house, explore the stories of those who lived in Glen Burnie from 1796 to 1992. Light snacks and refreshments are available in the Museum Store. Picnics welcome.

Also enjoy the Car and Carriage Caravan Museum featuring a 1892 Mercedes-Benz, one of the oldest cars in the country still in operating condition. Visit the Luray Valley Museum where you can step back in time and discover the rich history of the Shenandoah Valley. The Garden Maze has over 1,500 Dark American Arborvitae that are eight feet tall and four feet wide creating a 1/2 mile pathway. It’s the one time you’ll enjoy getting lost.
