  • Cheryl is a fantastic host!! Her response times are like none I have ever experienced on Airbnb! She provided thoughtful items throughout the Airbnb that made our stay feel as though we were right at home but yet away and pampered. The hot tub was amazing and we loved learning about the variety of chickens they have. Stop searching for a relaxing place to stay and book her place now! You won't regret it!!!

    Crystal2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • Great place. We enjoyed our evening hot tub time. We loved eating fresh chicken eggs every morning. Comfortable bed and soft towels. Highly would recommend staying here.

    Denise2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved our stay for many reasons. This place has a homey and sweet feel. Cheryl is clearly very thougtful. She left snacks and chocolates. There's games, a hot tub, an electronic fire, and a diffuser. We hope to come back.

    Liam2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • The Cabana was so stylish and the perfect size. The bed was comfortable and the hot tub was very relaxing. It is in the perfect place to look at the moon and stars while kicking back and relaxing after a long drive.

    Trish2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Cheryl literally thought of everything which made it such a relaxing experience! The bed was amazing, and the fresh eggs were the best surprise! We did not have time to use the hot tub, but we definitely be back soon!

    Emily2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • It was a wonderful place to relax and unwind! The furnishings were perfectly cottage-y, comfy and cozy! The electric fireplace and the essential oils were a bonus we were not expecting. The area was surrounded by beautiful aspects of nature, including waterfalls, mountains, rivers and water/ice inside the rock formations. We enjoyed driving and walking to explore everything around us. Great time- we would stay there again in a heartbeat! C and K

Enjoy the peaceful country neighborhood with dark skies, and summertime fireflies. The cabin is on the second floor of a detached building on our property. With one complete bedroom, fully kitted kitchen, full bath, and even a loft, this space has a lot of room to spread out. Relax after a day of exploring on the huge covered back deck. Big South Fork Nat'l Park is 10 minutes away! The conveniences of Oneida are 2 miles away. Knoxville is 1 hr. Local craft beer and lots of adventure await!
The space is a completely private and detached area, but on shared property. You have a dedicated, covered parking space. There is a complete flight of stairs to climb. Brand new LUCID brand mattresses. The entire space was renovated June 2019 with new flooring in the bathroom, new appliances, new furniture, and all new kitchenware!
The neighborhood is quaint and very quiet. South Fork Tack shop is walking distance and offers cold beer, tack, hiking supplies, and much more. Oneida (Wal Mart, restaurants, gas, etc) is about 2 miles away.
  • Can’t say enough about Big South Fork or the cabin. Awesome place!!! Scott and Kristin are wonderful people and wonderful hosts with an absolutely beautiful guesthouse cabin!! With so much to do in the area they live in, we were hardly at the cabin during our weekend stay, but the cabin is a great place to just hangout and relax. It’s spacious and they have it spotless clean! Bed’s great. Showers great. We didn’t watch TV but they have it set up that if you want to, you can watch anything. The cabin is full of really cool decor and touches that make it comfortable, and even has a porch to relax on if you’re there with the time! As I said before, we weren’t there much because the area they’re in has so much to do. If you love hiking the outdoors and admiring Earth’s natural beauty, Big South Fork is for you. If you really want to explore all there is in BSF, a weekend is not long enough, haha. We went to the O&W Railroad bridge, Twin Arches (gotta do the Twin Arches Loop!), and Yahoo Falls/Arch. We also went to Lillypad Hopyard Brewery which is THE coolest brewery you’ll ever go to. These were all suggestions from Scott and Kristin, and they were amazing! RaeZack’s is a great place to eat, and Lillypad (which is in Lancing, TN) also has “The Sauced Frog” that has GREAT BBQ! But as they have in their house manual, Oneida doesn’t have a ton of food options, so if you’re there for more than a few days, I’d recommend bringing some groceries because there is a kitchen, we just weren’t there long enough to use it. Scott and Kristin are both so friendly and accommodating. They were unbelievably kind for the short time I saw them upon arrival, and always responded quickly before and during our stay! Scott initially offered for us to hangout by the fire pit that’s in between their home and the cabin on our second night there, but my girlfriend and I didn’t make it back until around 11 PM. I genuinely hope I make it back there some day to continue exploring all there is (and to hangout with Scott and Kristin). I would 12/10 recommend staying here if you’re wanting to stay at a really cool place and wanting to check out BSF or anywhere around the TN/KY line!!

    Graham2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome host! Great value and spotless!!! Any hikers visiting be sure and hit Slave falls and if you go to Rugby check out the Gentlemans swimming loop trail. All are in the Big South Fork. Scott's place is the perfect hub for outdoor adventure in the area.

    John2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay, area was beautiful. Great hiking nearby and close to Big South Fork. Oneida had much more to offer than expected. Cabin is very clean and hosts were very friendly & courteous :)

  • We visited in late January for a mountain biking getaway. Two of us, and we found this to be spacious. Many nice amenities: comfortable bed and comfortable pillows; appreciated the shampoo, conditioner, and bodywash in dispensers in the shower; plenty of bowls, plates, pots and pans, and cooking utensils; TV set up for Roku for streaming using our own accounts with auto logout at the end of our stay; books available and local printed guides. Very conveniently located by the Bandy Creek trailhead for accessing the mountain bike IMBA Epic route. Not expected, not after a long day on the trails on Saturday, they invited us to join them for a bonfire. Scott and Kristin really are lovely hosts and it was a pleasure to meet them and stay here for our trip.

    Geralyn2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great stay! Weather wasn’t great so having a cozy spot to warm up and enjoy was very nice. Scott made great suggestions to help accommodate the weather and make the best of it! Highly recommend for a weekend getaway.

    Amelia2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Loved our stay at the BSF Cozy Cabin. Scott was very attentive to our needs and a GREAT host!!! Will definitely stay again on our next trip to TN.

    Katherine2020-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • Very warm hosts with great local knowledge to steer you in the right direction. A very comfy place to call home for a few days if you’re looking to explore The Big South Fork area. Would definitely stay here again!

  • It was a great place!

    Geeta2020-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful and clean cozy get away from life. The huge windows make you feel so much closer to nature. I cant wait to go back!!!!

    Jessica2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • I would highly recommend this property if you are looking for something close to Cumberland falls! The house was amazing, the location was amazing and Brittany was very with responding back ASAP

    Heidi2020-01-25T00:00:00Z
  • This tiny house is darling, so clean, and comfortable! It feels very private and peaceful, even though you aren’t far from the main road (which I liked since I was traveling alone), and I enjoyed that you are surrounded by the view of woods on all sides! The feeling of camping without roughing it! :) Comfy bed, spacious bathroom, all basic kitchen items already there. So much natural light with all the windows. I used my stay for a quiet getaway to pray, read, and paint, and it was the perfect spot for that. Only a short 15 min drive to Cumberland Falls, with many trails and views to enjoy. About a 20 min drive from the grocery/restaurants. I will be back, so very lovely!

    JoAnna2020-01-14T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful space, very clean!

    Bryce2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Really stunningly pretty & convenient for the area. Really nice place! I'll definitely look for this again when I come back

  • This was my first time renting an AirBNB and it was a great experience. The space was more than what we expected and perfect for a weekend getaway, and had everything we needed to be able to relax and still cook all of our meals in the kitchen. It was also a fairly short drive to see Cumberland Falls and to be able to go to Kroger if we needed!

Located just 4 miles from Cumberland Falls, hiking trails, horseback riding trails, bike trails, 12 miles from town and l.5 hrs. to Lexington or Knoxville airports You’ll love my place that is quiet, REMOTE, out in nature with a private bedroom downstairs and King sized bed. Full bath upstairs, and half bath downstairs. My place is your home away from home with self-check-in. Review Directions under "Location". If you are looking for a larger suite, check out my listing for the Johnson Suite.
I just finished remodeling and everything is like brand new. I need my guests to take good care and leave shoes upon before entering. Thank you.
The neighbors on either side of my place are family. This is a short road with only four homes and the first one is a horse ranch. I am the third place. DO NOT go by GPS when it says "you are here" at the horse ranch. Go by the mailbox numbers to 472 Bill Neal.
  • Very clean. Enjoyed my stay.

  • Sharon is such an incredible host, very warm and welcoming person. The place is beautiful and quaint. Our stay was just lovely, her hospitality was above and beyond. What I loved most of all was Sharon itself, she is such a sweetheart, always ready to talk, share her wisdom and made sure we are comfortable. She made it feel like visiting grandma’s home rather than staying in AirBnb. The only thing is I would suggest arriving while it is still daylight as the GPS/Cell service can be tricky, but once you learn the area it’s not too bad. Don’t let the last few turns get you (Just follow Sharons directions you ll be fine, you ). If you’re interested being out in nature and relaxing in the woods, I would definitely recommend this. You can’t go wrong at her hide away nest. 😊😊

    Ńãndinî2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great place in a great location. Sharon is very clear with what she expects from her guess. She has a very nice breakfast area upstairs for guests.

    Randall2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • The space was clean and comfortable, and the location was close to where I wanted to be. My stay was made even better by the host who was very gracious and kind. I feel like I got an excellent value for what I paid and would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in the area.

    Tony2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Sharon was awesome and made me feel right at home. Anyone who wants a place away from the world, Sharon will help you out!

    Aaron2019-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • Expect a beautiful house, with a great hostess. You can't go wrong at her hide-a way nest.

    Rick2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • I cannot express in words how wonderful my 4 days of stay at Sharon’s place was. She welcomes you to her beautiful house in the middle of the mountains, with a warm smile. She was very kind to me and made me feel very comfortable. Don’t let the initial houses on the way get you. You’ll totally change your perspective once you meet her, see her house and experience the hospitality. If ever I am to visit KY again, I’ll stay at her place without having a second though. :)

    Sadhana2019-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • She is a very sweet and generous host. The place is awesome, very quiet, in fact in the middle of nowhere. 10-15 minutes drive to Cumberland falls.

  • Nice quiet location. Was perfect for what I needed, and the little kitchen area provided me with the morning coffee as well as some delicious muffins provided by Sharon.

    Zelda2019-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • Sharon's place is peaceful and clean. A great location if you are visiting Cumberland Falls and so much cheaper than the lodge.

    Chialing2019-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Sharon’s place for catching some moonbows in the nearby Cumberland Falls State Park. The place was thanks to Sharon’s instructions easy to find, spotless clean and we loved the delicious goodies from her granddaughters store she left for us in our kitchenette. The state park was easily reachable and it was even a good location to reach Mammoth Cave National Park.

    Katharina2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Enjoyed Sharon 's hospitality, the extra's she had for breakfast, and the time in her home.

    Linda2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • We had the upstairs bedrooms and it was perfect. The minifridge with snacks was a special touch. She also had popcorn for us to share our first night. I really enjoyed the quiet. And appreciated how spacious it was. We would definitely stay here again on a next trip.

    Laura2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • Sharon is very friendly house in the mountains, so there is no signal, there is wifi, the room is very clean, the second floor has a small living room, you can use the microwave and the refrigerator, the bathroom is shared with other guests, the price is very affordable.

    Ariel2019-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • Sharon, thank you for being a wonderful host. It was a pleasure to be at your home. It was nice, clean and very comfortable. Hope i get to visit them often :). Cumberland Falls is also very close and it makes this home in the woods so convenient and calming. Thank you for all the hospitality.

    Arnab2019-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • This is a nice quiet place in the woods which suited our needs well. An upstairs bedroom and separate sitting room area with a microwave, small fridge, coffee, tea, snacks, and breakfast foods made it a nice place to hang out in the morning, as we were slow to get going. There were mugs, paper plates, bowls and eating utensils to use as well. Cumberland Falls is nearby, as well as other natural arches. Lots of hiking in Big South Fork State Park area as well. There are great roads in the whole south central area for motorcycle riding, which is what we went to do. :) So Sharon's place was a great base for our circle tours.

  • Perfect getaway cabin for the evening! Great communication for months leading up to the reservation and the place was great. Being in the woods, we had a bit of a ladybug “issue”, but within minutes our host was there cleaning them up and oht! Very impressed! Great location, great stay! Will def look to rent again next year when in town for the holiday!

    Heidi2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay! Clean and convenient to Corbin (where we were attending an event at the Arena). We comfortably slept 8 people. Great layout and good, prompt communication from the host. Not too rustic though not fancy either. A few Corbin restaurants we enjoyed during our stay were Seasons, Austin City and You And Me coffee shop. We also enjoyed Alley Stuff antique/gift shop. Would definitely stay here again!

    Heidi2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful cabin that’s in the woods, but still just a short distance from all the amenities of Williamsburg and Corbin. The bedrooms were very clean and comfortable, and the open living space provided lots of room to spend time with family. Would definitely come back!

  • This cabin is spacious, clean, and conveniently located near trails, lakes, rivers, and offers plenty of outdoor excursion opportunities. The host is kind and responsive, and check-in/out is simple and intuitive. This cabin is located on Sheltowee Trace Adventure Resort campground (not a secluded spot). It is a great option for a quiet getaway or a more action-packed adventure.

Glamping! This simple one-room cabin is located at Sheltowee Trace Adventure Resort, 5 miles from Cumberland Falls State Resort Park and nestled against the Daniel Boone National Forest. Destination hikes include Cumberland Falls, Eagle Falls, Schoolhouse Arch, Dogslaughter Falls and Bark Camp Creek cascades. There are 2 miles of trails located on-site as well. We are 20 minutes from Laurel Lake and 30 minutes from the Big South Fork scenic Railway.
Cabin includes a microwave, small dorm-sized fridge, heat/air conditioning. A picnic table, fire ring and charcoal grill are outside. Separate heated bathhouse with flush toilets and hot showers. A bundle of firewood is included with additional bundles available for purchase. Free wifi, but be aware that cell service is extremely limited in this area.
Located near Cumberland Falls, this is a great place to get away from it all. Heavily wooded with lots of great hiking. Closest town is about 20 minutes away, in Corbin, KY. Corbin has several great locally-owned restaurants in the downtown area, as well as standard fare near the interstate.
  • This was a great getaway!! Would definitely come back

  • We had a great time staying in our little cabin. It’s small, but it’s cozy. There is a gravel spot in front of each cabin so you don’t have to walk from the main parking area. Bathrooms were very clean. We will definitely recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the area. Thank you for keeping everything so clean. The free firewood bundle was a nice touch we didn’t know we wanted/needed.

  • It was a great place. Loved it!!

    Olivia2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Surpassed expectation. Our cozy cottage was clean and in a great location to hit hiking trails and explore around the parks surrounding. It was a great choice for a quick weekend getaway that was quaint and secluded. We will be back! Thanks again!

  • Great location exactly what we were looking for.

    Anthony2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • We ended up not actually being able to stay at Dania’s cabin, but the communication between us was efficient and commendable! We would definitely try to stay here if we are out this way again.

    Nick2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • This cute little cabin was perfect for us as Cumberland Falls campground was closed. Just enough space for me and my boyfriend to stay a night and keep our foods refrigerated. The heater kept the cabin warm and we slept so soundly! Dania was so kind to check in with me days before the trip and during to make sure we were comfortable.

    Lilli2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at the Cozy Cabin was far better than we expected it to be. We had a late check-in, but it was easy to find and get into. The staff answered all the questions we had before arrival which made the entire process as smooth as could be. Restrooms were very clean, with only a short walk to them as well. Our only complaint with the entire stay was that the mattresses could have been a little nicer. We will also be bringing our own pillows and blankets next time around. Over all great stay, at a great location!

  • Spent thanksgiving here with our 4 kids ages 7-16 and our dog. House was perfect for us. Location was everything we were looking for. Kim had hiking trail ideas and we had so much fun hiking in big south fork. Waterfalls, rocks to climb and all very close by. One rainy day was spent playing games and watching football. We cooked all our meals in the well stocked kitchen. It was just what we needed to get away.

    Brande2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • Rustic, spacious, great firm beds ( in a good way), very easy to communicate and check in and out. Proximity to Blue Heron park was excellent (10 minutes!). So close and so beautiful! Lots of stars and the fire pit and wood was awesome.

    Sarah2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great place. Tucked away, private, clean, cute and cozy. Our family loved out time here. We spent a lot of time visiting parks that were very close and absolutely loved the ATV trails that were super close to the cabin. We liked rocking on the front porch and enjoyed rigorous walks around the cabin with all of the of hills on the pretty private loop the cabin was on. We definitely want to come back to the area and the cabin again. The hosts were very attentive and even brought an airpump when one of our 4-wheeler tires were low. Thanks again for a great week!

    Jessica2019-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • Clean, comfortable, and country. We really enjoyed this cabin. It is very clean and well designed with two bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs. It is located in a rural, but not isolated area and has very modern amenities with WiFi, etc. It was a great place to relax after a day of checking out some of the local sights, and its location worked well to access all the things we wanted to see such as Cumberland Falls, Blue Heron Mining Community, and several arches and overlooks. We would be happy to stay here again.

    John2019-10-05T00:00:00Z
  • Wow! A beautiful and well-maintained cabin! The decor was modern, the beds were comfy, and the jacuzzi bathtub was that extra something we weren’t expecting. Definitely family friendly. Great communication with the host. Lots to do in the area! We will definitely be back.

    Sarah2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is very clean and well decorated! My mom and I stayed for a couple of days and we had a great time. There’s a cozy porch and fire pit to hang out around out back, and nature all around! The beds were comfy and there was satellite tv to watch after walking all day on the trails. The roads can be somewhat confusing just because we would lose signal to our gps every once in awhile, but the scenery was beautiful so we didn’t mind. We got to see a lot of little critters around the property as well. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet escape into nature. It was very relaxing.

    Nicole2019-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at this home! The house was immaculate and the hostesses we’re very nice and easy to reach. The home itself is secluded but located in a charming hilly neighborhood. Quick drive to local parks and hiking. The Whistle Stop Cafe was great and we enjoyed it twice in our weekend stay! Plan your trip ahead of time for parks and hiking, there’s so much to see!!

Our 3200 square foot log home is nestled in the Appalachian Mountains overlooking a meandering creek, lush green pasture, and hardwood forest. The three bedrooms and bath in the loft are available to a single, couple, or a family. We have many requests from people with ATVs. Unfortunately, we have limited parking and can not accommodate trailers.
Though my wife and I will be available, guests will have all the privacy they would like. There are three bedrooms in the loft, with a full bath which serves the three rooms. The great room provides a comfortable place for individuals or the entire family to enjoy a movie or a cozy chat.
Our neighbors are lovely people and will most likely be around. We ask that you respect their privacy and stay within the boundaries of the Ambleside cabin.
  • Steven and Claudia were amazing hosts on our beautiful weekend away with friends. It was the perfect weekend escape that we all needed. Their hospitality and overall beauty of the house really won us over. It had personal touches and plenty of space! We will definitely be back!

  • Another lovely stay at Ambleside! This time I particularly enjoyed watching the fog and mist and even a little snow up on the mountain. Loved experiencing the outdoors through the beautiful windows while I stayed cozy and dry inside. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

  • This house and setting were beautiful! If you are looking for a place that is quiet and peaceful , then this is exactly what you are looking for! Stephen was very nice and helpful with some questions we had and he really wanted to make sure we were happy and comfortable. My husband and I travel this area at least once a year and we WILL be back!

    Tina2019-12-14T00:00:00Z
  • This beautiful and comfortable home was perfect for our group. Our group consisted of two families (2 adults and 2 kids in each). The set-up of the house allowed one family to sleep upstairs and the other to sleep in the lower level with room to spare. The main floor's large and open living spaces meant everyone could spend time together. The grounds are just as beautiful as the home. There are a trails to explore, a creek, lots of space for kids to run and play. Also, the hosts Stephen and Claudia were so nice and accommodating. We are looking forward to our next stay. Now, to figure out when we can get away...

    Jessica2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Stephen and Claudia are wonderful hosts who go above and beyond to assist you and make sure you are comfortable. The location is away from everything and very peaceful.

  • This place is a gem! Super clean, super affordable, a great home that is fully stocked with all that you need. The cabin is in a nice secluded area and the perfect place to relax and unwind. We traveled with 12 people total, including 6 kids age 5 and under, and it worked out great. The cabin has a lot of toys and books for the kids, and our kids loved them. They also loved playing with the dogs that roam the lot, hiking on the trail, and exploring the creek. Also, Steve and Claudia's hospitality was fantastic. They are very communicative, helpful, and attentive to their guest's needs. Their home is and the surrounding area is beautiful. If you are looking for a low key place to relax and unwind, I would highly recommend Ambleside!

  • Brendas place was BEYOND all of our expectations. We came with 4 people but could easily be perfect for 6-8 people as well. It rained majority of our time there, but that did not hinder any enjoyment! Tons of games and puzzles, tons of space throughout, great hot tub, amazing kitchen, two screened-in porches (perfect for a dog!), great showers, great fireplaces, the list could go on! The robes for the hot tub were an extra touch that I thought was very nice. I hope to come back!

  • This place is great, you won't regret staying here. Things we liked - the hot tub, the comfortable beds, being able to walk right off the property and onto a hiking trail, outdoor seating, screened in porch, kitchen stocked with staples, games and DVDs, woodsy decor. 6 people slept very comfortably, we felt welcome and Brenda was very responsive to questions. I hope to be back.

Wilderness Ridge is quietly nestled in the Williams Creek/Station Camp area with The Big South Fork National Park less than a mile from its back door. If you are looking for a place to hike, fish, climb, swim, mountain bike, kayak, canoe, take a relaxing horse ride, or just a private and secluded place to get away and relax for a few days, look no further, Wilderness Ridge is your place.
This property is extremely close to the station camp entrance of the Big South Fork National river and recreation area. The property is very secluded and quiet. Perfect for those wanting privacy and nature. We also are a pet friendly property, which is hard to find.
The property is positioned well off of the main road with no viewable neighbors. It has wonderful pasture and wooded views(not part of the rental property). We are located approximately 20 minutes outside of Oneida, where you can find grocery stores, a Walmart, and a few resteraunts and some fast food options. Just a suggestion, but since the house is a bit of a distance outside of town, You might consider going to the grocery to get food, toiletries(we provide a starter amount of personal toiletries but not enough for heavy use or long stays), or anything else you may need to grab before you head to the property.
  • The country setting was peaceful and relaxing. Rhyan was very easy to work with and she communicated extremely well !! The beds were comfortable, the house was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Our girls loved having their own space in a house, instead of staying at a hotel. We would definitely stay at her place again if we are ever in the area.

  • Great place to stay in close proximity to Big South Fork State Park. We enjoyed a long weekend with our dogs, and it was great to have a nice, warm, clean home to come back to after hiking all day. It’s exactly like the pictures.

  • Wonderfully peaceful and amazing host: My husband booked this stay as a surprise trip to Big South Fork and it was perfect. We enjoyed exploring Oneida and just driving around- it is gorgeous! We saw so many stars at night! At one point, we accidentally locked ourselves out and he was quick to come and rescue us. The location is perfect for peace and quiet. Will definitely keep in mind for next time we are in the area. Thanks again!

  • If you're looking for a hidden gem in Big South Fork area, this is IT! The rate is a great value for what is included. The cabin was very clean upon arrival and had all the basic needs during our stay.

    Kaitlin2019-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • The house was clean, easy checkin, and out in the country. We loved this aspect, as we could see the stars so clearly. We also loved the horses being right there. We enjoyed being so close to big south fork hiking. Plenty of small town things to do, we went to a fall festival in the next town over. People were friendly everywhere we went. Internet and Netflix worked great. Highly recommend this home for a getaway.

  • Staying in the wagon was such a unique experience and our group of four adults (all mid - late 20s) had a great time. The wagon was clean and the air conditioning was very appreciated during the heat of the day. You can't beat the closeness to Cumberland Falls either.

    Emily2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean! We loved the covered wagon and the kids really enjoyed the camp environment. The bathrooms and bathhouse we much better than expected. Beautiful cabin on 6 plus acres gated community private entrance. Just minutes from several trails heads (no trailing needed) that give you access over 900 miles of trails!
  • We had a group of five and we spent four nights at the cabin on our off road riding trip. The cabin accommodations more than met our expectations. Great place and Carl is a great host! How nice is the place? He's lucky that he didn't have me stay as a squatter! Close enough to the riding trails where you don't have to trailer your machines everyday. We will be back!

  • Great cabin! Very nice for the price, very secluded, quiet, and has amazing views!

    Bama2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great stay at Carl’s place! Appreciated all the amenities and his beautiful property. Fun times riding the trails once we became familiar with the area. Carl was very attentive to answering our questions and giving us pointers. Hope to stay again next year!

  • Amazing views and beautiful cabin! Carl was very easy to communicate with, highly recommend! Hope to be back!

  • Carl's place is so nice. Definitely that cabin in the woods but has a beautiful view from the front porch. He was super quick to respond and very accommodating. I would not hesitate to recommend this place! You will not be disappointed!

Cozy two bedroom cabin with unobstructed views of the mountains. On the back deck there is a hot tub and a gas grill. Near Big South Fork and Historic Rugby. 3 mile hike from the cabin to the river round-trip. Or drive to the trailhead and hike half a mile to the river. Come here to unwind and de-stress. Totally peaceful :-) My favorite time of year is winter at the cabin. Nothing like sitting in the hot tub and looking out over the frosty trees and mountains!
This is a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower, living room, fully equipped kitchen, and open loft area. The couch is a sleeper sofa and there is a large carpeted loft.
Close to Big South Fork National Park and Recreation Area and Historic Rugby. Plenty of outdoor activities here.
  • The Cozy Cabin is exactly that- warm and well appointed and cozy. Everything you need is onsite for a comfortable stay - including margarita glasses in the freezer ( we used them for margaritas and beer- sorry not sorry). The view is spectacular- even in the winter and the hot tub is wonderful. We plan on making a reservation for same time next year.

    Melissa2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • My daughter and I had an absolutely wonderful time at this special place. Relaxing in the hot tub overlooking stunning vistas was definitely a highlight. The place was very clean and comfortable and came equipped with everything we needed for a nourishing getaway. Thank you so much!

  • Beautiful cabin for a relaxing weekend! We had no issues with cell service for anyone who might be concerned.

  • The best cabin we’ve EVER stayed at, and the best view EVER I might add!!!

    John2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Cabin was everything it was advertised as and more. Views and location were incredible.

    Sean2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • We love love loved it here!!! Total cabin feel. The hot tub on the balcony was our favorite in the morning watching the sun warm up the valley and burn off the low hanging fog. Great views, cozy fireplace, kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make a small Thanksgiving dinner while we were here. Close to local hiking trails. We hiked Lick Creek trail about 30 min north of the cabin - highly recommended. Another spot we loved (it's a bit further away ~1hr south) was Lilly Hop Brewery, if you're able to make the drive it was worth it!

    Emma2019-11-29T00:00:00Z
  • This was our second time staying at this cabin and it was just as perfect as we'd remembered. It's so peaceful, and the amenities like the hot tub and fire pit really make a difference. Can't wait to stay again!

    Elise2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was really nice and the view was spectacular! We almost didn't want to leave to go hiking because it was so beautiful and the hot tub was a great touch. There were lots of games and movies for the evening/if we had had bad weather. We really appreciated the space. It was very easy to find and check-in. Everything was great!

  • Such a serene environment at this cabin. Everything you could need is on the premises. Plenty of firewood, a fire pit, hammock and plenty of outdoor seating, outdoor games like a sandbox for kids and horseshoes for adults, and hiking trails just off the back porch leading to a beautiful babbling brook. The cabin itself is simply and beautifully appointed. We were lucky enough to visit during the holidays, so the Christmas decorations were a lovely touch. The cabin has everything you could possibly need on the inside as well! There was definitely a day that we just didn’t leave the house, curled up next to the fire, and played board games. Highly recommend giving it a whirl - you will not be disappointed!

  • This place was excellent for our family fall break. Enough space for our four kiddos and really comfortable bed for parents. Immaculately kept - not a cobweb anywhere and its a cabin in the middle of the woods!! They had everything we could ever need (to include kids books/games/movies) - plus a table full of local brochures and tips of places to explore. The property is super quiet, private and there is an awesome hiking/horesback riding trail behind the home (plus a creek for when the weather is nice!). We used the fire pit every night and our kids loved playing in the sandbox and swinging on the hammock. Not too far from downtown Oneida and with one Wal-Mart online pick up on the way in - we didn't have to leave the cabin once. Also near some awesome nature trails within driving distance. Would definitely stay here again if the opportunity allows. Thanks Tim + Lisa!!

    Angelina2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • This was the best cabin we have stayed at yet. The layout and appearance was beautiful, they had everything you could think of while staying there. We loved being outside the most. It's such a beautiful area that's private but not too far from town. We spent a lot of time around the campfire and loved all the different seating on the porch. Our grandkids loved the sandbox and horseshoes. We also enjoyed fishing on the island and seeing chimney rocks. We hiked some trails around the cabin too. We will definitely come back here again.

    Brenda2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Tim & Lisa’s cabin was absolutely Amazing! I would have to say out of many cabins we have chosen this was one of our favorites. The pictures on this site does not do the cabin and the land it is on justice! It’s just beautiful!! We made many memories here and hope to come back to make many more! Thank you so much for letting us stay in your little piece of heaven!!!

  • The Florence is a single room under Brian's View. You have your own front porch with a wonderful view and are totally separated from the other units. We rented Brian's View as well and the couple that used The Florence was well pleased with the unit. The unit has a refrigerator, microwave and other necessities for a quick meal. The outside grill is also available too. They have a nice walk down to the unit and the porch is large and spacious. This is a great unit for couple or add on like we did with 10 of us. Anthony

  • We were nervous to stay without reviews but we needed a place on short notice. Rhonda and Ron were amazing hosts! We got in late but Rhonda had sent the door code and directions earlier that day. The house was very clean and everything worked correctly. The house is very comfortable and we felt at home right away. They provided us with free coffee and Rhonda let us know she left some orange juice in the fridge that we could have. They gave us directions to all the trail heads which were super easy to get to, just turn left! The pool table was great and the karaoke machine was hilariously fun. Beds were nice and the bath towels were soft. The garage was empty so were able to store our bikes inside overnight! The fire pit and grill out back were also nice and we had some great evenings spent there. Overall we had a blast and can not wait to return.

  • Very clean and comfortable. Just the right size for 4 adults. A bit of a drive to Big South Fork hiking areas but not too much. We enjoyed our stay.

  • Lisa is a great host. She answered all of our questions in a timely manner. The house was clean and accommodated our family perfectly. Plus it was located close to all the action for UTV riders!

  • We had a wonderful trip and enjoyed the house! Very spacious and enviting. Brimstone is really close.

    Bev2019-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • The place was clean and nice! Had pots and pans, coffee cups, salt, pepper and sugar. Extra trash bags and nice soft blankets were provided. Also had a nice supply of toliet paper and soap as well as plenty of towels and a hair dryer. Very nice place! Comfy living room suite and direct TV - even though we didn't spend much time here. Grill outside on a nice deck. Location was perfect for riding Brimstone - trailhead #1 is literally down the street! The store for buying permits is convenient to this location as well.

  • Lovely cabin and great hosts!

    Robert2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • Mary and Randy are wonderful hosts! They are close by on the property and were very responsive to our needs. The property is beautiful . The cabin was exactly as listed and very well appointed. As described, there is no cell service, wifi or cable so be prepared to entertain yourself . Bring your own favorite games, movies and shower supplies. My single and only disappointment were the beds and bedding which really need to be replaced. We would still stay here again in a heartbeat if we are ever in this area again. Make sure you stop for food , ice or whatever you want to bring first as it is about a 20-30 minute drive to the closest grocery store.

We love this cabin! Perfect view of the mountains from the back deck. In the morning you will see the mist rise up over the river. Unobstructed views of the mountains- all to be enjoyed in the new 8 person hot tub! The cabin is very private and is close to Big South Fork and Historic Rugby. It is only a one mile drive to the trailhead that goes to the confluence of the Clear Fork and New Rivers- half mile hike.
New deck with 8 person hot tub!
Great for kayakers- we are 1 mike to the trailhead leading to the Confluence of the New River and Clear Fork River
  • Really great cabin with an incredible view. I would definitely stay here again

    Anne Marie2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • My sister and I were so excited to surprise my mom with a weekend getaway at Anne’s cabin, but once we arrived the cabin far exceeded our expectations. The views from the property were even better in person. They were breathtaking and pictures did not do them justice. We spent mornings in the hot tub and evenings laughing together on the patio taking in the mountain sunsets. Anne was an absolute delight to communicate with. She was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed to complete our stay. She even made sure to drop by extra laundry detergent. We hope we can come back to stay at her little slice of heaven again!

  • We had a wonderful stay at the peaceful cabin. Spectacular views of the area and everything you need to really relax. I really enjoyed watching the birds and staring out from the comfortable hammock. Great to stay in a place that you can tell the owners really love.

  • Beautiful, clean, and amazing views. Anne was great with communication. It really felt like a home away from home ♥️

  • Awesome space and place to stay.

    Jake2019-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • First and foremost, the view is amazing from the outside deck. What a fantastic location for this cabin. The living area is comfortable and the decor throughout is simple but true to the location. The home is clean and everything functioned properly. We wish we had more time to enjoy all of what was available here - hot tub, the fire pit, the hammock and more. Don't miss an opportunity to stay and enjoy all this place has to offer.

    Erin2019-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • Gorgeous cabin with an amazing view. I came here with three friends from Chicago on a motorcycle trip. Perfect place to make further day trips on and around the area. The hot tub and amenities make it awesome to come back to. Very private and secluded. Wasn’t expecting it to be so well stocked with essentials, we could’ve packed less :)

The Hickok cabin is quite unique with its rustic look of being a real log cabin to the inside with lots of different colors of woods that makes it cozy and welcoming! It features a fully equipped kitchen with seating for 6 and cozy livingroom with a big screen TV, stereo system, dvd player, wifi, and wide slat wood blinds on the windows when privacy is desired. There is a full bathroom downstairs with a tub and the master bedroom with a closet that hold a washer and dryer.
There are two more bedrooms upstairs with a full bath. The barn and horse paddocks are ONLY for the owners use.
This is a small gated community with horse properties that are all owned. There are trails to ride out to right out the driveway. Although you are surrounded by the beautiful Big South Fork Mountains, this cabin is 30 minutes to Oneida Tn for shopping and has a convenience store closely by and a post office also. Sommerset is about a 40 minute drive but offers upscale restaurants of all kinds and shopping like TJ MAXX, which I love!!
  • Was a wonderful place to take our horses and ride the big South Fork
