  • I highly recommend Lee & Paul’s place. This house is very well designed with attention to details. Paul gave us a lot of good tips on the best way to come and helped us to book a very good safari.

  • We had a lovely stay! Fantastic nature and beautiful animals who came and visited us almost everyday, such as zebras, giraffes, kudus etc. The Krüger park was just 25 min away. Paul is an amazing host and were very helpful with everything! We really recommend this place and will hopefully visit it soon again :).

  • Our stay was fantastic. We were already at Les & Paul in 2017. It was our first Airbnb booking ever and we were extremely enthusiastic then as now. The lodge is fantastic and has great facilities. The option to shower, grill and use the pool outside is great. There is everything you need (and more). The location so close to the Kruger and the animals is great. We were visited by a warthog family, kudus and to top it off on the last day even 6 zebras by the pool. Les & Paul are outstanding hosts. Your recommendations for the game drives (definitely with Kruger Pride) and also the night safari followed by a braai (fantastic in the bush, with a campfire, great atmosphere and delicious food) were fantastic and made our vacation an unforgettable experience. We thank them both from the bottom of our hearts and will definitely be back. We can recommend the lodge to 1000%.

    Katja2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Dear Les and Paul, Your wonderful lodge is really an outstanding spot! So close to Kruger and with such an option to watch African wildlife so close! We loved the nature, the animals and especially the tasteful and stylish decor! There was nothing to miss.... We‘ll keep this place in mind and hearts and will be back soon!

Unique, secluded and very close to the Crocodile River, 'Ndida is the ideal nature-escape for those who enjoy privacy, quality and style. This is the true bushveld experience. The river is just a 1-min walk, so listen-out for Hippo and Elephant by day, and Lion and Hyena by night. Two traditional bedrooms (1 queen & 2 single beds) with another queen on the mezzanine – house sleeps 6. Two toilets, 1 bath and 3 showers (2 outdoor). The resident Bushbuck, Warthog and Bushbaby await your arrival.
Architectural gem set deep amongst the trees, and only a 1-min walk from the Crocodile River, and the World-reknown Kruger National Park. Spanning two 2000m2 plots, and bordered on all sides by large areas of pristine bush/parkland, the house offers a level of privacy that is difficult to match anywhere in Marloth Park. The house also sits on the confluence of two dry riverbed systems, so is completely surrounded by dense, jungle-like, riparian woodland – providing much-needed shade in Summer, and exceptional privacy all-year-round. But these tangled vines hoisted between mature Leadwood, Knobthorn and Marulas don't only benefit humans, they're also fantastic cover for birds, and for all the other animals that call 'Ndida home – e.g. Eastern (Yellowspotted) Nicator, Giant Plated Lizard and, the night's most enthusiastic guest (and the cutest), the Lesser Bushbaby (who love banana btw). The heated outdoor showers are a must – even during the mild Lowveld Winter, it's a true privilege being out there whilst a troop of Banded Mongoose scurry past on their daily raid (searching for insects, reptiles and rodents). One of the best locations within Marloth Park – very close to the Crocodile River, but without compromising on privacy. Again, 'Ndida is the true bushveld experience. 'Ndida launched on 29th October 2018, so almost everything inside the house is pretty much still brand new, and also top-quality. Please let us know (in your review) if there's anything we've missed from our inventory – we want it to be perfect.
Marloth Park is situated on the southern border with the World-famous Kruger National Park. The Crocodile River provides the natural border between Marloth and The Big Five, and an electrified game-fence ensures that they stay there (mostly). Having said that, for safety reasons, it is not permitted to walk around Marloth Park at night. During the day however, a walking-safari along the river is a must-do – Hippo, Crocodile and Waterbuck are obvious residents, but large herds of Elephant are also common. Sightings of Lion, Cheetah, Wild Dog, Leopard and Spotted Hyena are less regular, but are still very possible (with a bit of luck). Lots of animals roam freely between the properties in Marloth Park (e.g. Giraffe, Kudu, Zebra, Blue Wildebeest, Bushbuck, Impala, Warthog, Baboon, Vervet Monkey, etc.), and although these animals have become somewhat accustomed to humans, it is important to remember that they are still 'wild' animals and should be respected for that. Marloth's closest entrance-gate to the mighty Kruger National Park is the Crocodile Bridge Gate (15 mins from Gate 2 towards Komatipoort).
  • Amazing location. The pool area is to die for! We had ample wildlife walking past our yard. Great for some down time with your favorite people!

    Lehlogonolo2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • marloth park and Colin's home provide excellent security, comfort, and a location that can't be beat!! AC worked well throughout the house, the outdoor shower is a not to be missed and the pool was clean. Giraffe, Kudu, Spring bock, Baboon and Zebra visitors were just amazing!! being a short drive to the crocodile bridge Kruger entrance makes this the ideal location for your safari!

    Valerie2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks Colin for a wonderful stay. The house was a delight, the wildlife & surroundings were stunning and the proximity to Kruger couldn’t be faulted. All in all a wonderful experience and I will be encouraging others to follow suit. If you’re after a true bush experience this place cannot be faulted. You’re situated in Marloth park, a wildlife conservancy on the border of Kruger Park. Just lazing about the plunge pool in the heat of the day we experienced an abundance of wildlife literally on our doorstep, not to mention the numerous encounters into the evenings. The house is fully equipped for a family or a small group and I could not fault it. Even the odd power cut just added to the true bush experience. The shop within the conservancy has all the basics, but if you plan to stay for a week or so, plan for a weeks worth of shopping and call into one of the hyper markets in Nelspruit on the way up from Johannesburg. Don’t forget the Braai wood & a torch! Many thanks for wonderful trip Mike Tam & Oliver

    Mike2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • This spot is Magical and away from the busy parts of Marloth Park. The bush is beautiful and teaming with animals and bird life. We had a wonderful relaxing stay, did two trips to the Kruger Park nearest gate is about 30 km. So easy access. Really enjoyed plunge pool and Braai area. The absolute best part were the bushbaby’s.

    Lali2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Colin is a fine host especially being away from the property We enjoyed our stay very much It was a great experience

    Jonathan2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Such a fantastic place - we’ll definitely be back!

    Ollie2020-01-14T00:00:00Z
  • Colin was a very caring and attentive host. The home was amazing, nestled in the bush with many animals feeding around the house. We were lucky enough to spot kudu, buck, warthogs, giraffe and baboons and that beautiful bushbaby right at our camp!! We loved the pool, it was a necessity in this heat! Want to give a warning to future guests that I am certain I found several nymph ticks crawling on my pants after a walk down by the Kruger fence... so be cautious and check yourself after walks in the tall grass. We loved our stay! Thanks Colin! 🙏🏼 😊

  • Awesome place, stayed for 5 nights and was absolutely wonderful! Peaceful, clean, stylish and check in was a breeze. Animals visiting everyday and listening to the sounds of nature!

    Jason2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • The house was absolutely amazing. We arrived very late in the evening, but found the house easily. The house was very clean and stocked with all the crockery and utensils you could possibly need for a braai or Sunday lunch roasting. We were lucky to have Zebra and warthog came to pay us a visit. There's enough games to keep busy during the day, swimming plus Netflix. Absolutely enjoyed Mopani, great value for money.

  • We had an amazing experience in this beautiful chalet. Our hosts were incredibly kind and really made us feel right at home and taken care of. Had a powerful full moon night with the sound of the lions roar in the background. Perfect location, next to the Jabula Lodge & Restaurant (best food in town), the Bush Center and Kruger Park. Thank you! Couldn't ask for a better place!

    Vittoria2019-03-21T00:00:00Z
  • Dean, Heilge and Nick were brilliant. Dean’s larger than a Springbok prop, and Nick & Heilge made my arrival seamless, despite me being ahead of schedule. Seriously folks...just real people, being really nice. And the location is under-estimated, under-described and (luckily) under-publicised.

He showed me around and explained everything that’s needed. He got up very early for me to do the check out as I wanted to enter the park early. Great house for a big group of people with a beautiful outside area. I could absolutely see some nice evening and game nights in that house. I was unfortunately just passing through.

    Marloth Park, Mpumalanga, South Africa

Marloth Park has two small shopping centres, which between them offer groceries, butchery, bottle-store, petrol-station, post-office, hardware-store and general supplies. There are a few good restaurants located within Marloth - to name a few- Phumula Lodge, Watergat, The Tin Shack, Aamazing River View and Ngwenya Lodge which is a 5-min drive from Gate 2.Komatipoort is the closest town (15 mins – towards the Mozambique border) and it too has some decent restaurants – e.g. Tambarina, Stoep Café and the Kambaku Golf Club. Malelane is about a 30 minute drive.

!!! AIRBNB RATING OF 4.9/5* AFTER 60 REVIEWS - GUARANTEED SATISFACTION !!! Looking to stay & safari in the thick of the African bush but with all the luxuries and conveniences of home? Lala Ehlathini is a luxury Tree-Top Lodge bordering the world famous Kruger National Park, where animals roam freely around the properties. South Africans seldom stay inside the Kruger Park itself since the camps are fenced off from the wildlife, Marloth Park is where locals go due to its proximity to nature.
Location is key at Lala Ehlathini, being situated on a quiet road at the bottom of the park you are assured peace & quiet. The Lodge is built on stilts so you are in the treetops! The underneath also provides an escape for the animals when the weather turns bad. It is something very special to have the African wildlife literally on your doorstep, and although none of the dangerous game like lion, elephant, rhino and hippo are able to access the park, we understand that this can still be a daunting experience for many on their first trip to the African bush which is why we are sure you will appreciate the house being raised 4m above the ground. Not only does this allow for commanding views over the surrounds, but it also affords you a safe vantage point to appreciate the wildlife without getting too close. And if you are especially fortunate, you might come eye-to-eye with one of the roaming giraffes as they make a quick stop to enjoy a snack from the beautiful bush-willow tree which adjoins the deck! During the day many different animals will roam across the property, the usual crowd include zebra, warthog, ostrich, blue wildebeest and many types of antelope such as kudu, steenbok, duiker and impala and perhaps even the elusive male nyala? You will also hear the fish eagles calling throughout the day as they fish the Crocodile river not far from the lodge. As evening sets in you can often hear the lions calling from the nearby Kruger Park as well as the yelping of the spotted hyena and black-backed jackal. Of course, no African bush experience will be complete without sitting around a bush-fire, so feel free to enjoy using the fire pit away from the house, however we also have a gas barbecue on the deck so you can cook out and enjoy the great outdoors without the risk of an unexpected encounter with one of the “locals”. The house has everything you require for a luxurious bush escape. The main area is Air-conditioned as well as the master bedroom. There is a large 42" TV in the lounge as well as a 32" in the Main Bedroom, both with Full DSTV Satellite channels. The lounge furniture is large and comfortable and there are deck-loungers for sitting outside and just enjoying the bush while animal spotting. The bathroom has bath and shower facilities. ZEBRA ROOM - Queen Bed, TV, Air-con. The “Master Suit” ELEPHANT ROOM - Queen Bed SPRINGBUCK ROOM - Small room with single bed and extra mattress. More suited to Children. * There is also a double sleeper couch in the lounge.
All properties in Marloth Park are large so privacy is guaranteed. The trees also block out any neighboring houses so you will be able to sit back on the large deck with a cold one and enjoy being in nature as you wait for the wildlife to come by for a visit. • What an absolutely outstanding accommodation! Richard and I were thrilled to have discovered Lala. Everything was perfect when we arrived. This home is welcoming, very comfortable and offered all the extra touches one hopes for. The location is wonderful as the park offers many beautiful walks/drives to enjoy the local flora and fauna. We have highly recommended it to our friends. A Family of warthogs even came to say goodbye as we were packing up. Wonderful experience

I could use the kitchen and the común areas. I really enjoyed talking to León and the rest of the staff. Im staying an extra night here. I recommend 100% this place.

    Miriam2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • Leon's space is great, as in the photos. The face of Africa, and is in a place where you can already have an idea of what is expected. Everything was great. Highly recommend.

Marloth Park gives one of the most unique living-in-wild-nature experiences there are.
  • Especially if you want to visit the Kruger and surrounding this place is perfect! The house is absolutely beautiful and very clean. We enjoyed our stay a lot and highly recommend this place.

  • Lovely house. So peaceful and relaxing. Everything you need for a bush breakaway. Nice and close to Kruger national park gates. Good amenities and nice private pool for when it got really hot.

    Riaan2019-11-21T00:00:00Z
  • We had been well received by Trish and Don. Nice stay in the marloth Park. Full of animals to see. A flock of giraffes all near the house.Zebra zerk :) near the entrance of Crocodile Gate. Safe, alarm system in the house. The house is large, well equipped (all for well cooked) so nice to take a shower outside on the balcony on the second floor. Thank you to the hosts.

    Heidi2019-11-13T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful and very special house with a wonderful pool and nice interior. Sometimes Giraffes, Impala or Warthog visiting. We will definitely come back! ☺

    Julia2019-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • My wife and I booked into Jutta’s place for the long weekend for the first time. We had a warm welcome from Trish and Don. All I can say is that it was an exceptional weekend. Everything was up to standard (Accommodation was lovely). Decent rates. Peaceful and relaxing. Not to mention the little splash pool which was an absolute pleasure on very hot days. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be back in no time

    Dillon2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Enjoyable bush experience, close to animals and nature.

    Jan2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • The house is absolutely fantastic. Animals come right past there in the early morning hours and late afternoon. It's a quick 20min drive to the Crocodile Bridge gate at the Kruger. The house had all the amenities you'd need for a lovely stay, including mosquito nets over the beds and lovely fresh and fluffy towels. I would absolutely recommend staying here 100% and hope to come back soon!

    Monique2019-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • Jutta’s place is simply a wonderful experience. The house is completely surrounded by bush, and although there are houses nearby you feel completely private. Every morning the animals (warthogs, mongoose, kudu, wildebeest antelope and more) come to the back of the house. You can hand feed some of them. We recommend buying the grass pellets (48 rand per bag) from the local store and spreading them around to increase the number of animals visiting the house. The indoor fireplace and outdoor wood bbq is a highlight and adds to the ambiance. FANTASTIC experience. Would completely recommend it.

  • Rita's place is amazing, eveything was exactly as stated. It was an experience feeding the Kudos and warthogs that came by. Rita was helpful with setting up safari tours even ordering dinner to the house. Overall a great experience and will stay again next time.

    Joseph2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • Felt like a stay in a 5 star hotel with everything you need and would possibly want. To see the animals so close, having a whirlpool and an outdoor bathroom is amazing!

    Salomé2020-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • Rita’s home is just magical. With two children aged 9 and 7, her house is situated amongst the animals and this gave my children (and ourselves) memories we will all never forget. Rita is an amazing host with thoughtful touches and Linah was great keeping the house clean and tidy which again contributed to a special holiday. Absolutely highly recommend.

    Katrina2020-01-17T00:00:00Z
  • This is an awesome spot especially with the daily visits from the kudu and warthog . The special touches show the care that Rita has put into the home, making a comfortable base to relax at or explore from.

Ochre House is an intimate holiday house designed for couples who love privacy, space and style. It's located in Marloth Park, a unique wildlife conservancy bordering Kruger National Park. Ochre House is set in natural bushland. The outside living area faces south and overlooks a lovely wooded glade crossed by a game trail used by antelopes, zebras & giraffes. Design inspiration is Bauhaus simplicity and minimalism, with a seamless transition between architecture and nature. Less is more.
Ochre House is 120 square metres, with high 3-metre ceilings creating volume, space and abundant natural light. Construction is thick concrete, the roof is steel and the ceiling space is heavily insulated to provide cool comfort in the hot African summers while retaining overnight warmth in our brief and mild winters. It's also fully air-conditioned to keep you comfortable even in the occasional extremes. The main living space features a fully-equipped kitchen, a reclaimed timber dining table and a comfortable, intimate lounge area. There’s a huge 4.5-metre glass wall leading to the patio area, and a spectacular 3.5-metre window seat/daybed with gorgeous bushland outlook … and it’s roomy enough for a small child to sleep (that’s if you’re actually a couple-plus!). Ochre House has one bedroom with king-size double bed, and a light-filled ensuite bathroom incorporating a large walk-in shower with its own bush views. The covered, all-weather patio is elevated, with spectacular bushland panorama and no other structures visible: It’s just you, the African bush, and the passing animals & birdlife. It has a 4.5-metre plunge pool, a custom-made stainless steel hibachi grill, and a spacious outdoor seating area. The patio catches the morning sun for sunrise coffee or breakfast, but by midday it’s all bathed in cool, welcome shade.
Marloth Park is a unique wildife conservancy bordering Kruger National Park at the Crocodile River. Many iconic African animals roam free in the bush around Ochre House, including zebras, giraffes, wildebeest and many species of antelopes. And for birders, the native African birdlife is astonishing in numbers and diversity.
  • Ochre house was easily the nicest Airbnb we have ever stayed in. It was clean, stylish and in a great location. In addition to that, Les and Paul were extremely friendly and welcoming. They assisted us on booking safaris (where we saw the big 5 and cheetahs) and gave us lots of advice for our self-drive day. I highly recommend choosing Ochre House for your Kruger stay, you will not be disappointed. Thanks again, Roch and Ben

    Rochelle2020-01-17T00:00:00Z
  • What a gem! It’s not often that I start looking at dates for the next trip back to the same place but I’ve done that for this one. We got exactly what we wanted and needed: nature, serenity, calmness, comfort and then some! During our 4 night stay, we went on a wonderful, full day Kruger game drive, recommended by Paul and Les, other days we lazed about in apartment where some kudu paid and impala paid us a visit. Paul’s quick responses and advise where also super helpful. Thank you so much!

    Khosi2020-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • If you are having second thoughts about this place, you should stop and book it! The house is just perfect. Very clean, modern decor, spacious and a great environment. Although it is not ‘inside’ Kruger, this is not a problem as it is very close to one of the main gates. They have private safaris that can pick you up at your doorstep which is very convenient. But getting back to the house itself, it has everything you need to stay as long as your heart (and time) allow you. From inside the house you can see (and heard) nature in all directions, very peaceful. It has a fantastic pool outside and all you need to prepare a great BBQ. One of the things we loved about this place is that you can see (and touch some) animals (zebras, kudus, impalas, all kinds of birds, bush babies) right there, at your door. Les and Paul are very nice hosts, they helped us with so many tips about the region, booked our safari and were very welcoming. Hope we can come back soon again! Naíla & Alexandre

    Naíla2019-12-25T00:00:00Z
  • Paul’s and Les’s place is absolutely amazing! No need to look further! This place is located in gated community- surrounded by plenty of animals. The place is 15 -20 min from the Crockodial Gate at Kruger which makes it so easy to be there early in the morning for some exciting animals watching. Paul helped us a lot with building our self drive plan and his expertise is of value! The house itself is so beautifully designed and in serenity with nature! We highly recommend this place and can’t wait to come again for a visit!

    Orly2019-11-05T00:00:00Z
  • Ochre House? Psst, we won’t tell because we would love to keep this true gem as a secret for ourselves. Frankly, if you love rustic traditional bush architecture, then you should avoid Ochre House at all times. If in contrast you have a liking for „form follows function“ and „Bauhaus“ and ask yourself how to combine this liking with a perfect safari experience, then Ochre House is your place to be! You will enjoy the clean simplistic styling as we did and you will be overwhelmed by the caring attitude of your knowledgeable hosts. 10 stars out of 5! (#noadvertising - this is my independent opinion!)

    Ute2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you Paul for hosting my husband and I at your amazing place! We only stayed for two nights but were fortunate enough to experience so much in that short time. From feeding the zebras, kudus and warthogs, visits from the giraffes, emu and so much more. Also, we can not speak highly enough of your hospitality Paul! Cheers.

    Jeni2019-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • The Ochre House is an experience unlike any other. The sophisticated architecture and design of the home give you a feeling of being in a James Bond Movie. The hospitality that Les & Paul provide exceeds that of 5-star hotels. All of this combined with the nature that surrounds you make The Ochre House a unique lifetime experience!

    Rogelio2019-05-11T00:00:00Z
  • Best decision made. Will 10/10 do it again. Recommend for all couples looking for a getaway weekend/week etc. The Hosts are outstanding. PS try the bush braai, grand kruger spa and ask for Kerry (best game drive ever) 😊

This house has probably the best views of the famous Crocodile River and into Kruger Park itself. You can spend all day on our extended deck and watch the big game like elephant come and go at the river. Some guests saw the entire Big 5 from the deck while sipping cocktails. This is really a special house. Very safe as deck is raised off the ground Let us look after your holiday with a manager who lives in the park on call to help with anything. The house can be serviced daily or upon request.
Picture this. Directly overlooking Crocodile River and Kruger Park, awaken to the “sound of Africa” as our resident pair of fish eagles proclaim this stretch of river as their own and out onto the deck to check as the permanent hippo pod settle back into the river after a night of foraging and the crocodiles on the sandbanks catching the early morning sun. Relax over breakfast and enjoy the traffic as the animals come down to the river in front of you. Expect regular visits from elephant, buffalo, rhino, water buck among a host of other game while you prepare for your day ahead. Plan your trip into Kruger as due to our position in Marloth Park between the Crocodile and Malelane gates it allows to enter in one gate and leave through the other so not back tracking on any routes and getting to see as much of the park as possible. Or spend the day in Marloth safely walking in the African bush or visit our fenced private reserve “Lionspruit” to find the ruling pride of lions among others of the Big 5. Or simply just relax on the deck with a good book while keeping an eye on the river activity and awaiting regular visits in the garden from zebra, warthogs and even giraffe. Whatever you do ensure you get back to the house as afternoon becomes evening and enjoy sundowners with spectacular sunsets over Kruger Park directly in front of the house. Night is spent either at the fire pit enjoying a barbecue or once again on the deck listening to the night shift. Expect to hear the contact calls to each other of the hippo, the unmissable sound of the hyena and the thrilling and unmistakable call of the lions. Keep your eyes on the garden though as we usually get a visitor or two from a silent kudu to “Arnold” the resident duiker who lives behind the house before retiring to bed in eager anticipation of another fabulous day ahead. If you want to learn the secret of where South African's holiday and experience an inexpensive but real safari experience then Majuli River Lodge is the ideal place. We hope we cover everything below but please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have or if we can offer advice on your safari experience. The House You rent the entire house to yourselves. You will never have to share. It is located with the Crocodile River and Kruger Park directly in front of you. This is rare and similar to a beach front property. There is a fence separating you from the Big Game that come up though so it means you can get to see and photograph animals like elephant metres away but still in a safe environment. You are surrounded by bush so expect regular visits in the garden too. Zebra, kudu and giraffe are common visitors. It has two air conditioned bedrooms with a queen size bed in one and two singles in the other. There is a sleeper couch in the living room which allows up to 6 people to stay. There are two bathrooms with one shower (there is an outside shower too for when it gets hot). There is a fully kitted out kitchen with everything you need (oven, hob, fridge freezer, coffee machine, kettle, plates, pots, cutlery) for self catering. A trip to South Africa is not complete without a bush braai and we have a fully lit fire pit outside with all the utensils needed for a memorable barbecue in the African bush. Or if it gets hot why not jump into our splash pool to cool down. The best part of the house is the large secure decking area upstairs. This has over 3kms of uninterrupted views over the Crocodile River and Kruger Park. With other houses you have to drive around to get the views whereas you will have them right in front of you. The large deck is where you will spend all your time and is accessed through the fold away doors in the living room. There is a small bar there with fridge to keep your drinks cool and on hand. Being raised has another important benefit. I remember being nervous my first time in the bush, especially at night, but being on the deck allows you to experience all the bush has to offer without the feeling of being too exposed out in the open. Our manager, Maritza, is a local from the bush and a real star. She lives very close by and is only a phone call away. She can book guided tours, replace bedding and towels, offer any advice about the park or just answer any questions you may have. She is there to help so if you have any problems or you need anything, just give her a call. The house is fully alarmed and linked to a 24 hour security company in the park for added confidence. Marloth Park Marloth Park is a unique place in South Africa. It’s a 1500 hectare residential wildlife conservancy in natural bush right on the doorstep of Kruger with its own wildlife population, including zebras, impala, kudu, wildebeest, giraffes, warthogs, and several other species. It has two small shopping centres for food and other provisions off-licence, and a fuel station. There’s also three excellent pubs, each with family style restaurants where you can eat or drink and talk to the locals. Marloth also has a municipal area with a large public swimming pool that’s great for kids and adults alike. Kruger Park Marloth Park adjoins Kruger Park but we are only a 20 minute drive to the Crocodile Bridge Gate which is the very best region of Kruger for both variety of animal species and for density of game. The road from Crocodile Bridge Gate to Lower Sabie Rest Camp is famous and you could easily see the Big 5 on this road alone. The two main ways people visit Kruger from Majuli River Lodge. • You can self-drive inside Kruger in your own car. A standard rental car is fine. • You can be picked up right from the house in an open safari vehicle by a fully-accredited and experienced Kruger guide. We can arrange this when you arrive or in advance of your visit. Other activities in the area • Tiger fishing • Elephant back safari • Horseback safari • Quad biking • Spa treatments in Marloth Park • Golf • Mountain biking
Marloth Park, in which Majuli Lodges are located, is a unique wildlife conservancy and is fast becoming one of South Africa best tourist destinations. It's 1500 hectares of natural bush land, and abundant wild game. It borders Kruger park. Many wildlife species will visit you right at the house, including several gazelle species, zebras, giraffes and wildebeest. Although well equipped you will feel a unique African bush experience.
  • A wonderful stay in a fantastic location. The house were not the most modern, but more than good four our stay. Dean was a perfect housekeeper worth gold for us. We met a lot of animals within 5 minutes walk from the house. And of cours lot more in Kruger. Highly recommended.

  • It was a great experience near Kruger Park! The check in was very easy. The house has everything that you need. We could see the animals on Kruger Park just from the house. We saw elephants, girafes and hippos.

  • Perfect getaway with the most amazing views. Braaing with warthogs, kudus, giraffes and monkeys around you is absolutely mind blowing. We 4 had a blast.

  • Wow wow wow, that deck with that view. Loved the lapa with all the visiting animals. We braaied with warthogs, kudu, monkeys and giraffe around us. Fantastic 4 days

  • This is a great place to stay IN Kruger! Each evening we were there, several zebras walked right past our front door. The upper deck is perfect for viewing (elephants!) and meals. Two couples and a 3-year-old stayed and we had plenty of room. The kitchen is well-equipped for making meals.

    David2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Location Location Location! This was a once in a lifetime place. We enjoyed staying here so much. Listening to all the animals at night was a highlight. We saw so many animals during our stay.. zebras, hippos, monkeys, bush babies, elephants, impalas and giraffes! All this from the observation deck. We had everything we need to make breakfast and dinner but you may want to bring your own oils and spices as there was none provided. We were there during a heat wave so the cooling pool was a great amenity. Overall a great place!

    Priscilla2019-11-08T00:00:00Z
  • We did not want to leave the Kruger Park and head back to the city immediately. So we booked into Derrick's place for one more night to listen to the sounds of the Kruger and enjoy the scenery over the Crocodile River. We arrived late in the evening, however we made sure to spend some time relaxing on the deck listening to lion, hyena and hippos through the rest of the evening. We would have loved to have spent an extra night. This was a great way to slowly wean ourselves off the Kruger and head back home. But I would like to arrive before a Kruger visit as well, so that I can get an early morning into the park the next day. The experience was immersive and true to the nature of a great outdoor experience in nature.

    Tyrone2019-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • The deck is a great place to relax and watch the Crocodile river in Kruger Park. Saw a lot of hippos and elephants during our stay, as well as animals and birds right on our doorstep.

Wild animals move around freely around the house and in Marloth Park, they can be seen right from the front door. Different game can be seen which includes; giraffe, kudu's, zebra's, blue wildebeests and more.
Maningwe lies in Marloth Park a 17.5 square kilometer nature reserve which share a border with the Kruger National Park. Self drive trips can be taken along the banks of the Crocodile River which offers amazing views and where the big 5 can be spotted. Game drives to the Kruger National Park in an open vehicle can be arranged as well as Tiger fishing on the Komati River.
  • This is a modern 2-bedroom 2-bathroom bush house with every convenience you could want. Secluded and very private tucked away on a quiet road, but still close to river, bush centre, gate etc - really ideal location Aircon was awesome and kept us cool in the 39 degree heat - also WiFi , DSTV and Netflix which teens enjoyed Pool although small is excellent - we spent many happy hours “wallowing” as we watched duiker, bush buck, kudu, warthog etc come past to enjoy the pellets we put out for them - also saw lots of birds and a bush baby in the evening who came to enjoy the banana slices we put in the tree Ideally located as well for Kruger - 15 minute drive to gate and close to Komatipoort for grocery shopping or to enjoy famous Mozambique prawns which we did at Tambarina (recommended by host and really good) Also small convenience shop in Marloth (Marlothi Centre) and really excellent butchery with great meat and chicken for our braai which we enjoyed We will certainly be back and can highly recommend Maningwe for your next stay in Marloth Park

  • We had the most magical time. It was relaxing & peaceful. The beds were the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in. Everything was as expected & more. We loved the daily visits from the wildlife & looked forward to who would be visiting us each day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maningwe & we will definitely be back!

  • Wonderful place! Such a tranquil and stylish space that you really can relax in! The air conditioning really made it pleasant in the unforgiving african heat.

  • Inge was so so fast responding to all of our requests and needs. Super friendly and full of great local tips. We had such a great stay at Maningwe, the house was super clean and well equipped. Beds, pillows and comforters were damn heavenly good👍👍👍👍👍

  • Amazing place we really enjoyed our stay.

  • Brand new renovation - very clean, modern, and comfortable. We didn't use all the amenities but the wifi worked great, the A/C ran cool, we had plenty of water pressure, the kitchen had what we needed for the simple meals we prepared (and likely enough for more complicated meals, we just didn't attempt much), and we had plenty of towels and kitchen linens. Bonus, the couches are comfy and they have provided plenty of luxiously soft throw blankets for chilly nights. From the yard we saw a warthog, some kudu, a steenbok, some bushbuck, a civet, and bushbabies. We feed the larger game the park-approved pellets and the bushbabies and civet some banana slices - they appeared both nights at sundown as soon as we put the bananas out and were brave enough to come within a few meters of us. The kudu ate from our hands - everything else stayed at least five meters away. House is a bit secluded from neighbors so it's easy to hear only the sounds of nature to truly relax. Highly recommend this place - especially if you want a very cozy, clean inside with wildlife directly outside.

  • Place is as described and more. Well appointed and very clean. Inge's place has everything you need, a home away from home, very close to the Kruger Park. Inge is a super responsive host, replying almost immediately to queries. I would highly recommend Inge's place and would definitely stay here again.

We built this place for our own weekend getaways which you can see from the eclectic nature of the design and decorations. It is colorful and full of life right in the middle of the bush with regular visits by kudu, zebra, wildebeests and more plus countless birds. The bedrooms have air conditioning and on the back deck we have a splash pool for cooling off in the summer. The house is very private and very comfortable.
Two bedrooms and a sleeper couch in the living room upstairs provide sleeping for up to 6 while a loft bed can be used for a 7th guest. We have 2 bathrooms, one with a tub and one with a shower, plus an outdoor shower. The kitchen is equipped with all you will need to prepare your meals, though the antique stove does not have an oven. All bedding and towels are provided for your use during your stay.
Marloth Park is a wildlife conservatory with freely roaming animals and low density housing which gives you a unique opportunity to see animals in a nearly natural environment. There are a few shops and restaurants in the Park that provide for basic needs with a bigger selection in nearby Komatipoort and Malelane. Crocodile Bridge entrance to Kruger Park is a mere 15 minute drive away.
  • The house and outside area and amenities are awesome and has a great location in lovely surroundings. We had a lot of game coming close to the house. We would certainly visit here again.

    Sylvia2020-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • The house is exactly what you see. It’s settled in the African bush, with a great splash pool. Awesome to have the animals (Kudu, warthog, impala) around in the afternoons. We did have some problems with electricity, but this is South Africa after all, and it is in the Bush, so it is to be expected at times. Overall, a great experience.

    Richard2020-01-10T00:00:00Z
  • The whole weekend was MAGICAL. We enjoyed the house. Fully equipped with linens and kitchen things. The upstairs porch/balcony😍😍😍. We enjoyed the yard. We were visited by a warthog, and two types of antelope. My four year old son enjoyed an impala eating out of his hand. Lenore, who was the local contact, was AMAZING. She was very sweet and accommodating. I’d recommend this home!!! Thank you!!! Two tips for first timers… if you purchase the Wi-Fi it most likely will not work in the home. You will have to go a little bit further into town to get reception. Plan to do any important Wi-Fi business at times when you are on the road. But don’t let this turn you off... Rodney’s home is exactly as described.

    Phillips2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • A gem tucked away in the bush along the lion camp fence, ample space, neat & clean. Amazing attention to detail, African/Indian decor & stunning works of art & sculptures. From the doors & their handles to the coal stove in the kitchen, the house had stunning ambience. Plenty of sleeping & entertaining spaces. An entertainers dream, with a stunningly kitted out kitchen. Perfect sized pool, with amazing views whether you’re braaing at the front or sitting upstairs on the patio.

    Samantha2019-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • Great place near the park.

    John2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely home for relaxation and unwinding. Hidden in the bush making it private to sit and enjoy the many animals that come walking and feeding by the verandas

At Rafiki's Resthouse, you find the much desired factors that we ourselves have been searching for years, all together: traditional bush style, location (river and Kruger Gate both very close); privacy (no prying neighbours); large private garden; swimming pool +splash pool; full daily cleaning to keep out unwanted insects. Self catering but cooking for you can be arranged. The exceptional visits of many different animals who love the shaded garden and private space are our trump card.
At Rafiki's Resthouse, we welcome you in our home as friends. The exceptional visits of many different animals who love our shaded garden and private space is what we love here. We do not have a grey flat building style but respect the traditional bush style, yet with all the comfort. If you love to go to Kruger, even for only a few hours, being so close to the correct exit of Marloth Park saves you 30 mins one way. That half an hour is valuable to us when we have to get up very early in the morning for a safari drive. We offer the possibility to have meals prepared for you. Usually the guests do the shopping unless it is their first evening and no previous guests are leaving the day of your arrival. Our house has 4 bedrooms and three bathrooms (all with AC; all rooms also have ceiling fans), a living room downstairs (with AC) and a video lounge upstairs (with fan), a dining space and a fully equipped kitchen. All rooms have at least one window that is mosquito and baboon proof when left open. This is rare in Marloth Park but we consider fresh air essential in this climate. However, in South Africa, people live outside : we have two large covered game viewing decks, a splash pool, a rock pool, a boma (=BBQ place) and best of all a very large garden with impressive large trees. This and the location is what makes our place unique. Our trump card is the combination of closeness to the river (2mins walk) and closeness to Kruger entrance gate (12 mins; from some houses it can be up to 25 mins' drive more). Our garden also is a birds’ paradise. For the real bush lovers, we have installed a safari tent on the upper viewing deck. At night, you can hear the bush sounds even better. We also have developed a game for safari novices and more experienced safari goers. We have a borehole, so if there is no water from municipality (drought, municipality pumps broken), we always have water.
Next to our exceptional garden, our second trump card is that the closest entrance gate to Kruger National park is only 12 mins drive away while from some other houses in Marloth Park, it might take half an hour. In just a few hours, you might be lucky enough to see the Big Five! Rafiki's Resthouse does not have any street noise (one can faintly hear the river though), but is close enough to the main road for quick shopping. No long dirt roads every time you leave the house.
  • Possibly my favorite place I've ever stayed! Got wildlife experiences regular visitors to Kruger would never get. Bushbaby, gennet, and much up close. No zebras as we'd hoped here but dozens within Marloth Park(also 7 giraffes!). The housekeeper Betty kept everything clean and cooked us a special meal on the fire. Pool felt great in the warm afternoons.

    David2020-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • As advertised, clean, in nature, the place is well taken care of. Animals all around ... A lovely and very well maintained place. THank you Gerda . :-)

    Edward2020-01-30T00:00:00Z
  • Visited with family from the USA and had a most enjoyable stay with some great sightings both at the house and in the KNP. Most enjoyable stay and hope to return in the future as really nice spot and super convenient if you are wanting to visit KNP. Thanks Gerda and thanks to the ever smiling Betty for looking after us.

    Grant2020-01-09T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you Gerda for the great stay at your awesome place. Location perfect. Close to the Kruger National Park. Really just a fence separating Marloth Park from KNP so really great for viewing the wild at the river. Thank you for the regular updates each day. So peaceful as the kudu, warthogs, bushbaby and bush buck visited often at the house. Giraffe and Zebra grazing just down the road. Monkeys jumping trees. Our experience was absolutely unforgettable. Betty our host was just amazing. Always making sure that all was good, thank you Betty. Loved your smile and your infectious laugh. Rafiki Resthouse is highly recommended, has all the amenities. Perfect place, perfect location.

    Lucille2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Gerda is a top excellent host. She responded quickly and was very helpful in providing solutions for the questions we had. Here response was always clear and nice. Beforehand she provided lots of information not only about the House and the visiting animals but also about Marloth Park, Kruger Park and other surroundings. Betty also was very helpful and her smile only is worth a ton of gold. Gerda has been pro-active where ever she could e.g. on power loadshedding. The presence of the animals around the house only is already worth to stay at Rafiki’s. We had a perfect house for a wonderful (Christmas) time.

    Luuk2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • Marloth Park is absolutely beautiful with all the wildlife roaming around freely. Rafiki’s Guesthouse is a real home away from home with a warm welcome from Betty, the caretaker. It’s the perfect place for excursions into Kruger Park and walks around Marloth itself. Nice cold air conditioning in every room, great WiFi reception. Definitely recommend this wonderful place.

    Teddy2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • I have stayed at Gerda's house a few days ago. The photos are as they appear on the page. The house is huge and has everything you need and even more. There were 8 people including 2 children. There is a supermarket and other basic services nearby. The location is very good is like a continuation of the Kruger, (giraffes, zebras, monkeys etc) turning around the house. The gateway to the nearby Kruger. A separate chapter deserves Gerda and Betty, kind, always ready to guide us, to the smallest details (every day he informed us where there were animals near the house to see), how we were driving from Johannesburg, he told us where it was convenient to stop or no, what was the best way to arrive etc. Betty, divine when we arrived she was waiting for us with a smile, and how it was night and we had not bought any food accompanied us back and forth to a nearby city !!!!! It was always, for what we needed it, we prepared dishes Typical of the place. Excellent experience and I totally recommend it (we were looking forward to staying a few more days) but it had no place.

Built in 1996, Mindara is one of the original lodges in Marloth Park. An abundance of wild animals and birds often frequent the private back yard and check out what is for dinner. The large braai area is great for entertaining just like the locals do. Everyday is a new adventure without even leaving the property. No trip to South Africa is complete without visiting Kruger Park. The Crocodile Bridge gate entrance is only minutes away.
Marloth Park runs alongside the Crocodile River in Kruger Park. Many of the animals that you will see at Kruger are also in Marloth. Zebras, wildebeasts, a variety of antelope, warthogs, monkeys, birds as well as leopards and lions can all be viewed from the park. Expect to be thrilled beyond what you imagine!
Marloth Park is a secure park area right next to Kruger Park. It offers many amenities to the guests. Near the lodge are restaurants, coffee shops, fuel stations, grocery stores, liquor stores, meat market, gift shops, ATMs, swimming pools, tennis courts, playground and even a hairdressing shop. Most facilities accept major credit cards. Take a drive along the river road and see wildlife close up. The lookout area is perfect for viewing amazing scenery, animals and sunsets. Meet others there who have come to experience South Africa from Marloth Park.
  • Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!!! That's all I can say about Mindara. It was way above our expectations. It had everything you could wish for and was full of character and warmth. We were constantly visited by small herds of zebra, kudu, warthog, mongoose and guinea fowl. We would have loved a longer visit. The AirBnB is also incredible value for money when compared to others in Marloth Park. It has aircon and WiFi whereas very few other properties have this. Oh and a small plunge pool. We will be back with friends and relatives in the future.

    Sue2020-03-20T00:00:00Z
  • Mindara Lodge was really a fantastic place to stay. It has everything you need including a braai area, a washing machine and aircons in each room. It was clean and tidy. The pool will really be relaxing for the hot days. And the balcony with the netting really makes for a lovely spot to enjoy the scenery even in the evenings. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine which was a lovely touch as well. The yard is big and very inviting for the animals with lots of marula trees surrounding it. We will definitely be back soon!

  • I did not meet Courtenay, but she made check in easy with detailed instructions, including photos. She also followed up to make certain all went smoothly at check in, as well as later during my stay to see if I needed anything. Which I did not, because Mindara Lodge was fully equipped with everything I needed. Of course, proximity to Kruger NP was the reason I chose to stay at Mindara Lodge. But even on those very rainy days when I did not visit the park, impala, warthog, baboons, kudu and zebra visited me at the Lodge (Giraffe were on the road). Without a doubt, Mindara is the perfect choice for day visitors to KNP entering either by Crocodile Bridge or Malelane.

    Allen2019-12-11T00:00:00Z
  • My stay at Mindara Lodge, Courtenay's place, was perfect. The house has everything you need, with impeccable cleanliness and a peaceful place close to nature. In the morning the animals come to the garden and interact shyly with you. I would love to return to stay at Mindara Lodge.

    Sheila2019-11-15T00:00:00Z

Enjoy the comfort that Khumbula iAfrica is offering - A true bush veldt experience. Great for nature lover. On walking distance from the river, to view the big 5, or have a sun downer while you are overlooking the crocodile river. Nowhere else you can sit on your patio with a glass of south african wine, enjoy the animals who are visiting you. The house has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a swimmingpool, to cool down on warm days. Alle bedrooms have aircon and free Wifi available.
On the ground floor you will find a cozy kitchen with its own thatched roof, a granite dining table with bar stools. There is a sitting area with sofa in african style available. In the fully equipped kitchen (toast grill, refrigerator, oven, microwave, coffee machine, toaster etc..) you will find everything you need. The main bedroom on the ground floor has a queenbed, large wardrobe, dressing table and air conditioning. The bedroom opens onto a private bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. A 2nd bedroom on the ground floor is also equipped with a queenbed, spacious wardrobe and air conditioning. The separate bathroom is accessible to everyone and has a shower, sink and toilet. On the upper floor is a 3th bedroom with two single beds, wardrobe and air conditioning. There is also a 3th bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. On the other side - open area - is a cozy TV area with double sofa bed. On the upper floor there are several fans, which provide cooling in hot days. Naturally, all beds are made and the linen is changed every 2 to 3 days. Bath and kitchen towels are provided and changed regularly. On the spacious terrace on the ground floor is a wooden seating. The swimmingpool is open all year and gives you an opportunity to cool off on hot days. In the garden is a barbecue place (braai) overlooking the park land immediately adjacent to Khumbula iAfrica. With a good glass african wine, you will enjoy the visit of zebra, giraffe and / or other animals. In the evening you can enjoy the African sounds and the romantic atmosphere in our boma. Our staff Zac & Shirley welcome you to Khumbula iAfrica. They will try to make your vacation unforgettable. Shirley makes your beds, wash the dishes and keep the house clean. Zac is responsible for the maintenance of the house, the garden and pool. He light the oil lamps in the garden and he extinguishes the campfire and oil lamps when you go to bed. This allows you to enjoy your holidays without worries
Marloth Park is a Conservancy and as such we prefer to maintain quietness. Evenings in the bush are a time to appreciate the night sounds and listen to the call of the nightjar, to the roar of the lions and the call of hyenas in Lionspruit and the Kruger National Park. Please be considerate of permanent residents and other who are visiting Marloth Park for a quiet bush holiday
  • The stay at the lodge was absolutely amazing. It was a relaxing home with all the amenities we need. Shirley was very welcoming and hospital, and did a fantastic job cleaning the house. We saw many animals when we were swimming in the evening and early in the morning. I’d recommend this lodge for family and a group of friends.

  • What an amazing place this is, the interior is very authentic with some lovely touches, it's very clean and welcoming. Shirley and Zac looked after us wonderfully from a discreet distance (thank you) The outside space is lovely with a pool. We could not believe how many animals came into the garden for feeding and also how many more just roamed about free it was truly wonderful. This place is an ideal location for visiting Kruger Park. We highly recommend this and would definitely stay again. Thank you for a wonderful time - Jayne & Tony (UK)

The house has 5 air cons, full HDTV, a FULLY stocked kitchen, 2 fridges, chest freezer and dishwasher. Early morning you can watch the sunrise and passing game from your unique outdoor shower experience, or feed game directly from the deck. • Great place with lots of added extras for self catering both in the house or out for the day. Particularly loved the industrial sized ice blocks that kept our food and drink super cold when we were out in Kruger all day! Spacious and comfortable with great wifi and TV with all channels should you need it. Lovely splash pool and outside area to relax and greet animals that come to visit. All in all enjoyed our stay very much, thank you Andre.

    Very peaceful and quiet
  • The house was exceptional and so much bigger than we expected. Downstairs bedrooms and lounge room each have their own air conditioner and bathroom. Kitchen is very well set up. The pool and outside area are fantastic. The viewing deck is incredible with a view to Crocodile River and animals come at dusk. Crocodile Gate - entrance to Kruger Park is about a 25-minute drive. In a few blocks down the road from the house we saw 30 giraffes roaming free - and it was amazing!

  • We loved our stay at Dennis and Inge’s lodge. The lodge has a fantastic view of the Crocodile River and viewing tower is the perfect place for sundowners. Dennis and Inge have added a new bathroom upstairs so that every room has its own ensuite. They have also built a new swimming pool which has lovely large child friendly steps along 2 sides. Inge’s warm hospitality made our stay extra special. She baked lovely rusks and scones for us and lots of yummy treats for the children. Inge is wonderful with children and they really enjoyed feeding the fish, birds and the bush baby with her. Thank you for making the kids feel so welcome. We look forward to returning next year.

    Caroline2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • We highly recommend Dennis and Inge place. Their place is just amazing and with such a beautiful view of Kruger's River. They were always so kind and so friendly with us. We felt all time like home. Thanks Inge and Dennis for sharing with us this amazing place. Looking forward to return on next holidays!

    Andrea2019-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • Very spacious comfortable home and real bush experience with an amazing view deck overlooking the Crocodile River. Beautiful new pool and a new third bathroom which aren’t in photos. Dennis and Inge are next door and available for anything you need. Most generous, caring hosts. Nothing is too much for them. Inge leaves delicious baked treats throughout your stay. Very well maintained and always adding new upgrades. The photos don’t do the house justice. It’s really much nicer and brighter than it looks in the photos. Also bicycles for guests to use as well as lots of games and activities to keep adults and kids busy. We can’t wait to go back again!

    Ann2019-07-11T00:00:00Z
  • This house is a dream. It is spacious and very neat. The waterfront terrace overlooking the river to observe the animals of Kruger Park at any time is quite exceptional. Great comfort and home Denis and Inge care: come pick you up when you are lost, dinner prepared, barbecue on ... everything is ready! They live next door and are very available. They gave us very good advice on the activities to do and took care of all our reservations. Too practical! Denis gave us a lot of information about fauna and flora. We could not use the pool which seemed nice but in June ... it's very cool! Attention, the entrance of the park (Crocodile bridge) is about 25 mm car. But we loved it and we would have liked to stay longer. An excellent address ... without moderation!

Given the high temps in December these were a real luxury … and even in the heat of the day the pool was cool. A big treat was having wildebeest, kudu, impala, warthog and giraffe in the front garden and around the house! Jacqui is a super host and quick to respond to messages. We highly recommend this stay. Thank you Jacqui for letting us share your little piece of heaven.

  • Camille and Gus are great hosts and helped us with our Kruger bookings etc even before we reached South Africa. Inspite of her busy work schedule, she was always available on phone/ WhatsApp even while we were in different time zones. Kudos to her hospitality!! The house, words won't do justice to this space . Each and everything is thoughtfully placed and you won't find anything missing. The kitchen is fully equipped and so is the mini bar ;) Laura, the local caretaker is just as wonderful as helped us with a late check-in ( 10pm ish)!!! Mind you everything closes in Marloth by 6-7pm but she was super sweet and assisted us to the house late in the night and even got some lemonade for us! Camille kept in touch with us , post our stay too and Gus, occasionally checked on us and was available at all times:) they are incredible people and we will keep recommending their stay to anyone visiting Kruger and looking for a great bush experience. It's like a secure cottage in Marloth with all security and alarm systems in place but with just as much wilderness . Thank you for everything. Just a suggestion: it would be great if a water filter can be installed for us, outsiders as I know that locals are okay with tap water :) Thanks again!
