For a classier night with good people watching, head downtown to The Nines Hotel where you will find Departure. The food is great, but alot of people come here only for the cocktails and the views when its a clear night.

Sisters coffee shop is only 4 blocks from my place and has some of the best coffee in Portland. It feels like a lodge when you walk in: they usually have a fire roaring and great music playing in the background. Lots of people work here during the day.
