With Azumino and Ikeda-cho as your base in spring, you can enjoy one of Japan's most spectacular mountain views. In Kamikochi, which opens in mid-April, you can see the view of the snowy Hotaka mountain range and the clear Azusa River. The Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, which opened on April 15th, features the "Snow Grand Valley Walk", where you can walk on a wall of snow over ten meters high. During the day, you can explore the overwhelming nature, and at night, you can return to the quiet of the countryside. Time to warm up in the sauna, have a BBQ with friends, and look up at the stars. You can get to Toyama Station in 15 minutes to the north and Takayama in 90 minutes to the south on National Route 41. Toyama Airport is 3 km from the house and can be reached in 5 minutes.
