My stay with John was perfect. The house is beautiful and near everything in Kingston (perfect for queens students) and John is a really nice and welcoming person. I highly recommend and would love to stay there again.

I stayed with John in Kingston for 2 weeks. It was fantastic. John is very accommodating and very knowledgeable about the city. His accommodation is very clean and stylish. It is in the perfect location for anyone visiting Kingston. 7 mins walk to heart of downtown and 12 mins walk to queens/Kingston General. Highly recommend!

It was such a pleasure to stay in John's place. The place looks exactly how it is on the photos. The place is very clean and well-kept. I had the entire attic by myself. Excellent shower, comfy bed and very private space. John is a caring and attentive host, very nice gentlemen. His home is full of character and warmth. The space is very clean and cozy and has all the comforts of home. I felt like I am home. Very close to downtown and walking distance from waterfront and restaurants. I would highly recommend this Airbnb.

This airbnb was wonderful - the space is large, comfortable and clean and it's the whole upper floor so there is privacy. John is wonderful, he was such a kind and considerate host. The location is a few blocks away from the lake so it is really lovely, and an easy walk downtown or to campus. Would highly recommend this place!

Sparkling clean. Warm. Comfortable. Check-in/check-out was a breeze. Quiet. And while I didn't get to take full advantage of them, excellent amenities (i.e. fully functional kitchen, Keurig etc.)

The upper level apartment was absolutely amazing and exceeded our expectations. It was close to the university and downtown, very clean, and Jason was easy to communicate with. Check in was extremely efficient and there were several nice touches including Netflix, Keurig, and a guide book with multiple suggestions for anything you might need in Kingston. Cannot express how much this place exceeded expectations. Such a great stay!

This accommodation was amazing. Very spacious and comfortable. I loved the historic features of this home. The “breakfast” provided was super generous and the coffee yummy. I totally recommend staying here (except not on the weekend when we want to come back!)

I have stayed at Romy’s place a few times and have booked in for more weekend stays over the next few months. Romy’s place is exactly as pictured, with a cool interior brick wall, super-high ceilings, claw foot bathtub, and all the amenities one would need. Communication is great, the place is always very clean, and the flat itself is quiet and fantastically located - about a 1/2 kilometre to downtown and a 10-15 walk to the main Queen’s campus. Karen and Dan were very helpful, and the added amenities were great. The only thing that could have been better was high speed, unlimited wifi. We couldn’t watch Netflix because it kept buffering.

I booked this Air BnB for friends visiting from out of town. The location was great, walking distance to everything needed and driveway to park the car. It met their needs perfectly for the one night!

You can expect not only the best host we have encountered here on Airbnb but a very special, quiet, and peaceful island filled with tiny nooks to explore! fires by night Swimming by day, it really is a place where you can leave all your problems back on the mainland! Donna has not only been prompt with her responsiveness but also gracious and understanding to any questions you might have of her. so go ahead and give her you business, believe you me you will not be disappointed by her island!

A wont find a greater get away if you’re looking to unplug from the world and have four legged family members. My dogs had just a memorable time as we did running up and down being off leash the whole week. A perfect balance of camping/cottaging that is hard to find. Donna’s cabin provides everything, and i mean everything!! Just bring your food and you’re set! Theres a generator for electricity if you need electricity. But we didn’t use it once during our 4 days. To us it kind of defeats the purpose of her island retreat. But its there if you cant live without your devices. Communication was impeccable and answered all of our inquiries in a timely manner. You can tell she really genuinely enjoys sharing her island to others, hoping you have a wonderful time there as she did growing up. All in all, if you’re looking for a camping type eacape, but enjoy having a fully stocked cabin with fridge and stove. You’d be hard pressed to find a better place for you and your furry family members.

This island is truly a 'magical' spot!! I wasn't expecting to enjoy the remoteness and seclusion as much as I did. Donna was a wonderful host...a true angel! She accommodated us from the start and was always a text or phone call away if needed. I brought my son and his friend plus the 2 dogs....from the time we arrived I felt disconnected to the outside world. It was a peaceful, restful escape...and the hammock!!!! Nothing beats napping on one with the waves crashing in the background and the sun on your face...priceless! The canoe on the island added an extra bonus as the lads went fishing and canoed over to some of the islands a few times; even in rough waters they had a great time. The 2 dogs were also in their glory. My Aussie swam and explored her surroundings while my Rottie kept guard & barked when boats went by...it was quite amusing to see how they interacted with being 'free' for a weekend. Having a rustic charming cabin added that extra magic to our experience. Watching fireflies and the stars in the sky as we sat around the campfire at night was a pefect way to end our day. One of my most favourite things was the double rainbow we saw after a brief rainstorm...wow!!! We can't WAIT to go back next year...it's truly a little piece of heaven on a little island. We were 3 ladies that have just returned from 5 nights on Donna's island and had an amazing experience. We spent our time swimming, playing board games and seeing the most beautiful sun rises from the East end and sun sets from the west. The 3 of us fit perfectly in her canoe and we canoed over to Milton island, a 20 minute canoe ride away. We also fished out of the canoe and caught a large mouth Bass. The weather didn't cooperate unfortunately on our arrival and departure days so it took a couple trips from the marina to the island and we ended up getting wet from the waves crashing on our way there and a sudden down pour on our way back. But Donna was lovely and we felt safe. It is impossible to describe the feeling of having a whole island to yourselves to enjoy. It was a getaway we will never forget.

This trip was so amazing! The cottage was a decent size and well laid out for cooking and relaxing. The upstairs was beautiful, with skylights and vaulted ceilings. Falling asleep was so easy to the sound of the waves each night. There were practically NO bugs! There are more mosquitoes in my backyard than on this island. It made for excellent camp fires at night. The kids loved seeing fireflies for the first time. Swimming and canoeing was awesome - there were a few favourite spots to get in to the water. Donna warned us about zebra mussels but luckily, there were none when we went (July). The cottage has everything you could want for your trip - games, hammock, coffee maker :) The trap door at the top of the ladder let me sleep well, knowing the kids would be safe, even if they wandered in their sleep. Just such a cool place on this earth to visit. We didn't want to leave and are hoping to return soon!

The perfect place. if you are looking for the ultimate relaxation you don't need to look further. we had the best days of our summer vacation on the island. donna the host is super nice and provides all the information needed. We must come back.

My sister and I stayed at Paul’s place for one night. Paul is very quick to reply, public transit is so close and gives easy access to downtown ( about 25 min.), the apartment was very clean and comfortable, a spot in the driveway was important to us and the kitchen included everything we needed. I would recommend Paul’s place.

Paul’s home was perfect for my quick visit to Kingston! The place has tips and recommendations listed on this very sweet board. Everything was super easy to find and the place was really clean, stylish and cozy. It’s located in the basement of his home but you would never feel that way, the internet connection was great- especially since I worked remotely. All in all a great place to stay and would definitely recommend.

Great stay at Paul’s as usual! I will be back again!

Stay was great. Entry was easy. Loved the multiple kitchen appliances and well-stocked kitchen and bathroom. Coffee/tea, other condiments, and some personal items such as shampoo and hair dryer were available. Communication with host was easy and prompt. WiFi and Roku/Netflix easily available. An information board had lots of local food and entertainment suggestions. Just a large number of small personal touches in the suite. Compared to some other reviews we found the space to be quite comfortable temperature wise but a space heater was available if we had wanted it. Some low ceilings to be aware of if you're over 6'2". Overall, a really great experience. Also worth noting that we felt safe here. We'd definitely stay here again in the future.

Thoughtful touches and a cute little space. We weren't around a lot but appreciated Paul's quick responses to questions as well as accommodating me when I forgot something so that I could pick it up.

One word to describe this place in K-town: FABULOUS. From the get-go Melissa and Brandon had fast and efficient communication, even allowing us to check-in a little early so we could settle in and make it to the Brier for the first game that evening. The yard was great for our dog to wander and take in all the smells (typical basset hound). The spot was close to downtown for us to take in the Brier, and within walking distance to a Tim Horton's to grab a coffee and a doggy timbit treat. The space was also very clean and smelling fresh. Melissa and Brandon's spot comes with our highest recommendation for a stay in Kingston.

At first we were a little concerned with the location of the apartment in the basement. We found out there was no reason for concern--the apartment is amazingly clean and very nicely furnished. It has all the amenities that you might need and more, microwave, refrigerator, fast internet, free parking. The apartment is also quite private. Great place to stay!

Really great stay, while a bit hard to find at first once you do, it's really amazing, and so beautiful to have all the windows to look out onto the lake. Very cozy, and comfy, great wifi, super clean. I will say, the bed is a double not a queen, as some other reviewers had mentioned. Otherwise everything is awesome. We even had some bad weather on the first night, and it was a great haven from that.

This is a great place to stay. It’s very quiet and comfortable plus an easy walk to the downtown area, a park and the waterfront. Parking is off-street and adjacent to the apartment. It was sparkling clean and the beds were comfortable. The bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen/living room all had separate heating controls, a huge plus. I’d definitely stay there again!

Jason & Melissa's apartment was perfect for us two couples. We were going to the Leon Centre for the Brier and it was perfectly located. There are no shortage of restaurants and site seeing within a short walk. The apartment is quaint, modern and very clean. Check-in was seamless and Jason answered me back right away leading up to our trip. Was nice that it was on street level with parking. Would definitely recommend.

This accommodation is spacious (3 very large bedrooms with king size beds). It was extremely clean and the kitchen and bathroom had everything one would need. The beds were very comfortable. Check-in and checkout was easy and hassle free. Jason, the host, was very accommodating and quick to respond to any inquiry. It is within walking distance of the university and waterfront. We would definitely stay here again and much preferred it to our previous stays at local hotels. It's a a great find!

Lovely home, very well-kept, spacious and comfortable. Beds are fantastic! Jason was very easy to deal with and accommodating, we arrived a bit ahead of official check-in time but he was very flexible. House is a long-ish walk from the heart of downtown - maybe 35-40 minutes - but it a pleasant walk nonetheless, and it’s a very short trip if you’re driving. Queen’s U campus is reasonably close, too. No surprises, no complaints - a positive experience all round. Great value. Would happily stay here again, and recommend this rental to others.

Jason’s place was excellent!! It’s in an ideal location if you are looking to check out downtown or Queen’s (right near the education building). The beds are also super comfortable (e.g. many pillows and king size). Also, the Airbnb includes kitchen and bathroom amenities which makes it especially convenient for travellers. Overall, I highly recommend renting this property!

The place was very cute and suited our needs very well.

Donna's place is very nice . It is the lower front of a vintage farmhouse. All the walls are lined with windows affording views of a park and harbor. Every thing is painted a clean white inside....its a funky little layout , and very comfy. The down quilt was nice...to weather a winter storm....with 60mph winds. Don't forget to tip a pint at the Portsmouth Pub 2 blocks away....a neighborhood inn and pub....for over 175 years.

Tatiana is very friendly and I found her home quite comfortable. I appreciated being able to use the kitchen and the shower was awesome! There's a lakefront conservation area nearby if you have time to go for a walk.

Great place to stay in the downtown area, easy walk to all the amazing sights in Kingston. The space was clean and there were bagels, yogurt and coffee for breakfast!

This is a great place to stay at. The location is awesome, you are walking distance from all the cool places downtown. The rooms are great and the bed is comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic area, clean and nice, good hosts

The room is very nice and small, there is everything you need and it even has a little sink. The guest house is not just very comfortable but also creates a great environment and makes you feel like home!

The quick response from the host was amazing. The location was perfect in the middle of downtown about a minute walk from the downtown transfer point and practically in the middle of princess street. It was definitely worth it. They even had welcome chocolates in the room and dining suggestions for places downtown. It was so quiet as well. Loved it here.

This place really does feel like a cute little cottage in the city. Everything was clean and tidy. And we really enjoyed the location, walking distance to Princess St where there are lots of restaurants and shops.

Great location for downtown Kingston. Lovely to come back to a cosy fireplace and comfortable beds. Walking distance to so many fine restaurants and, of course, the waterfront!

I plan to stay here every time I'm in Kingston if possible. It's such a charming place and the location is great <3

The location is ideal! Walking distance to many restaurants and right downtown. The gas fireplace was such a cozy spot to curl up next to and read a good book. We hope to be back soon!

Very nice and clean home. Master bedroom was perfect for a weekend stay for sleeping. Would defiantly stay there again if I ever had to.

The decorations in the room were lovely, everything was clean and the private bath was much appreciated. I must find myself a comforter like the one Victoire offered as it was so cozy! The mattress was also noteworthy; the bed was very comfy. My back can be finicky at times but I slept well.

Victoria is a wonderful host. I sent her a last-minute request and she was able to host me on such short notice. The room was really cozy and leant itself to a perfect night of sleep. More than that, though, she went above and beyond. We both thought it would be okay for me to park on the street overnight, but I ended up getting a parking ticket. Victoria reimbursed me for the cost of the ticket. She didn’t need to do that, but it just goes to show that she’s very kind and has a lot of integrity. Thank you so much again, Victoria!

At first I thought that we would be disturbing the hosts with us all being there at the same time, however it’s worked out seamlessly! For the most part, the hosts kept to themselves, and when paths crossed they were very pleasant

Cute little space. It’s comfortable and cozy for a basement apartment. The dimming pot lights help to keep the space nice and bright. The bed was comfortable and water pressure was good. The tenants upstairs are very nice! Kathleen was a great host. She checked in with us via messaging a few times during our stay to make sure everything was fine. The space is child friendly. There are a few kids toys to keep younger children entertained. Location was good. There is a playground and water park/splash pad about 1 block away which made our 4 year old happy and it’s not very far from the downtown area. As mentioned before, the ceilings are slightly low incase that is a deal breaker for you but my husband who is 5’9” was totally fine and didn’t have to slouch while walking around the unit. I would certainly recommend this place!

We loved the space! Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Unfortunately my husband has terrible allergies to cats so he was affected a bit. Not Daniel’s fault as he was clear that there were cats that lived in the separate space in the basement. Overall it was a great location for us and minutes to Queens University and restaurants which was nice.

This 2 bedroom is clean, quiet, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with basic necessities. Communication with the hosts was excellent. The home is easy to locate and to access. Only a short drive to downtown and the waterfont. Close to restaurants and shopping.

Alma is an exceptional host. She greets her guests with tremendous friendliness. Her tour of the space was exceptional; pointing out special items of note as we went through each room. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. The attention to detail was so appreciated... a bowl on the kitchen table that held a couple of perfect bananas and two muffins. In the fridge there was a new container of orange juice along with two bottles of cold water. She had a lovely variety of teas set out on the counter along with coffee, filters and a measuring cup to get your day started without having to go out for groceries. The bed sheets were crisp and ironed and the mattress was firm and provided a good night’s sleep. The bathroom towels were white and fluffy and everything was clean, clean, clean! Thank you Alma for providing my daughter and me with such a comfortable and homey place to enjoy our time together. Also a big thank you for understanding my delay in checking out due to my train being cancelled and the extra time it took for my husband to come and pick me up. You are a fantastic five star host! We had a fantastic stay at this warm and welcoming place. Everything is as advertised and then some.

Lovely hosts who showed us how to work everything when we arrived. Kitchen was fully equipped with a vast choice of tea, coffee, bananas, bottled water and even a blueberry muffin each. And lovely products in the bathroom. Apartment was warm, cosy and clean and Alma and Robert were the friendliest/kindest hosts we’ve had so far. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

For a small house there was plenty of space and the location was convenient to get downtown easily by walking or driving. Tall people be aware of the slanted ceilings on the second floor.
