  • We stayed four nights at Tesha’s cabin - very cozy and well appointed. Very traditional cabin feel - just perfect! The kitchen was terrific - (even though we did not cook while staying there). We skied at Killington & Okemo - and her cabin was super convenient to both. The bed was wonderfully comfortable- great mattress, soft linens and warm comforter. We would highly recommend Tesha’s cabin - you will not be disappointed.

  • This cabin is a gem. Super cozy, clean, and comfortable, with great access to ski resorts. Communication with Tesha was quick and easy. Would love to stay again when back in the area!

    Jonny2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Tesha has a great two bedroom cabin that is ideally situated on Rt. 100. The kitchen is well stocked with pots & pans, dishes, glassware and appliances. Everything functioned well. The living room had plenty of comfortable space- great for reading. The bathroom is small, but has a wonderful shower that appears to be new. Very enjoyable stay and it offered good value. We would consider using Tesha's place again.

  • Lovely, convenient little place! Exactly as described.

  • Cozy cabin with great location close to skiing. Tesha was great to work with. Will definitely look to book again in the future.

    Marty2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great spot for ski trips to Okemo and Killington. It was amazing to be able to bring our dog for a very reasonable pet fee. The only downside is that it’s on the main road so if your dog is not great on voice command it’s a bit challenging to play fetch. Other than that, it’s a wonderful and secluded spot, and the house itself is very well-appointed. The kitchen was super well stocked with everything you need to cook including salt / pepper / spices. Just a great place to cozy up and enjoy Vermont. We hope to be back soon!

    Rebecca2020-02-09T00:00:00Z

  • Great location, sparkling clean apartment. Great communication.

    Danial2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • The place is clean and near the ski resort. There are amazing restaurants nearby. Alex is a great skier and I had him for to days to coach me on what to improve w my ski skills. The room is the only place being rented and not the whole place so I have to find another place where it is more spacious as I couldn’t possibly just stay in the room after skiing. Thank you Alex for the ski lessons. I highly recommend Alex place without reservation if you are only looking for a room/bed after a day’s activities. Morie aka Liberty

Your accommodations are minutes from Rutland City, Killington & Pico, the Northeast's premier ski and golf resort. Hiking and mountain biking at Pine Hill Park is but a few minutes from the Benincasa Inn. Several nearby lakes provide spectacular kayaking and outdoor opportunities. A short drive from Rutland is the beautiful McLaughlin Falls, as well as other attractions like Wilson Castle in nearby Center Rutland.
Built around 1890 to 1900 the Benincasa Inn is a few minutes walk from historic downtown Rutland, VT.
The Benincasa Inn is located in the historic South West section of the City of Rutland. One of my neighbors has been living next door for the past 50 years. The street is comprised of single and two family dwellings. A well maintained public space know as "Meadow Street Park" is less than a 4 minute walk down the street. I have enjoyed this wonderful outdoor space since I was a child. And the most spectacular mountain biking and walking trails, such as "Santa's Little Helper" are waiting for you at Pine Hill Park about a mile away. Pine Hill Park is truly one of Rutland's finest gems.

  • This is a wonderful location on a lake with serene views. My stay was in winter and it was toasty, warm and relaxing. Although there is a road nearby, it was very quiet during our visit. The bedrooms are large and there's a very nice seating area on the second floor to gather, look at the lake and just chill out. We spent time in Woodstock and Quechee, not far at all. Checking in was handled perfectly and everything is very well maintained. We will be back!

  • Very cool & comfortable home in a perfect location for skiing.

    Scott2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • We had a GREAT stay at this awesome lake house! Nicholas, the host was very responsive to any questions and provided a backup phone number to the local caretaker in case of any issue. It's was super clean and well-appointed--coffee and tea, spices and cookware, nice linens and tons of towels for the soaker hot tub. The space is really nice with nest thermostat easy to control for comfort and a nice game room and lounge upstairs. It is close to Rte 100 which is a busy road, but the noise isn't noticeable in the cabin. It was a quick drive to Killington in the morning - about 16 minutes door-to-door to the Bear Mountain lot. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

  • This truly is the best of lake front living. We travelled for a ski weekend with our daughter and son in law. The house was very comfortable for the 4 of us. We loved the snowy lake view. Looking forward to retuning!

  • Nicholas was a great host, very responsive. The house is a perfect quite sanctuary on a pristine lake. We went in the winter so with the frozen lake and snowy surroundings, it really felt secluded. The hot tub is a great touch! Would love to stay again :)

  • Susan’s house blew away my expectations. Nestled in a secluded lake community, this place was home away from. Super cozy inside, the interior design is welcoming and thoughtful. If you happen to venture outside, the trails and the lake make for a real picturesque experience. Super glad I stumbled her place. Thanks again Susan!

  • Susan is such an amazing host and goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you will need for your stay, including a delicious cake when we arrived! The cabin in the woods is a beautiful, relaxing place and we hope to visit every year!!

  • This was a great cabin. Nice area to stay and a nice and private feeling for a getaway.

    Nick2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin in the woods is so cozy it was hard to leave! We had S’mores and good conversation by the fire pit a perfect getaway to end the season. This was my first time renting from Airbnb and Susan exceeded our expectations. She was so accommodating, from the fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms to the thoughtful labels everywhere it was very easy to find what we needed. Thank you Susan for a lovely stay we already miss it ❤️

    Nadia2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin in the woods was spectacular. It was as comfortable as being in your own home. Susan provided everything, and more, that we needed. There was plenty of room for all 4 of us and in an ideal location. We thoroughly enjoyed using the canoes and kayaks provided. Communication was superb. Would highly recommend.

    Linda2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • My family and I had a wonderful time staying at the cabin in the woods. We felt safe, secluded, and welcome in to Susan’s home. She communicated very well with us, even left us home made cookies. My whole family was impressed with the cabin and all the utensils/appliances that was there for our use. The fireplace was great to have and allowed us to unwind. We attended the Cornish fair and did some hiking while there. We didn’t get a chance to use the kayaks and canoes, but went to the beach where we met some nice neighbors! My family and I can’t wait to go back again!

The house itself has so many personal touches that we immediately fell in love with it. The house manager Justin was quickly available for any questions and was very helpful. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing weekend in Vermont. Do keep in mind there is no air conditioning so carry portable fans if possible as all rooms don’t have fans.

  • This house is at a great location, situated between Killington and Okemo resorts, and also close to Ludlow and Rutland. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. Cozy fireplace, hot tub, and large deck are icing on the cake. I needed to communicate with Rad a few times during my stay and he was very responsive, and so was the the local house manager.

    Brian2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Rad's place was exactly as advertised, it was the perfect location for me and my friends and I would recommend it to anyone who is going to the area with a big group.

    Gene2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Rad’s place was a great set up for 3 couples for the weekend! Plenty of space, and nice to have bathrooms on all 3 floors. About a 20-25 minute drive to Killington, but it was a good location! As stated in the description, the driveway is quite steep so one of the cars was not able to make it up, but if you have all wheel drive you should have no issues. Thanks for a great weekend getaway spot!

    Sarah2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Rad’s place is both centrally located to ski resorts and local attractions. As a big group of friends, the space was perfect for all of us to congregate, hang out, and enjoy each other’s company. Rad was very thorough in his pre check-in communication and it made the logistics of the trip a breeze so all we had to do was enjoy.

    Ryan2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Great place for big groups with a fun open dining/ living area. Close to killington for skiing and winter activities. Hot tub was a great touch for apres ski too:)

    Susan2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay! Beautiful and very clean house! It has very convenient location (it located in the quiet wooded neighborhood and very close to the attractions (ski, snowmobile). Outside Jacuzzi was amazing! Highly Recommended! Thank you!

    Andriy2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • We chose this house because of its proximity to Coolidge State Park, where we were attending a wedding. Fantastic house, extremely clean, everything we needed to enjoy a weekend and plenty of space to spread out. Rad was easy to get ahold of (by personal cell phone, which I prefer over Airbnb messaging), and he provides tons of info prior to check in about how the house functions and local things to do. Very enjoyable experience!

  • Erik and Eli are great hosts! It took us extra time to get there because of weather and having to work full days before we left, but Erik and Eli stayed up and waited for us to arrive. They even made us banana bread with walnuts and chocolate chips which was still warm when we got there! They were kind and provided great tips for local places to go and things to see. We would definitely stay here again!

    Emily2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Erik and Eli's home was a great place to stay close to Killington. The bed was very comfortable, the space felt private, and there were nice amenities like a coffee maker and mini fridge. I would stay again if I return to the area!

  • Such a great value! Only 10 minutes from Pico, it feels like an apartment all to yourself with a bedroom, bonus room and a private bathroom! Super clean and great hosts!

    Steven2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Great suite that is so conveniently located next to Killington.

    Carrie Ann2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Erik was very nice and gave great food tips. They where very quiet and felt like we had the house to our selves. No complaints but some people may be uncomfortable due to not having a door separating the entrance to the upstairs to the main floor other then a trifold partition. There are doors for the bathroom and bedroom though so you still do have your privacy, although I personality was fine with this I just thought I’d put it here for a FYI. I would stay here again :).

    Christopher2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Erik & Eli are the consummate hosts. Their space is lovely! They have coffee set up for your enjoyment. Plenty of space for belongs. Super comfy bed. They are quick to respond, have great tips for local restaurants, and are very thoughtful & personable. Highly recommend a stay here!

    AnnMarie2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • Close to Killington. Big, comfortable bed. Hands off but available hosts. Great stay

    Ezra2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • Erik & Eli were great! They messaged us to warn us about bad road conditions on the day of our arrival and were very welcoming when we arrived much later than expected due to the bad weather. The bed was the most comfortable bed we have slept on with Airbnb! The location to Killlington was perfect and Sugar & Sprice (the breakfast place Erik & Eli recommended) was amazing! If you are driving in the winter, you will definitely want a 4x4 vehicle as there is a steep hill you have to travel up on their road. But it's a cute little space and a beautiful area of Vermont.

  • We loved our stay at Matthew’s this past weekend. We had 6 people and a baby and the house was perfect. The view was gorgeous, the house was exactly as described, and the location was great.

  • Perfect ski house, situated between Okemo and Killington. All the amenities you could need for a Vermont weekend getaway.

    Kevin2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Great Host. House is perfct for a ski weekend get away. The beds are all very comfy. The house comes with all appliances to cook a nice dinner. The town lost power the first night and matt offered us a house down the block or a free night. He went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of.

    Jared2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Super awesome place in a really great location! We skied Killington both days, but could have easily done Okemo on one of the days. House is just what you're looking for in a rental; easy to access, great living space, large bedrooms upstairs, mudroom (to keep all the ski gear in). Matt was great to work with! Will keep this in mind for future trips!

    Abby2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • After a long trip up to Vermont, it was nice to arrive at a place that was very clean, well kept, and very homy. Matthew was incredibly communicative throughout the process and was easily accessible if needed. As we came during the winter months, the driveway was kept well plowed for us which was greatly appreciated. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an awesome place to stay in a beautiful place.

    Luke2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Matt was very prompt with communication. The house is between Okemo and Killington, which made it a perfect location for our ski trip. It was very clean, modern, comfortable and inviting. We will most definitely book again!

    Colby2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean and very convenient for skiing at Okemo. We would be happy to stay again.

The Moguls unit at Killington’s Brookside Manor is a freshly renovated home just 2 miles from Killington’s Skyeship Gondola. It is only 15 minutes from Killington’s main base area and 20 minutes to Okemo. If this listing isn’t available for your interested vacation dates, check out our sister listing for the Canyons Unit also on Airbnb at https://abnb.me/YtOksx2hoT
We designed this home to have everything you need for your mountain getaway. Watching a fire in the wood stove is personally my favorite channel but we also have cable, WiFi and a smart TV. The kitchen is fully stocked with basics for cooking and baking as well as small appliances and spices. Towels and soft linens are provided for your comfort.
We love the mountains and we live to ski and hike. The character of this building is truly unique. The previous owner poured his heart and soul (blood and tears) into this home. He designed, cut, milled and built this home himself with lumber from the property. This character, proximity to Skyeship and other activities in the area make this home our forever home. We are so excited to share these private units with vacationers!
  • Ideal location for Killington access. Kitchen was superb and the rooms very comfortable. Loved the wood stove especially - would look to book again for our next trip to the area, 10/10.

Do you enjoy Glamping? We are near Woodstock/Quechee and you’ll love us if you enjoy natural setting, rustic woods surrounded by old stone walls and a heavenly pond. Get out and explore the Upper Valley, returning to the cozy 1955 El Rey trailer or our 1947 Curtis Wright Airstream. We are experienced innkeepers from So Pasadena CA having managed The Bissell House Bed & Breakfast 15 years. Thanks to all who stayed with us last year. We are now closed for the season and will reopen May 14, 2020.
Looking for a warm and cozy space? Our vintage trailers are just the spot! Our 12 acre property is heavily wooded and late spring through fall are great times to enjoy the outdoors. Camping with a trailer is a fun experience. While we do not have a kitchen, our outdoor cook station has some basics for you. These include a 3 burner stove, BBQ grill and smoker, pans, utensils, olive oil and a communal mini fridge. Bring anything else that you want to add for your own comfort, such as cooler. You may want to bring flashlights and rain gear. There are many choices for dining in our area if you prefer to eat out. Our Curtis Wright is 72 years old and the El Rey is 64 years old. Please expect some vintage aspects, such as door handles, screens, windows, awnings etc. that function according to their age and we will be upgrading them periodically. These are not new modern trailers and we think that adds to the appeal! However they are clean and cozy! Your trailer is down by the pond, nearby is the large fire pit, composting outhouse, stove and BBQ grill. Our sweet wildlife pond is pristine, spring fed, and has an abundance of wildlife in and around it. You may even see the barred owls hunting for frogs at night. Both trailers are pondside, the El Rey is across from the Curtis Wright. Swimming is allowed, Please read the house rules regarding rinsing off prior to swimming and refraining from getting suntan oil etc. in the pond. We rent either the 1955 El Rey or our 1947 Curtis Wright Airstream. See our other listing for the second trailer. This listing is for the 1955 El Rey. This is our 1st year to offer the Curtis Wright Airstream, please see our other listing for it. It’s titled “Good Night Moon Vintage” Airstream Glamping. Nights can be chilly so be prepared with warm clothes. Please be aware of weather conditions as rain can impact your camping! That’s part of what makes it so fun to be inside a trailer instead of in a tent on the ground! However mud can be part of your experience outside the trailer. You are welcome to build a fire in the fire pit and toast marshmallows or grill....Kindling is plentiful around the grounds, however please purchase your wood locally for whatever you intend to use, or order from us. We do ask that you start your fire the old fashioned way and do NOT use gas, diesel etc. which will leech into the pond and harm our wildlife. We have charcoal bags and wood on site for sale usually, advance request is much appreciated and pay upon arrival by the bundle. Our wonderful resident bats do a great job at night clearing insects! Sit out by the pond and watch them arrive at dusk! Our Phoebe Flycatchers build their mud nests all over the property and have 2 baby bird hatchings usually by mid-summer. They help keep insects down as well. If it’s a clear night, the stars are usually amazing in the sky over the pond. We live up in the house and are available to you as much as you’d like! We prefer that you do contact us with your needs to ensure a great experience. We have a new composting toilet outhouse. For showers, guests can make the 5.7 mile drive down to Quechee State Park and pay a $4 day fee to use the solar showers which take quarters. We also have a freestanding shower enclosure that you may use with solar water bags that you will fill daily and heat when there is sun. It will take time so plan ahead. If it’s been cool or cloudy, the water will not be warm. This year 2020 we will be building our outdoor shower so stay tuned for photos when that is completed.
We are on a private road on a mountaintop so access is limited to just our guests and our neighbors. Wildlife abounds in the heavily wooded neighborhood. You might see deer, raptors, turkey, bear and occasionally moose as well as all sorts of birds, even Pileated Woodpeckers. Our Phoebe Flycatchers fledge near or in the summer kitchen each year. As a special treat, our Barred Owl fledglings were here every evening in July last year, you can still hear them at night sometimes well into the fall.
  • We had such a lovely time at El Rey! The airstream was super cozy and the fire pit was perfect.

  • We loved our stay in Juli and Jim's camper! The location is very beautiful and quiet, both Jim and Juli were lovely and provided lots of useful information about the area, and staying in a camper that was older than me was great fun and a unique experience. Highly recommended if you look for a place to get away from it all for a bit.

  • Juli and Jim were great hosts and went out of their way to greek our arrival, despite several complicated issues causing us to arrive several hours later than expected, well after 9PM, but Juli nevertheless greeted us and walked us through the paces to take the most advantages of their well appointed clamping opportunity. And, although their property is deep in the Vermont woods, with a beautiful set up clamping site, offering only two basic trailers for separate couples, very comfortable sleeping arrangements, with a seperate, protected, covered food prep area, with modest refrigerator storage for two couples and sufficient meal support for cooking for several days of clamping, plus a large, clean and pleasant electronically operated outhouse styled toilet, outfitted with appropriate toiletries, keeping within an "outdoor, deep in the Vermont woods", setting, and eitherJuli or Jim are very often, unobtrusively present, nearby on their property to address any clamping issues to make your clamping experience exceptional. Make no mistake, this is "deep woods" campsite, clamping experience, in a beautiful, rural setting, in the best sense.

  • I spent the weekend with a friend of mine at this lovely, relaxing and peaceful cottage. Although there wasn't quite enough snow for us to x-country ski, it just gave us more time to catch up sitting in the cozy living room by the fire. We cooked, talked and drank coffee looking at the beautiful view of the lake. Perfect place in every sense of the word! Thanks for sharing this special place with us, Alecia!

  • Beautiful lake side cottage.

    Parthiban2019-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • This is one of the best choices I've made so far. The location is perfect, at the end of a very quiet lake, with a wonderful area to take quiet walks, sit outside and just enjoy the view. Everything I could have wanted was available in every way. The kitchen was clean and had every appliance on hand to make whatever you wanted. There is plenty of room for large groups but, being on my own, it was also cozy. The area has something for everyone who loves the outdoors; biking, skiing, hiking, paddling, etc... This is a lovely time of year to visit Vermont. The colors were amazing! Thank you, Alecia, for a lovely week.

    Maria2019-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing stay at Alecia's place - the house is super cozy, occupied with everything you might need and had an amazing view! The place is fantastic - just next to the lake, in a very beautiful and calm area! there are a lot of activities available on the territory. I highly recommend it and hope to come again!

    Dmitry2019-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • Spotlessly clean cosy lakeside cabin. It is well equipped and in the most gorgeous setting!

    Kirsty2019-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • My friends and I wanted to have a weekend getaway before autumn really kicked in so we settled to stay at Alecia's beautiful cottage, choosing the 2-bedroom option. The place was immaculate and cozy and built to host guests with notes around the place that will most likely answer all your questions. If not, she's even got a manual handy too. The pictures really don't do the place justice either as we were amazed at all the amenities the place offered like its fully stocked kitchen. We originally planned to do some hiking but the screened-off patio was just too inviting, a great place to have meals and enjoy the view of the lake. And when the cool night came, we hung around the indoor fireplace. No complaints here! There were stores within ten minutes of the place so it was easy to shop too. We hit a snafu when it came to sharing beds as at the last minute we needed an extra bed. We just communicated it to the accommodating host, Alecia and paid an extra fee. She's a great host that has thoughtfully made the place incredibly comfortable for her guests. We definitely all had a great time getting away from the city and spending it in the cottage. We plan to be back at some point to enjoy Vermont again!

    Torrance2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • This cottage is beautiful. The pictures don’t do it justice. The view with the reflection off the lake. Morning coffee lakeside on the dock. Bonfire in the evening and grilling. Volleyball and ping pong. We honestly did not even need to leave the premises because it had all of the entertainment we needed.

    Jaskarin2019-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • This place awsome for big groups , friends or family . 6 bedrooms , ı countrd at least 5 bath rooms , two kitchen lots of pots , pans , dishes etc everything almost double . You should go to cottage before you buy anything . Spotless clean . Lots of games in the closet , lots of towels , soaps etc etc .Alecia thought double about everything you need. It surprised me to see lot of spices in cubbord . There is lot of good surprises. Only thing 2 of the bedrooms has like attendent can be issue for intimicy . LATE-WINTER DEAL - 25% OFF THRU May 3, 2020! Lake Rescue Chalet is a large, cozy vacation rental by Lake Rescue in So Vermont, and minutes from Okemo & Killington ski resorts. The house is 4 hours from NYC or 3 hours from Boston. This comfortable six-bedroom chalet has 3 boats on a private dock, 2 huge outdoor decks, 2 large-screen TVs, indoor & outdoor games, and a hot tub. With 6 bedrooms, 2 kitchens and 2 living/dining areas with fireplaces, there’s plenty of room for up to 16.
The two large decks will accommodate everyone with room to spare. The private dock on Lake Rescue, a 2-minute walk down a dirt road, has two kayaks and a canoe available for your use. In the yard, you can enjoy volleyball, horseshoes, corn hole, a hammock, even a fire pit! The house is just 3 miles from Okemo’s Jackson Gore area and 12 miles from Killington’s Skyeship. Other nearby ski mountains include Pico, Magic Mountain and Stratton. Lake Rescue Chalet sleeps 16 people on two levels that each feature full open-floor-plan living areas – including a kitchen/living/dining room – and three bedrooms apiece! It's a terrific home for families and friends who want to spend time together but also cherish their privacy. They relax in the hot tub, barbecue on the huge front deck, watch the great blue herons that live just over the ridge, play volleyball in the yard, roast marshmallows over the fire pit or just nap in a hammock in the woods. The only thing that beats taking a canoe out on a misty summer morning is screaming down a ski slope after a fresh snowfall. Four-Season Fun WINTER: The snow is thick and the winters are cold in winter in Vermont-- perfect for skiing, snowboarding, sledding, ice skating, snowmobiling or just building a snowman. There are nine ski areas within 40 miles. SPRING: Flowers burst into a jumble of audacious color in May, and its reputation as Mud Season because of the snowmelt means you can escape to Vermont for bargain prices. SUMMER: Enjoy the Black River and 200-acre Lake Rescue, where we have a private dock with three boats – a canoe and two kayaks – a two-minute walk from the front door. There is boating, fishing, swimming and lounging on the dock in colorful Adirondack chairs. Several golf courses are nearby, as well as hiking trails, bike riding, historic sites, scenic New England towns to explore, shopping and more. FALL: Fall foliage season in Vermont means spectacular hiking, shopping, and breathtaking leaf-peeping drives on scenic Vermont 100. (The address is 26 Benson Point Rd, Ludlow, VT) 9% VT lodging tax, $200 cleaning/hot tub will be added to total rent, as well as a $500 security deposit. A winter seasonal rental is available; just ask for rates and info. A ONE-WEEK rental is required in July and August, Saturday to Saturday. FALL FOLIAGE season has a $200 surcharge for the peak weekend or week. Vermont Rooms TAX ID 440-K10060265F-01
There are 10 homes on our wooded peninsula on Lake Rescue. Lots of trees for privacy. Lake nearby but not so close that kids can wander in unattended. Okemo ski resort is 3.5 miles away.
  • An amazing stay with warm “ski lodge” touches. Great distance from two amazing mountains. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

    Meaghan2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Our group of 14 loved staying at this cozy cabin. The two kitchens were a huge bonus. They made storing food and cooking for the group much easier than other rentals. Additionally, we loved the cozy living space by the fire and the fact that the bedrooms are private rather than having multiple beds per room. Lisa sent very detailed check in instructions and everything was perfect. This is a great rental for a group looking to explore this charming area of Vermont.

    Dorothy2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • A great place for large groups! The two levels and kitchens were great to have It is so close to Okemo, which was one of the best features. Place was well kept and provided lots space. The grill did not work, which was a bummer. We did not realize/was not aware that there would only be a minimal amount of paper towels/toilet paper, so we needed to go out and supply our own. Make sure you bring spme, especially if you have a large group!

    Kahley2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin was an incredible space for a big group to hang out. The hot tub was wonderful.

  • We had a good stay at Lisa's place

    Mariana2019-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • This house is a great place to stay for large groups skiing at Okemo. Plenty of beds, large common areas, and room to park at least three cars. The hot tub on the deck is easily large enough for 5 people. It’s also private from most neighbors and a good distance away from the only one with a direct line of sight, so you don’t have to worry about being too quiet.

    Ben2019-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • Lisa was a great host and after a small hiccup that was taken care of right away, our weekend getaway was a success!

    Peter2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Lisa’s place is great for a family get together. Plenty of space and lots to do. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit and the kayaks. It was fun relaxing at the house after a long day’s hike. October is beautiful time to enjoy Lisa’s house.

  • Great place! Perfect for a small group ski weekend. And right in between Killington & Okemo. Would definitely stay again.

  • I had a group of 6 adult friends staying here to ski for 3 days. The space was clean, and the beds were adequate. The kitchen is well furnished with enough space to cook. The downstairs area was a little small for 6 adults to hang out in after a long day on the slopes. That said, this was expected and shown in the pictures. This set up is better for families than adult groups in my opinion.

  • Unlike other reviewers, we stayed here during the summer. The place is right on Echo Lake and we enjoyed using our SUPs everyday on the lake. There was nearby hiking along the Appalachian Trail. We also visited several breweries. We enjoyed our stay and didn't want to leave at the end of the week. The place didn't have a/c which for most of our stay wasn't a problem, but the first two days of our stay were hot and sticky with little cooling at night. This made the upstairs rooms very stuffy. Luckily, the nighttime temps went down for the rest of the week, making it much more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again. The place was on the market when we visited though, so it may not be around.

  • This location was perfect! Not only was there a huge flat screen TV that I could binge Netflix on at night after I got back from the mountain, the bed in bedroom was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on! I couldn't have picked a better location in regards to going back and forth from Killington. Basically a straight, quick shot to the mountain (which was even more convenient after long day of riding). I highly highly recommend Sherri's place for anyone looking for a nice & peaceful spot!

You’ll love our place because of the location, peaceful & quite setting, lots of wild life. Perfect for relaxing, swimming, kayaking, leaf-peeping. The lake has a 5 mph speed limit, the only sound may be is the call of the resident loons. There are also several kinds of ducks, a variety of songbirds and water birds share the shoreline. The private roads around the lake offer plenty of leisurely walks with binoculars or camera and are great for mountain biking!

  • A fantastic stay in a quaint rustic retreat. Our hosts were extremely responsive, very helpful in the navigation of our snow filled back roads, and left many helpful notes throughout the home. The two car garage was a welcome surprise, and despite the cold temperatures outside, the cabin stayed toasty warm throughout. A great time was had by all, and we would absolutely consider another stay for a ski weekend in the future.

  • Maria's home was a quick 10 minute ride to Okemo mountain. The bedroom was as advertised and we were welcome to share the common space. The blueberry muffins were a thoughtful touch in the morning. She shared restaurant and bar recommendations with us for après and going into town. The Belmont General Store is about 1 mile away and many restaurants and a supermarket are located in Ludlow at Okemo Mountain so you won’t be too far from all the necessities. We live less than 1000 feet away from the Cabin so we are available to answer questions and make sure you are comfortable during your stay. Once checked in you will enjoy all the privacy of the Cabin, the natural beauty of its surroundings and be within reach of all the local attractions. We are about 1 mile off the paved roads so 4 wheel drive is advisable for heading our way in winter conditions. The cabin comes with fiber optic high-speed internet and wireless phone service is available through the internet connection. We do allow pets (maximum of two pets allowed) but if you want to leave them unattended during the day we require that you have them in a crate so that we can enter the cabin if needed.
In the Belmont section of Mount Holly, we are close to major roads but secluded in the woods. You will be able to head to a variety of ski areas , lakes and forests within 20 to 30 minutes. Shopping is minutes away in Ludlow and in the nearby towns of Weston, Chester and Rutland. Restaurants are as close as 15 minutes from us and we are happy to provide recommendations.
  • Darrin and Tom are thoughtful and gracious hosts. Their cabin is clean, comfortable, quiet and peaceful. We had such a lovely, relaxing visit! From the toasty fireplace to the beautiful scenery surrounding the cabin it was the perfect setting for our spa weekend. We would love to come back again!

  • We love this house, it’s kind a remotes next to the small spring. think it’s kind of the moms from all the bars and restaurants so we have to drive and there is no Uber or taxi available if you want to have a couple drinks.Overall great place to run away from the city and chill by the woods

  • Great deal for the area! It was nice that they allowed dogs as we brought ours. I was just nervous about our dog going down the stairs from the loft bedroom as they are steep and polished. Would def be too crowded if we had more than 4 people there (we had 3). Darrin and Tom kept the driveway clear of snow and had all the essentials. Loft bedroom got very hot with the gas stove running but with an adjustment of the ceiling fan we were much more comfortable. Would stay here again.

  • Darrin and Tom’s place was a wonderful getaway for our ski trip in Vermont. We had a really great time sitting around by the cozy fire playing Yahtzee after days out on the slopes. It was private, well decorated and a lovely place to stay.

  • Very clean! Darrin and Tom were very helpful and responsive. Very close to Okemo - perfect snowboarding weekend cabin!

  • These guys are the best! They met me upon check in. They were always responsive. They were there first thing in the morning to plow the drive after a 6 in snowfall. The cabin is charming and well appointed. It's immaculate and cozy. I loved this place so much I'd consider a seasonal next year!

  • Great private little cabin close to multiple mountains for skiing and snowboarding. The gas fireplace keeps the rooms nice and toasty on a cold winter night, be sure to have 4 wheel drive bc the back roads to the house can get icy/snowy.

We are tucked in a beautiful valley in central Vermont. From the vibrant colors of autumn to easy access to the Killington Skyeship ski lift, to our own pool and tennis court we offer four season fun. It's a short drive to historic Woodstock, Long Trail Brewery, President Calvin Coolidge homestead and museum. We are also very convenient to Okemo and Pico ski resorts.
This is a family run business and my wife and I are happy to provide you with comfortable accommodations to enjoy your stay. Both my wife and I are originally from New York. We both love the beauty of Vermont and enjoy outdoor activities. We are skiers, tennis players, golfers, and kayakers and have made Killington our home for more than 25 years.
  • This is a motel super close to the Killington base. Dan was helpful and friendly. There is a hot tub.

  • Great spot for the price. Easy access, close to everything! Rooms are nothing fancy but warm and comfortable.

  • the description doesn't say that it's a motel but it's a motel. as long as you know ahead of time that it is a motel, and your expectations are for a motel, you'll enjoy your stay. this place has its charm and the host was awesome. he gave us an old shower curtain to lay in the back of my friend's truck to put our luggage on top of because it was snowing. the wifi was solid, I was able to watch an online stream at 720p at 30fps with no buffering. the place is a 2-minute drive to the ski lift at Killington so it's a great location. the beds are motel beds, nothing terrible or special about them. the hosts were responsive and communicated with us quickly. great deal for the price.

  • I really only used the place to sleep and it was perfect enough for that. It’s a great location to be able to visit multiple spots. Brendan was responsive to my messages and helpful with my questions! He was very accommodating to my request for a late night check in as well. The space was a decent size! I was by myself but I imagine the space would be comfortable for 3-4. Great that there is a little kitchen and full fridge too!

  • This was a very cute little apartment immediately off the 4. We only stayed one night since we were just driving through the area, but I have been in this part of Vermont before and this location would be great for exploring the area. There is a bed and a comfy futon. TV works great if you have log in info for yourself. Bathroom was super clean and we enjoyed a comfortable night here. Kitchen looked great; we didn’t use it, but it looked like it would be great for a longer stay. Hosts were helpful when we called for extra blankets and help with WiFi/tv. Overall, a lovely place in a gorgeous location!

Enjoy Glamping? Our place is close to Woodstock and Quechee VT and you’ll love our place if you enjoy a natural setting, rustic acres with pond and woods surrounded by old stone walls. Get out and explore the area and come home at night to the cozy 1955 El Rey trailer or our 1947 Curtis Wright Airstream. We’re experienced innkeepers from The Bissell House Bed & Breakfast in So Pasadena CA. Thanks to all who stayed with us in 2019. We are closed for the season and will reopen late Spring 2020.
Looking for a warm and cozy space? Our vintage trailers are just the spot! Our 12 acre property is heavily wooded and late spring through fall are great times to enjoy the outdoors. Camping with a trailer is a fun experience. While we do not have a kitchen, our outdoor cook station has some basics. Please expect some vintage aspects, such as door handles, screens, windows etc. that function differently and need upgrading periodically. These are not new modern trailers, they’re vintage! We think that adds to the appeal! However they are clean and cozy. Your trailer is down by the pond, nearby is the large fire pit, composting outhouse, stove and BBQ grill. Our sweet wildlife pond is pristine, spring fed, and has an abundance of wildlife in and around it. You may even see the barred owls hunting for frogs. Both trailers are pondside. The El Rey is across the pond from the Curtis Wright. Swimming is allowed, Please read the house rules regarding rinsing off prior to swimming and refraining from getting suntan oil etc. in the pond. We rent either the 1955 El Rey or our 1947 Curtis Wright Airstream. See our other listing for the second trailer. This listing is for the 1947 Curtis Wright. This is our 1st year to offer the Airstream, please see our other listing of the El Rey for our reviews from 2018! That listing is titled “Good Night Moon Vintage” El Rey Glamping. Nights can be chilly so be prepared with warm clothes. Please be aware of weather conditions as rain can impact your camping! That’s part of what makes it so fun to be inside a trailer instead of in a tent on the ground! However mud can be part of the experience outside your trailer. You are welcome to build a fire in the fire pit and toast marshmallows or grill....Kindling is plentiful around the grounds, however please bring whatever you intend to use, or order it from us. We do ask that you start your fire the old fashioned way and do NOT use gas, diesel etc. which will leech into the pond and harm our wildlife. We have charcoal and wood on site for sale, advance request is much appreciated and pay upon arrival by the bundle. We also have a freestanding shower enclosure that you may use with water bags that you will fill daily and heat when there is sun. It will take time so plan ahead. This year 2020 we will be building our outdoor shower so stay tuned for photos when that is completed.
We are on a private road on a mountaintop so access is limited to just our guests and the occasional neighbor going past. Wildlife abounds, we do have deer, raptors, turkey, bear and occasionally moose. Our Phoebe Flycatchers nest and fledge in the summer kitchen annually and you might see the babies learning to fly. We hope our local Barred Owls will be regular visitors again this summer.
  • Great place, Jim and juli are very friendly! Warm welcome and even some wood was brought to us to start a nice fire. Location is awesome!

  • Beautiful property, unique experience. Trailer was charming and clean. Hosts are great - they really make sure you have everything you need! Would definitely make a return trip.

    Chelsea2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • It was SO wonderful being in the peaceful country, in a vintage setting. Thank you Julie!

    Anita2019-10-11T00:00:00Z
  • Just MAGICAL. Super welcoming and comfortable. Juli and Jim have clearly thought through dozens of little details to make staying at their place a fanatic experience. We were able to cook breakfast and dinner and had all the pans we needed. The area is very quiet and it was super private and beautiful. There is literally no cell reception anywhere near it unless you go to one of the nearby stores/restaurants. They do have WiFi on location, so just make sure you have your destinations plugged into your GPS while you're at the cabin with the WiFi! This was a wonderful spot, the hosts were really thoughtful and communicative. They made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back and recommend to friends.

    Navyatha2019-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • Juli and Jim’s place is awesome! We probably had the best sleep of the entire trip in their camper. Very comfortable, very quiet, and great amenities. Check in info and directions were very detailed and clear. Great communication.

    Rhonda2019-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • Great glamping experience! Juli and Jim were excellent hosts and above and beyond willing to assist. They are in the heart of a number of things to see/do in the area.

    Elizabeth2019-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • Cannot recommend this place enough! Jim and Juli were so nice and welcoming. Their property is so unique and special. We already cannot wait to return!

    Melissa2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • Loved this glamping experience. Their place was quiet and serene. Loved the loose tea selection, as I am not a coffee drinker (it was nice they had both to choose from). Loved the area, and the fall leaf experience.

  • I was looking for a place to spend a couple nights when skiing at Killington, what I found was a home away from home. Sarah made me feel so welcome and apart of her home on my two night stay. The wood burning stove was very cozy and the location and short drive to the mountain was beautiful. Will stay again if I take a solo trip to the mountain!!
