  • Michelle and Robin's place was so cozy! Really great to have your own little backyard with big, beautiful trees and a little porch to relax on. The bathtub with a large sun roof was great to relax in as well. Overall great stay!

  • What a lovely space. I also appreciated that the windows were open when we arrived. Small details that help us to see they're taking precautions with cleanliness and protecting immunity.

  • Truly remarkable and amazing, a slice of heaven or in this case a lemon bar of paradise. Really appreciated our time, feeling refreshed, relaxed and quite happy. Much needed and grateful to have had the opportunity to share such a sanctuary. Thank you for your hospitality!

  • This is a cozy wooded cabin space. Many extra items made the stay like being at home. The wine and lemon bars, coffee and cream, and many extra amenities made our stay even nicer.

  • Very cute little place, close to lots in Sebastopol. And the bed was amazing! The electric blanket and electric fireplace were very nice on a cold and windy night.

  • The place was amazing. I only put a bit better than expected because it was so highly rated I expected it to be pretty nice and it didn’t disappoint at all. We had a great time and really enjoyed the bottle of wine that we were met w as well as the lemon tarts. I can’t say enough about this place! Thanks again for the hospitality! I recommend this place to anyone looking in the area!

  • Lemon Moon cottage is such a welcoming serene place to stay ! There are so many thoughtful details to make it magical . The bed was comfy, the heater was great when it got cold in the evenings, the deck was the perfect place to see the stars come out at night and also perfect to practice yoga, drink tea and see the sunrise . Close enough to easily get to town and far enough away to fall asleep to crickets and frogs.

  • We had a great time in Sebastopol and enjoyed the cozy cottage. Hosts were super sweet and left a couple surprises for us which made our visit memorable. It was really great waking up and having a cup of coffee overlooking the creek. Perfect location to explore the area!

Your own wine country cottage with its own bath and kitchen located on a small farm. The cottage is private, but we are available to answer any questions. The cottage has it's own yard and garden. The parking is right outside the cottage with no trails or steps to get to it. The cottage overlooks the farm and a eucalyptus grove. You may see our mini-horse "Comanche", chickens, a sheep or two meander by on the other side of the fence. The cottage is fully insulated for even temperature. It is bright, private, modern rustic with open ceilings and a Vermont Castings vented gas fireplace. A flick of the switch and "voila" a beautiful, warm fire in the hearth. The bathroom has a glass shower, no tub. There is a queen-sized bed with the most comfortable mattress imaginable. There is also full-size organic wool and cotton coil futon sofa that sleeps two. We provide only the highest quality cotton towels and bedding. The guests really appreciate it. And, you can cook there. We have 2 burner stove and small convection oven, lots of pots, pans, etc. We'd be happy to share our farm fresh eggs with you. They're so much better than store bought! The guests have exclusive use of a private yard, with seating. There is a small garden attached where they can help themselves to strawberries, greens for a salad or whatever else may be in season. While we have dogs, cats and farm animals on the property no animals are allowed in the cottage. Guests may not bring pets either. This ensures the cottage stays clean and allergen-free. We interact with guests as much as necessary for the guests. We assume people like their privacy, but we also love to meet people and show them around the farm if interested. We tend to let the guests determine how much interaction they want with us. We know the area well and are available to answer any questions. We also love to share our farm fresh goodies, like fresh eggs, veggies or fruit from our trees. Our farm is located in the Twin Hills area of Sebastopol. This desirable area is known for its rolling hills, apple orchards, Christmas Tree Farms, and vineyards. There are many beautiful walks to take right out the door. While you may feel far away from it all, downtown is less than a ten minute drive, and door to door we are twenty minutes to the beaches of Bodega Bay taking beautiful back roads right from our neighborhood. There are three main wine tasting routes nearby. For chardonnays and pinot noirs you can stay right in our appellation, the Russian River Valley, and Olivet Road to River Rd. Healdsburg is Dry Creek and Alexander Valley for merlots, zinfandels and cabernet sauvignon. All of these and more are nearby. Right in Sebastopol there is Iron Horse Vineyards, Lynmar, Balletto, Russian River Vineyards, Dutton Family Wines and many more. You will need a car to get around as there is no public transportation in our rural neighborhood. There is such a variety of things to do in our area. Sebastopol is famous for its award winning wineries, restaurants and antique shops. It also has an artsy bohemian feel, and many are dedicated to the slow food movement. Neighbors regularly trade their bounties with each other, such as milk, honey, eggs and veggies. There is also the beaches and cliffs of Bodega Bay (we provide beach chairs, towels, cooler, etc. upon request), and great swimming and picnicking at the Russian River. You can hike through beautiful redwoods at Armstrong Woods. And of course visit countless wineries and gourmet restaurants. We can fill you in on our favorite spots.

  • Cosy, clean and very well equipped little cottage. Easy access to downtown Sebastopol but far enough away to enjoy the peaceful nature of the neighborhood and nighttime sky full of stars. Very comfortable bed too. Mary has been very responsive during our stay. We look forward to coming back.

    Yasmin2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Mary's cottage is idyllic. My partner and I came up for a quiet romantic getaway from our home in the bay. The cottage is perfect sized for 2. We enjoyed lazy afternoons between outings playing board games at the table and watching the stars at night on the swing set. The farm animals nearby were utterly charming and never woke us and check-in and out we're seemless. Mary's recommendations were comprehensive. This is a great little place if you want to explore Sebastopol and the Sonoma coast. Would love to stay again!

    Dana2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Mary & Bruce had been wonderful & gracious hosts on their beautiful property. They even provided us with farm fresh eggs that tasted absolutely delicious. Would definitely stay again.

  • Perfect little cottage for our weekend in Sebastopol.

    Emily2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • I loved my relaxing stay at Mary’s cottage. The space was quiet and squeaky clean. The bed; sheets, and comforter were so soft and comfortable, it was a chilly day but the gas fireplace kept it plenty warm. The cottage is beautifully decorated throughout. We especially liked the tall peaked ceiling with barn lantern.

Spacious private guest house with full kitchen with view 5 minutes from town. Until the shelter in place order that ends May 3rd is over, the cottage is available only for medical professionals or work supporting essential businesses or services (can be non-County residents), as housing needing for county residents to ensure adequate social distancing such as to live separately from at-risk family members or roommates, to self-quarantine. Cleaned according to strict CDC guidelines.
High vaulted ceilings and the expansive views create a wonderful feeling of openness. At 725 square feet, the cottage is larger than the other guest houses available in this area. It's decorated and supplied with lots of thoughtful touches of style and luxury to enhance your visit. There is a queen size bed with a super comfortable mattress that many of my guests comment positively about plus a couch that folds into a very comfy full size mattress, comfortably fitting 1 and possibly 2 adults or 2 children. There is a dinning table, sink and counters, new high quality stainless steel fridge and gas range, microwave oven, toaster oven, and everything you need to enjoy food from local grocery stores and restaurants. You'll also find a desk, with super comfy desk chair and desk lamp. It's a nice spot to work since you can see the lovely view of the gardens and mountains out the front windows from the desk. There is a new 50 inch Smart 4K flat screen TV with many free channels, plus you can login to your Netflix, Hulu, HBO Go, Showtime, CBS All Access or any other streaming TV site account. When you arrive you will find fresh cut flowers, organic orange juice and some of my fresh baked banana bread waiting for you.
Location Near Town The cottage is just 5 minutes to the town of Sebastopol that has many great restaurants and shops.  It includes the Barlow Food, Art & Wine district that has places to eat, wine tasting shops and taprooms.  We are 25 minutes to the coast and the town of Bodega Bay and many different beaches and state parks along the coast.  We are 40 minutes from the popular Russian River resort area with river beaches, towns and state parks like the Armstrong Redwood State Park. It's about 15 minutes from Santa Rosa, the city center of Sonoma County wine country.  We are 35 minutes from the wine country town of Healdsburg with some of the best restaurants in Sonoma County and many wine tasting shops and stores around its town square park and downtown district.  It's 30 minutes to the beautiful Valley of the Moon area near the town of Kenwood with lots of top wineries.  About 10 minutes farther is the Sonoma Valley area with wineries and the lovely town of Sonoma with its historic town plaza featuring many tasting rooms, shops and restaurants.  Napa Valley including the town of Napa is a 45 minute drive. It's a 40 minute drive to Point Reyes National Monument one of my favorite places to hike and explore the beaches. The immediate neighborhood is very peaceful and semi-rural. It is a favorite with residents for walking and biking. There is a sheep ranch down the street with charming long-horn sheep and other properties in my area have everything from goats, pigs, horses and even a couple donkeys (my favorite). There are some properties with vineyards as well which reminds you that you are in the wine country.
  • Steve's cottage is a treat. My fiancée and I stayed here in March of 2020, just as California battened down the hatches against Covid-19. Despite that, we were able to explore natural parks, the Armstrong Redwoods and Bodega Bay, shop for local wine, and relax in the secluded oasis that is this cottage. We could soak in the hot tub, cook dinner in the kitchen, and then binge watch our favorite TV, all in the comfort of Steve's cottage. Steve is an excellent host, and his place should be visited, global pandemic or not.

  • Came for a trip to wine country with a friend - great hot tub, beautiful views, kitchen perfect for breakfast & coffee in the morning to get the day started! Bed was very comfortable and Steve was great with answering questions and gave us great local tips for wineries and restaurants. Would absolutely recommend!

Located in the quiet and safe residential neighborhood of Graton. Graton is a small town filled with artists and environmentally minded people. We have very friendly neighbors. Some of our immediate neighbors are: metal sculpture artist, florist, pottery artist, textile artist and painter, photographer, animal activist, jewelry maker, montessori teacher, butterfly cultivator, art gallery manager, solar power business owner, shaman, backyard farmers and homesteaders, well you get the idea:)  Please note that the town of Graton is located in a rural setting, but the cottage itself is in a residential neighborhood with neighbors close by. Most of the time the neighborhood is very quiet and we live on a dead end street, but occasionally a neighbor may have a gathering during the day (extremely rare), or someone may be doing some construction or repair work on their house, kids may be playing, or someone may be doing landscaping, etc. In other words, there are direct close neighbors so if you are looking for a remote rural property that is silent with no neighbors this is not it.  Please be aware that we live in a rural area. You may hear crickets or even frogs at night. You may see squirrels jumping in trees next to the house. You may see wild turkeys, quail, deer, bats, hawks, or even an owl here and there either down on the nature trail or just walking down the street. You may see a beautiful red dragonfly drinking from the pool, ladybugs or even a spider or hummingbird on occasion in the backyard. In the spring, summer, or fall you may see some paper wasps (not aggressive unless they are attacked) or bees here and there on plants or flying around in the backyard and in the surrounding neighborhood. Leave them alone and they will leave you alone, we have never been stung the whole time we have lived here and a guest has never been stung either. If you are allergic though, you should stay elsewhere to be safe. We regularly check for paper wasp nests in the summer and get rid of them Immediately but if you are in this west county area you may still see some flying around here and there outside in the summer. They are a part of the natural environment here and serve a purpose, everyone we know in the area has some on their property and we have to learn to coexist with them to some extent in this natural environment. We hardly even notice them anymore, although we do go to great lengths to do everything we can to control them on our property but obviously we can never be totally in control of nature. You may see fake paper mache nests as a wasp deterrent or you may smell some slight peppermint or clove oil in an essential oil diffuser outside as a deterrent as well. If you are someone that needs a 100% controlled environment without any of these "nature" elements, then please find a different property that is more suitable to your needs. Also, please remember to look up and enjoy the stars at night, they are bigger and brighter here! The cottage is located in the heart of it all. Countless wineries / vineyards in the area to go wine tasting. Five minute walk to downtown Graton restaurants such as The Underwood, and Willowood. Five minute walk to the fabulous Bowman Cellars Wine Tasting Room which is three blocks away. Red Car and Dutton and many other great wineries are a quick five minute drive from the cottage. Five minute drive to the Barlow and the town of Sebastopol. Five minutes to Forestville. Ten minutes to Occidental.  Fifteen minute drive to Guerneville. Ten minutes to Russian River. 20 minute drive to the beach (Bodega Bay) 25 minutes to Healdsburg (take the back way, very pretty drive).
  • What a find! From the moment we walked in, until the time we left, we felt like we were on vacation at a little private oasis. We loved the open feeling, fresh white decor and greenery throughout the home and back yard. It felt so private and yet we were able to walk to dinner, and get to a trailhead in no time. We cannot wait to come back!

    Lori2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • We've stayed in AirBnBs all over the world, and this is one of the most incredibly-styled and appropriately-detailed spaces we've ever stayed in. It was the perfect place to get away and rejuvenate.

    Tanner2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful home, great communication, thoughtful touches! Loved everything about our stay!

    Jack2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • WOW!! I’m pretty sure no other Airbnb will ever top this one. My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at the Farmhouse Oasis for four nights and they were 4 of the best with amazing hosts. That attention to detail and all the extra special touches are what makes this B&B the best. It truly felt like we were staying at a luxury resort with the welcome gift, pillow bar, bathrobes, the essential oils and sprays, the tub and soaking salts, the coffee bar, etc etc. it was an experience that we will never forget and I can’t wait to return. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!

    Amy2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • What an amazing space. We wanted a quiet get away and this was just perfect. Close to several restaurants and wineries but not too busy. Just loved all the details and the private backyard and pool was better than I expected. Worth every penny. I would definitely stay here again.

    Lance2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Wow, what a special special place! From the minute you walk in you immediately feel the clean and relaxing energy. I absolutely loved the furnishing and design. There are so many amenities you can’t find at most Airbnb’s. We had our dog Milo with us and he felt right at home. We are so grateful to Trinette and Chris for all of their recommendations and communicating quickly throughout our stay. We will definitely be back hopefully sooner than later.

    Brandi2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • Farmhouse Oasis From the minute you walk in the front door be prepared to be treated to a tranquil and relaxing environment . Trinette & Chris have really put a lot of love into their place and the attention to detail really makes this a special destination. Sparkling clean and full of light with a fully loaded kitchen complete with French press and freshly ground coffee or lovely organic teas to begin your day. The pool area is reminiscent of your own private Palm Springs resort and the master suite upstairs with claw foot tub and extremely comfortable bed rivals the best resort. Graton is so charming you don’t even need to get back in your car till you leave. There are wine tasting rooms, restaurants, cafes and hiking trails just a block or two away. If you do go further afield the house manual has great recommendations.

    Jennifer2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • While the pictures will likely sell you on the property, it actually surpasses them in real life. Trinette and Chris's place is obviously a well designed one, but their attention to the details is what takes it from a great home, to a special one. Our New Year's escape from the city was made memorable thanks to all that this home (and the region) has to offer, and the hospitality provided to us. Both inside and out, this home is a real gem.

We live in the countryside in and around organic apple orchards and vineyards in beautiful Sonoma County. Our home has a wrap around deck with gorgeous views. The ocean is a 17 minute drive and a trip from here to San Francisco will take one hour. Santa Rosa airport is a 30 minutes drive away. Soak in the hot tub, visit our daughter's hens, and enjoy the eggs if you wish (we'll leave some in the fridge), and help yourselves to what is growing in our garden and then cook up a feast in our open style kitchen while enjoying the views. We have pear, peach, apple, persimmon and apricot trees, to name a few, with a Meyer lemon tree to greet you at the front door. BBQ on the deck while sipping wine or enjoy a walk down our country lane. Know that our land is very private, but we do live in a neighborhood and have a 9pm-9am quiet policy to insure the tranquility of all the folks that live around us, so we ask for folks to respect this policy. Our home has three bedrooms ( 2 queen beds and one double bed) with 2 full bathrooms. Each bedroom has its own access onto the deck. We also offer two queen sized airbeds if needed which will be set up in the music room if needed. And we have a portable infant co-sleeper crib and a pack-and-play which can be set up anywhere. • My girlfriends and I had a wonderful one night stay at Karen & Eddie’s beautiful house. Karen was very communicative and the house was clean and inviting. The hot tub was super relaxing and everyone was comfortable. Would stay there again!

  • What an incredible home, opened to us by warm and friendly hosts Karen and Eddie. Spacious, quiet, comfortable home with beautiful amenities and gorgeous views. The night my friends and I spent visiting here was unforgettable, and we enjoyed every moment.

    Magdalena2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Karen and Eddie are wonderful hosts and were so kind to let us into their home. They greeted us kindly and were very attentive. They were clear with the house rules and they had several special touches for us that made the stay unique including fresh eggs from their chickens and lemons from their tree. We wish we could have stayed longer but are grateful for the experience we had!

    Sophia2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • The house looks exactly the same as in the pictures. It’s very well laid out, with plenty of dishes and cookware. Karen is extremely responsive and the hosts have put together a great guide accessible after you book. Thoughtful touches everywhere. This makes a wonderful weekend escape.

    Wendy2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Karen and Eddie’s home. It is a great house- very relaxing and big enough for our group of 6.Karen was very responsive and even let our kids visit the chicken coop. We’d definitely be back and for a longer visit next time!

    Shweta2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • This house is a true California gem! The interior decor is so warm and inviting, we felt like we were at a family member's house! There were six of us total and the house was extremely spacious. The kitchen is a dream to cook in, so plan on having a meal or two there! I highly suggest breakfast on the deck, so you can watch the fog subside over the foothills. The view at night is even better, as you can really see stars! Karen and Eddie provided clear check-in instructions and also offered tips of what to do in the area. We had the chance to meet them and they were so welcoming. We hope to make a trip back!

Play golden oldies on an upright piano in a home filled with antique furniture, folk art, and gleaming hardwood floors. The kitchen and bathroom also retain their vintage vibe. Wander into the garden and have lunch in the dappled shade of a pergola.
The house has two bedrooms that look out on the gardens. The master bedroom has a queen bed, and the second bedroom has a double bed. There is a well-equipped kitchen and laundry room. Water in the house is delicious, purified well water. A 55" tv is in one of the bedrooms (disguised by a pull-down map). It has Roku but no cable. Enjoy lots of games and books to read, a piano in the living room and access to high speed internet and WiFi.
The house is located in apple country, outside the small town of Sebastopol. It's very easy to find in a quiet, tree-lined neighborhood across the street from a Christmas tree farm. Apple orchards and vineyards are within walking distance.
  • Martha's home was fabulous, we felt very welcomed and it was within a 20 min drive from Nap, Bodega bay and Occidental.

We enjoyed the stay with all the amenities and strongly recommend this Airbnb for anyone who is planning to visit the Sebastapol area.

This sweet one bedroom flat is above a garage. Perfect for a couple or a family. Set in a friendly neighborhood, close to town. Take the 15-20 min walk to the bagel shop, then into downtown for an fantastic cup of coffee at Taylor Maid.
This second story house is a very desirable space, located so close to town, still being set on a very beautiful street in an friendly established older neighborhood. It is nestled between other structures on the property. One being a "Tiny House" that is right next door, my home sits behind the flat.
The best part about this space is the neighborhood. I can't say enough about it I've never seen so many friendly people in such a lovely spot. There is some traffic noise, being on the street side the bedroom can hear cars zoom by, and the occasional obnoxious monster truck etc.
  • A sunny, lovely, quiet spot in a great residential neighborhood in Sebastopol — with a wonderfully comfortable bed. And check-in was effortless.

  • This spot is so clean, cozy, and calm. I stayed here for a work trip and found it to be such a huge improvement over hotels - I got way better rest and was really able to unwind in this space. The sunlight in the morning is also such a joy. Great recommendations also. I will be back!

Amy’s Local BNB is nestled among huge fir trees in a quiet neighborhood a short walk from downtown Sebastopol. This sunny contemporary gem focuses on our commitment to local and sustainably sourced food, wine, and crafts. With a full kitchen, you can enjoy the comforts of a meal cooked “at home” from the local farmer’s market, or walk to superb local eateries. We will share maps to our favorite swimming hole on the Russian River or to ocean beaches, or introduce you to excellent local vintners.
Amy's Local BNB is a completely separate studio on the third floor of our home in Sebastopol. You enter via a private exterior staircase into this newly renovated space with high ceilings and wonderful views of old growth fir trees and the valley and hills beyond. As a professional contractor and interior architect, we have taken great pride in the quality of the design and construction. The full kitchen has top quality appliances, and we have included a full complement of cooking and serving wares. There is a queen bed (100% latex mattress) and a washer/dryer. You will have super fast fiber optic WiFi and a Netflix account to use. (No cable or local TV stations). There is a hot tub and a private back patio with a gas grill available for guests from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Coffee or tea, with organic additives of your choice, and fresh home-baked gluten-free pastries are complimentary each morning. As an extra service, we can provide full breakfasts and/or picnic basket lunches, or fresh eggs from the girls in the backyard. We are in the process of transforming the back yard into a permaculture micro-farm. We have installed large rainwater storage tanks that provide irrigation water for the fruit and vegetable gardens, and a seasonal swale, with native plants, that soaks water into the ground. We are creating a full-circle ecosystem with kitchen scraps feeding the chickens, to compost, to gardens, and back to the kitchens. Come be part of our nourishing circle. We just remodeled our shower and it is gorgeous! Marble tile from floor to ceiling for a luxurious experience.
We live on top of a hill surrounded by Douglas firs in a residential neighborhood overlooking the Laguna de Santa Rosa. We are a few blocks from Main Street with shopping and restaurants.

Our studio space is detached from our house, 460 sq. ft., including a bedroom area, living space, small food prep/eating area and clean, bright bathroom. We are located in downtown Sebastopol, near great food, great wine, hiking, biking and more!
We have made the modern bungalow beautiful and special because we love our guests and get so much pleasure from sharing a wonderful space with fantastic people. The main living and sleeping area is one large 460 sq. ft. space. It is separate from our house and remodeled in 2016. We are excited to welcome and meet Airbnb friends, old and new. The space has a separate entrance. It is spacious, cozy, clean and modern with Mid-Century furnishings and colorful art. There is NO TELEVISION but there is great WiFi and also a 9 screen movie theater just 2 blocks away. The open floor plan is divided into a comfortable sleeping area and spacious living area. Our guests have loved the comfort of the queen bed with Stearns and Foster mattress, memory foam topper and luxury, high quality bedding. There is a ceiling fan for those occasional warm summer nights and a heater to keep the space cozy in winter. The food prep space is almost a kitchen (NO STOVE/OVEN). It has a coffee pot (coffee provided), teakettle, toaster, microwave and compact fridge. In the open living area you will have a table and chairs for having coffee or enjoying a simple snack or meal. We provide coffee, tea and filtered water. Lots of local information is there for you on the desk. Bring your laptop and use our high speed wifi. Of course there is also a lovely bathroom which is bright and clean. The bathroom includes high quality shampoo, conditioner and hairdryer, for you to use. We hope that you have the time to enjoy the outdoor seating areas and lovely landscape, too. Our location is downtown Sebastopol with easy access to lots of great restaurants, wine tasting, hiking, walking, bike trails. Once you park your car in our off street parking, you can walk to everything in Sebastopol! Our home is in a great in-town neighborhood. We are situated on nearly a third of an acre so the backyard feels like a bit of an oasis in the downtown. Spend some time in the quiet, colorful back yard and enjoy some sunshine in the beautiful landscape and views of the Laguna and Santa Rosa mountains.
Sebastopol is in the center of Wine Country, with the Russian River to the West, Healdsburg to the North, Sonoma Valley and Napa Valley to the East. Our home is in downtown Sebastopol; a wonderful Northern California town with a great Main Street, and the new Barlow Center located just a few blocks away. You can walk to great restaurants, wine , brew pubs, a 6-plex movie theater, the best homemade ice cream at Mimi's, bike and walking/biking trails, health food markets and more! The space was clean, comfortable, and had some lovely touches. You look right out onto the garden, and it was perfectly private. The check-in process was very smooth, and Abby was quick to communicate if we needed anything or had questions through our visit. We highly recommend this space! Due to Covid 19 we are not booking any reservations up to May 3rd. We will reevaluate as May 3rd nears. Thank you and stay safe out there. Beautiful patio, garden and room Private lighted entrance and bathroom.
It is homey and comfortable with eclectic decor. Very well appointed with private entrance and patio with many beautiful flowers. Very calming in every way. The room accommodates two easily and we will allow a third person with advance notice. Guests can have access to the backyard and garden. They can pick and eat anything they want from the garden. If they need to do laundry or need access to a full kitchen it can be arranged. We are very flexible with everything. We have lived here for 32 years and raised two children in this home. The neighbors on either side of our home have been here as long as us. We have a great neighborhood and love our neighbors. Once families move in to this area they hardly ever leave. There is only one way in and out of this housing plan and walking the Kelly Plan is a nice walk. Very safe area. The entrance can feel funky as it is named Industrial Avenue and there is a large industrial building straight ahead but you will be turning on the second street (Barbara) off of Industrial. These are older homes built in the late 40's and ranch style. Very quiet at night and some have said "too quiet"! You can walk to town (we think driving is the best though) because there is just one area that does not have a sidewalk so you have to be careful. We have walked many times from town our home - about two miles. Husband speaks German so all you Germans come on over so he can practice!

  • Nancy's AirBnB is our favorite--we stay there whenever we're in the area and it's available. Comfortable, clean, and cozy.

    Becky2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Nancy’s space is absolutely wonderful. We truly loved her entire space. Not only was the space really nice, there was a cute welcome note just for me, which was a really kind touch. There’s a magnificent garden, great outdoor space for relaxing and connecting with the elements. There’s so much love and creativity in all the details and it shows. Our room was spacious, sparkling clean and the sleep number bed was pretty comfy. Downtown Sebastopol is less than a 5min drive and the beach is only 30mins away! Nancy was kind enough to show me around the property and I got inspired by what I saw and have decided to incorporate some of those things for my house back home. We will definitely be returning.

  • Nancy is such a kind host. She gave me and my wife a quick tour, provided us suggestions for a place to eat, and offered us ride if needed. The place was perfect for the night we spent. Looking forward to coming back for a full weekend!

    Carmen2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Nancy is a wonderful host. She responded quickly with warmth and an obvious desire to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The space is quiet and private with cozy blankets, garden views, a nice hot shower (and heated fan in the bathroom!), extra towels, fresh coffee in the kitchen, and the place is so close to all the fun in Sebastopol and local wineries. Loved it.

  • We enjoyed our stay very much! Perfect location for walking to the Barlow and downtown. Wendy and Lisa had great local recommendations, some a short drive away as well! The Airbnb was very zen and we liked that we had a private courtyard!

    Caitlin2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Wendy and Lisa's guest house was excellent. We loved the place and the light in this space was uplifting. The bed was very comfortable as well as the sofa for relaxing. It felt very private and we loved it! Thank you for all the little touches.

This is a nice little neighborhood of historic homes and is very walkable. Within 5 minutes there are restaurants, shopping, wine tasting, bike rentals, The Barlow, walking/bike trails. Great markets include Whole Foods, Community Market, Farmers Market (Sundays) and more!
  • This unit was beyond my expectations. I usually only stay in places listed as "Entire Place", this was my first time staying in someone's home. Her home was beautiful and elegant. My space felt very private and I had all the autonomy I could want. It felt more like renting an apartment in a beautiful building in San Francisco. The location is also incredible. Just three blocks away from downtown. I walked to several music venues, bars, restaurants, coffee shops, Whole Foods Market, and sweet shopping locations. Safeway is also very close. The pictures on the website did not do it justice. The space felt like walking into an interior decorating magazine. Karen, my host, was very kind and thoughtful. I stayed for my birthday weekend and she even put a sweet birthday cupcake in the room!! I almost died of gratitude when I saw that. There were fresh tulips on the table and bundles of dried lavender! The bed was very comfortable, the pillows were primo. There were so many thoughtful extra touches- too many to name. There was a white noise machine making gentle ocean sounds when I arrived. While there was not a kitchen, there was a coffee maker, a small fridge, and an ample cabinet full of all the things you would need for breakfast (including actual breakfast foods and snacks), enjoying tea, and drinking wine. She really thought of everything I could need. The clawfoot bathtub was everything I could hope for (it was the main reason that I booked this place). She even included bath salts, bubble bath, exquisite toiletries, soft soft towels, and a bath robe! This was deluxe. It was an incredible value. I LOVED it. If she will have me back, I will book this place over and over. Thank you, Karen! I appreciate you and what you do.

  • Karen has created a lovely, welcoming, quiet, relaxing space for her guests. What a great value.

    Trina2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Karen’s space is amazing. The little touches she adds are just fantastic. The location was a perfect walk to the downtown area but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful when we didn’t want to be “in the action”. I highly recommend booking this space for your next trip to the Russian River Valley

    Will2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • We had the most peaceful, lovely stay here. The room was beautiful, spacious and very comfortable. There was a great selection of teas, a noise machine, fresh flowers on the table, and (bonus) great smelling bathroom products. The bathtub was also divine. We didn’t meet Karen in person but she was very accommodating and quick to respond to messages. Location is great too. Definitely recommend!

  • I had a great couple nights in Karen's room. If you're hesitant about booking a private room (instead of an entire place) don't be ... there's lots of privacy here. Karen's thought through all the little details, and you're an easy walk to the shops and restaurants in downtown Sebastopol. Thanks for a great stay!

We call our second-story studio apartment the Magic Treehouse because it is up in the trees that enhance the view and provide a magical ambience. The high ceilings add an openness that is very relaxing. It is within walking distance from downtown Sebastopol and close to many other fun and beautiful places. Come check it out!
  • Great stay and peaceful location.

  • You will be so happy when you book your stay here! Best Airbnb experience we have ever had! Delora is so thoughtful in everything she did in preparation for our visit! • Delora is a fabulous host! She was very friendly and went out of her way to make us feel at home. She had breakfast food ready for us and lots of information about the area handy in the treehouse. The place has great light, a nice eating nook, comfortable bed and efficiency kitchen. She was great at giving us directions from the airport as well as showing us the little intricacies of the place. She even graciously waited up for us when we checked in at 2 am! Wow! Not many would go out of their way like that. I highly recommend staying there!

    Susan And Mark2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Delora’s treehouse is a great spot! It’s located in a quiet neighborhood close to town, just up the hill from some sheep, goats and a pig! I found the treehouse to be super comfortable. Sebastopol is a wonderful community and Delora has lots of information and recommendations. Great stay!

Charming upstairs flat in a beautiful craftsman--located in the heart of Sebastopol. Walk downtown and to the Barlow! With a lovely garden, chickens to provide fresh eggs, this light filled space is a sweet place to call home while visiting beautiful Sonoma County! This space accommodates 2 (one bedroom/king bed)--if there are 3 in your party we have an air mattress. The couch is super comfy, too!
Walking distance to downtown and the fabulous Barlow, central to dozens of Sonoma County wineries.
  • Colleen's place is a perfect place to spend some time in Sebastapol, or even Sonoma county in general. The location is great, an easy drive to anywhere in the area. The little "downtown" area is just a couple blocks away. The space itself is wonderful. It's a very spacious 2nd floor apartment, with a large and very comfortable king bed. The property is quiet, with a beautiful garden area right outside, complete with nice flower views from the the windows. And they even provided fresh eggs from their hens, which were so delicious! This is an excellent place to spend a relaxing weekend (or preferably even longer) whether enjoying the local wineries or just soaking up the beautiful surroundings.

  • Colleen is the best Airbnb Host I have ever had. Ive traveled around the world and around the U.S. staying in many Airbnb's but Colleens home felt like a second home to me and my friend who stayed. Colleen had the most thoughtful little touches like adding fresh cut bouquets to the living space, having a bottle of wine ready, and fresh eggs. Every part of the space was immaculate when it came to cleanliness. She had amazing communication with us and her house is SO close to town so it was a hop, skip and a jump to go to Whole Foods or enjoy breakfast at Gypsy Cafe. We will be traveling to Sebastopol quite often this year and we cannot wait to stay with Colleen again!!

    Brianna2020-02-21T00:00:00Z

Remodeled, cute & quiet. We give you your privacy. No security deposit. Fresh herbs, grapes & Gravenstein apples outside your door. Walking distance to Andy's produce, Roasters Coffee and the Joe Rodota trail (15 min walk) which leads directly to downtown Sebastopol & the Barlow. The location is perfect! It's close to Summerfield Waldorf & the SR Golf & Country Club. The guesthouse is private & to the rear of the house and faces an open lawn & garden area. Set just off Hwy 116 on a private lane.
Great patio outside great for sipping morning coffee or evening wine. Nice screened door leads to roomy hallway and open kitchen/living area. Most everything provided CABLE & WIFI, fluffy towels, fuzzy robes, shampoo, conditioner, soap etc. Large bathroom with all the amenities. Kitchen with lots of storage space...utensils, pots and pans, cookie sheets, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, kitchen staples etc. Washer/Dryer.. COZY and COMFY...Did I mention that this is the perfect location!
The neighborhood is quiet. It's in the country, but there are a few houses around. There are squirrels, turkeys, foxes, dogs, chickens and some night wildlife. Off Hwy 116 off a little lane all the way to the end. Very touristy area on the Hwy 116 corridor. Close to Merryhill Winery, Dutton-Goldfield tasting room, Mom's Apple Pie, the town of Graton, Willowood Restaurant, Kozlowski Farms, Andy's Produce Stand and Market. Korbel Winery and the Russian River is about 7-10 minutes away. Because of the fires in Sonoma County, we are currently storing couple of vehicles for family and friends.

Just a short walk to down town Sebastopol and The Barlow. This newly renovated house has great amenities. If you want to enjoy Sebastopol's culture, downtown is the place to be or you can take a drive up the Northern California coast. Visit Sebastopol if you are in the mood for great food and amazing wine. Or syou can even stop off at the Crooked Goat brewery for a pint!
The unit was renovated in late 2018 so everything is brand new from flooring to appliances. The TV has access to all the latest apps with Roku and a Chromecast and the high speed 1GB/s internet. There is a gas fireplace in the living room.
The distance from downtown makes this an unbeatable location. The coast is a quick drive to the west and if you want to head into Santa Rosa, the freeway is a short drive through town. Amazing restaurants and a world class ice cream shop (Screamin' Mimi's Ice Cream) make this a place you don't want to miss.

  • Great space,Sparkling clean and in a great location.Very nice furnishings and Noah the host was very responsive and accommodating. We walked to the Barlow. The driveway to pull in was a bit difficult to see at night (and in the rain) but if you use the Sushi Restaurant as your reference point, it helps.

  • Lawrence is so prompt, and helpful. What a gem of a property. No hidden nonsense about the place. It being tucked back off the road allows that much more privacy. It is well kept, and has beautiful decor. Such a warm welcoming feeling, as you are drawn in by the high ceilings with bare wood rafters. Followed by relaxing on the balcony. Also, primo water pressure. Great spot, Lawrence.

  • Great location, very clean, well equipped, great floor plan, great communication. We've never written a review of an Air BnB because we don't like to criticize; most Air Bnbs that we have stayed at have had serious shortcomings; However here, we were surprisingly happy with our stay and thought it was exceptional.

  • Neysa's place was very clean and in a great location. I highly recommend it.

    Lindsay2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Easy to find, simple check in and very thoughtful touches made our stay at Neysa's stylish and comfortable first floor "master suite" with private exterior entrance perfect for our family visit. We appreciated the electric kettle for tea and french press coffee (some supplied) and the oatmeal, fruit and other snacks, drinks and treats left in the mini fridge. The shower was bright and roomy and the heated bathroom floor a treat for the feet! I would have preferred a solid door for the bathroom (there is a gauzy curtain adding to the airy bright feel of the space), but it was not a great issue for us.

  • A great place to stay for one or two people. Quite street very clean and nice snacks, mini fridge was thoughtful. I would return here on future visits

  • This is a great place with a great host. The best bed I’ve slept in during the 6+ AirBnb journey I’m on. Clean, spacious, good vibe, nice house, nice neighborhood, all the good stuff about this place. If only I could bring the experience to all the locations I’m hitting. :-) Thanks!

    Christopher2019-12-04T00:00:00Z
  • I have been travelling for many years but have rarely been wowed and utterly surprised like this! Neysa’s separate room and bathroom are so comfortable, luxurious and quiet that I felt the strong need to return in future. It is rare to have a host thinking about all the little details and adding so many warm and kind touches to a place to make a traveller feel utterly welcome. I was working on a series of interviews and under pressure, so the breakfast provided in the room (proper fridge!) was just perfect and exactly what I needed during those two mornings. Well done! Exceptional!

  • This is a lovely, spacious private room very close to downtown. Highly recommended!

    Dean2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • The room was very spacious and clean! Since the room has it’s own entrance, my girlfriend and I felt like we had adequate space and privacy despite the room being attached to the main house. We were very appreciative of Neysa being accommodative during the Kincade Fire. She frequently kept us updated with the news and provided flashlights during the power outages. Neysa went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay :)

  • We paid for an Airbnb but ended up getting more than the place. Miss Daisy is a kind-hearted, groovy, spirited human who is warm, friendly, and has a way of speaking that made us want to learn. It was a real treat to listen and learn from her worldview. The place was tidy, clean, and comfortable. Thank you!

  • Every little thing she does is magic The property is quite the pantheon Even though my life before was tragic Now I know my love for (Miss Daisy's Magical Wonderland) goes on

    Evan2020-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • Daisy was an amazing host, so sweet and kind! She is available as much or as little as you want, you can chat by the fire or you can have complete privacy. The big room is clean and beautifully decorated and has a private bathroom. There are gardens and plenty of outdoor space to wander or just sit and read. Her home feels like it's out in the country but it's only a few blocks from restaurants and markets. Do yourself a favor and stay with Miss Daisy!

    Tiffany2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • We so loved our evening at Daisy’s Wonderland! Daisy is a wonderful spirit and that spirit is captured in all of the amazing details of her house. Everything was clean and ready for us. No issues at all. Extremely comfortable bed! Waking up and having coffee while exploring the garden and backyard was a super bonus! Daisy has beautiful energy and we felt very cared for. We will visit again:)

Our 950 sq ft 1 bedroom guest house is very spacious, with high vaulted ceilings. The space stays warm and cozy in the winter with a pellet stove and gas furnace, as well as radiant heated flooring in the bathroom. French doors open to your own private deck with seating area in the back of the cottage. Fully equipped kitchen, lounge area with tv/dvd player, mp3 stereo and shuffleboard also included!
  • Staying at Kathy and Mike’s place was a great experience. We walked in the cottage to find a bottle of wine waiting for us - a very nice Sebastopol zinfindel. They also provided us with eggs from their chickens, butter, cream, muffins and homemade apple jam. Was nice to have a full kitchen to cook breakfast and dinner on occasion. The place very clean and just as described plus more. Also a cute back patio to sit outside. It was a great location for us to launch on a bike ride to the coast or go find hiking and wineries. Kathy and Mike provided a list of local restaurants and we chose dinner at Gravenstein grill - very nice place and food was delicious! We felt like we had our own private slice of Sebastopol for the weekend, just what we were looking for. Thanks, Cindy

  • This small back house on an acre property is perfect for a quiet, peaceful and comfortable stay. The hosts are very accommodating and offer many lovely touches including fresh eggs, apple butter, cream and English muffins with butter. The space is large, comfortable and well stocked. Although we didn't cook much, we could have! Thank you again for a great place. We hope to stay again soon. Colleen and Mike Mc

  • We enjoyed staying at Kathy and Mike’s place very much and we would definitely recommend their place . It was private and we enjoyed walking around the town of Sebastopol. It was located near our family that we were visiting. Unfortunately, we lost our electricity and had to evacuate at 6:00am in the dark a day earlier then our scheduled check out day due to the Kincade fires. So that was an experience we will always remember.

  • This place was magical. It truly was a wonderful experience. The place is perfect for a quick weekend getaway to chill and hang with family. Kid friendly for sure. Kids can ran around and play while adults can sit and enjoy a glass of wine. Eden was a great host. Easy to communicate with. The place is full of activities to do. Games and more. Eden was nice enough to send me all recommended places to visit. The place is for sure 1 of the best experience we've had through air bnb. Highly recommend Kamp Casa.

  • This is a unique and wonderful place for a big or small group. Kitchen has everything you can imagine. A great outdoor space. Has so much for both adults and kids. Has an outdoor hot tub, game room, bbq grill, swings, a big fire pit and so much more. They provide information about things you can do locally. Had a very nice experience spending a weekend with friends. The only points to note (which weren’t an issue for us) that might be good to know: the place has a lot of stuff so it is not toddler friendly, and there are no window treatments throughout the home, including bathrooms. But lovely place to spend a relaxing weekend! Will go back if I get a chance.

  • We had a great time at Camp Kasa! The space was perfect for our group of 10 and Eden was a great host - very responsive and accommodating. I wish we could have stayed longer!

  • We were planning a Labor Day Russian River trip about 2 months ago and needed a place for 24 friends. Eden & Scott's place popped up on Airbnb and it was perfect of all of us. From the beginning of the booking process, they were so accommodating as my group grew from 16 to 24. The main house slept 17 comfortably and the 4 glamping tents housed the other 7. Eden responded quickly to all my requests and made me feel very comfortable as I was asking her plenty of questions before the trip. The entire lot is spacious and great for large groups. My friends and I used the BBQ, the game room, the trampoline, hot tub, campfire, and ping pong table. All 24 people had a comfortable place to sleep with beds rolled out around the living room and bedrooms. I personally slept in the tent and loved how spacious + comfortable it was! All 4 tents had a soft, lush carpet that covers the entire floor area. My buddy is 6'5" and he could stand comfortably inside so there's definitely plenty of room. There's a Queen size bed in each tent with plenty of blankets + comforters to keep you warm. Eden provided us with lamps inside and outside of the tent area to light up the walkway to head back to main house for restrooms. Being from the city of SF, it was nice to fall asleep to the outdoor noises and wake up naturally to sunlight. The drive to Steelhead Beach was about 20 minutes away. We did have 6 cars there and there was plenty or parking spots at the front of the lot. My entire friend group kept thanking me for finding this gem. I'm so grateful that this weekend worked out exactly the way we all wanted to. Fantastic experience at the house + great time at the river. We couldn't have asked for more and will definitely think of Eden & Scott for future trips to Sebastopol.

    Jack2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Eden & Scott were great hosts! Our group very much enjoyed the property and all the fun amenities that came with it. Saturday morning we taxied to Russian River which was just about 20 minutes away to float for a few hours then came back to play bocce ball and horseshoes. I would definitely recommend this spot to others if you’re in the Sebastopol area!

Our camper is new, we bought it just a couple of years ago. It has a nice dining area with windows that look out to beautiful oak trees. There is a microwave, stove, and refrigerator. There are two sinks, and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. The back bedroom is cozy. There are different lighting options and heat and a/c. We are near the end of a dirt road that is off a main city street making the property feel very rural, but is only a 15 minute walk from the center of town.
The camper is totally self sufficient and located next to our house on our 1.5 acre property.
The location of our property is ideal. It is tucked away at the end of a typical residential street in Sebastopol, making it a short walk to parks and town, yet surrounded by properties with large acreage. This gives our area a more rural feel with lots of trees. The neighborhood is well connected and friendly. And many people are out and about taking walks.
  • Susan’s place is adorable and cozy. Loved that it was a short and gorgeous walk into town. Susan took us in last minute and left us a bottle of wine and chocolate. ❤️It made our weekend in Sonoma county happily memorable.

    Vincent2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Susan and Willard rag team to make sure your reasonable needs are met. Location a bit tricky to find even with good GPS navigation as there is no street sign to know where to turn onto Robinson Rd. from the West end of that road. It is a dirt/gravel road on that end. The RV was clean and all necessary items and a surprise bottle of wine and chocolate was waiting in the kitchen. Bed mattress, I forgot to mention, could use more support near the night stand. The extra pillows provided sufficed the second night I was there. The wonderful comforter made the cold nights excellent as well as the ceramic heater!

    Carol2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Susan's RV was everything we expected and more. The place was incredibly clean and spacious, me and my girlfriend fit very comfortably. The location is perfect, only a 15-20 minute walk to downtown Sebastopol! Perfect for a weekend getaway!

    Trevor2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Susan’s trailer is quite the stay. We stayed for over a month as temporary housing. The trailer is cozy but very functional. Having Apple TV there is a nice addition. It was cold/rainy much of the time we were there so didn’t get to enjoy the outside much, but nearby Ragle park is a great place to get a nice walk in. Susan is very friendly and caring, a super host who easily handled our odd requests. If you are a cook, just note that the exhaust fan doesn’t quite pull enough air out so you’ll want to open windows. No biggie. The portable heater is super handy. Also note the shower is small and the hot water is limited. So again cozy but very functional.

    Robert2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • Spot was quiet and peaceful, and the RV was cozy, with generous-sized beds. Everything was clean and communication was excellent. Downtown Sebastopol was a short walk away - recommended!

    Tontra & Michael2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • The camper was a perfect place for me to rest and recharge this past weekend. Susan was extremely thoughtful and even checked on me the day after check-in to make sure I had everything I needed. The place was clean. I was quite impressed with this tiny little studio on wheels. I'm a chef and I have found no problem making dinner for myself in the kitchen!

If you love the modern, clean style of boutique hotels, but crave privacy, serenity and glorious natural beauty, this is the place for you. We're that way, too. So we designed and built our modern hilltop hideaway to create a best-of-both-worlds experience for our guests. Call it Zen luxury with a view... and every amenity, including breakfast! From the moment you set foot in VILLA CIEL to the moment you leave, you’ll experience a heightened feeling of inspiration, relaxation and reconnection.
The French word "CIEL" has two meanings: "SKY" and "HEAVEN." When you visit, you'll know why this was the obvious name for our very special vacation retreat. Located in the most scenic part of Western Sonoma County, with long views over the Mayacama mountains (which straddle Sonoma and Napa counties) and rolling hills studded with vineyards, orchards, and farms, VILLA CIEL was designed from the ground up for guests who seek a stylish, serene haven with virtually every amenity they could desire. That means modern architecture, design and furniture... a private hot tub... fresh flowers, delicious breakfast, French press, and chilled drinks... up-to-the-minute technology (ultra-fast internet, private EV charger, bluetooth speaker, 4K Smart TV)... private parking and entrance... your own washer and dryer, towel warmers, heated floors and air conditioning — all in a stunning rural setting, with MAJESTIC, amphitheater-like vistas. VILLA CIEL takes advantage of Sonoma County’s famously fabulous weather, with a classic, airy, indoor-outdoor design. Drift in and outside of your scenic wraparound deck. Stargaze. Watch the sun (or moon) rise from your private hot tub, suspended high above the rolling fields on our 8-acre property. Or gaze in awe as the fog rolls in, a glass of local Pinot in your hand. Our Mediterranean climate offers generous, dry, sunny days for much of the year, and always-cool nights... perfect for all-day fun adventures like sightseeing, hiking, wine-tasting, brewery-hopping, cycling, shopping, laughing, and dining... and deep, restful sleep at the end of the day. Speaking of sleep, you'll fall into a super-comfortable bed with new Leesa mattress and ultra-soft sheets and down comforter. You'll also relish a spa-like bathroom with oversized shower drenched in morning sunlight, heated floors, fluffy towels with towel warmer, robes and slippers, fully stocked with toiletries and bathroom necessities. You'll even find a few extras... like your own sparkling-clean washer and dryer, ironing board, and (yes!) even a clean yoga mat — everything you need to get comfortable and stay awhile. Enter your suite from a private redwood door onto a generous, sleek deck with a jaw-dropping view. The deck features a brand-new spa, all-weather seating, outdoor grill, outdoor heater, and large, modern Italian dining room table — the perfect setup for cocktails, wine-tasting and al-fresco dining. The deck also frames a lovely kitchenette and indoor bar with wraparound windows (it doubles as a laptop station should you be so inclined). You’ll find your kitchenette stocked with delicious, local, organic breakfast fare, as well as fresh fruit — and perhaps a few other seasonal goodies as well, courtesy of your chef-hostess. Only an hour from the Golden Gate Bridge and 20 minutes from the ocean, you'll be forgiven if you think you might’ve taken a wrong turn and landed in Tuscany (or Scotland, if you're at the coast!). Such is the power, beauty and diversity of the weather and landscape that surrounds us here. VILLA CIEL is perfectly situated to take advantage of all that this special region offers. Located at the top of a quiet hill, we are secluded and serene, with breathtaking views all around. Yet we are only 10-15 minutes from some of the most incredible food — casual to elevated — available anywhere. And no more than 45 minutes away from numberless scenic towns, villages and hamlets... iconic tasting rooms... redwood groves and parks... pastures and prairies... and stunning Pacific Coast beaches. The vibrant small town of Sebastopol, with its world-class eateries, wineries, breweries, distillers, its bookstores, antiques, theater company and art-cinema cineplex — and the amazing Barlow artisanal complex — is a mere 12 minutes down the road. Healdsburg — world-famous for its plaza, restaurants and unique shops — is a gorgeous 30-minute drive away across the Russian River and along the vineyard-studded Dry Creek Valley. Enjoy an unforgettable massage, facial or Japanese cedar bath at the award-winning Osmosis (5 minutes away). Go on a wine trail, an art trail, a cheese trail, forage for mushrooms, visit the old-grove redwoods at the astonishing Armstrong Woods. If cycling’s your thing, you’ll soon see why Western Sonoma County is mecca for scenic biking — and a frequent stage of the Tour de California. You could come here a dozen times, and never run out of inspiring, exciting things to do. (In fact, that’s why we ended up moving here...) We are here to help you make the most of your time with us.
  • A charming, quiet and clean respite from the every day hustle and bustle of the world. Viviane and Marc are terrific hosts that genuinely care about the quality of their guest's stay. The view is spectacular and the peace that comes along with it...priceless.

  • This little haven was an absolute dream with so many thoughtful touches. Every detail thought of and provided, from the towel warmer to the French press with coffee and half and half. Lovely space and gorgeous views.

  • What a beautiful place!!! The view! The hot tub! The bed that feels like a cloud! The space is very nicely decorated with many thoughtful touches (robes, heated towel rack, bottle of champagne waiting on ice at arrival) made our stay very special.

  • My husband and I just spent 2 glorious nights at Villa Ciel. The setting is spectacular and Viviane’s attention to detail is pretty amazing. From breakfast including home made granola to luxurious robes for the delightful hot tub to so much more made it a perfect stay. However, what really impressed us both was the kindness and hospitality of Viviane and Marc. They both want out of their way to assure our stay was special and it most definitely was. We are already planning our return!

    Debra2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • An amazing space. I wish I could live there. Literally did not want to leave. Everything is high quality, and well though out.

    Jesse2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • What a charming and relaxing place to stay. We especially enjoyed the views of the valley from the patio and Jacuzzi as well as the thoughtful touches left by the hosts, including local bread, eggs, and granola! We wished we could have stayed longer and would love to stay here again!

    Aja2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Viviane and Marc are incredible as is their Villa! Do not hesitate to stay here! This was my most favorite part of my trip. The Villa was clean with amazing views. The personal touches and goodies Viviane left made the trip so memorable. I cannot wait to stay here again!

High-end amenities in a playful 550sf studio cottage, ideal for 1-3 people. (Families can squeeze in up to 5 people if one is a small child who sleeps on the couch!) This Granny Unit has all you need for a relaxed, affordable & peaceful stay. Home features superior value & quality and is significantly better in both style & comfort than our hotels. Beautiful private backyard w/ gas fireplace. Home is private, quiet & restful. Enjoy yourselves completely... ideal for wedding prep.
COVID-19 UPDATE: Due to the Coronavirus we are only accepting longer-term tenants. Rent for one month or longer at a dramatically-reduced weekly rental rate. Charming small town Sebastopol is a great place to get away from the risk of high density city dwelling. Only an hour from San Francisco, yet living in a small country environment. There is a fabulous grocery store a block away, many outdoor trails and places to be in GORGEOUS nature, and an Urgent Care Center, also a block away. There are several major hospitals in the area. Also, numerous cafes and restaurants are selling food to go. The hardware and local farm supply store is open and we have a garden too; we are happy to share our abundance. Back yard is a major coup! Cottage has been isolated from any contamination. Friendly neighbors next door to decrease your isolation and loneliness. Great WiFi and large eating bar for work from home space. How great would it be to stay within walking distance to Sebastopol's many coffeehouses, theaters, farmer's market, best run grocery store and numerous wine tasting rooms? Your "home away" is about 8 blocks from our picturesque downtown and our small hamlet is centrally located to all of Sonoma County's best attractions: wineries, bike trails, hiking paths, coastline, vineyards, the Russian River and old growth redwood forests! The Stone Cutter's Cottage really was the workshop where the Head Mason for the Luther Burbank's Center for the Arts, cut his stones! Today, it is a fully modern, independent Granny Unit (one room) with a full kitchen and a bath, complete with Jacuzzi tub and A/C. Your kitchen holds all the amenities you will need including spices, and all quality linens and bedding are provided for your comfort. The spacious studio comes with a high end Queen bed and mattress (oooohhh, comfy!) and a queen size self-filling blow up bed, easily deflated and stored during the daytime. (Let us know if you want it made up prior to your arrival.) The Studio has a large private yard with a gas glass fireplace, two patio areas, a two person hammock and gas grill/barbecue. Do you need a babysitter? We have two living here! Be sure to see the incredible scenery and hike some trails while you are here...you can rent canoes or kayaks nearby! We invite you to make use of the picnic basket we have created for you, found in the closet. Our countryside and beaches are spectacular! There are many regional parks nearby, as well...no worries..we'll have a guidebook here for you when you arrive. When planning your trip, just remember that there is a lot more to the wine country than just wine! We have some amazing coastal hikes, wetlands, estuaries and preserves...and San Francisco is just an hour away! And, did you know this is a biker's paradise! There is save storage for bikes at the side of the house. We look forward to hosting you when you come our way and will do what we can to make your stay in the wine county memorable. We love it here and trust you will as well.
You'll be staying in an older, super safe, well-established family neighborhood. Overall, it is a very quiet, calm area of town. The home is at the top of a one block hill so if you like to walk, this place is great for cardio workouts! The main queen bed is a firm Posturepedic...We have put a four-inch foam topper on it to make it less so. If you like a firm bed, just take the topper off and store in the closet. Guests consistently tell us it is super comfy--not too hard...not too soft! The second queen-sized bed is a queen mattress air bed, (normal height bed) and is five star rated, the top of the line--not your camping mattress from childhood! It is the SoundAsleep Dream Series, with Comfort Coil Technology, rated by Best Reviews, May 2016. They say it is the very best on the market. One young child may sleep on the sofa, but we request that adults use the air bed. The couch is pretty comfy, too, though it does not pull out. All bedding is provided, including a sleeping bag for the sofa.
  • The place is great and in a great location to hit lots of wineries and lots of nature for hiking etc. The outdoor space with gas fireplace and the amenities inside makes it very comfortable plus you are close driving distance to many things and close walking into "downtown" for dinner or more wine!

Harmony Cottage is a sweet studio right in the heart of downtown Sebastopol! Walk to great restaurants, coffee, wine bars, local brewery and shopping.
Our cottage is a separate building on our property, with a half bath and kitchenette and private outdoor shower.
  • Very cool space in a great location with thoughtful touches like coffee and wine we greatly appreciated. Outdoor shower was awesome too; highly recommend Colleen’s place

  • Great place. Wonderful location and amenities

    Carter2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay in Sebastopol! We walked from this cute cottage to Lowell's restaurant, a delicious farm to table restaurant where we enjoyed soup, salad and pizza – all made with the best local ingredients. We ate at the Wildflour Bakery and Sebastopol Farmers' Market too (eating was definitely a theme of our weekend away!) Colleen and Terence were very hospitable, the space was clean and nicely decorated with plenty of natural light, and the location was A+. One thing to note: the bathroom had a curtain rather than a door and that was fine for us but might surprise some guests. Thank you!!

    Leslie2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect location to walk to restaurants, farmer’s market, The Barlow, the movies. Simple, comfy lovely home base for West County adventures. Outdoor shower! Colleen is a warm and welcoming host, makes sure to orient guests and communicates quickly and well. Highly recommend this getaway gem!

    Carol2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Colleen is a sensational hostess who goes above and beyond for her guests. This charming cottage has a lot of space and an incredible outdoor shower - talk about being one with the natural surroundings. Colleen is so wonderfully hospitable and even had wine and coffee waiting for us upon our arrival. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. We had the best time. An added bonus was that we could walk just minutes to get into town and have a wine tasting! So much fun.

    Danene2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • I had a beautiful stay at Colleen’s place ! Would definitely be back !

    Aisha2019-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • A fabulous stay at the cottage, which was clean and tidy, loaded with charm and offered a sense of calm. From Colleen’s warm welcome and local recommendations to thoughtful touches (ex: fresh wildflowers in bud vases throughout the room; a filtered water station) the cottage was so very welcoming. Had a sound sleep on the mattress and the outdoor shower, enclosed by a roof of lush foliage, made you feel as though you were in a little secret garden— it was truly a highlight!
