Nick and Yosi were wonderful hosts and extremely hospitable and communicative. They exceeded all of our needs and provided thoughtful and detailed communication on how to get to their flat from the airport using public transport. We especially appreciated Yosi making us coffee upon arrival and that the room was clean and well cared for and the bathroom was freshly cleaned when we arrived. Great location two stops from Marienplatz by U-bahn. Would recommend staying with Nick and Yosi!

The transportation is very convenient and the house is beautiful. There are no washing machines. There are many supermarkets and restaurants to choose from. There are heating and capsule coffee machines in the room. We spent a few comfortable days.

As a first-timer in Munich, I was not sure what to expect and, I must say, I was rather dazzled by this charming flat. From the moment I booked, the hosts were especially communicative and did everything to prepare me for arrival. They were more than accommodating of a slightly early check-in and personally greeted me and showed me to the room. The flat itself was a delightful surprise. Coming from New York, I have my own ideas of what a studio apartment is and, by comparison, this place was very spacious. There is plenty of natural light streaming through the windows and a well-appointed kitchen with complimentary Nespresso machine, fridge and utensils that a traveler might need. The location cannot (I repeat, CANNOT) be beat. You are mere spitting distance from the Viktualenmartk, a fantastic outdoor market with food, drink and any manner of vendor one can imagine. Just past the market is the Marienplatz, the central square featuring the wondrous town hall and glockenspiel, not to mention the heart of the city's shopping and dining. Mere steps from the front door is the Isartor S-train station, which will whisk you to any part of the city within minutes. But, truly, so much was accessible by foot due to the prime location. I cannot sing its praises enough. This place is a gem.

Great location, clean place and great communication!

This place is great, looks like the pictures I would say, which is not always the case. Smooth checkin and checkout. Plenty of coffee and tea which is always nice. On ground floor with some refurbishing of the patio going on as an FYI but nothing went on when I was there so no disturbing sounds. Would come back!

Stefan is a good host, the house is very cozy and welcoming and in a strategic position. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great location from the train station. Stefan was flexible with the check in hours and kept a good communication. The place is great and you'd be really getting the most for the value. Would definitely recommend. The only thing that could be a little difficult is the amount of stairs to the apartment. It's on a top floor of a four story building, just keep that in mind when carrying luggage and everything will be fine.

Everything was wonderful: the communication was great, the room is large and very cozy, Stefan and Linh thought of everything (from city and public transport plans in different languages to a hair dryer to welcome gummy bears) to the S-Bahn it is a stone's throw - thanks for everything!

This location really is amazing! You are within walking distance to an amazing open park and everything is easy to get to! We chose to walk to most destinations simply because we love to see the buildings, but there is public transportation as well if you prefer. Munich is a beautiful city and this boarding house had everything we needed. Just the right amount of space for two female travelers. When we come back to Munich we hope to stay here again!

Great location near the fairgrounds for Oktoberfest and the Tollwood Christmas Market. Located on a side street so street noise was minimal. Very easy self-check-in. The apartment was extremely clean and the area felt very safe. There was also a very helpful guestbook with travel suggestions and services.

Place was perfect! So close to train station to get into city and it had everything you needed and more! It was a nice modern apartment with space to actually move around in as well! One of the best Bnbs I have stayed in, thanks Nicolas!

It is the best! Super comfortable apartment, very well equipped ... it's just like home. We feel that Michael thought of his hosts with great empathy. Delicate touches awaited me in the fridge 5 minutes from the metro which takes just 10 minutes in the center. In the neighborhood a supermarket 3 minutes very well stocked closed at 8 p.m. The apartment is completely quiet as it overlooks the courtyard. Anyway I ABSOLUTELY recommend to visit Munich

We had two nights in munich and although we probably should have stayed a bit closer to the center it is sooo easy to get in and out on public transport! The apartment itself is soooo clean and has everything you need for a short stay. Highly recommend

Cordula’s place is an attic apartment that is comfortable and has all of the amenities that you would need to have a great stay in Munich. Cordula is a great host, she provides guidance getting to her home from the airport or train station. She also gave us good advice on things to do in Munich. The neighborhood is quiet, and located close to the Tram station. We were within a short walk to reasonably priced restaurants and a natural food store as well. We had a wonderful time in Munich, and staying with Cordula added to the experience.

Great apartment, great location and fantastic host! Cordula always responded promptly to questions and was very helpful with local tips and was all round friendly! Easy to get to location by train and tram straight from the airport.

This is a great place to stay. It is off the beaten path of downtown Munich but in a very quiet, clean and safe location. Cordula welcomed us with coffee and bier and allowed us to store our luggage on a morning arrival before the place was ready to check-in, very helpful. We do not speak Deutsche nor have we ever been to Germany. Cordula set us up with a diagram of the public transit which gave us a huge head start to getting around Munich, it is very easy on the 15 or 25 line by the house to get to a S Bahn or U Bahn subway that will take you anywhere in Munich. Buy passes online, individual or group passes for multiple days - super simple. It is the attic space and it does require climbing stairs, creaky old wood german 1930's stairs which is cool. I don't think we bothered Cordula and her husband arriving late in the eve/night climbing the creaky stairs - if we did we never heard about it! Watch your head on the old wood beams. By day two you will be ducking automatically! Kitchen was functional but honestly we ate out almost every meal - mainly because the food is so good! ( We were there for Christmas week and the Christmas markets are unbelievable!) Overall, quality stay, quality host for sure - made our Munchen trip the best it could be.

Staying here was great! Easily accessible by public transport (via bus or a short walk to nearest metro station) and a good location just outside of the main city centre. The apartment itself was very clean and all staff we interacted with were very pleasant and helpful during our stay.

The house is easily accessible by bus (220 and 217, bus stop a few meter away), WiFi is fast, and you can find anything you need to have a normal life in there! The neighborhood is quiet and clean and there's plenty of room to park.

From Unterhaching you are fast by bus and train in the city center - it is very quiet and located in the countryside. Marc is a very nice host and really worked hard! Great!

Marc is an outstandingly friendly host. Although I had to change my arrival time, he was not only there late in the evening to receive me, but also offered good and substantial talks for tea. If you actually pretend to work in the room, and then reject it in good conscience, because you like to chat with this man, that is a great compliment. In the small house live four fascinatingly quiet students. The fifth room is Airbnb, a spacious room with a good sofa bed, huge desk, TV, wireless stereo for smartphone connection, books on the shelf and garden view. Shared bathrooms with the students, who are not only quiet, but also clean. All around a quiet residential area with a supermarket close by, with a bakery and nearby nature, for walking, hiking, jogging or cycling. Connection to Munich-City uncomplicated. A great insider tip with an exceptionally sympathetic host.

We got more than we'd expected. Helga is a wonderful host. A comfortable bed, everything clean and cosy. Quiet surroundings for a good sleep but at the same time close to the Underground, a good breakfast as well. I felt as if being at my frind's place.

Ms. Helga's place was perfect for me. A private room with the bathroom right by the bedroom door. The pull out sofa bed was very comfortable. A nice shower. An awesome breakfast. Ms. Helga picked me up from the Neuperlach Sued Train station that is about an 8 minute walk from her main level Apartment and she also walked with me back to the station. Can't get better then that and thought that was so very kind of her. There is a lovely little patio with a private garden view. I do recommend her apartment as it's smoke and pet free as well. Helga is such a lovely lady whom to was a pleasure talking about many topics. Helga treated us very well and next time, when we will go to visit Munich, we definetly will stay at Helga's apartment again. The locality is very good, 15-20 min by Ubahn U5 to the city centre and in the area is easy to find a free parking (area without requirement of the green eco-label). Room and everything was cozy, nice and clean. We recommend this accommodation.

Joram and Melisa are extremely friendly and caring. They did everything they could to make me feel comfortable and at home. The room is small but it is cozy and comfortable. The location is not the best in Munich, but it is good enough. The only disadvantage is that you have to take a bus to get to the metro stations (U-Bahn and S-Bahn) but that is not a big problem because the bus stop is right in front of the building and the buses run very often. Another disadvantage is that it not within walking distance to a supermarket, but again the bus takes you there in a few minutes. There is also a large mall (PEP) a few minutes away by bus, where you can find just about anything you want. I recommend Joram's place!!

The apartment corresponds exactly to the photos. I was pleasantly surprised both by the underground car park, which keeps the car wonderfully cool on warm days, as well as by the close connection to public transport (you can reach the city center in a few minutes). The contact was very friendly. Very helpful. Conclusion: very clear recommendation.

Host was extremely helpful

The apartment is in a quiet residential area. You can walk to the bakery or discounter in 10 minutes. It takes about 10 minutes to the nearby forest. Depending on the traffic, you can be in the city center of Munich in about 20 minutes. The key was handed over to me personally and the apartment was shown. This is modern and comfortably furnished. I felt very welcome! I will be happy to come back!

Great place for an overnight stay en route to your holiday destination. Joachim keeps good contact and is very flexible when making appointments.

Great hospitality

The visit to Joachim was uncomplicated and we were greeted warmly. The rooms are simple but practical. You have to share the bathroom and kitchen with Joachim. We didn't try it as we were only one night. But it won't be the problem. A covered terrace is available for the warm season, which can make your stay a pleasant one to end the day after an excursion or a visit to the city.

Angelika is a very kind host. The flat is very clean and located in a safe area at 25 minutes walk from the city center, 5 minutes away from the U-bahn, just in front of a bus stop. It was perfect to sightsee Munich for 1 week :).

I love, love, love this room! Especially the bed! For my work, I had to stay in Munich for a week and am super happy that I ended up with Angelika! The apartment is easy to reach by train, there are shopping opportunities and in the room I just felt great. Angelika is super nice and I really got on very well with her! I hope to be able to join her again on my next working week in Munich! Can only really recommend it!

Great place, ground floor with sitting room, kitchen, toilet and shower all for yourself. In the village within walking distance are a few reasonable restaurants. You don't need more for a transit.

The apartment was in great shape, the check-in and check-out was extremely easy and the parking lot situation was great too! Munich is easy to reach by S-Bahn. We had a nice weekend and our baby also felt very comfortable in the apartment.
