Clayton is another great downtown area maybe 30 minutes away. If you drive into Clayton be sure to check out Minnehana waterfalls, and Black Rock Mountain State Park. Dillard has lots of antique malls and be sure to eat at the Dillard House or Cupboard Café for good southern food.

Outdoorsy things to do

Brasstown Bald is the highest point in Georgia. The view is amazing! There is a small museum at the top. Due to virus, the bus from the parking lot is not running and you have to walk up a paved path. I believe they have a shuttle for handicapped or people unable to walk up. A must see if you are in the area!
