A brew pub that is one of our "go-to" places. The food is delicious and the beer choices are plentiful. They also serve wine. There is inside dining, although there aren't a lot of tables, and plenty of outside dining. Live music most weekends. Plenty of parking.

One of the nearby towns is Hayesville. They have a couple of good brew pubs in town and Nocturnal is one of them. Opened in 2019, it has a modern farmhouse kind of feel and the food was not the typical bar food, so it is good!

Sightseeing

The road, while very curvy, leading to Bell Mountain is paved and a "must-see" while in Hiawassee. The city added steps and viewing platforms to the tippy top of the mountain and the view is terrific.

The highest point in Georgia and you can see four states on a clear day. Definitely something you should do. Either ride the shuttle the last bit to the top from the parking lot, or hike one of several trails to get to the top. Lovely place!
