  • Everyone should have the chance to meet Ivan once in their lives. A very special and unique experince, that we couldn't have found any other place. The ceremonies were amazing and we really connected with Pachamama during our time with Ivan. We learned a lot about the culture and nature which we are so grateful for. Ivan has become not only our tour guide but also our friend :)

  • Lovely place, perfect for two in a brilliant location. We stayed during a big storm but were wonderfully warm and cozy. The space is spotless, lovely furnishings and Barbara is such a nice lady, really helpful - I can’t rate her or her property highly enough

    Clare2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • This experience with Ivan was so wonderful! Right away I could see that Ivan had a big heart and was passionate about sharing his gift of connecting with nature. We drove to a small village and hiked for about 20 minutes to a hidden ruins that I would have never seems without Ivan. We decided to add on the cacao ceremony which was so unique and special. I felt very connected to mother nature this day thanks to Ivan's ability to share his gifts. Thank you Ivan!

In the lounge area, we have a gas fire in a large inglenook fireplace which makes a great setting for cosy nights in. There are plenty of blankets and cushions for snuggling up and there is also central heating throughout the home. The lounge area also has a fold out sofa bed. In the large open plan kitchen area is a large acacia table great for entertaining, a large American fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, gas oven, gas hobs and electric grill and a brand new washing machine. The Master bedroom is to be found through a small corridor off the Lounge area. The ensuite has a massage shower with settings to sooth your back and feet after a long day walking. Upstairs you will find the second bedroom and bathroom, the bedroom can currently sleep 3 people, two very sturdy single beds and one fold out steel frame bed ideally for children but I have slept on it myself. The bathroom has a bath, toilet and sink, it is large and great for bathing children. Please be aware that the upstairs space has low ceilings. Outside - We have parking for approximately 3/4 cars, and a large tiered garden to the rear with nice views. This area is secluded and is great for BBQ's and sunbathing, as it is a real sun-trap! Beautiful setting on the Llyn peninsular. Close to all amenities. Great for walking, sight seeing and exploring. The popular Ship Inn restaurant is next door to the property, also a local butchers and shop in the village. Nearby is Nefyn golf course and the stunning Porthdinllaen beach, the perfect setting for the popular Ty Coch Inn (approx 1 mile walk from the property, across a field and the golf course). • The property was exactly as advertised,, I stayed with 5 friends and it was a perfect rural retreat a close walk to the beach. The property is probably more suited to family’s as two beds were camp beds, however for a short stay it was still fantastic!

This recently renovated Welsh cottage with original features, modern appliances and cosy woodburner is situated above the village of Garndolbenmaen, near Porthmadog. This is a perfect, romantic retreat for two situated along a quiet lane with stunning panoramic westerly views over Cardigan Bay and the Llyn peninsula. The cottage is well-placed to explore Snowdon (30 minutes away), the Llyn peninsula (right in front of you) and the quiet coves and beaches of Anglesey (30 minutes away).
Characterful 200 year old Welsh stone cottage, lovingly renovated to a high standard. Situated along a quiet track with plenty of off-road parking and secure bike storage. There are lots of great places to eat nearby: The Goat Inn is 1.5 miles away, The Golden Fleece Inn and The Square Restaurant are 5 miles away, to name a few. Check out the Guidebook for more information. Please note that our local pub in the village has now closed.
The property is 600ft above sea level in a quiet, rural location with farms and buildings scattered across the hillside. Sheep and cattle graze in fields around the cottage and dog-walkers and horse riders use the track in front of the property. There are many tracks and paths in the immediate neighbourhood, each with a fabulous view over the Llyn peninsula and the Welsh coastline as far as mid Wales. The Royal Town and World Heritage Site of Caernarfon is 15 miles north and the famous gardens at Portmeirion (and annual Festival in September) are 10 miles away in the other direction. For empty beaches and stunning scenery, head west into the Llyn peninsula and lose yourselves in the ancient landscape and mysterious atmosphere of this unspoilt and rugged part of the British Isles. Ask about local pubs and restaurants or see the information in the Guidebook for latest recommendations!

  • My husband and I, with our 2 dogs, stayed for 2 nights during Storm Dennis. This was a lovely property, tastefully decorated, clean and spotless. We felt very cosy and safe while the storm raged outside. The yard was gated and safe to let the dogs roam for a last wee before bed. Sharon and her husband were very friendly and helpful and responded quickly to any messages I sent. There were some lovely personal touches in the house and a few necessities in the fridge for us. Pwllheli town was about a 3 minute walk downhill. The Mitre pub was dog friendly and full of friendly local characters. The station cafe served a cracking breakfast with free bowls of sausages for the pups. The beach was about a 15 minute walk; clean, sandy, very long and great for dog walks (not sure if they are allowed on in summer though). We would definitely stay again.

    Sally2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Unfortunately I didn’t get to visit due to unforeseen circumstances, but Sharon was kind enough to allow my son and his girlfriend take my place at late notice. They had a lovely evening and really enjoyed their stay. They had everything they needed. Really easy communication throughout. Would recommend.

  • It's a lovely property with a wonderful view. The sea is literally just across a quiet road. We were 6 of us during Christmas and had a lovely time in the living room with music and view. The house is tastefully done, with ample space for 6 people. Kitchen was well equipped as we cooked all our breakfasts & Christmas dinner. The house is also very close to a local ASDA that made things easier for us. There was a really good bustling pub in just 5 minutes. The house gives you an overall feeling of all you need- a quiet stay with sea view yet amenities & pubs close by.

  • Lovely property with an awesome view of the sea. We stayed off season visiting friends and so didn't spend much time at the property, but it was a nice space, warm, well located for the beach and with an excellent bath.

  • Just what we needed, a comfy self contained space close to the sea front. There was butter, eggs, bread, coffee / tea and a birdie if rose which was a nice touch after arriving from our long (very scenic) journey. Suburb area with shops 15 minutes walk away. Lovely conveniences in the space and very tidy and clean! Easy access to the beach just behind a row of houses. Marilyn always responded promptly. Would visit again!

  • The studio is very clean and comfortable holiday accommodation, well cared for by the hosts. We had good night's sleep whilst we stayed there! Everything we needed for our stay was available including a variety of provisions for breakfast and a few extra treats as well. A fantastic location, just over the sand dunes from the beach and the sea, and a great base to explore the Llyn peninsula. The hosts were available on arrival to make sure we had everything we needed and to answer any questions. We highly recommend a stay.

  • A lovely home from home, very clean and close to the beach. Had everything that you would need from a self-catering annex. Very friendly hosts whom look after their property well and try to provide you with everything that you would need from a stay away from home. Hope to stay in this wonderful annex again.

  • Sheila’s holiday home was a beautiful and even better than we expected. The home was nicely heated on arrival and the hot tub was ready for us to get into! The home is modern and spacious and was perfect for the two of us. The location is perfect, wasn’t too far away from any of the costal towns. We had a great weekend and would highly recommend going to this Holiday Home! Thanks Sheila!

    Laura2019-12-16T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing location and really clean property. Very useful having the map in the utility with business cards of taxis, restaurants etc. The book provided had details of good restaurants and things to do. Hot tub was perfect and very grateful it was already heated when we got there. Very spacious apartment and very clean. I loved reading the guest book to see where others had visited from. Only recommendation would be to have more heaters in the house. The living room was quite cold even when we turned up the thermostat. Thank you for being a great host Sheila :)

Willerby top of the range holiday home available to hire on Haulfryn's exclusive 5* Gimblet Rock holiday park. Morning coffee on the patio doesn't get much better. Sit yourself down and enjoy the views across Cardigan Bay to Snowdonia National Park while watching the dolphins* swim by. It's not a bad start to the day. *Sadly dolphins can't be guaranteed
Our holiday home at Gimblet Rock, Pwllheli is the perfect place to relax and take time out and if you like sea views they don’t come much better with an uninterrupted vista across Cardigan bay without moving from the sofa (so that’s the rainy day activity sorted). Pwllheli Marina couldn’t be closer so if there’s nothing else going on sit and observe the boats coming and going from one of the finest yachting facilities in western Britain. The accommodation is perfectly laid out to enjoy the breath-taking views whatever the weather. On sunny days sit out on the deck and cook and eat alfresco, sadly as we can’t book the weather you can be toasty warm in the centrally heated holiday home enjoying the sea views from the lounge, kitchen and dining areas when the weather is less favourable. The holiday home is fully equipped to be a home from home with full size cooker, dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer and washing machine. Away from the main living area you’ll find a double bedroom, two twin bedrooms, a bathroom with a full-size shower/WC and a further separate WC. This holiday home and its views make full use of the living space so please note that the double and two twin bedrooms are not vast but all provide storage/wardrobes, perfect for a family get away. (Since the pictures were uploaded the sea wall has had a glass screen fitted to provide some protection from the occasional storm. It also has the added benefit of providing a safety barrier between the deck and the drop on the other side)
Once you’ve dragged yourself away from the sea view, walk out of the park and you’ll find yourself on the blue flag ‘South beach’ and if you like a walk you can take yourself the 3 miles along the beach which is part of the 81 miles of the Llyn Peninsula coastal walk to Llanbedrog, or a few miles further will bring you to the popular destination of Abersoch. Alternatively, a short walk from the park along the beach will take you to the promenade and an easy walk into Pwllheli town where you’ll find a small amusement park, supermarkets, restaurants, coffeeshops and the fish and chip shop. Two shops definitely worth a visit are Pysgod Llyn, the local fishmonger who sells an amazing selection of fresh fish with it’s in-house deli and it’s definitely worth a visit to the local Spar, it’s like no spar you would’ve gone to before with freshly squeezed juice, 28 day hung beef cut on site and fresh lobster! Take a walk through the town and you'll find a lovely selection of independent shops to suit all tastes. Market day in the square is Wednesdays and Sundays throughout the summer. Everything on the Llyn Pennisular is easily accessible from the unofficial capital Pwllheli. It’s just 7 miles by car to Abersoch and just a 20-minute drive to Morfa Nefyn on the North side where you’ll find “Plas Coch”, officially one of the top 10 beach bars in the world, or head towards Aberdaron to go to the beach that literally whistles as you walk. Gimblet Rock doesn’t just give you access to the most beautiful coastline and beaches you’ll also find it a great location to access Snowdonia National Park and destinations such as Zipworld or Surf Snowdonia to name just a few.
  • I saw the photos of this place and thought, yes, I want to be here, close to the sea so we can look out at it from a nice warm room. preferably with a cup of tea or something stronger in our hands. I was delighted when we got to the holiday home on a dark December evening to hear the sea as we got out of the car. Then we went to the end of the patio and looked over the perspex wall and there was the sea- just like in the photos. We loved using the on-site free facilities (the compact gym and swimming pool), walking into Pwllheli for shopping and food, and enjoying watching the extra big waves splash the perspex wall at the end of the patio. Thanks Lorraine for a lovely holiday!

    Vicki2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • Clean , modern stylish Chalet in a gret location to explore the coast. The hostess thought of everythig you could need on a family break away. The view from the chalet is breathtaking and makes you relax and enjoy the holiday instantly.

    Tina2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect stay, lovely comfy place, Lorraine was so helpful and the sea view topped everything off!

    Hazel2019-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • The perfect place to get away from it all. Yet within east reach of a town with shops/restaurants etc. The pool and gym are great, and the staff on site are lovely. There was everything you could possibly need in the chalet. The photos really do not do this place justice, it is lovely on the photos and even better once you are there. The view is something else, if i could bottle it up I would. We will definitely be back to gimblet rock. Thankyou for letting us stay. :) X

    Sarah2019-10-05T00:00:00Z
  • Great location. Beautiful views. Clean and comfortable. Lots of little touches that make a holiday easier - games, Tupperware and the like!

    Gill2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • This is a really special place and the host is definitely a super host. The description of the place is highly accurate, and the holiday home was exactly as described. The views are absolutely spectacular and you can see Snowdon on most days. The caravan is furnished to a very high standard and there are lots of lovely touches everywhere. The host must be a perfectionist, as we found everything was perfect. Any queries we had before we arrived and after, were promptly dealt with. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble. We had a relaxing week, and even though the weather wasn't always perfect, the heated swimming pool was always there when we couldn't go to the beach. Llanbedrog beach is an absolute gem. The staff at reception were also very friendly and helpful, even though we didn't book with them ( obviously a private booking through Airbnb). The outside space at the caravan is more than you could ask for, loungers, outside sofas , outside dining set and gas barbecue. If you like seafood, there's a shack just outside the entrance to Gimblet Rock Park where you can buy a wide variety of seafood and take it home to cook or put on the BBQ. The kitchen is well stocked, so easy to cook. We'll definitely be going back! Thank you Lorraine for a superb week at Gimblet Rock!

  • Enjoyed a lovely stay with Mair and Dave. Excellent hospitality at their lovely cottage which is like a little oasis set in lovely gardens in a quiet spot - yet just a few minutes drive from Pwllheli and within walking distance of the beach. The room and en suite were very comfortable, clean, quiet, and private - lovely. And fantastic breakfasts beautifully presented.

  • Travellers to Mairs place can expect a warm and personal welcome, the very best breakfast you could wish for, and a really convenient location to explore from. From nice local walks, close proximity to beach's, close to Snowdown and a short walk to one of the best train rides in the country (hop on at Aberech, go to Barmouth). Not to mention their incredible garden which is great for little ones and adults too! Mair and Dave take a lot of pride in offering their guests a great stay, and really look after you.

  • We cant recommend Mair and Dave’s place highly enough. We’ve just returned home from a truly lovely 3 day break. As expected everywhere was sparkly clean. The photos didn’t quite do this lovely home justice, we felt, so we were pleasantly surprised. Mair certainly earns the title of ‘Super host’. Super-duper host we’d say! They couldn’t do enough for us and our dog Dylan. The location is perfect for exploring the beautiful Llay Peninsula. Lovely walks, sandy beaches, shopping and good food. We hope to return in the future. Thanks again for a memorable break x

Dolafon is a 3 bed holiday cottage in Pwllheli, North Wales, sleeping 4. It has plenty of character, but the benefit of a recent and high standard renovation. We have recently added a wood burner for extra coziness! The surrounding area has beautiful unspoilt beaches and Snowdonia National Park is near by. The nearest beach is a 5 minute walk away.
The cottage is located in a convenient and popular position a stone's throw to the beach, marina and town. The cottage is elevated from the road and enjoys a view down the river towards the marina from the front, as well as spectacular views over the harbour, Cardigan Bay and the mountains of Mid Wales from the back garden. The property has an open plan living/dining room with wood burner, large corner sofa and a dining table to seat 8, a newly fitted kitchen with washing machine/dryer, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, induction hob and Nespresso coffee machine, 2 single and 1 double bedroom (with kingsize bed) and a newly refurbished bathroom. Highchair, baby gate, changing mat, steriliser and baby plates/bowls and crockery all provided. There is a terraced rear garden with stunning views of the bay, the mountains and the marina. We have a large decked area with a picnic bench and lots of places to sit and enjoy the view, including an under cover area at the top to enjoy in all weathers. Please note the steps up to the deck are steep and uneven and not suitable for everyone, little ones would need to be supervised while going up but once up there the area is safe.
Pwllheli is a thriving market town and seaside resort situated on the south side of the Llyn Peninsula, close to Snowdonia National Park. The surrounding area is stunning, with beautiful, practically empty beaches. It's an excellent area for walking and sailing. Pwllheli has excellent amenities including a leisure centre, golf course and an award winning marina. We have added our favourite things to do/places to go to the listing.
  • Couldn’t recommend Melanie’s place enough. Exactly as described and sparkling clean upon arrival. Great amenities and a beautiful, comfortable home to relax in after long days walking on the coast and mountains. Abererch beach is only 100metres from the front door, and a massive Asda less than 10min walk away. Perfect location! I’ll definitely be back!

Highly recommend this property for staying in as it is a good base for exploring and also a beach just a five minute walk away. Just perfect, we have 2 young children and they love staying here. Thank you Mel and Dez for letting us stay again.

  • Highly recommended - great communication, lovely clean and tidy caravan with spacious living area and balcony, in a beautiful site with lots of facilities.

    Janet2019-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • We have stayed at Hafan y Mor many times as it is a lovely park with great beaches nearby and only an hour from home. This is definitely the best caravan we have ever stayed in on the park. Plenty of room for 2 families with a lovely outside seating area. Spotlessly clean and had everything you could need. Wasn’t expecting quilts and pillows to be provided but they were. Tracey was super responsive, we had 1 minor maintenance issue which we didn’t really expect to be fixed over the weekend, but was sorted within an hour. Perfect location right close to the revamped kids’ play area, seconds away from the mini market, sports dome and pub. Also, not too close to the next caravans which they sometimes are. All in all, a 10/10 stay for a family with kids. We’ll definitely try and stay here again next time we’re planning a trip! Thank you Tracey

Seascape is a large, airy second floor flat in a house by the sea on the edge of Pwllheli. The light is beautiful and the views across Cardigan Bay are stunning. It's on a quiet cul-de-sac that turns into the Coastal Path across the dunes just a few yards from the house. Perfect for walking, cycling, and enjoying the beach and the sea. Dogs are welcome and it's a dog-friendly beach. The town is an easy walk away, and there's a golf course and leisure centre close by.
The light, reflected off the sea, is wonderful, with dramatic sunsets. All the rooms are large, quiet and comfortable and you'll find everything you need for your stay.
Pwllheli is a charming town with all the facilities and shops you need for an enjoyable holiday. The mountains of Snowdonia are close, with magnificent views, zip wires and underground chambers where you can go trampolining. If you like history there are Bronze Age forts on all the hills and magnificent castles all around the coast. There's a sailing school, boat trips, Segway ... all sorts of adventures to be had.
  • Great apartment overlooking the sea. 2 double bedrooms (with additional single in one). Lounge very spacious and comfortable. Kitchen has everything you will need including dishwasher. Perfect location for all surrounding areas such as Abersoch and Criccieth. Everything provided including bed linen and towels. Really enjoyed our stay and Bella was super host.

  • Lovely view of the sea from this 3rd floor flat that’s spacious, clean, and has lots of amenities. We loved that the beach was right across the street. Great coastal walk to Llanbedrog and onto Abersoch starting right outside the front door. The WiFi is reliable. And it’s only an easy 10-15min. walk into town. Also, the Canolfan is only a 5min. walk. We can’t wait to stay here again!

Cwt Ci is a 17th century barn conversion that we completed in 2008. With underfloor heating throughout downstairs and a log burner in the lounge upstairs, its the perfect snug little cottage. Did we also mention the onsite hot tub and sauna? Nestled between the trees is our Scandinavian Spa. Please message us to book treatment in advanced.

  • Such a nice & relaxing place to stay - really nice hot tub and in a secluded area should you want a few days away from the rest of the world!

    Andrew2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Gorgeous little place. Has everything you need and close to great places like Porthmadog and Criccieth. Hot tub was a bonus on a really rainy day when we retreated back to the cottage.

  • “The Dog” cottage was absolutely perfect. From the quaint wooden beams to warming underfloor heating, everything is covered for a cosy stay in Wales. We also loved the spa. We both had full body massages and used the hot tub, which despite the horrible weather, was fantastic! We would highly recommend this beautiful cottage to anyone. The hosts were so attentive and responded so quickly to any of our needs. We also loved Jax! Gorgeous dog!

  • Lovely little cottage, great host and the hot tub was a lovely extra too.

    Gabby2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at the Dog House cottage and loved every minute of it! Immaculately kept with exceptionally welcoming hosts, we spent our time in the hot tub, exploring the huge range of castles in North Wales or curled up in front of the fire place. The Cottage itself is cozy yet spacious, easy to warm up with the log fire place and with a comfortable bedroom with en-suite modern bathroom. It is a short walk over to the hot tub but there are changing rooms in the spa if you don’t fancy doing the walk in swim wear. Jax the dog is very friendly and roams the farm looking for friends! We can recommend it enough and look forward to staying again.

  • We had a great weekend at Llinos's place. The kitchen was well-stocked with utensils and appliances, the bathroom was spacious and the top-floor bedroom was extremely comfortable. The location was very central, close to the beach, the shops, the cafes and restaurants. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches everywhere in the house, be it Christmas sweets by the table or pretty scented candles in the bathroom or bright blue decor spread throughout. Communication with the hosts was seamless and they took the efforts to tell us all about the things to do and places to go to when welcoming us into the house. All in all, very relaxing, comfortable and enjoyable stay, would definitely stay here again if back in Pwllheli! :)

The house was spotlessly clean and tidy and very well located for the local amenities in Pwllheli including the railway station and supermarkets. We really enjoyed our stay and Llinos' place is a great base for exploring the Llyn peninsula and the Ceredigion coast. Would definitely recommend and book again.

  • A great place to stay, with excellent local amenities, only 5 minutes away. The house is very comfortable. The location is quiet, with 4g coverage. We use Vodafone. The car park is secure, and only £2 per day. There is a local market on Sundays and Wednesdays. Llinos's place is highly recommended. Access to the peninsula is also excellent. We went round the pensula a bit, and really enjoyed it

    Steve2019-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great few days in Llinos' lovely little cottage. It was spotlessly clean, quiet, cosy, well-equipped and was a perfect base for investigating and discovering the Llyn peninsula. The gift of Welsh cakes and milk in the fridge were a lovely touch - thanks Llinos! Parking is just in front of the cottages and is pay and display from 10am-4.30 (£2 for all day so bring coins!) There's an Asda nearby and a footpath takes you the short walk into town & the shops. Lots of lovely beaches are a short drive away and some great walking on the coastal path.

Comfortable dog friendly retreat in peaceful surroundings, private use of garden with barbeque . Short drive from the beautiful north coast of the Lleyn Peninsula. Coastal path walks (we can offer a drop off/ pick up service). Golf at the famous Nefyn Club. Refreshments at the Ty Coch Inn, Porthdinllaen beach. Excellent food is served locally at The Lion Hotel or enjoy fish and chips in Aberdaron. We provide a microwave, fridge, china, glasses, cutlery, toaster, kettle, tea, coffee and milk.
The Retreat has every thing needed for a comfortable relaxing holiday. It has the look and feel of a beach hut. The beds are made ready for you and we provide towels, (but please bring your own beach towels). We don't provide cooking facilities apart from a microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge, china, cutlery and glasses. Enough for you to make a simple breakfast or supper. There is a barbecue for your use in the Garden. I am afraid that living in the country is not conducive to a good wifi signal or mobile coverage. We do get some but not very powerful.
We are in a quiet and peaceful area, our neighbors have a dressed crab and lobster business, well worth a visit. Pre ordering is recommended 01758 770397. At the start of our Lane is a unique milking parlour, fascinating to watch when the cows are milked,
  • Beautiful cabin and fantastic scenic location. The hosts are brilliant and included some thoughtful little touches in the cabin. We booked this cabin for our anniversary weekend away; on arrival we received a card and some chocolates from Jane and John, which was really lovely. We really enjoyed our stay here in the tranquil countryside and hope to go back again. Thanks for having us!

  • Janes place is lovely. Jane and her husband were very welcoming upon arrival and departure and although they live just across the way you didn't feel as though you were being 'watched'. They left a lovely little care package with milk, bread, fruit and butter which was so helpful and the place was so cosy, warm and even had the heated blanket on the bed. There isn't anywhere walking distance from the house so bear this in mind if you like to have a couple of drinks in an evening but other than that it was fantastic. Beautiful house, location and a welcoming host. Would recommend, very peaceful and excellent value for money.

  • The retreat is a lovely, cosy space to call home for our weekend stay. Jane met us outside when we parked up and gave us a little tour of the “beach hut”. It was lovely and cosy and Jane had put the electric blankets on our beds! There was a basket of goodies, and a vase of fresh flowers - lovely little touches. During the night there was colossal rainfall. Early in the morning john was out with his shovel ensuring everything was kept dry. Unfortunately, the rain had washed a large amount of gravel into the lane which meant I would have been unable to get out to the photography course I had booked. John came to the rescue and gave me a lift in his 4 x4 and picked me up later which was above and beyond. He also gave my parents a lift down and told them a circular walk they could do. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet weekend away from it all.

  • It’s the second time we’ve stayed here and it was just as great as before! Jane and John are superb hosts and the retreat is so warm and cosy. Comfy beds, super shower, flowers and a welcome bag of breakfast goodies (plus bowls for our dog) make you feel right at home. The perfect place to escape and relax in a beautiful setting. Can’t wait to return!

Just minutes walk from the beautiful beach at Porthdinllaen. A National Trust site famed for it's natural beauty, sandy beaches and stunning cliff walks; it is not surprising Morfa Nefyn attracts many to return year after year. The Beach Retreat is close to a popular golf course, with a short cliff walk leading down to the historical Ty Coch Pub.

This traditional 1830's Welsh cottage is located opposite the award winning Pwllheli Hafan Marina, Pwllheli Sailing Academy and is a short stroll to the stunning 3 mile long Abererch beach.
The cottage has been recently renovated throughout, offering comfortable accomodation which will suit seaside holidaymakers, sailing enthusiasts, golfers and walkers. Pwllheli town centre is a short walk away, with a choice of shops, pubs and restaurants. There is a major supermarket less that half a mile away and Pwllheli Sailing Club is a short stroll across the marina. To the best of our knowledge the cottage is the closest holiday accomodation to the marina and Pwllheli Sailing Club. The cottage has an enclosed sunny rear patio area with rattan table and chairs, and a large high level decked area with a further table, set of chairs and sun loungers. The second high level decking area has lovely views to the marina and to the Mid Wales mountains. The accommodation consists of an open plan lounge with light oak beamed ceiling, inglenook fireplace and a gas stove. There are two quality leather 2 seater settees, and flat screen colour television with both Freeview and Freesat, and a DVD player. The kitchen is modern and light with a Belfast sink, microwave, gas hob, electric oven, fridge with freezer compartment, and an electric toaster. The first floor has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other having two single beds. The bathroom has both a shower and bath. The cottage also has gas central heating throughout, which is included in the price.
The cottage is situated outside Pwllheli, but within an easy walk of the main town and shops.
  • Beautiful cottage and a great location, walking distance to town. Bus stop right outside with regular and punctual bus service. The roof terrace is a lovely space to enjoy the sun and to relax. Great kitchen with oven, microwave and a few essential condiments. A welcome gift of wine and flowers which was lovely. The shower has plentiful hot water and is powerful. We had a lovely week but I would like to point out that the stairs are quite steep which is expected, but there is no hand rail, my mum is 81 and as the bathroom is downstairs care is needed when using this during the night. You may also struggle if there are 4 of you as there is limited storage in the bedrooms. The road also gets busy but there was always ample parking.

  • Homely, clean, comfortable accommodation done to good high standard. Close to essential amenities and an excellent location for sightseeing in Snowdonia and beautiful Lleyn Peninsula. We would visit again.

  • We really enjoyed our stay in Mark's cottage. We stayed over Easter with a 1 year old. The cottage was well suited to our needs and in easy walking distance of the town centre, supermarket, marina and beaches. Would certainly recommend.

A great place to discover the whole of the stunning Llyn Peninsula. The fully fitted kitchen adjoins the large dining room giving a great space to relax and enjoy your evenings after your days activities.

  • My husband and I stayed here for two nights to attend a family party at The Nanhoren Hotel. The cottage had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. Pamela made us feel very welcome and even left some welshcakes and wine as a gift. Great location only 5-10 mins drive from some beautiful beaches. Great find and a comfortable stay.

  • Lovely accommodation in an idyllic setting. The house was well equipped and spotless. The views were amazing and there were stunning walks from the doorstep. I stayed here for a couple of days recharging with my dog and found it to be perfect for exploring the Llyn Peninsula and would love to visit again with my husband. The hosts were welcoming and attentive and Pam was prompt with replying to questions before I arrived. All mod cons with the peace of the countryside and the seaside on your doorstep. A winning combination.

  • We have just returned from a lovely few days away. The house is very well equipped and there were lots of thoughtful touches such as cake on arrival and milk in the fridge. Communication was easy with Pamela responding to messages very quickly. The perfect place for a peaceful get away with beautiful views and lovely walking opportunities.

  • If you want a gorgeous night place, that’s both relaxing and peaceful but only a stones throw from some beautiful scenery this is your place. Absolutely spotless place with a lovely touch of a chocolate cake on arrival. Would definitely stay again.
