The Sperryville entrance is closest and is on the way to Luray Caverns. However, the park can be accessed from both places and you can take Skyline Drive from one to the other!

Enjoy the finer parts of Virginia hunt country. Gorgeous scenery on the way, swanky shops, great food, fine beverages, and great shopping for horse-lovers. The Red Horse Tavern is my favorite restaurant, or the Salamander Resort if looking for fancy (can pricey, but great lunch option). Middleburg is one of my favorite places to walk around on a nice day! About a 40 min drive northwest.

Avoid driving during rush hour on weekdays, the metro is a good travelling option as parking can be scarce in the city. Great for those tourists that have never been to the area! A little over an hour drive northeast on a good day :)
