  • I was on a road trip all around Ireland with other two people and I was looking for a quiet place to stay along the road with enough space for the car and my companions. I found this house in Killala, which is a very small town in County Mayo, owned by Mary. The house was exactly as described on the website: next to the small town center and with a beautiful seaview. If you have a car you can park it inside the gate, just outside the front door, which I found very practical for the luggages. The house has a very large bedroom with a double and a single bed, and another double bedroom. It has two bathrooms, a kitchen and a living room. I found the house really clean, and Mary provided us with clean towels and also an hairdryer. Mary is a really really really LOVELY host: very responsive to any request, open to late evening/early morning conversations, she provided breakfast with homemade bread and a lot of other good things to eat. She felt like a mom to me! Unfortunately I only spent one night here but I definitely recommend everything about this stay!

  • Great place near the sea. Wonderful hospitality. Felt home away from home. Thank you Tom & Leema

    Tom2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Out room had a lovely view over the front garden to the bay just across the street. You could not ask for a more accommodating hostess! Mary goes out of her way to make you feel at home. There is a variety of cereals and toast, juice, coffees, teas, and fruit for breakfast. The neighborhood is great for walking around the bay, along the greenway path by the horses in the pasture and on into town for a stop in at the great little grocery store, a pharmacy, and lunch in a cafe , all very close by. We were able to catch the news on tv in the living room in the evening and have a chat with Mary which was very nice. All in all, you will love your stay here!

The spacious cottage is located at the mouth of Killala Bay, just off the 'Wild Atlantic Way' overlooking the famous Castlemagee Waves. The perfect location for a peaceful getaway, family break or an adventure in North Mayo.
The room contains a double bed, wardrobe and dressing table, with ocean views from your window. You will have full access to the kitchen, living room and bathroom. The cottage has an oil stove and central heating and has a cozy and homely feel. There is private car parking. Attached to the house is a large garden for enjoying the fresh seaside air and panoramic views, as well as a safe space for children to play. We have a dog and hens in the garden.
The cottage is a short 5-minute walk to the closest beach 'Trá Bán', as well as being close by to the Kilcummin pier and Lacken Backstrand ideal for walking or surfing. Lacken is an ideal location for touring North Mayo, 10km from Killala, 12km from Ballycastle, and 20km from Ballina, the 'Salmon Capital' of Ireland, famous for fishing. North Mayo has rich local history to be explored, St.Patrick's and St. Cummin's Holy well's, the French landing in Kilcummin, historic Abbey's in Rathfran, Moyne and Rosserk, The Round Tower Killala, the Céide Fields and Down Patrick Head.
  • A wonderful stay! An honest farm cottage with many very nice touches (flowers, slippers, heated mattress pad, eggs, milk, butter, cereal, jam) and a roaring fire, but not glamorous or fancy. And the view is gorgeous! Breege and her husband had great suggestions for sights and food and were delightful to visit with. It was all we had hoped for. Excellent communication with Breege, as well, for questions.

    Karen2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • This seaside cottage is adorable. So cozy and inviting. We arrived after dark, and waking up tofind the seaside right beside us was incredible! Breege and her husband were so kind and provided excellent recommendations for the area. Would recommend!

    Keri2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely cosy cottage with stunning views. Breege and her family we very helpful and friendly.

    Aoife2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic stay at Breege's place. Exactly what you want for a stay at a cottage that overlooks the sea. Peace and quiet, very cosy and warm cottage with lovely little touches. Heat on, electric blanket going, beautiful scones, and a lovely host in Breege herself. If you're looking for somewhere off the beaten track a bit, peace and quiet, great value and a cosy, friendly place full of character and original features, you've found it.

    David2020-02-01T00:00:00Z
  • This is such a magic place if you like a rural retreat in a cosy traditional home. Breege is a kind, welcoming and generous host who takes trouble to make sure her guests have all they need, and who can suggest plenty of local places to visit. We highly recommend her cottage - a great getaway! Thanks, Breege, Geoff and Dee

    Geoff2020-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • A car is essential if you wish to reside in this accommodation. Located a few kilometers from the city of Ballina, this address is really very pleasant, in the middle of a splendid nature. The accommodation has everything you need and even more. Breege is just amazing. Between her good humor, her precious advice and her great availability, we can only recommend spending a night or more in her accommodation, at least to be able to meet her! We recommend this accommodation without hesitation.

    Daria2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommended haven! Lovely and warm host! Lovely oil stove kept us warm throughout. Great views of the sea.

    Ballina, County Mayo, Ireland

This airy, open-plan studio apartment consists of a bright living area, a fully equipped kitchenette, a bathroom with a shower and a mezzanine with a double futon. A double sofa bed provides further sleeping space for two. It is an ideal base from which to explore the unspoilt scenery of North Mayo with lots of outdoor activities, archeological sites and empty beaches in easy reach. Blue flag Ross beach is only 5 minutes away and the historic village of Killala is within walking distance.
Apart from the plenty outdoor pursuits available in and around Killala ( surfing, scuba diving, fishing, two champion golf courses, kayaking, trekking, cycling on the Greenway, archery, etc) you can enjoy fine dining in Killala or the nearby town of Ballina where there are a range of restaurants to suit all tastes, from dinner in a castle to the best fish and chips for miles! There are also a number of modern spa hotels as well as the Victorian charm of the seaweed baths at Enniscrone. If your taste is for the historic, you can explore the nearby ruins of three local abbeys, visit Killala's own cathedral and well preserved round tower, or take off just up the road the the famous Ceide fields. For the culturally minded there are three easily accessible art centres with extensive programs with theatre, music and visual arts. But of course it all should be finished off in one of the many snug, local pubs.
  • Myself and my wife really enjoyed our stay here, super easy booking process and check in and out. Finola has made the house the perfect self catering option for short or long stays & it's location in the town is perfect. Everything was provided - milk, tea, coffee, sugar eye so we didn't have to rush to the shop on arrival. The hosts were available for any queries & communicatoon was griendly & immediate but they did not intrude. Five star accommodation in a really beautiful location. Highly recommended.

  • Great house. Right beside some of best places in Ireland for Guinness! Some brilliant cycling routes on doorstep! Only small issue was that there was no WiFi as signal is very poor in the house/area. Met Peter and he was v helpful.

We have designed this house to make it ideally suited for our holidays. It has a open plan kitchen/Diner area for entertaining and a seperate TV room (with a digitial library of movies). A decent shower with hot water on demand. A warm outdoor shower for washing off when returning from the beach which is a 6 min walk away and gas central heating. Although the exterior of the house isn't that inspiring the location is great for walking to the high street, village pool and pub.
We have a few finishing touches to make to the place and will update the photos to show these include : installing a solid fuel stove, putting up some blinds, getting bar stools and also a dining table and chairs. This will be done by 2018.
  • Lovely quaint wee hoiliday home . Exactly as described , even better .

  • Great house for a family, very close to beach, village, swimming pool and main access routes along the coast. Spotless on arrival and lots of helpful information from David for the local area. Our young kids loved the house and were able to walk everywhere and leave the car parked up for most of our break! 5 stars!

    Tadhg2019-04-24T00:00:00Z
  • David’s place was fantastic. The location was second to none - we were able to walk into Inniscrone in no time and have our choice of 3 pubs - Gilroy’s bar in particular was great! We were walking distance to the pier and the beach for early morning dips - local note - if you can count 10 steps, the tide is probably too low to jump off the pier. The house for us acted as a great base to explore from, he headed towards Strandhill and had great food and coffee before heading a hike up Knocknarea - fantastic views and a class boardwalk through the forest on the way back down. Another day we hit the Wild Atlantic Way, and ventured to a Downpatrick Head (a true must-see) and followed the Way southbound for the day. The house itself was fantastic, remarkably clean and tidy with the most comfortable beds! Lovely facilities for cooking dinner or sitting round enjoying a few beers and board games. For the little ones there is a tv room with a clear glass panel as well as the door allowing easy supervision. All in all, 10/10

    Mitchell2019-03-25T00:00:00Z
  • An excellent property, well furnished wity comfortable beds. The location is great, minutes walk to a large beach, the local swimming pool and nearby convenience stores. If staying in tge area again we'd definitely book this house next time!

Modern well appointed family home set in a quiet rural location on the Wild Atlantic way. Ideal for surfing & sight seeing & exploring the northwest.
Lovely modern house set in a quiet rural location. Carmel your host is the local historian and if available, is always willing to chat to ensure your stay is a memorable one.
This quiet rural area is well worth exploring a visit to the local pub The Harbour Bar is a must it overlooks Killala Bay with beautiful views of County Mayo the sunsets here can be spectacular.
  • Carmel was great, quick responses. My friend fell ill with a low blood sugar in the late evening and she allowed him to eat anything he needed in the kitchen. Very nice.

  • I’ve stayed with Carmel before . She is an excellent host and the place is perfect for me close to the surf and great value for money . I’ll definitely be back

  • Carmel's place is super cosy! We slept very well in that comfortable bed and enjoyed the breakfast. We highly recommend her accommodation to everyone :)

  • We had with Carmel our best stay!!! We arrived completely wet because of the rain after miles with our motorcycle. Carmel opened the door and let us in giving us electric radiator and everything that we needed to dry clothes. We spent hours together talking about our motorcycle tour around Ireland, the fireplace was left on for us and and the ensuite in the bedroom was everything that we needed after the storm. Carmel made us fell like at home and a part of his family in those few hours together with her dog and cat. The ocean close to the house and the silence all around complete our stay. In the morning we left very early but the table was full of amenities and set up for breakfast. Wonderfull!!! We will be back

  • Carmel's house is lovely. She has the guest room done beautifully-it is cosy and clean with a lovely ensuite. She is so kind and welcoming, I felt like I was staying in my Aunty's. She had a lovely breakfast of scones and bread and jam etc and tea and coffee. She offered us a lift to Enniscrone for dinner which we thought was very kind, and gave us great advice on where to eat. As we rushed off for a wedding the next day, she loaned my boyfriend a Dickie-bow of her son's because he forgot his tie! The area is beautiful, she's really close to the beach. Carmel is an example of genuine Irish hospitality-we will certainly be back in the future! Thanks again Carmel!

Hello, My name is Mona. If you need a very cosy bed in a lovely quiet house in the picturesque seaside town of Enniscrone, beside all amenities you should come to me. A light, bright and airy home in a quiet location a few minutes away from the beach and all the amenities. Local deli, pubs, shops and church is around the corner.
  • Thanks Mona provided me such cozy, supper clean room with a lovely big window which can view the peaceful country scenery, especially when sun is not shy to come out! It is huge relax lying on the sofa in the laundry, hearing the wind and enjoying the sunshine. Several sea birds now and then would land on the backyard and pick up their snacks (for instance, pieces of bread, Mona told me that she prefers to put some on the grass, attracting cats and birds, I guess that also might make the garden much lively). Nature space and pure time when I was staying Mona's house, I appreciate that much.

Our neighbourhood is a quiet, friendly agricultural area off the beaten track. We are located by the coast with views over Killala Bay. The nearest village is Killala, 10km away where there are places to eat.
  • We felt very comfortable with Rick & Caroline. From the house you have a very nice view to the beach. The breakfast was delicious and there was a great banana bread (I‘ve never dare before).

    Kathrin2019-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • Rick and Caroline’s place is absolutely wonderful! They are also wonderful hosts who went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. They were also generous enough to serve us an early breakfast before we headed out for the day. I wish we could’ve stayed here longer. Highly recommended!

    Drasti2019-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Rick and Caroline's place is fantastic! They are such warm and welcoming hosts and their home is comfortable and lovely. I'd love to visit here next time I'm traveling through Ireland!

    Kim2019-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • Staying with Rick and Caroline has been one of our favourite stops on our trip in Ireland so far! Their home is beautiful and comfortable, the surrounding area is lovely, and Rick and Caroline are incredibly friendly and helpful. They gave us great recommendations for nearby walks and restaurant, as well as things to do on our drive the next day. The breakfast they served us was incredible (the Full Irish!) and kept us going all day. We'd love to come back again someday!

    Karen2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • What to say, if only for us there are not enough stars to put on AirBnB. We were really very well received. Rick and Caroline are very caring and considerate. We spent 2 very rewarding evenings with them. The room is comfortable. The extraordinary location and super quiet. Just a micro flat. The place is not easy to find but I probably have too old GPS

    Patrick2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Rick was a great host. The views were incredible, the room was adorable and the breakfast was delicious and generous.

    Ashley2019-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • Rick and Caroline are the perfect hosts. Caroline makes the best home made bread and gave me some to take home with me. Rick makes the very best Irish breakfast! The house is clean, with great views of the fields and the sea. Everything is perfect really. 100% recommend! I’m

    Zibuyile2019-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • Caroline and Rick are lovely hosts! Both they and the house made us feel like we really were on holiday and we would have loved to have stayed for longer than the one night to enjoy the gorgeous house, surroundings and hospitality more. The house is located on a gorgeous and quiet rural spot close to a bay, with loads of views from the windows. We were allowed to use all common rooms in the house and particularly enjoyed the conservatory with huge windows and its view on the fields and bay. The house is decorated beautifully and the room we stayed in had a lovely Indian theme. Caroline was kind enough to provide us with beer and a great dinner of "cheesy pasta" and conversation after we had a long drive. They have two lovely dogs and being allowed to take Duke for an evening walk when we asked was one of the highlights of our holiday. Rick made us a really nice Irish breakfast (including a vegetarian one) in the morning.

  • Great value place to stay to visit the West of Ireland. It’s a modern house in an out of town development. Very high standard of cleanliness in room and bathroom (it’s not an en suite but it’s private for the guests) Two pug dogs live here which we were really pleased to meet, they cheered us up after a long journey.

The Islands Winds is a spacious two story detached house nestled into the breath-taking backdrop of Killala and Bartra Island. This newly renovated home is a stone’s throw from the heart of Killala itself, over 6 miles from nearby Ballina.
  • Great house with plenty of room including 4 bathrooms and a downstairs toilet. Easily accessible in a safe and quiet area. Close (10minutes) to busy town of Ballina and short distance from lovely coastal paths, drives, cycles and beaches. Gabrielle is easy to get in touch with and quick to reply, and on hand for any issues, not that we had any. Would recommend for groups of friends or a large family/ multiple families.

  • Just back from a great weekend in Gabrielle's place in Killala - fantastic house with great amenities, lots of space and good heating (important for the cold weather we experienced!). It's in some beautiful surroundings and Gabrielle herself was a superb host - really quick and easy to communicate with and provided everything we needed. Thanks Gabrielle!

There is a beach nearby and local shops etc so it's a great location for exploring the North of Ireland. The house itself is immaculate with 5 generously sized double bedrooms (one is set us a a single and one as a two singles) with a large kitchen and lounge for plenty of living space.

  • We had a wonderful stay at Martina’s place! The views were stunning & it’s about a 15 min walk into town & a close drive to Ballina. There was plenty of space in the house for our big family. She even had a crib for our 10 month old. The house was clean and Martina was a wonderful host. Great communication and she even brought us over some fresh homemade bread one breakfast. Highly recommend!

    Miranda2019-07-17T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely quiet comfortable house with fabulous views from every window. As an extended family ranging from 14 to over 80 we were all happy, comfortable and slept well. The location is incredibly peaceful but easy to get to once you work out that Google maps takes you to the nearest field not the doorstep.. scan across the field & up the hill & turn into a narrow lane. Don't worry if you can't find it as Martina did ensure she was around on the day we arrived to give us directions. The 20 min & lovely countryside walk to Moyne Abbey is a bonus must do as it's not the easiest place to park a car.

    Anne2019-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • Great location with fantastic views and a great host, will definitely stay again :)

  • Martina was a great host and had fresh banana bread baked on our arrival. It is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful Co Mayo. Downpatrick Head is a must see. Ross beach is only a five minute drive from the house. The house had everything we needed and the views were beautiful. The beds were very comfortable and all 3 of us slept soundly. I would highly recommend Martina’s beautiful home.

  • Great place, everything tidy and neat. Might be a bit cold in the winter, but try the gorgeous electric blankets in your bed! We couldn't hear any special noise of Saturday night life; it may increase in summer, but the bedrooms are in the rear of the building. Stephen was a great host and we could have asked for everything, if we had needed more (but there was no need). Free parking on a market parking space just a few metres away, perfect!

    Astrid2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect location for anyone wanting to visit the Ballina area. Stephen was super helpful at all times and always available. The apartment is super clean and has everything you would need for a short/ long term stay. I can’t say enough about the location - walking distance to everything in town and to all attractions just outside town. There is a taxi rank right across the road if you need to go anywhere. And plenty of parking around the town if you have a rental car. Overall amazing stay and well well worth it.

A tastefully restored historic cottage from the 1700s, located just off the Kilcummin Backstrand beach. Perfect for surfing, relaxing, or walking to the pub for a pint. The cottage offers modern amenities with traditional style, and an enclosed backyard space for storing bicycles or surfboards safely. The ideal headquarters for your North Mayo adventures!
The Cottage, Kilcummin is a restored 1700s era home, with an addition to provide space for the kitchen and bathroom. With a roomy master bedroom, and second bedroom that sleeps two, it comfortably sleeps four guests that are looking for a traditional Irish getaway. The living room is comfortably furnished, with modern conveniences (like TV, Bluetooth, and WiFi), as well as a cast iron stove for nights when modern isn't the priority.
As travelers might already know, North Mayo is beautiful country. The cottage is ideally placed less than 1km (only a 12 minute walk) from the beach (Kilcummin Backstrand), the nearest pub (Bessie's Bar by the Pier), and dramatic ocean cliffs. When you are looking to go into the city for groceries or activities, Killala is only minutes away, and Ballina is just past that (for shopping, fishing, or a visit to the distillery!).
  • We had a lovely family break over St Patricks Weekend for 4 days - with the added bonus of escaping the Corona Virus mayhem. Perfect place for myself and my 3 kids to wind down, have family fun and recalibrate. We left feeling so refreshed. The house was so cosy and relaxing for us all - just like being in my granny's old cottage - this is the real thing and very stylish. The area around was lovely - no need to stray too far with Downpatrick Head, Ceide Fields, Kilcummin/Lacken beach and nearby pier. The Dunes were lots of fun too. Even went for a dip in March! Thank you Rene - we felt very at home and Elizabeth and Tony were very helpful sorting us out.

    Helen2020-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • Rene’s Airbnb was amazing. I can just recommend it to everybody. Just to name some hilights: the location, the chimney, the rustic cottage style, the heated blankets and really important the card games that are provided ;) The only thing to remember is that the cottage can be cool in between times when there is not fire running but that can be dealt with with everything that is provided :) We had a great time, will definitely come again when in the area.

    Marcell2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • This place is amazing! The hosts have done an excellent job restoring the cottage. Everything was perfect from the lovely decor to the amenities provided. Upon our arrival, Elizabeth had the fire lit and the electric blanket on for us. She was so hospitable and warm. The cottage is equipped with everything you would need. The white linens in the bedrooms and the fluffy, white towels in the bathrooms gave the cottage such a luxurious feel. Not to mention they actually smelled fresh and clean. Everything in the cottage was clean as well. We had the most relaxing and peaceful time there. Although it is close to other homes, it definitely is private. We enjoyed our walks to the beach and the sculpture trail. The area is just breathtaking. You would not regret staying at this cottage. We will definitely be back!

    Corina2020-02-05T00:00:00Z
  • Kilcummin cottage is a real gem, and we had a fantastic stay. Check in was really easy, the cottage is stunning and has everything you could ever need, and the area is beautiful. We stayed for 2 nights and wish we had booked longer. We had the fire going both nights, making the cottage so cosy and the perfect getaway. It has everything from electric blankets to board games and a fully equipped kitchen. The area is stunning. It’s pitch black at night and there is no sound except the sea. Do the sculpture trail if you can and walk down to the beach.. amazing! We did a little trip out to Downpatrick Head also which is a must. Thanks to Rene and also to Elizabeth for checking us in and all the local tips. We felt so welcome! Looking forward to coming back! Kieron & Emma

  • This is a little piece of heaven on the Irish coast. The cottage had everything we needed and you could tell a lot of love and hard work has gone into it. Great base for exploring all Mayo has to offer. Tony and Elizabeth are wonderful and all the locals are so friendly. Would recommend to anyone. Beware that you have to pay a fee of €10 per person when you fly out of Knock airport, so don’t spend all your cash in Bessie’s bar! Cant wait to come back!!

  • We really enjoyed our stay. It is a lovely home and Lorraine is a great host

    Marian2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This is an excellent property , very well kitted out and ideally located. Met by Lorraine at check in and she gave us a warm welcome and quick run down of the house. We were there during Storm Denis and the house was very warm with extra touches such as electric blanket and hot water bottles. All you need for self catering or just a short stroll into Enniscrone. Close to the great beach so ideal for families and dogs alike even with the Irish weather. Would recommend and hope to visit again.

    John2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing house to stay in. Walking distance to everything in the town and so close to the beach. Perfect for a surf trip. So cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed!

  • Lorraine was a wonderful host, she responded really quickly to any communications and her place was really clean with lovely touches, such as a welcome gift and milk and toiletries to use if needed. I'd recommend this place to anyone visiting north Sligo.

    Caroline2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Our family of five had a wonderful stay at Lorraine’s place. It was great to be able to take out two small dogs with us. The location was really perfect, a few minutes to the sea and around 10 minutes to the town. Our teenagers enjoyed the water park which is only a short stroll from the holiday village. Lorraine’s place was very comfortable and clean and would definitely book there again.

And she is good crack too! (Crack - Irish slang for 'banter, fun, etc.') Her house is just by the Atlantic - in very rustic and idyllic surroundings. And very good value for money I'd say.

If you ever wanted to experience the old world charm of a traditional Irish cottage without compromising on modern comfort, this is the place to visit. It is set off the road and surrounded by an acre of land giving you tranquility and privacy. The rustic interior comprises a fully equipped country kitchen, a little study, the living room has TV and a cast iron stove. There are three bedrooms. One with a four poster double bed, a twin room and room with a single bed.
The house is located off the road which gives you privacy and tranquility and makes it especially safe for children. The house is south facing and a sun trap. A patio area gives you the possibility to enjoy that sunshine or even organise a barbecue. Killala with all its amenities like shops, pubs, café, a restaurant and a fast food take away is only a 10 minute walk away. The nearest beach is Ross Strand, a blue flagged, child friendly beach, and is reachable within 5 minutes in the car.
  • We had a lovely time at the cottage, it was really spacious yet still very cosy and warm. Check in was so easy and Sabine was quick to respond to any questions. Very peaceful and relaxing.

    Hannah2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • If you love traditional Irish stone cottages, this is the place for you. The owner has put a lot of effort to make it stylish with modern comforts but still keeping the old charm of a cottage. We loved the place and area. Some history in Killala and the cottage is a short drive to the beach. We were there when the weather was cold and I’m sure the place is gorgeous in the summer!

    Collette2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Nice spacious cottage with attention to detail. Shopping in the next town is about 3 minutes by car and about 10 minutes on foot. The house was clean and equipped with everything you need. Sabine was very nice and helpful, communication was always quick and reliable. I can only recommend Sabines Cottage!

    Christian2019-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • Sabine's cottage is full of charm and a taste of an old Irish cottage in a secluded location. If you want peace and quiet and to cosy up, it's perfect, but it's also not far from lovely Killala and wild beaches like Kilcummin. Highly recommend a stay!

    Matt2019-12-18T00:00:00Z

Spacious, tranquil, luxury house set in the countryside by the sea. This is rural Ireland: wild, open and free with vast open spaces; forests, bogs, sandy beaches and seashore cliffs. It's whatever you want it to be: a relaxing getaway from the hassles of life or a place of adventure and physical activity. Each season brings it's own unique beauty and in its passing transforms the landscape. It's truly beautiful, often mysterious, always wild! All are most welcome regardless of diversity.
  • We had such a wonderful stay here, I can't recommend it enough. Jacqui and Seamus were so lovely, and we will be back.

    Megan2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Jacqui is an amazing hostess one of the best I have ever experienced and her husband Séamus a gentleman if you want a a place off the beaten track with comfy beds, scrumptious breakfast and great hospitality I highly suggest you visit this special place

    Marie Therese2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • Jacqui is a warm and welcoming host who has created an extraordinary space for travellers and guests in her home! Breakfast in the beautiful glass conservatory overlooking the garden, was delicious. Jacqui has many thoughtful touches to her stay for guests and we appreciated feeding the donkeys, Clover, Daisy and Patty and the view to the beach and ocean. Would highly recommend staying here

    Tracy2019-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • You can expect to have Jacqui greeting you at the door! Cheerful, kind and helpful. The rooms provided were neat and spotless. Amazing view from the house. Lovely get away place that is quiet. 100% recommend living with her! Perfect home away from home.

    Naveen2019-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • This B&B is located in a very scenic and quiet part of Co Mayo. Jacqui was very friendly and helpful with directions within the area. The house is beautifully furnished and was spotlessly clean. There was a varied choice for Breakfast which Jacqui cooked to order. Also she provided us with a variety of home made breads throughout our stay and also gave us scones to eat on our days out. The bedroom and bathroom were both tastefully decorated and very spacious. I would highly recommend this B&B and would definitely stay again if in the area.

    Kieran2019-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • Jacqui is a fantastic host! She made us feel so welcomed - it truly was a home away from home. The house is beautiful and has a very cosy feel (we loved hanging out by the fire and read/watch the telly). Jacqui‘s food is to die for (still dreaming about the scones). To sum up: We had the best time there with Jacqui and her family and hope to come back soon!
