Staci’s place is adorable and charming. There are thoughtful touches throughout the cabin, such as a collection of DVDs, a small fire pit, & a variety of kitchenware. I definitely recommend Staci’s place if you want quick access to wineries and a cute place to stay.

This was such a cute little place. It was perfect for two nights. The place is small but has everything you need. There are all the thoughtful touches you hope for in an Airbnb, such as shampoo and conditioner and a coffee maker. But, there are also the above and beyond extras such as refrigerated creamer, oatmeal, and cereal. It is in a good location and quick to get to Paso Robles and Templeton and is just a short drive to downtown Atascadero. Ellen was extremely responsive and check in and check out are about as easy as it can get. Thanks!

Cute and quiet place to stay. We visited Paso Robles for wine tasting and Pismo beach while we stayed here and found it convenient to both. Location was easy to get to and close to downtown Atascadero. Ellen was quick to respond and easy to rent with. We were greeted with a bottle of wine and the fridge was stocked with dairy and creamer for cereal and coffee. Rugs and linens were all soft, comfortable, and good quality. Great experience.

Ellen's place was very nice with lovely touches. Very comfortable bed, fresh and airy beddings, and everything needed for toiletry, shower, and morning coffee and snacks. She had a bottle of wine waiting for me, which was greatly appreciated after a long drive and a collage visit to my son. I would definitely recommend it.

Beautiful place with very thoughtful touches (complimentary bottle of wine, to go coffee cups (Keurig and coffee pods supplied, oatmeal, granola and fig bars, good quality shampoo and conditioner, etc). Quick responses/great communication. Close to hiking trails (Three Bridges was beautiful). Only 10-15 minutes from Paso Robles and super close to the very cute downtown of Atascadero.

Wonderful stay and John was extremely helpful and friendly! The place is cozy and in a beautiful area! You can easily take the car and ride along highway 1, up and down the beautiful coast! Lovely hosts that made the stay just perfect!

Beautiful and unique location. Its surrounded by trees and nature. It's a quick walk to the beach and local restaurants. It was perfect for my weekend getaway with my boyfriend. Didn't have the chance to meet John, but he kept great communication. Maridel greeted us when we arrived. She was really sweet and informative about spots to visit. I enjoyed hearing about the back story of the location. Hope to come back soon!

A very nice place with many great sleeping areas for a great price. So many thoughtful amenities . We really appreciated the many helpful labelings, instructions, and notes. Everything was very clean, and the location was superb. We highly recommend.

Really nice place to stay in town at SLO. Everything was perfect for us.

Ryan (And family) have truly thought of everything. Not only is their space sparkling clean, comfortable and safe, but you’ll want for nothing. They have side tables exactly where you’d want them. Place to charge your phone? Again, right by the bed where’d you want. Sleep warm at night? There’s already a fan set up at the foot of the bed. Sleep cool? Look to your left, a space heater is waiting. Need a local recommendation? The binder is stocked and in eye sight. Need a Doctor? Number is listed right by the door. My point is, if you’re looking for a no brainer welcoming space Ryan and Family have you covered. I highly recommend if you’re traveling from another country or really want to feel like you have you’re own space. The neighborhood is nice. Their dog is sweet and derpy. The pool is well maintained. I will be booking with them again for future visits.

Sarah and Anton’s place with its stellar reviews did not disappoint! We booked it knowing our toddler would have a great time and It was better than what we expected. He never wanted to leave. Sarah was even gracious enough to accommodate our last minute request for an early check-in. From the unique theme, thoughtful touches, the dedicated parking space, the hospitality, everything was much appreciated!

We wish we had time to stay for more than one night. We would have loved to enjoy the courtyard and firepit. The lifeguard tower was such a cool place to sleep.

The space was nice and super clean. Bed was comfy! Great views from the windows and very peaceful. So quiet and a nice change of pace. Nice clean place in a great area.

Melanie’s place is by far the best AirBnb I’ve stayed at to date. The setting is serene and peaceful, the studio and patio are beautifully decorated, and literally everything we wanted or needed was thoughtfully provided. We could truly relax and enjoy - and even found some new favorite places, thanks to the hosts’ recommendations. Comfy bed, thick, soft towels, a thoughtfully-stocked kitchenette, and even a hammock and space to hang out and enjoy the view on the private patio. Definitely our go-to for future trips to SLO!

This studio was perfect for us and our 10m baby for our vacation. There’s plenty of space for a pack n play and still plenty of room to move around. It is so close to everything and situated in the perfect little neighborhood in the foothills. The views of Bishop Peak are stunning and the patio is very relaxing. It was easy to drive less than 10 min to Cal Poly, grab a bite to eat, or go Downtown and it took only 20 min to get to Montaño de Oro state park. Melanie and her husband were very communicative and hospitable. We felt very comfortable spending time on their beautiful property. We would love to go back!

Amazing place & even more amazing hosts!

I loved my stay at Melanie's. The studio is absolutely gorgeous, with beautiful views. I loved its proximity to good food and coffee shops, hiking, and the city rolled into one. Melanie was a fantastic host, respectful, attentive and cared about her guests. The studio itself was sparkling clean. Everything was in perfect order. I would not hesitate to recommend the studio to anyone, and would stay with her again when I'm back in the area.

If we could have given this place 6 stars we would have. It is one of the most lush Airbnb’s available. So much love and detail has been put into this place and it truly feels like home away from home

Pauline's place is great! Perfect for one person or a couple. The yard is beautiful. There's surprisingly a full service kitchen in this small place! A great fridge, gas range/oven, utensils/cooking equipment, and a very nice sink. I didn't cook while I was in SLO but you could cook whatever you want here. The bed was also very comfortable! I never met Pauline in person, but the place is great :) Very clean.

I graduated from cal poly a couple years ago and was doing a spur of the moment trip back! This was a GREAT place to stay. Downtown is walking distance as well as the campus. I love running and it was the perfect place to do some of my old runs. This neighborhood is so friendly and the hosts are amazing! I was very impressed to see a binder of things for people to do while they are visiting along with samples of menus from local restaurants! Will definitely try to stay here again next time I visit!

This is a well-placed little house in the backyard. Nothing special, but just feels good. Comfortable bed, large kitchen, trees, and couple of blocks from the Fremont Theater. The guidebook was an absolute delight, with well-seasoned comments on everything and everywhere. Even if you don't need it, read it!

Great communication and the host is accommodating. We appreciated that. There were super nice touches that made us feel very included in the Airbnb community such as a wall of photos of previous guests and a map that let us know where they all were from if they opted in to participate! That was amazing and the projector for watching movies from bed was a wonderful touch. We really truly loved our stay and would return in the future. The only possible improvement would be a nicer mattress. Otherwise, I don’t think I can get any better than this for such a small yet welcoming space! Thank you again!

Even if you do n’t see the host, you can always feel his enthusiasm. The surprises he brings you, such as toys and cards, such as a projector, such as a camera, you seem to have come to the old friend's house, Free and comfortable, there are not so many constraints, but there will be dog barking when walking downstairs, it is shocking.

I cannot recommend this listing enough! Unfortunately I only stayed here one night, arriving late, leaving early! I should’ve stayed longer! The house is immaculate and spacious. Parking is safe and easy! The beds and bathroom are lovely and clean and it’s rare to find amenities like washer/dryer in West coast. The hosts are lovely! Really nice to chat to and really really care about their guests! The town itself is well worth a visit, perfectly placed for a road trip from SF to LA, lovely restaurants, coffee shops and bars! Easily a town I could hang around in for a few days enjoying the mid Cal lifestyle.

John and Maridel were the best hosts. Not only did they give us great suggestions on things to do and places to visit before we even got there, but they even accommodated our requests to check in early as we have a small child who takes an early afternoon nap. When we got there, they greeted us in person, walked us around the place and made ya feel so at home. It felt like we were staying with family, not strangers. Will definitely come stay here again If we are ever back in SLO, for the hospitality alone.

Excellent location within walking distance to Downtown San Luis Obispo! Fantastic hospitality - the friendliest hosts I’ve experienced at an Airbnb (Thank you very much John and Maridel!) They offered many suggestions of things to do and places to eat, as well as a lot of history about the area and the home! Very comfortable beds! Beautiful back yard! It is attached to main house, but has a separate entrance and complete privacy. Very clean! Some nice extra touches like tangerines and coffee! Only thing lacking was a sofa. There were 2 director type chairs in the living room area. One bed was in this main living area and the other in a separate bedroom. It was perfect for our needs (girls’ getaway), and would be great for a family, but might be a little awkward for 2 couples.

John and Maridel were the most welcoming hosts! We were welcomed upon arrival and they were so helpful with suggestions. A wonderful couple.

We were touring the west coast of America as a group of 4 and stayed at John’s place for one night. It was a fantastic base for exploring San Luis Obispo town. The beds were extremely comfy, the kitchen was very well equipped, parking easy and great hosts. Plus if you love dogs, Maggie the Lab is extremely friendly & fun.

I and my wife enjoy staying, the couple of the host are very nice and friendly, house is very clean and comfortable, everything’s is completed, environment is safe and beautiful, location is convenience to find anything needed. We have good memory during our trip stay there.

I was traveling from San Francisco to LA and stopping at SLO for a night to visit my daughter who is going to Cal poly. This location is close to downtown, and was ideal for what I needed, which was a clean and comfortable place to stay for one night visit.

Avenue is situated perfectly near the town center - easy walk. Good value!

Elaine's place is perfect, the cleanliness, the location, the space. It is exactly as pictured, a lovely studio above a garage. Tons of windows looking into trees, nicely decorated, and kitchenette just big enough to make coffee and cook breakfast in the morning. There are tons of tips and suggestions and downtown is walking distance. I would definitely stay here again if I returned to SLO for a visit. Perfect little retreat.

Elaine and Dan's place is great! We loved that downtown was a mere 15 minute walk away, perfect if you want to check out the Thursday night market. We also enjoyed the quietness of the neighborhood. They were quick to respond and kept the place really clean. We also liked that the kitchen, though it was just a fridge and sink, had knives, bowls, etc. for us if we needed them. Wouldn't highly recommend!

This place was in a safe and quiet location. Check in was easy. Bedroom and bathroom were clean. Bed had a comfy memory foam padding which made my sleep quality great! The nice thing is that the airbnb is separated from the host so you get your own privacy if there isn't anyone staying in the other room.

She even provided some complimentary treats for us and made sure we had everything for our perfect little getaway. Extremely great experience staying here. Communicating with Kimberly she was professional and positive from the time booked to after departure. The apartment is very very clean hip and has all the amenities. Including an expresso machine and goodies in the fridge!! The bed is super comfy and the couch a big plus! We really enjoyed the patio area! So nice, my son goes to Cal-Poly and he enjoyed studying there and I enjoyed the twinkle lights at night. We walked downtown several times or took a Lyft around town! Kimberly left us a surprise Valentine -chocolates, a great personal touch to our arrival! They were yummy!! We will be booking this spot again!! Best Air B and B experience yet!

We absolutely loved Jessy's place. The space is private with a beautiful view of Irish Hills. A walking path is very close to their house. Unfortunately the path was too muddy due to heavy rains SLO was experiencing, but with a covered deck we could still sit outside and enjoy the view. Jessy was very accommodating when we had to change our plans twice because of Covid19. Thanks Jessy for a great stay.

This was truly the perfect stop as I made my way south on the Pacific Coast Highway. Great proximity to some challenging hiking trails and the space is breathtaking. Definitely stay here if you can!

Outstanding space. Spotless, super comfortable, stylish, functional, private, quiet, fabulous location centrally located. We drove south to Avila and north to Cal Poly to visit our son/go out to dinner downtown SLO and we were ideally suited for everything, including to/from airport. Bonus was the nearby hiking trail at Irish Hills right around the corner. Gorgeous views of Morro Bay from the top. Backyard outdoor space is peaceful. Loved reading on the patio overlooking the hillside listening to the birds. Have been up to SLO a few times to visit our son and this was our favorite stay. We hope to be back and highly recommend!

Jessy’s place checks all the boxes. From the detailed check in instructions, to the little thoughtful touches - you can tell she knows how to make her AIRBNB listing stand out among the rest. The location was amazing - away from the hustle and bustle of downtown yet only minutes away. Beautiful backyard views, life sized Jenga, a big comfy couch, and automatic lighting adorn the outdoor area. Once you check in - you realize how perfectly equipped the space is. A very comfortable bed, robes / slippers, seating area, lots of desk space, and a big TV. A map on the wall above the bed allows guests to pin their hometown - and it’s fun to see how far some have traveled to stay at their place. I’d happily book this location again.

This is a great space. It was exactly what we needed and I got to take a lovely walk to the Back Bay Cafe for breakfast.

Sharon and Tirso were great hosts. Very laid back and chill. When staying in the shed/tiny house in back I still had access to use the kitchen and bathroom . The little heater works perfect. I slept like a baby and so did my dogs.

Peter was very nice and came outside to greet me when I arrived. I could see he put a lot of effort to making the room look nice! The room was very stylish and had a modern looking bathroom. I was also impressed by the room having a small refrigerator, microwave oven, coffeemaker, bottled waters and granola bars!

Peter's place was very comfy. After a long day of hiking and other activities, it was relaxing to come back to such a quiet place.

Perfect space for two people, quick responses from Rick and Coleen, easy check in and check out, and short Uber to downtown SLO. Rick and Coleen have made this a very homey and welcoming space with very thoughtful touches throughout. We did quite a few items on their list of recommendations (including the Patricia trail which we would definitely suggest!). Very clean, soft towels, comfy bed. Everything you could want in an Airbnb. Will stay here again when we return!

This place is very ideal and was our second stay. We are Poly alumni that love coming back to this amazing city and the Clover studio is everything we need.

Mike and Laura’s historic home was lovely and special. The location was very central to downtown and to Cal Poly. We were also welcomed with a nice bottle of Paso Robles wine to enjoy. They were very responsive to any questions we had. I hope to stay there again in the future.

Laura & Mike's place was the best! The mattress was unbelievably comfortable, everything was very clean, bathroom was quite large, and the bottle of wine left for us was an amazing touch. The location is a few blocks from the center of town, which is a quick walk and nice at night that it is not too loud. I would stay again in a heartbeat!

Great location which is just 5-10 minutes from town by foot. Beautiful area for hiking and coastal access easily and quickly reachable by car. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Each time we have stayed here we have been pleased. Carrie is easy to contact and quick to respond. The studio is clean, comfortable, and close to downtown. We would happily stay here again.

Carrie’s home has amazing reviews and it should. This is a hidden gem in San Luis Obispo. It’s like a vacation on vacation! Her artfully decorated space and wonderful hospitality made it that much better. The studio apartment truly has everything thing you need. Clean linens and towels weekly was a very helpful addition. I stayed at Carrie’s for an extended time and was terribly sad it leave. She really makes it feel like home away from home. Comfy bed, updated appliances, clean bathroom, tv, wifi, everything you could need and some more!

Exceeded expectations! I liked Jean’s thoughtfulness about everything and such perfect cleanliness. This is a quiet place; great to get a good night’s sleep.

Jean’s place is quiet and centrally located. Bedroom and bathroom had all one could need, including snacks, water, information on local attractions, towels, soap, shampoo etc. Bed was very comfortable. Jean provided great suggestions on exploring the area, was welcoming and available but also allowed privacy. The highlight of my stay was definitely hanging out with her two dogs—super sweet girls!

Jean was a great host and gave us great recommendations, as well as complimentary wine tasting passes. House is clean and well located. Her pets were a bonus. Thanks for having us, Jean!

It’s difficult to give a review because I want to keep Anne & Tony’s to ourselves. This sweet place is a perfect getaway from busy urban living. Bike-rideable to downtown SLO, where things are always lively and innovative, the Amtrak station, and so much more. Anne & Tony are quick to answer questions and their place is so private, you can kinda pretend you live there for a weekend. We’ll be back, and this will be our 4th time.... enough said. ;-)

I would definitely recommend staying with Anne and Tony if you are planning on visiting SLO! Great value for the price, and 5-10 minutes to everything. The room looked exactly as pictured and had everything we possibly needed. Easy check-in/check-out and a very nice, clean and private space.

Extremely clean and the perfect size for two people on a weekend trip. Coffee, clean dishes, and a mini fridge were all provided. So much more enjoyable, and affordable, staying at this home than it would have been in a hotel. Definitely hope to come back!

We loved our stay at Anne and Tony’s. Added bonus: they have the cutest dog named Wiley! Prefect location (about a ~3 min drive to the main drag of SLO). We had an all-around great stay!

The space is immaculate, with a bed and coverings that are extremely comfortable. We visited Our daughter at Cal Poly SLO and needed a place to just rest and refresh ourselves. This was the perfect spot, especially since we don’t usually spend a lot of time hanging around during our visits. It was so nice to return after a busy day of visiting and just lay our head down in a beautiful, private, and comfortable setting. Thank you, Anne and Tony for your hospitality.

My stay with Roxanne and Jon was great! I enjoyed the convenience of having various amenities in the room (fridge, Keurig) which was spacious and accommodating. The location is great, 10-15 minutes from various hiking and downtown SLO.

It’s a clean spacious room with amenities such as coffee, tea and toiletries (if needed). The neighborhood is beautiful and close to downtown SLO. Jonathan and Roxanne are very gracious hosts. I will definitely stay with them again next time I’m in SLO.

The room and guest bathroom were sparkling clean and perfect for my stay. Roxy responded quickly to all my messages and was a great host.

“Hidden Gem” doesn’t cover it. This is a fantastic escape in a town most people would call a fantastic escape. This beautifully appointed, deceivingly spacious cottage immediately feels like home and it’s hard to tell if that’s because of the gorgeous garden porch, the efficiently used space or the welcoming host. Either way, this home is a destination spot. It’s prime location makes it walkable to Downtown, the Railroad District and Little Italy, while being far enough away to remain a tranquil respite when returning to it. Would I return? No. If I were you, I’d ask to stay. Indefinitely.

Ken and Sue's charming cottage was a great home for us on our travels up the coast. The cottage itself is beautiful, and they have lovingly crafted it themselves. The place is very well thought out, and the bed was really comfortable. Ken and Sue were wonderful hosts, they made us feel right at home and had some great tips on where to eat locally and what to check out on our travels up the coast. This is airbnb at its best - highly recommended!

Ken and Sue are a really pleasant couple to deal with. Very friendly and accommodating. The rental cottage is fully equipped and even included a toaster. The cottage is beautifully decorated and the patio is a wonderful place to sit and have a glass of wine. The location is within easy walking distance to a supermarket. The neighbourhood is a beautifully maintained historic neighbourhood which is well worth an evening walk. Would come back here in a heartbeat.

Simply wonderful. The space is sparkling clean, comfortable and cozy, not crowded. The kitchen is well-appointed and easy to work in, and the bed is amazing.

Thank you for a beautiful trip to SLO! We loved everything about the area and the space was spotless!!! Even without a car, we were able to get around the town! Our favorite thing was the bus stop at the corner, we love a good bus ride around a town. Would love to visit again....

Great place to stay during our road trip from LA to SF. We arrived late at night so didn’t get to explore SLO as much, but the check in process was very specific and communicated early, the Airbnb was perfect, very very clean and the shower was amazing ! Also provided a complimentary bottle of wine which was great. Definitely recommend.

Quick work trip to SLO and stayed here. This spot is perfect. Location, style, privacy, and comfort are all in the mix and I loved the stay. I was able to walk to my meeting downtown while also having peace and quiet in the evening. Also, the shower is beautiful!

What a remarkable space - warm and welcoming! The location is central to all the great places to eat and see - walk or take the bus - it’s delightfully convenient. The lemon trees are such a colorful sight - flowers are fragrant, succulents are pretty green! Inside the space is efficient and so comfortable. This is my “go to” place when I visit my grandchildren in SLO!

I wish I could give Pauline’s place 10 stars! We stayed here for a month and, out of the dozens of places that we've rented in the past ~20 years, this is one of the very best. The location is excellent. It’s about a mile from downtown in a quiet neighborhood near a beautiful large park (great for walking the doggo!). Vons is about 3 minutes away by car and Whole Foods is less than 10 minutes. The neighbors were very friendly and one even invited my husband to go mountain biking with him. The cottage itself is beautifully decorated with a layout that works well: an open living room/dining room/kitchen and then bedrooms on either side of the bath. There are so many thoughtful and elegant touches throughout the cottage; it felt like we were living in an interior design magazine. The bed in the master bedroom is very comfy (we didn't sleep in the guest room so can't comment on that one), the water pressure and temperature in the shower are great and we spent hours reading on the living room couch. The back patio deserves a special mention. We had several unseasonably warm days and were able to enjoy our coffee with views of the sun coming up over the hills in the mornings – it was heaven! There is a small rental cottage at the back of the property but we never had a problem with the renters. Also, Pauline thoughtfully put large curtains around the patio which can be drawn if you’d like to be outside on the patio but have privacy. The kitchen is well-stocked; we cooked at "home" on most nights. There’s a grill. Also, we had access to the washer and dryer, which were in the garage, just steps from the back door of the cottage. Parking was very easy, either in the driveway or on the street. Finally, Pauline was wonderful to work with – very responsive to texts and a lovely person overall. Also, a lot of places claim to be dog friendly but aren’t – there are a lot of rules, extra fees and you’re made to feel guilty for just having a dog with you. That was not the case here. We felt very welcome with our pup. Overall, an outstanding rental experience. A true gem!

Pauline and her place were fabulous. She was super responsive, her place is well located and charming. Everything has been updated beautifully, and the swing in the front yard is a magical touch. My friend and I enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra day. I highly recommend her place!

Pauline’s place was wonderful for our stay! A friend and I traveled with our two babies and the house had everything we needed, was laid out well and extremely clean and comfortable, and had nice outdoor space. I took advantage of the coffee on the porch swing suggestion one morning and was so glad I did! There was also a great Co-op grocery store right across the street that was perfect for some items we needed to cook dinner. I would absolutely stay here again next time I’m in town.

Beautiful place!

The serene views and expansive land make this such an amazing AirBnB experience -- especially when 10 minutes outside of Downtown SLO. I traveled with my two kids, husband and dog and there was more than enough room / amenities to make us comfortable and happy. The outdoor space was so beautiful and the kids LOVED seeing the cows, horses and bunnies on the property.

Second stay with Susie and Jay and it was every bit as spectacular as the first time!

The pictures are never going to do justice to the amazing views from this house. My wife and I loved the fact that there is no tv in the house and it really created margin for us to "just be." It was a working vacation for us so we had some meetings but our time at this house was amazing. It's a great place to just go and stay, pack in the groceries and not leave for like a week or two.

Susie and Jay's guest home is spectacular. Every little detail was thought through. As guests, we felt at home. The views are amazing, the kitchen was fully stocked (pots, pans, soap, utensils, etc!), the towels were all there, the parking was easy (driveway), and more. I can't rave enough about their place! We're already talking about going back later this year. Their location is fantastic! Their spot is a mile up a hill, which affords beautiful sunrise views of the valley below, but it's also so close to town (a 10-minute drive)! Additionally, we spent a lot of time outdoors at Bishop Peak, which is just an 8-minute drive away! You get the city when you want it, you get outdoor hiking when you want it, and you get relaxed, quiet serenity when you want it. This place has it all. We stayed here with our two pups and all 4-living beings loved it. I'm sure we'll be back soon!

Susie and Jay have a thoughtfully furnished guesthouse with a gorgeous view and located less than ten minutes from downtown SLO. As someone from Los Angeles, I appreciated seeing the stars with no light pollution in the sky. We'd love to come back for a longer visit next time!
