Wasn’t sure how to categorise this. Food and drink is good but the location is even better. Kids can crab from the pontoon whilst adults enjoy a drink and take in the views. Beyond Truro so one to do if you venture that way.

This is our favorite of the Rick Stein empire. Small menu, intimate space so doesn't feel over commercial. Not cheap but not as expensive as some of the others.

Parks & Nature

10 minute drive. A good start point for the Camel trail. The cycle to Wadebridge is a 12mile round trip and this is the prettiest section of the trail. Hint - start early to miss the crowds. Be careful and be aware that some people haven't got a clue how to cycle.

We have taken a day trip to the Isles of Scilly. You leave from Penzance and it is an early start for the flight and then we took the boat back. We were lucky with the weather and it was a glorious day. Please do not however that the flights are weather dependant and I do know people who have driven to Penzance only to discover that their flight has been cancelled. https://www.cornwalls.co.uk/isles-of-scilly/transport.htm
