  • Great location and value for where it is. Hosts were lovely and the place was very cosy. I asked for another heater as my partner was cold and they brought one over really quickly. Turned out the heater had unplugged so just the one was actually fine! :)

  • Modern, spotless studio in an ideal location to visit all areas of South Wales. My husband and I stayed in Kim’s studio for three nights and it was a perfect place for us. Spotlessly clean with everything we needed for our stay. A lovely, quiet, private location which was perfect for us to explore the area. Kim was a great host. She was there to meet us when we arrived and she had provided milk, bread, tea, coffee, butter, and jam! So thoughtful to provide basic provisions, especially if arriving late or after a long journey. If you are a couple and happy with a studio, this one close to Tenby and other places on the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast and of course the coast path, is perfect. We certainly recommend Kim’s place.

    Susan2019-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • Kim’s place is so lovely, it’s very cute and cosy! It’s exactly what we needed for our overnight stay. It was super close to all of the places we wanted to visit so it was perfect. Also, I highly recommend a visit to the Dragon Palace Chinese restaurant (also does takeaway which we did) as the food was stunning! It took us about 3 minutes to walk there. Thank you very much again.

    Pembrokeshire, Wales, United Kingdom

Situated in a quiet valley surrounded by fields, bordered by a strip of native woodland trees, Swan House is a former Ale House used by miners in the 1850s. In this self-contained studio attached to our residence, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen and cosy living space with an adjoining bedroom (king-size bed) and en-suite shower room. Walk to the top of the field to watch the sunset, or have direct access to Pembrokeshire's historic footpath network, the Landsker Trail/Miners' Walk.
You'll have sole use of a private decked area beside a fern banked stream and a small garden area - the perfect spot to sit back with a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. In the winter this is also a perfect spot to wrap up warm with a mug of hot chocolate and look for shooting stars in the huge dark night skies. In the spring we have a profusion of blossom and bluebells; through the summer we have flowers, house-martins and swallows; blackberries and apples in autumn - all on your doorstep. You'll find Pembrokeshire's world famous beaches just a ten minute drive away. Enjoy Britain's only coastal National Park with panoramic views on the 186 miles of coastal path, surf at Freshwater West or paddle in the clear water at Saundersfoot - there's something for everyone. Only six miles from Tenby it's the ideal location for anyone interested in Ironman Wales – a renowned annual triathlon course that takes place across the stunning county, circumnavigating Swan House, and attracts visitors and participants from across the world. In November Tenby also hosts a weekend Jazz and Blues Festival which has, historically, attracted some big named artists and is well worth a visit. We're also a short drive to the beautiful open spaces of the Preseli Hills and a ten minute drive away from quirky Narberth, nominated for the 2018 High Street of the Year; named the UK’s cleanest and greenest town (September 2019) and is featured as a Great British Break in The Sunday Times (25/8/2019). It's a charming small town full of antique and bric a brac shops, galleries and restaurants - the perfect place to while away an afternoon. Or if you fancy something a little more 'lively' then there are all kinds of watersports, coasteering etc within a very short drive and, in July, there is a weekend of Hot Rod racing on the famous Pendine Sands just over the border into Carmarthenshire. Off road private parking directly beside your holiday accommodation and secure bike storage.
  • Gareth and Sarah are lovely hosts, very friendly and helpful. The studio was perfect place for a getaway. Very clean, modern and cosy. Easily located with satnav, even in the dark! Would definitely recommend to others!

  • This is an immaculately clean space that had everything you needed for an enjoyable and relaxing stay. The accommodation is well situated and easy to find, it is also a great spot to base yourself to explore West Wales. Gareth and Sarah were on hand to speedily assist with any queries we had and provided lots of advice / materials about what to do in the local area. It’s a very cosy spot and it has a quiet and peaceful atmosphere that is ideal for unwinding. Everything inside is nice and modern and there are clear instructions regarding recycling etc. The bed was very comfortable and spacious and all bed linen and towels were spotlessly clean. A really lovely place and somewhere that’s worth more than just the one visit

  • A lovely stay at Dave and Angela's cosy chalet. It had everything we needed and was a great location for exploring southern Pembrokeshire. Thank you both for a lovely weekend! P.S we echo everyone's comments about the bed - super comfy!

    Amanda2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay in the chalet was absolutely perfect, Angela was so friendly and welcoming and told us everything we needed to know upon arrival. Photos do not do this place justice the chalet is beautiful and much bigger than expected and the views are just lovely. Thank you so much for letting us stay with you, we hope to come back in the future, Chloe and Dilon.

    Chloe2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • We really loved our stay. The apartment was clean, well equipped and we were welcomed with cookies and fresh milk and some flowers on the table. The bed was comfortable, as well as the shower and the kitching can easily be used to make a meal for 2 or more.

    Bart2019-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • This is a beautiful, bright studio that is surprisingly large. It was spotless and had the lovely added touch of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, chocolate digestives and fresh carnations on the table. Also salt and pepper. The kitchen has everything you need to cater for your trip. The animals are all friendly and the owners couldn’t do enough to help. The bed is beyond comfy, to the point that I want to buy the same mattress for home. Would highly recommend for a peaceful and relaxing stay.

    Gillian2019-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • Great accommodation. We can't recommend more highly. Everything you need is there. Dave & Angela were great hosts.

    Maureen2019-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • Really good place to spend a few days. The house is really nice and Dave and Angela take care of every detail. I would strongly recommend this place.

    Gonzalo2019-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • Angela and Dave were absolutely wonderful hosts. They went above and beyond to make our stay very special. There was excellent communication beforehand and they recommended some great activities for us to do, including local surf schools, bike hire and walks. Their home was just beautiful and the chalet was spotless. The kitchen was fully equipped and they even provided things like washing up liquid and shampoo which made our stay that much easier! The view outside was stunning and the animal family that accompanied was a real treat, we will definitely miss Saffy and the cats the most!! Perfect hosts and a stunning location, we will definitely be returning!

    Rosa2019-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • A really lovely place to stay. It is quiet and peaceful and a great base to explore the Pembrokeshire coast. The chalet is spacious and very well equipped. We particularly appreciated the comfortable bed and place to sit outside and enjoy the evening sun. Dave & Angela are friendly and helpful hosts. We highly recommend staying here, it is a rare find.

  • Annie and Julian's Airbnb offer is exactly as described - so lovely not to have any unpleasant surprises! Was really thoughtful that they have put fairy lights in the hedge and were able to turn them on to guide me to their home - a haven amidst the darkness and rain! I had the single room which was more than adequate at a great budget price and had a lovely view too! House was well heated and bathroom cosy too. Would highly recommend.

All very clean and tidy, all the little things you’d forget are there and the little touches are fantastic - down to there even being a fire stick in the tv. Beds comfy, bath fantastic and kitchen just beautiful. Communication great and couldn’t be more helpful. We will definitely be back again, already looking at other dates. Highly highly recommend!

    Kayley 2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • This property should come with a warning!! More than one infact! I shall start with that bath... the water stays hot enough to fill the whole bath ... there are candles to light.... there is space to put a wine glass behind you (be careful of having glass by the bath of course) and there is WiFi so I could use my Alexa to play Enya softly in the background .... heaven... why the warning?!?!? I nearly fell asleep the first time ever. Super relaxing comfy deep long Bath. Perfect after a long day walking the pooches to Broadhaven around the lily ponds. The other warning... that sofa... we lost three hours on that bad boy? Stupidly comfy and cosy in such a lovely space, loved the large window as it made it easy to keep an eye on the pooches when we let them out in the enclosed garden.... which is huge! Warning number three, I’ve already planned the next stay in my head and many more beyond that if they will have us back... the Sumer would bring the use of the BBQ the fire pit and full use of that garden, with such a lovely view too. Do not hesitate to book this stay ... unless it when I want to go.. in that case I saw it first!! Enjoy and most importantly relax

  • An expected find, providing great value comfortable accommodation with a great selection of supplies to make the stay complete. It’s a great central location, whilst on a main road, this is certainly not an issue, I’m a very light sleeper and it didn’t bother me in the slightest Though we didn’t meet Edward, he did communicate throughout the stay to ensure we were happy

  • Wonderful stay at the treehouse. The log burner was wonderful and kept the whole place toasty. The underfloor heating was also a treat. We loved waking up surrounded by nature and watching the birds feed while having a morning cuppa. I will particularly miss the hot tub x

    Kerry2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved our treehouse adventure. So cosy, little one loved her little bedroom/den and of course buck the deer! Stargazing in the hot tub listening to the owls hooting was magical. We even managed a row on the pond. Thank you Carol Anne and Martin for your hospitality-cheese board was a lovely welcome too.

  • Amazing stay at the treehouse everything we expected and more

    Jade2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing place in an amazing location. Beautiful and private all at the same time. Everything we expected and more. The hosts had gone above and beyond and even added personal touches to make it even more special. We stayed there over the weekend of storm Dennis and even though at times you would feel the odd shake from the wind (only to be expected) I never felt unsafe! Even spent the night time sat in the hot tub with Dennis whirling around us which was an experience we’ll never forget! Cannot thank them enough we truly had that best valentine weekend we could of wished for and we will certainly be back again!

  • I am struggling to find the words to describe just quite how amazing our stay in the Treehouse was, we were there for 4 nights which covered storm Ciara visiting and sitting by the fire while the rain poured and the wind howled was perfect, we even sat in the hot tub in the most appalling weather but due to it being very sheltered it was a fantastic experience. The Treehouse itself has so many little touches, the stove is lovely (and was lit for our 4pm arrival), the under floor heating is really nice to stand on in the morning! The treehouse was never cold (which did worry me!), I loved all the blankets that were available (didn't need them but I do love a blanket!). We saw lots of wildlife - lots of different birds including a wood pecker, and squirrels came to visit. You are very secluded in this little area and nobody overlooks you. Carol Anne suggested a curry for the first night (I cannot remember the supplier) it was really delicious and she offered advice on where to eat etc. Locally Narberth is a lovely little town with many little cafes and independent shops, we also visited Tenby which has larger well known shops but retains its charm and has a selection of smaller independents also. Can also recommend Folly Farm (excellent if you have children, we didn't have any with us and still spent a fair amount of time there!), Manor Wildlife park (their animal experiences are fab, highly recommend you feed the red pandas!) and also Pembrokeshire Llamas (We walked Macsen and Myrrdin). We fully intend to come back next year xx

    Sarah2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect place to spend New Year’s Eve. The hot tub made all the difference and the treehouse is so cosy. Martin was really nice and gave us some tips to visit the surroundings. Would highly recommend!

  • What a lovely area of the world, completely out the way of normality, its in a great place not too far from a lovely little town called Narberth. The place itself is so quirky and lobely and the hosts helped with everything we required.

  • Donna and Gareth have a special spot. The site is peaceful ( we stayed late September), and the grounds are well maintained. The pool is lovely and warm and the children's park is great. The only down sides we experienced was that the changing room for the pool could of done with a deep clean and a spinner for swimwear would be really handy. There is no onsite shop or one in the close area. We ate at the reastraunt and although it looked lovely and it was clean, the meal we had was mediocre. Maybe if we ate there more we would of enjoyed different dishes. We loved that it only took 15 mins to Saundersfoot and everything else we wanted to do ie bluestone, folly farm etc was close enough. Donna and Gareth were very quick to respond to messages. The caravan was lovely and homely. Although not sparkling clean, I could see that effort had been put in to clean the caravan for our arrival. There were plenty of toilet roll, hand wash and cleaning products available. We will definitely be returning in the future if Donna and Gareth will have us. Thank you both for a wonderful little holiday.

    Natalie2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • What a great Caravan and Park! Dona's caravan is very homely and beachy, what else could you want whilst staying in South Wales!!! My husband and I had our 3 month old son with us and they had everything for a smooth trip with a baby. There is plenty of room next to the main bed for a travel cot (our own) and kitchen has all you need as if you were home, we cooked most nights and nothing was a miss. The bed was comfy and the whole place was always at a great temperature. The park is easy to find and so close to all main landmarks/beaches. We loved the heated pool and it was even hot enough for our baby to go in. Charlie's restaurant was nice and friendly, only ate there once for dinner and it was delicious! Communication was excellent as well, we cannot be happier! We will definitely return, thanks for a home from home feel 😊😊

  • We spent a lovely three days here, great location to all the local attractions, the caravan was clean and well equipped with everything you need! we had a great time and hope to go back in the future .

    Tracy2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Dona and Gareth’s place was a much needed sanctuary following a busy summer holiday with a new born and busy 3 and 6 year old boys! Communication when booking was excellent and stress free. Directions and instructions for arrival were great. The caravan was beautiful. The decor perfectly fitting for a coastal West Walian bolt hole. It had everything you needed but felt more comfortable and cosy than other caravans we had stayed in and definitely more spacious. It was no problem fitting the travel cot in the master bedroom. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything you could require. There is a good selection of both children’s and adults DVD’s. The park itself is lovely, especially if you want to avoid the larger ‘club house’ type break. There is a beautiful salt water hydro pool with a hot tub and luxurious changing area. A very classy looking restaurant/ bar (we didn’t try but the food is meant to be very good). There is also a lovely children’s play area. The caravan is perfectly situated if you wish to access local attractions such folly farm, the dinosaur park, blue lagoon at bluestone and local towns such Tenby, Saundersfoot, Narbeth and so many more! Can’t recommend highly enough. Thank you Dona and Gareth, we had a great time!

  • Very nice caravan, in very quiet area. 20 min drive from Tenby. The actual park had very warm swimming pool and the gym. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you Donna and Gareth

    Vasilya2019-06-03T00:00:00Z
  • So glad I came across Dona and Gareth's caravan! It was spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you could possibly need! Caravan park was lovely and quiet, and kids loved the playgeound and swimming pool! A huge bonus is the location - conveniently close to all the main family attractions and only 20 mins from Tenby! Will definitely look up this caravan again when looking to holiday in the area. 😀

  • I've stayed in numerous places at AirBnB and none can compare with the hospitality that came with this place. For the price, I was expecting it to be a little quirky, but the motorhome itself was efficient, modern, clean, spacious enough, comfortable, warm, I can't fault it! The host was lovely, inviting and nice to speak to. Very helpful with explaining how different things worked in the motorhome and friends and I hope to stay again soon!

  • Stef is super lovely and goes out of her way to give you the most wonderful and warmest of welcomes. Literally! We arrived to hot water bottles after a very wet and cold day at folly farm. The caravan is surprising roomy. Absolutely spotless. Fabulous views. Such great value for money. We will definitely be booking again. Hopefully next time though there wont be any weather warnings in place!

    Samantha2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Stef did everything to make our stay pleasurable. The only thing she could have done, was sorted the weather 😁 It was February in a caravan, but we were very cosy.

    Richard2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Stef was incredibly relaxed and patient with our change of plans, and arriving late after our gig. Very friendly and happy to just let us get on with it. Thanks Stef!

  • Fantastic home, very spacious and clean with some lovely personal touches like Welsh Cakes!! Highly recommend and the space is very cool and well set out! Cannot fault it! 12 minutes from Tenby so perfect for the Ironman!

    Ollie2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • We spent 5 days in the cottage with our two Grandsons aged 4 and 10 - this home was one of the best we have ever stayed in and the area offers so much to keep everyone happy. An amazing happy holiday. We highly recommend this cottage. Thank you Kath and Rob.

    Stella2019-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • We are a family of 5 with 3 children aged 9, 11 & 13. We spent a short break 4 days, 3 nights at the cottage and had a great time. It was very clean, beautifully decorated and thoughtfully furnished with quality items. It felt like we were staying in a home from home and not a rented cottage. Thank you for the gifts on our arrival, they were very well received. Location was perfect for getting around all of Pembrokshire, with Narberth only up the road and the beaches of Tenby and Saundersfoot a short drive away. I was a little apprehensive of the proximity to the main road, which to be honest was busy but we kept the windows closed on the road side of the house which was no problem. We have been to Pembrokeshire many times in the past and this was one of the nicest cottages we have stayed in. Yes we would 100% recomend this cottage. 15 mins away from a secret beach at Skrinkle Haven, where you can access at a private cove at low tide or through a secret passageway in the cliffs.

    Andrew2019-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • This home is a little gem of a find... the photos don’t give the correct perspective of how spacious the cottage really is. We received a message prior to our stay asking us if we needed anything at all for our little man which was more than appreciated. The thoughtfulness didn’t end there... we arrived to a chilled bottle of wine, welsh cakes, tea, coffee & sugar. A lovely selection of family games were also put out for us to enjoy! The beds are super comfy, it’s immaculately presented throughout and we wouldn’t hesitate to go back. The only area that caused a little frustration was the hot water system. 5 of us stayed and there was not enough hot water for 3 back to back showers. No biggy to wait for the water to reheat but would have preferred not to. All in all a very pleasurable stay with super thoughtful hosts 😊

    Robert2019-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks for a very enjoyable stay in your lovely property - the photos didn't show how fab it really was and it was spotlessly clean. Excellent communication throughout and we were very grateful that you were able to let us check in earlier and the welcome gifts of wine and welscakes were a lovely touch. We all had a fab time and will definately return :)

    Mark2019-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • Great cottage. Immaculately clean. Comfortable beds, sofas etc. Good location for Pembrokeshire. Right next to a fairly busy road but not too bad if the windows are kept shut. Lots of nice touches and extra items provided. Fast WiFi and Netflix available which is a bonus. About 500m from Folly Farm which is great for kids.

    William2019-06-28T00:00:00Z
  • This is such a lovely place for a group of 5 to 6 people. Really clean and spacious, and in a great location. Only a 10 minute drive from the beach and local shops are a 15 minute walk away. We’d love to come back in the future!

    Lotte2019-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • A truly wonderful cottage, very well equipped. Perfect and very cosy. Beds extremely comfy! Would definitely stay here again. Thanks to the wonderful hosts for the gifts upon arrival and for helping us with any queries.

  • Amazing place, great location. Despite Storm Dennis we felt safe, warm and happy - very spacious for our kids (1 & 4) to play and relax between attempting adventures. Folly Farm is just up the road, excellent local Chinese (best Singapore Noodles we've ever had - and they delivered!). Comfy beds, lovely shower, brilliant kitchen for watching the kids play in the dining room. Netflix! Didn't even make it to the conservatory- but that looked excellent for chilling in the evening. Perfect AirBnB-ing!

Carol was really helpful with any queries we had before our stay as well, and even let us check in slightly earlier than planned. Would definitely use again and recommend to others.

  • Mables gypsy wagon was an amazing stay and the hosts where amazing there's plenty of places to eat and things to do near by. It's a lovely location and they were very helpful and happy to help with anything.

  • Had the loveliest weekend, despite the awful weather! After a super peaceful weekend we are feeling revamped. The area is really secluded from the other accommodation on site so you feel like you're the only people there. Mabel is super cute- lovely to snuggle up in at night with the wood fire going. The hot tub is an added bonus for total relaxation. I'm sure if the rain wasn't pouring down we'd have pulled the roof back and looked up at the stars!Well equipped kitchen area and spotless and large shower facilities. Lots to do in the surrounding area. We really enjoyed our weekend with you. Managed to pop down in the sunshine (finally) and spot the tree house- think we'll have to pop down and stay there! Thank you Carol Anne and Martin, Steven and Laura x

  • You will not be disappointed with this magical haven that CarolAnn and Martin have created We were completely taken away from our daily stress. There is nothing quite like sitting in a hot tub under a night's sky looking at the stars. The wagon was exactly what we were looking for; cosy, warm, personal and traditional. 3 days spent laughing and relaxing in nature, thanks to this enchanting escape that has been created. Definitely recommend and we will definitely be coming back! Thank you. Ali and James xx

  • Quiet, relaxing, kitch quirkiness at its best. Chloe and I stayed in super cozy and comfortable Mabel the Romany Caravan for a wet and wild wind, weekend and loved every moment. If we weren’t snugged up around Mabel’s super warm stove chatting and reading, we were relaxing in the hot tub post a long yomp through the neighbouring forest and fields. Or cooking up a feast in Mabels very cool and very well equipped kitchen area, which includes a pizza oven come wood burner stove for sitting around whilst star gazing! CarolAnne and Martin are fantastic hosts, everything has been thought of whether practical or simply ornamental to induce a smile. Abundant flora and Forna hides you from the world, with birds frequently visiting the feeders! Dogs are most welcome with Mabel’s plot (1/4 acre ish) being securely fenced and gated so your 4 legged pal(s) can romp freely. Toilets and showers are immaculate with plenty of hot water. We also had a viewing of the 2 other cool accommodations on-site. Spudnik the space pod and the secluded riverside tree house, complete with slide! Both awesome! We’ll be back to stay for sure, whatever the season! If you enjoy Mother Nature with a good balance of creature comforts, book yourselves in here but just not on the dates we wish to stay ;) Oh, should also mention the many walks and or hikes immediately accessible. Beautiful scenery and choices for all abilities. Easy walk to a good pub! 5 min drive to a decent co-op. Enjoy!

  • Where do I start, I can honestly say it was a little slice of paradise. We Instantly relaxed after the long drive. It has a gypsy caravan, a pizza oven, and a hot tub what can I say perfect. The caravan was incredibly quaint and beautiful. The experience was amazing with the cute little log burner in full flow looking out to the stars. Also It was very comfy and I had a great nights sleep ( I was worried given I’m six foot and 16 stone!) We made our first ever pizzas we relaxed in the tub looking at the stars, perfect. Also the pizza oven with its door open doubled up as an outdoor fire which again just added to the experience. On top of that the hosts were so lovely, welcoming and accommodating. The site is in a great location for the local beaches and Narberth. The gypsy caravan itself is very private, and nestled into the surrounding area. 10/10 guys, we will definitely be going back to stay at the gypsy caravan again or one of their other experiences.

  • We loved everything about our stay in Mable. She’s pretty tiny - don’t underestimate how much, but the extra space in the lean to kitchen makes it easier. The steps are steep so bear that in mind. Some people (hi mum!) wouldn’t manage them well. We loved that our first morning was pretty chilly, as we could light the little stove. The bed was very comfortable, and laying in it whilst it rained, watching the birds go mad on the feeders outside was wonderful. The very private garden is beautiful and tranquil, with an array of herbs and flowers to enjoy. The shower and toilet block is warm and very clean. Narberth itself is fantastic. I visit it a lot, and I love that it is devoid of the usual chains. We ate lovely cake at Plum Vanilla, and on our last night took a taxi (about £8.50) to the new seafood restaurant Madtom. It’s very good. One night we used the pizza oven which wasn’t especially successful. We’ll put it down to user error, and hopefully next time they’ll look a little better. In summary, we’ve had three nights away with the relaxing benefits of a weeks break. I definitely recommend and will certainly go back.

    Mia2019-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Mabels for three nights with our dog Milly. From the moment we arrived and throughout our whole stay CarolAnne and Martin were absolutely fantastic. They really did go the extra mile to ensure we (and Milly) had a wonderful stay. Milly loved the large fenced in Garden and her morning with CarolAnne when we had a few hours at the spa. Put simply, Mabels is a dream. We could not have asked for a better or more memorable time. We loved every minute of our stay and didn’t want to leave.

  • This apartment was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. You will not find more helpful hosts anywhere else. They responded very quickly to our queries and provided plenty of helpful information about the locality. Extra touches were much appreciated such as wine and chocolates in the dining room and welsh cakes and fresh milk in the kitchen.

  • A great location to explore West Wales and a host with lots of useful, local information. Great apartment too and everything we expected.

  • Steve is a wonderful host from start to end of your trip. From booking we received all the help we could possibly need and getting close to the trip all the details we could want, making for a restful break. The accommodation was as described and plentiful for us, travelling as a couple. Steve was on hand to provide us with details regarding how to get to Wiseman’s bridge or to Saundersfoot. Tenby is a short train ride every 2 hours to and from (mid week) and, mid week, the trains are ever 2 hours. It is close to bus routes too but don’t rely on them past 7pm. The place was clean and quiet, full amenities and smart TV too. Lots of thought has gone into this place and alongside Steve’s assistance with local knowledge it is absolutely worth considering this place.

Templeton is rich in history; although nothing remains of its Sentence castle except a mound, it is an interesting walk and St Margarets well has been sympathetically restored. According to local legend Templeton takes its name from the Knights Templar who hunted in the nearby forests and had some form of religious house or hospice in the village. Records are few and far between. The earliest reference to the village is 1282 when it was called villa Templaril. The village has always been agriculturally orientated and the field structures have remained static for hundreds of years. It has a population of roughly 850. The village Post Office closed in 2011 and there is now no shop, and only one pub The Boars Head; which has been serving since 1837! Highly recommended for lunch or supper. The Knights way footpath and Landsker borderlands walks are both near to the mill. There is also an abandoned airfield close by. A haven for wildlife and wild birds.
  • Although Spodnic speaks for itself and is truly a unique experience, all the attention to detail CarolAnne and Martin have provided really added to the stay. A great range of games, DVDs and outfits to keep us entertained, excellent kitchen amenities and a beautiful, serene surroundings. Friendly hosts who provided tasty fresh eggs from their chickens too 😊 Brilliant location, extremely close to Folly Farm and lots of lovely beaches in the nearby area - Martin was very helpful suggesting places to visit and giving directions. Thanks for providing such a wonderful place to stay.

  • Best glamping space ever! 👽🚀 Spodnic was such a brilliant place to stay; we’ve had such fun! It’s all so thoughtfully designed, very unique and extremely well equipped. The shower/bathroom facilities were immaculate, the site is well kept and there were so many things for the kids (and big kids!)...games, toys, dressing up, books, DVDs. It’s full of quirky humour. In particular it was so nice to be supplied with onesies for the colder evenings. CarolAnne and Martin are such nice people, full of good advice about the local area and very keen to help. We had a great cycle ride around the coastal path, thanks to them. Also really love their ‘leave no trace’ motto; they all about minimising waste, recycling and looking after the facilities so they are nice for all to use. Overall we had a fab stay and we’d love to come back!

    Sara2019-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • Great find - very original and lots of fun

    David2019-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • CarolAnne and Martin are everything you want in a host. Friendly, welcoming, and knowledgable. Once you are settled in they then leave you to enjoy their spectacular and peaceful corner of the world. This is a special place that sneaks up and unwinds you from day to day stress very successfully.

    Adi2019-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • A must stay for nerds, nice touches all over the place and a hot tub too!

    Andy2019-06-28T00:00:00Z
  • We arrived and were greeted with a Birthday card, bunting and a box of eggs from their hens, we stopped for a couple of nights in the Spodnic. Obviously a unique and fun experience, although we didn’t use the cooking facilities for our two night short break everything was available, oven, hob, fridge, freezer, a good mixed selection of pots, pans , utensils, plates etc... Hot tub was really relaxing! The toilet block including the showers were spotless with CarolAnne and Martin truly living the “leave no trace” on our natural surroundings, this is something they impress on their guests. We have come back from our short stay with a little more fun in our lives and well relaxed. Many thanks Martin, CarolAnne.

    Tony2019-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I stayed at Spodnic for our 1st wedding anniversary with our GSD, and we all had an ‘out of this world’ adventure! It is such a fun and unique place to stay and enjoy whilst exploring the Pembrokeshire coast. Really great location, which felt private/secluded in the middle of beautiful nature, but actually within 10 mins drive of some great pubs/restaurants, shops and beaches etc. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and it was all spotlessly clean including the shower/toilet block which was really well done and didn’t feel like a shared campsite facility at all! CarolAnne and Martin are such fantastic hosts and made us feel so welcome; they were brilliant and always on hand/contactable to give us tips and recommendations. They even helped us out with an emergency local vet app when our dog needed treatment, thanks you superstars!!! All of the thoughtful little touches they did to make our stay extra special were fab. We loved the dressing up bag as we are ‘big kids’ and it was Star Wars day, so ran around dressed as Stormtroopers and Jedis etc haha! Started each day with Fresh eggs from their beautiful chickens and ended each evening in the hot tub under the stars, lush. We will be back someday! xxx

  • A beautiful little place to stay which is close to so many places. Neil and Alex have created a modern space which is different to anything I’ve stayed in before. Little touches of tea, coffee and welshcakes on arrival help give a homely feel. Neil was helpful on arrival and clear instructions left if we felt we needed anything. Myself and Jason had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend. We look forward to visiting again soon.

  • Lovely stay in a really cool place. It was very cold the first night (we stayed end of Feb), but Neil provided wood for the burner the second night, which was greatly appreciated. Very good communication with good directions from Neil. Very convenient location, with takeaways and a shop close by.

  • The round house is a lovely and snug place. We enjoyed very much our stay. Neil was very kind and helpful.

  • Firstly let me declare an interest and say that I do know the hosts....we live close by and our children went to school together. I also know some of Neil's passion and flair working with timber....... from large scale structural work to intricate carvings. When I needed to 'house' two unexpected extended family members for Christmas at short notice, Alex & Neil sorted things for me within 30 minutes.... If you want a palatial getaway packed with every electric device from robot a vacuum to a £1000 coffee machine and nearby shopping malls to while away your time........... you will be deeply disappointed. But if you want a unique bolt-hole for yourself or to share with a loved one and enjoy the countryside, the coast or just your own company for a few days....... this is the place for you The round-house has been imaginatively designed and lovingly crafted, from the structural timbers to the unique custom built units and furniture......and full of understated quality detailing. And as much care has been taken ensuring the house sits effortlessly in the environment.....the outside space is part of the house. My surprise guests are already planning to book with Alex and Neil to enjoy some long soft summer twilights, sitting on the wooden terrace drinking in the views, air and an aperitif or six. It is the nearest thing you can get to a tree-house on the ground...... even the smell of the timbers. Anyone who enjoys wildlife, painting, photography, a stopover walking the coastal path or a cycling holiday. Or just a break to relax and drink in birdsong, peace and clean air......... It was scrupulously clean, but Alex and Neil are not just good hosts...... They are experienced, thoughtful and imaginative and it shows in those special little touches, eg on Christmas Eve even when they were busy getting ready for their own family gathering .... they took the trouble to light up the house and garden for our guests at night .... they are both in their 60s but said it was 'magical and so very Christmassy'. It is also excellent value.

  • What an amazing little hut. Much bigger in person and had everything that we needed. The hosts are amazing and very helpful and let us get on with doing our own thing. The hut is spotlessly clean, has a kettle, fridge, toaster, small gas hoband microwave. Another little treat was the telly which we were not expecting!! There is ample outside private space with a table and chairs, loungers and a fire pit!! This hut is in the perfect location for all local attractions! And folly farm is a must to do :) If your looking for a relaxing, cosy getaway this is perfect! We wished we could have stayed longer!

  • An absolute gem. I will always look to book this place first when I come down to Tenby. Super friendly owners, absolutely amazing dog proof field, superb views and in an absolutely silent village. Really felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. The night time in heavy rain was so cosy and then we could open up the double doors to the glorious garden in the sun the next day. Thanks!

  • Amazing hosts, ideal location in a very quiet area.

    Rikki2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • Communication with Chris was easy, Roy welcomed us at the property and showed us around. We arrived completely drenched but the apartment got really quickly warm, it was cosy there and well equipped. There is a really nice game room with billiard, darts, games and books where we had loads of fun. The garden looked real nice and views were stunning unfortunately the weather was too bad to be outside. Mattresses of the common space bunk bed could be a bit more comfortable but otherwise we really enjoyed our stay and hopefully will come back soon.
