  • We loved the stay with Anne. Thanks again for the nice hospitality and the very good breakfast! :)

  • Despite the availability at 18h, Anne welcomed us with coffee and biscuits, a spacious and very clean room and a good breakfast I recommend

  • I was travelling with my daughter for 10 days and Anne’s place was our last stop before heading back home. We were able to leave our suitcase in the BnB as we were a bit early. We were offered a cuppa but decided to get out a bit and use the playground across the road. The room was great. Very clean and spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable. Better than my own and we both slept like babies. Breakfast was included in the price. We had some tost with scrambled eggs, juice and coffee as well as continental options. Unusually stay longer in a place than just 1 night. So we will definitely be back to finish our chat Anne and Richard.

  • We got a really warm welcome from Anne. Lovely and very hospitable. Spacious and clean bedroom with bathroom just next door. Near the city centre. We were provided with an excellent breakfast and had a nice chat with Anne.

  • We got this Anne's place late in the afternoon with a problem in a tyre of our car. It was late and the kitchen of the recommended restaurant was closing soon. They have arranged a tyre service to pick up the dammaged tyre from their place and they have arranged somebody from the local restaurant to pick up us and bring to the restaurant so that we can have dinner in peace instead of waiting the tyre service to arrive. Incredible!. this is what makes the difference between any hotel and AirBnB. Anne, thanks again. Unfortunately I can give you only 5 stars. :-)

  • This was a true experience of Irish hospitality at its best! Anne and her husband are very kind people to get to know, and Anne really takes care of you! She helped me make dinner in the evening, checked what time I wanted breakfast and what I preferred to have, always made sure I was comfortable, and made my stay really feel very cozy and welcoming. This is a true bed and breakfast experience, and you can be sure that you won't forget how lovely your stay here will be!

  • The cottage was perfect. It was just as beautiful as it looks in the pictures, and the land and area around it are even more so. Michael met us in town and showed us to the cottage, even after we arrived later than expected. He showed us around the place and was very kind. He started a fire for us and Mairead even left the electric blankets on for when we arrived. We had everything we needed and more, and hope to be back!

  • Michael and Maggie’s place was a pure slice of heaven and the true highlight of our Thanksgiving family trip. Plenty of room for seven people. Bright airy space with comfy beds and ample heating. Tom Coyne’s bar and bistro was a great spot to get food. Highly HIGHLY recommend this spot for those looking to get away from it all and enjoy the fabulous land and sea that Connemara has to offer.

  • Mairead’s & Micheal’s beautiful home is not only in an amazing place, they are fabulous hosts. Delicious treats, great tips, hospitality above-and-beyond. This is the perfect place for walks, drives and visits to Galway & the Aaron Isles. The home is built and looked after with love and care. Plus very cute ponies. Loved the entrance marked by a high-vis jacket. Many thanks for a grand stay.

  • We were so welcomed into Mairead and Micheals home! It was the first stop of our honeymoon in Ireland and we were treated to a roaring fire, chocolates and prosecco on our arrival. The cottage itself is so cosy and welcoming and is situated in such a gorgeous area! Highly recommend! Thank you so much, Em and Oli x

Connemara, Roundstone and its beautiful beaches were part of our tours. Tom received us very well and recommended, we highly recommend this small nest, a very good price for families!

  • Great location, lovely clean rooms and kitchen. Anne was a great host lovely to talk to a great choice for anyone looking for a place to stay. Would definitely stay again!

    Gavin2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • It's really a nice and very quiet place. And Anne is a very warm, welcoming, helping and very easy going host, who really likes to see her guests happy and content and feeling like home. Ideal for to slow down, to relax, to explore beautiful Connemara near the coast and the "wild atlantic way". Therefore it's good and I really recommend, to come here with a car. That gives you more freedom and makes it easier and pleasant for yourself. Would definitely come again. Sina, Februar 2020

  • After having spent 3 nights in this lovely house, I would say that Anna and her family are very nice and friendly. Their home has a very good localisation if you are looking for wild way Atlantique. I recommend

  • Only was able to stay over night, but I received a warm welcome and the house was very clean. Great value and pleasant experience.

    Christopher2019-10-26T00:00:00Z
  • I really appreciated the quiet, and the slow pace in this area; Anne provided help and support during my stay, and was very gracious and conscientious. She went out of her way to share her kitchen, make sure if I needed a ride to the end of the road, the bus, the store, etc. Superstar as hosts go, very kind. So you know, this is Anne's home. Lots of space. Big kitchen, my room had 2 twin beds. It's right near the water, you can hear it crashing lightly from the back side of the house, or if you open the windows. It is very remote and very quiet. Peaceful. Houses have no numbers, streets have no names (it seemed). She's on the road toward the water from the Sportlann Naomh Anna, County Galway, Connaught, Ireland (near Lettermore south of the bridge). Lots of green grass fields and stone walls. Nearest shop (Centra) is a good 25min walk, over the bridge to the north.

  • In addition to the fact that Anne House is located in an exceptional landscape, her kindness, her listening will make your stay all the more enjoyable

    Marie2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • We felt truly at home at Anne’s house. For us everything was perfect. We could cook, had a room with seperate beds with a lovely view and a clean bathroom. Anne as a host is perfect. She did everything for us to make as comfortable as possible. She also explained somethings about Ireland :) We would highly recommend to stay here. I know for sure, we will be back!

Stay in the heart of Connemara, on the Wild Atlantic Way. Beautiful unspoilt beaches within a few minutes walk from our house. With its breath taking scenery, Ardmore is in the heart of the largest Irish speaking area in Ireland, and is steeped in culture, language and traditional music. There is an award winning restaurant/ bistro just 3km from our door, and the best pint of Guinness in Connemara can be sampled in our local pub Leavys, just a few minutes walk from the house.
The area is unspoilt by mass tourism, yet full of its own hidden gems, including abandoned Famine villages, ancient lake dwellings and turf cutting experience. However, it is also the perfect base to return to and relax for the evening, after you explore the major centres of Connemara, Clifden, Roundstone, The Aran Islands and Connemara National Park, all within 30km of your room. The local grocery store and bar has fresh bread and pastries, excellent coffee and a fresh deli counter. There are three restaurants within 5km of the house, serving fresh local produce.
Trá Bhuí, a beautiful Coral beach, is just a fifteen minute scenic walk, and is the most beautiful secluded beach in the west of Ireland. Grab a fresh coffee and scone at Leavys Deli to enjoy on the way. JohnJoes Fish and Chips roadside diner, is a five minute walk away, offering a variety of fresh seafood and hand cut chips, definitely not to be missed.
  • Seán is a most attentive host fulfilling, even anticipating every need. You will enjoy your breakfast warmed by a peat fire while watching songbirds outside the window. He ensures that you enjoy your visit suggesting walks to the nearby beaches and answers every question you might have. Carna is a gem of a place.

  • We had a lovely stay with Sean at his place. The room was comfortable and spacious and we could also sit in the shared lounge. Sean made us a tasty cooked breakfast the next day which was so nice! There were friendly dogs and donkeys in the field next door! It was a great stop on our drive along the ‘Wild Atlantic Way’ - highly recommend.

  • Absolutely stunning location. The house is a few minutes walk from a beautiful little harbour, and a beautiful beach. Sean is a lovely, helpful and very thoughtful host - he had a fire on in the living room and the table ready when we returned with our fish and chips. The house is clean and very comfortable. You are 1 minute from a shop, pub and a few minutes more to the local fish and chip shop (delicious!). We highly recommend visiting! Thank you Sean.

  • The new chalet is situated really in short distance to the coastline, where the neighbours dog was already waiting to show us half of the island ;-) Neither bush nor tree - fascinating. Would be interesting to revisit in the summer. But the rain was fortunately falling only in the night.

    Nico2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • What to say & how long have we got? We had the most fantastic time at this amazingly understated, modern-traditional chalet which was spotlessly clean & importantly for us made child safe by the brilliant hosts Michael & Brid. It's everything the photo's promised & more & a small family of four with toddler & infant in tow were made to feel as at ease as if we were family (our eldest girl loved riding the toy green tractor btw!). If you want rugged WAW coastline as we did then this is for you & if you want the mod con comforts that will keep you warm, snug & safe from a down-graded 'hurricane' this is also for you. Thank you Michael & Brid *****

    Paul2019-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • Nice apartment with a great floorplan in a beautiful location ... comfy bed with nice linens ... plenty of cooking utensils/pots/pans … wifi was almost always perfect (with brief oddities when the wind really got out of hand). Even with three nights, it wasn't enough time to really explore everywhere. If you have time, see the Coral Strand. In general, it was a lovely place to stay and I'd stay there again, without hesitation.

    Diana2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place and great host! I recommend!

    Izabela2019-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • A perfect space to have time out, peace and quiet right beside the sea. The house is sparklingly clean and modern and and comfortable. Bríd and Michael were so lovely, kind and generous. Even the local dogs came out to greet and walk with me!

  • Anne was a hospitable host and it is a nice spacious house. En suite. Fantastic view of the nearby water from the bedroom window. Nice little village Lettermore. Great water scenes of nature to sit by. It turned out to be a suitable place for me to go for a weekend of respite from caregiving, and somewhere I could lay low for a weekend to help recover from a cold. Thanks.

  • Anne is a wonderful host - kind, respectful of privacy, and generous in sharing local advice and tips. The use of the full size kitchen was great. Anne also allowed me to use her washing machine which was very helpful. The space is comfortable and good value for money. I arrived by car so getting there was not an issue at all. I enjoyed walking around the quiet area which is picturesque with beautiful views of the Irish countryside. Thank you Anne!

  • Room consistent with the description and a great welcome from Anne.

    Emilie2019-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • Anne's place was so much more than expected. Really good value. It was reviewed as being a place that hosted teenagers the bedrooms being dorms, so I expected super basic. We had the room to ourselves with 2 sets of bunk beds, however the bed was the comfiest I slept on the whole trip, with plenty of extra pillows, spare covers and extra towels. There was an ensuite bathroom and a bathroom right next door to use too. The breakfast provided was plentiful and Anne said to help ourselves to anything at any time. We had a free run of the kitchen so could shop at the local store which had a wide selection of foods so we could cook for ourselves rather than eating out. We were also welcome to use her sitting room too. The island is spectacular and we decided to stay for an extra night and just spend a day exploring the islands, adding an extra night was no problem at all. Anne was incredibly friendly and welcoming, the perfect host!!

Even the dog is welcoming you😉 ! Thanks for everything Anne! I hightly recommanded Anne'home!

  • We booked Anne’s house at the last minute for a trip to see our son who was staying in the Gaeltacht. We travelled with our two other sons aged 16 and 8 and really didn’t know what to expect, particularly as it seemed such good value. First off it should be explained that Anne’s house normally hosts teenage students for the summer for the local Gaeltacht. As a result the room is basic and shows signs of wear by teenagers. However that’s about as negative as I can get. The place was spotlessly clean, the beds were freshly made up, we were given plenty of clean towels and toiletries and we had access to a kitchen and seated area. For the price we’d paid we hadn’t expected to get breakfast included but Anne had the table laid out with a choice of cereals (brand names too) along with a fresh loaf of bread for toasting, butter and marmalade. We also had use of a kettle to make our own tea and coffee along with a job to cook meals and a microwave, all of which were available to us at any time of the day or night. Anne was an excellent host, very friendly, willing to do whatever needed to be done to make our stay a pleasant one. Her house is located in a beautiful part of west county Galway, down a very quiet cul de sac. Our room had a stunning view over the bay which looked even more amazing because of the lovely weather we had. We would have no hesitation to recommend Anne’s house and hope that we get a chance to visit again.

My house is situated on the first island in Ceantar na nOileán,it's just 10 minutes from the busy holiday village of Carraroe with the famous coral beach. It's just 2 minutes from the golf club 'Connemara Isles' and it's situated about an hour drive from Galway city. It's also situated 10 minutes from Rosaveel ferry port with regular ferry's to and from the Aran Islands. My home is next to a bar with night time music. Help yourself to continental breakfast and tea or coffee in the morning.
  • Grace was incredibly sweet, and very friendly. She had a lovely place and was very kind. Her house was sparkling clean, and she laid out a lovely little breakfast for us. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

  • Grace is a wonderful hostess. She was very welcoming on our arrival and made a much needed cup of tea. The house was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. We went to a lovely pub about two minutes walk from the house and upon our return watched TV and chatted to Grace. Breakfast was continental style and fresh. Overall, superb value for money and is highly recommended. Thank you Grace.

  • We were perfectly welcomed during our night at Miriam's. The house is very spacious and we were able to access the kitchen without problems. The room was large and Miriam had provided a heated draw sheet and an additional blanket as it was not hot in Connemara at that time. We were able to taste an excellent Irish breakfast facing the bay, an unforgettable moment! Thank you Miriam

    Stéphane2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful view of the sea, Miriam is very welcoming

    Clotilde2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice stay at Miriam's. The whole family was attentive and considerate, especially with our baby. Special mention for breakfast!

    Stéphanie2019-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • A very warm welcome, spacious and pleasantly decorated room, a particularly delicious Irish breakfast and an extraordinary view of the bay. Perfect !

    Christian2019-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • The arrival on the premises is a little disconcerting because the outside is not maintained, so do not choose this place for the house itself. On the other hand the room is big, and pleasant, with its bathroom. And especially Miriam is a very friendly host, who has the sense of hospitality. She really wants you to feel good, and she also gives good advice on places to visit

    Sylvain2019-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • Miriam's house is perfect for a stay next to Connemara. She is a very caretaking host and prepared a lovely breakfast. The view from the house is just breathtaking. The room and also your bathroom is really clean and nice. I would love to come back!

    Isolde2019-06-15T00:00:00Z
  • I spent 6 nights in this b & b, and enjoyed every minute. Bernard and Miriam with their daughter Erin, are wonderful hosts. They treated me very well and treated me as one of their friends. They invited me to drink tea with them, an evening to discuss in front of, and even for a meal! They always helped me to prepare my excursions taking into account my desires. Their house is great, the view from the living room is superb. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the bathroom very well equipped. I very much enjoyed the breakfast that Miriam prepared for me every morning: Irish full (with eggs, bacon, sausages, fruit etc) or, on request, an excellent porridge. There are many excursions possible in the area. I enjoyed the hikes of the little Vaughan's booklet, which I recommend. By cons, a car is necessary: Roundstone is 15 minutes by car. I have already seen many Airbnb, but this one was by far the best! Thank you, Bernard, Miriam and Erin!

  • Quiet place, close to all points of attraction in County Galway, a great welcome. Fabulous decor, extra bedding, a fabulous and hearty Irish breakfast. Welcome to Foxglove Homestead. We offer an exciting form of accommodation. Here you'll stay in a Tiny House in the beautiful heart of Connemara, County Galway. Do you enjoy a different way of holidaying? Do you like to be immersed in the Irish wilderness with no other sounds than grazing sheep, a bee flying by or some playing children in the background? Then our Tiny House might be for you. It offers a comfortable place to stay with the best views in Connemara.
The tiny house sleeps two adults in a double bed that is located in the loft that you access via a ladder. You’ll have a great overview of the landscape from your ‘bedroom’ window. The house has a fully kitted kitchen with an induction cooker, oven, microwave and fridge. The bathroom has a toilet, sink and luxurious rain shower. The Tiny House is situated on the grounds next to the cottage we live in. Guests have access to the fifteen acres of the homestead that run down to a lake that is perfectly suitable for swimming and fishing. The allotment is also free to visit. And who knows there might be something for you to harvest and enjoy at dinner time. From Foxglove Homestead it is just 15 minutes drive to beautiful Roundstone with its amazing beaches, 15 minutes drive to Kylemore Abbey, Connemara National Park and 20 minutes drive to Clifden and all it has to offer. * We’ve only just started opening our Tiny House for guests. Therefore don’t expect fully landscaped gardens and paths. The grounds are still a work in progress. The Tiny House and grounds are probably not very suitable for people with disabilities. Nevertheless we are excited to share this incredible beautiful place with anyone who is up for it.
  • Anne's place was amazing - wish we could have stayed longer. The tiny house has everything you could possibly need and gorgeous touches like fresh eggs and bread (delicious!). We stayed over New Years and were expecting it to be cold, but there's a really efficient heater and super cosy bed, and if you bring slippers or thick socks you'll be toasty. The scenery is amazing and we loved how quiet it was - the bench and swing outside are perfect to sit on in the morning with a cup of coffee and take in the view. Absolutely perfect stay if you want to get away from it all. Thank you so much Anne!

  • This was by far my favorite Airbnb ever booked. Anne and Tom are outstanding hosts. The locations is absolutely incredible. We were greeted by smiles, hospitality, fresh bread, homemade jam and eggs. Anne and Tom go to great lengths to ensure your stay is a lovely one. • I have just spent two calm and relaxing days in Anne's little house. I loved every minute of it to the point I had to force myself out of the house to do some sightseeing. I arrived in the dark after a 4 hour drive in the dark and rain to a warm house with freshly baked bread and fresh eggs. And the view is breathtaking. I will be back. Soon.

    Malene2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Although we didn’t get the chance to meet Anne and Tom, their warm welcome and hospitality was definitely felt during our stay. Anne left us a delicious homemade loaf of bread to enjoy, which was just the sweetest gesture. The tiny house was the perfect getaway—we already have friends asking where we stayed after seeing pictures of the views! We will definitely be recommending this place to others.

  • We were warmly welcomed by Cliodna's mother. The apartment was clean, provided enough space for us five and everything was there, even food for breakfast. We had problems with our rental car, but the father of Cliodhna really helped us a lot!

    Katja2018-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Charming little house, well moved, warm with its wooden interior, very clean and ideally located to shine in the region of Connemara. We had a great welcome and a very good exchange with Cliodhna's mom.

  • Well located cottage, on the wild Atlantic way. Very well furnished, simple but comfortable. Hostess little crossed, but warm and attentive.

    Jacques2018-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • Nice house (lot of wood), nice place to visit connemara (national park, Clifden, beautiful Beaches ...) nice hosts! Pretty little house with lots of wood, no frills, attentive hosts, starting point for the connemara, perfect for a family of 4, 5 or 6 people ... Little more for the kids this summer: The kitten probably abandoned by his mother that we had fun to feed and to caress :) We would stay more! I recommend !

    Carole2018-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • Cliodhna's home is a perfect place to enjoy the peace and quiet of the area. We were warmly welcomed by Cliodhna's mother and niece who are absolutely delightful people. It was so touching that they came to see how we were doing every day and whether they could help us in any way. Being a tour guide himself, her brother provided us with a lot of tips and ideas for things to do in the area as well as the Cliffs of Moher and Galway. The cottage has spectacular views of the ocean, especially from the top bedroom. It's a wonderful place to relax and enjoy long walks. The pub, which is a few minutes walk from the house, serves a refreshing pint and delicious food (especially their seafood chowder and Irish stew) at reasonable prices. Live music on Sundays which we unfortunately missed. A must visit when you're in the area. There's also a little store next to the pub, but we did our shopping on our drive to Kilkieran as the prices here are rather steep as expected in a little village. Really can't complain about anything! We would love to be back and perhaps stay even longer this time. Thanks Cliodhna!

    Maanika2018-08-01T00:00:00Z

My place is close to Lettermore, Carraroe village and Rossaveal Port. It is located in Annaghvane (Eanach Mheáin), the first island in Ceantar na nOileán (Islands connected to the mainland by causeway). The Connemara Isles Golf Club is within walking distance. Beaches and walking routes are also near by. You’ll love my place because of the comfy bed, the quiteness and the lovely countryside/Gaeltacht scenery. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups.
Situated between Lettermore and Carraroe village. The house is located in Annaghvane (Eanach Mheáin), the first island in Ceantar na nOileán (Islands connected to the mainland by causeway) and on the Wild Atlantic Way. The Connemara Isles Golf Club is within walking distance of the house as well as the Hooker Bar (Named after the Galway Sailing Boats) and the Annaghvane Pier which is used by diving groups from all over the country. The Connemara Isles Golf Club is a 9 hole golf course, with breathtaking views of Cill Chiaráin Bay, Cnoc Leitir Móir and Cnoc Mordáin. There are five beaches in Ceantar na nOileán including Trá Heuston in Lettermullen named the after the famous American film director, screenwriter and actor, John Huston. Trá an Dóilín, a blue flag beach near Carraroe village, is noted for its very fine "coral". Contrary to the English name (Coral Strand), the beach is actually made of coralline algae known as maerl. This biogenic gravel beach is rare and of great conservation importance. Also there are walking routes in the area and a lovely walk up Cnoc Leitir Móir which offers spectacular views of the surrounding area. Rossaveal Port is a 15min drive from the house where you can get the ferry to the Aran Islands.

  • We stayed at Maureen’s Home for 2 nights. It’s a lovely house and we had a spacious room with comfortable beds. Everything was really clean and Maureen made us feel very welcome. The room where you get the breakfast has a beautiful view out to the ocean and another little island. The breakfast was lovely and more than enough for us. Maureen happily answered all our questions. We enjoyed our time there.

  • Maureen will remain the big favorite of our trip to Ireland. A beautiful house at the end of the world with a view of the sea, very quiet; a very clean room and bathroom, a soft bed, hearty and delicious breakfasts; Maureen offered us tea with cupcakes every late afternoon. Maureen is an extremely pleasant and friendly person with a lot of humor .... To advise without moderation ....

  • The Barn is a fantastic place to go if you want peace and quiet and to get away from city life. The place itself is one of the best equipped Airbnbs we have been to; nearly everything has been thought of eg enough equipment to cook, some staple ingredients, an umbrella, bicycles, picnic equipment etc. Suzanne can give you advice/tips on where to go and is close by should you need her for anything. The location is great for visiting nearby sights and access to and from the island is easy. We loved the whole place even though the weather was a bit wet and cloudy; in the sunshine it must be even better.

    Claudia2019-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • For future travelers to Suzanne’s Old Barb Cottage in Carna, you will not be disappointed. What you read about the cottage in Airbnb is what you will get and more. Enjoy your stay and explore a piece of heaven. ☘️

  • Old Barn Cottage is a dream come true for those looking for peace, nature and super friendly hosts. We fell in love with the place and Connemara and are looking forward to our next stay

  • Wild and beautiful spot. Lots of thoughtful touches from Suzanne. Very cosy. Stating the obvious but bring a brollie.

    Howard2019-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • Suzanne's cottage is out of time. It is a unique address due to its location in the wild west of Ireland. Everything is peaceful and pleasant .... It feels like home (wood stove, coffee maker, oven, washing machine) and at the same time you feel alone in the world. Suzanne is extremely kind, she had prepared cereal jam bread for us ... it is a good base for visiting the connemara. There are a lot of pretty walks to do. Do not hesitate if you want to be disoriented and calm.

    Virginie & Jonathan2019-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is a little diamond: lovely, very well equipped, clean, quiet and paceful. Suzanne is a perfect host, nice and attentive: she welcomed as with a delicious package including homemade bread and jam!

    Silvia2019-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • Suzanne and her husband Hugh gave us such a warm welcome, it's hard not to like their Old Barn Cottage. There were very thoughtful touches and the cottage supplied everything you need - and more! What we liked best was the cozy chats with the hosts, the view of the Connemara mountains from the bedroom and the mooing of the cows in the morning. Mweenish really is paradise on earth and we can't wait to go back!! Thank you, Suzanne and Hugh for making our holiday special!

    Inga2019-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • Suzanne's home is a haven of peace in a beautiful area. It is perfectly equipped, the bedding is very comfortable. We loved cycling around the area (bikes were at our disposal) and swimming in the sea. (The beaches are a short walk from the .. cottage). Upon arrival we met Suzanne who is a very friendly and enthusiastic host. She advised us on activities, restaurants, walks to do. His bread and jam were succulent! In short, an excellent stay. Thank you Suzanne.

The house of Maureen is just wondeful, with a beautiful terrace over the ocean. The room is comfortable and very cosy. We had spectacular breakfasts in front of the ocean. Her breakfasts are the best ever and we had the opportunity to taste her homemade bread and spounge cake. The view from the house is incredible: if you look for calm, serenity and beautiful sceneries, this is the perfect place. We met her kind dog, very well educated and cute. We hope we will take the opportunity to come back. Thanks for all. Eileen is a true Irish women like we love them ;-)

  • Eileen's place is wonderful! A hidden gem right at the waterfront. The drive there alone is beautiful, and it's perfectly located to go for a hike in Connemara/in the area. The drive to Galway is around one hour, so nice for a little stroll there as well. We nearly did not want to leave the place though! The cozy little chalet is perfectly equipped, you have your own kitchen, supplies for a beautiful breakfast and brilliant views across the bay! There's central heating too for colder nights. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to have a quiet time :)

  • We had a wonderful and lovely time. The cottage had a beautiful view and a good location - everything you need can be reached within 10 minutes. Mary always responded asap and had some good infos in a folder. We would recommend the cottage to anyone who‘d like to stay outside of the city.
