Agatha Christie's summer home - now run any the National Trust. Glorious gardens and a fascinating house - was also used by the Americans during World War II and has a wonderful mural in the sitting room.

Take a day trip to Salcombe to Overbeck's museum and also explore the coastal path to Bolt Head and beyond. Hidden coves and beaches to swim from, as well as, exploring the pretty town of Salcombe for those who like shopping! Note the later does get busy in Summer.
