Food Scene

It's close, has great ambiance and one of the more sophisticated restaurants in terms of the menu! 1 block away, and the food is amazing. I recommend the Braised Beef Shoulder.

Good food is so close! Peaches is only a block away, and the Fried Chicken is to die for! Ask for the spicy if you can handle the spice. It's a small space, and there's usually a wait, but it's well worth it.

Arguably the best food in the neighborhood, but with a long wait. It's tasty Caribbean food, in a small non-flashy location. It's cozy in the winter, and a great place for a summer beer in the outside seating area.

PIZZA! Saraghina is the place to go for tasty, great, pizza. It's one of our personal favorites. Catch a taxi, or Uber. It's not far, but it's more than a 20min walk.

Drinks & Nightlife

This is our neighborhood bar, and disco with reggae vibes on the weekend. A great understated mixed crowd with casual dress, and friendly faces. There's never a hassle at the door, and everyone is welcome. Come to drink, talk with friends, or sweat it out on the dance floor.

Every neighborhood has a "neighborhood place," and this is yours. Brew is where Bed-Stuy gathers for an evening beer, or wine nightly. It's casual, and very relaxed. There's a DJ on Friday and Saturday, and it's always a mixed crowd.

Think Studio 54 in the 1970's... Brooklyn's House of Yes has quickly become one of NY's most AMAZING and fun dance parties. Anything can happen here, and it's just what you would expect from a night in New York City. IT GETS WILD! Buy your tickets online, and in advance if you plan to go. http://houseofyes.org/

Looking for home goods? Something unique and personal from Brooklyn to take back home? This is your shopping destination. It's sandwiched between two great restaurants, so after dinner, stop and go shopping.
