  • We had a fantastic weekend away. The hot tub was out of this world with spectacular views. It had everything you need inside and very dog friendly. We will definitely be back 😃

  • The lodge was perfect! We arranged an early check In which was very helpful! Pulled into the estate and within a second Ernest Pulled up to greet us with helpful and kind tips! We loved the small touches and it was literally home to home vibes! The hottub was very enjoyable and relaxing! Lodge is in a rural area with us perfect for a quite getaway! Lovely estate for a walk with a cuppa and dressing gown! Unfortunately the weather wasn’t excatly how we expected but that’s not anyone’s fault! Tighnabruaich was a tiny village but as season was quiet many shops was closed which is understandable but it’s very much so worth taking a drive to Dunoon!b Where you would find everything you need! I recommend this place highly and will be returning in the future!!! The best part was our last night we was in the hottub and turnt all the jets off and lights and it was just so surreal, Sky was clear followed by hundreds or manybe thousands of stars, planets to a few dears & a pheasant Walked by the lodge! Very magical! We don’t want to go home!!! Thanks again Alison and Ernest

  • A gem of place. Wonderful location and great amenities - Well worth a visit.

    Graham2018-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • Very cosy cabin in beautiful surroundings. The hot tiub is a bonus and is a lot bigger than it looks in the photos which suited us perfectly as my son is 6' 5"!! It fitted my son, daughter and my hubby and i perfectly after a long days walking. The beach at Ostel Bay is well worth a visit especially if you have a Border Collie like us who needs loads of exercise. Kitchen and bathrooms were great and very clean and the kitchen had all the amenities required. Will definitely be back. Host super friendly and everything explained in great detail on arrival.

Millburn Cottage is a traditional & quirky 3 bedroom property situated in an elevated setting. In a west facing position with sunsets and views over Loch Fyne. Semi-rural but close to the local village of Tighnabruaich with a secluded garden, wildlife and walks.
It was the original Mill in Melldalloch, outside the ancient village of Kilfinan. It is in the parish records of 1642 as Dougal Blacks House & Mill. Today the cottage has been upgraded by its artistic owners and has a quirky character. The dormer rooms in the cosy upper bedrooms retain original wood panelling & provide spectacular views to Loch Fyne & beyond. The open-plan lounge has a wood burning stove with a modern vibe. There is a bespoke free standing galley kitchen off the lounge and a modern bathroom with walk in shower. There is a large conservatory to enjoy the scenic views. The garden is large and has a wonderful variety of flowers, shrubs and wildlife. The burn which originally powered the Mill has been redirected and is now a beautiful feature of the garden. The entire garden is fenced in and is ideal for pets.
Argyll's secret coast: Cowal. Is an area of outstanding beauty with wonderful beaches and scenery. The area surrounding the cottage has fantastic walks and cycling routes. There is a beach within 30-40 minutes walk from the cottage and Kilbride Bay with its extensive sands is a 10 minute drive. The Kyles of Bute Golf Course is a 10 minute drive. There are ferry routes to Kintyre and Bute nearby.
  • Lovely stylish cottage with a great host. Lots of thoughtful touches and the best equipped kitchen we have had in an Airbnb. Thick duvets and a warm fire made our January stay very comfortable. Parking was easy in a little gravel area on the other side of the road.

  • Amanda’s place is absolutely wonderful. Extremely helpful tips before traveling were crucial: it would have been near impossible to find the place when driving in the dark had it not been Amanda’s terrific instructions and her kindly leaving the house lights on! The cottage itself is delightful, the decor is gorgeous and the area is just as secluded as the trouble finding the place suggested. Our “wee wander” to the “local” shop was an amazing 14k walk through breathtaking scenery and the local restaurants are great too (even off season!). Would 100000% like to stay again!

    Tiia2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Amanda's cottage over Christmas. She's a very kind & thoughtful host - so helpful & communicative. Millburn was so peaceful, with amazing views over Loch Fyne. The cottage has everything you might need, and is designed with style and care. Our dog had a great time in the garden, he was fascinated by the burn, the visiting pheasant and the owl hooting somewhere in the trees. The surrounding area is full of things to do - Amanda has loads of great tips for walks & food/drink. We'd love to return & try some more of them, as well as just to spend time in this lovely cottage.

  • Unbelievable views and so peaceful

    Hilary2019-11-22T00:00:00Z
  • Such a stylish, cosy and welcoming cottage. We loved the views, wildlife and log burner. The local area is filled with great things to do - amazing walks and beaches. A real gem of a find - we can’t wait to return.

  • Gorgeous cottage in beautiful location. If you want comfortable accomodation away from the stresses of everyday life then this is the perfect place for you. Wood burning stove in the lounge made it super cosy on a frosty day. Great host. Thank you!

  • Book it bravely! Fantastic hosts, amazing scenery, brilliant accomodation. Thank you! 10/10

  • This is a gorgeous little cottage, very comfortable, perfectly kitted out, peaceful surrounds and lovely views. We (2 adults, 2 kids under 10) spent 4 days in the area, enjoying coastal walks, scenic drives and cosy evenings in front of the fire. Amanda’s food recommendations were perfect and we loved the Oyster Catcher, Inver and the Kilfinan Hotel.

  • Buck's House is as specified. The road to the estate is bumpy and has to be managed with care. The estate has beautiful grounds, wildlife and is perfectly situated to retreat for a while. The coastal road is stunning and I would definitely recommend a stay here. Stock up with food, buy a couple of bags of firewood and get lost in the surroundings.

  • Our stay at Bucks house was our best experience with AirBnb thus far. The cottage is in a remote, idillic location surrounded by forests and beaches. It is beautifully decorated, spacious and immaculately clean. Highly recommended to anyone looking to get away from everything and go somewhere a little more "off the beaten track".

  • A great cosy warm space! In the middle of a beautiful estate which is great to walk around. Super clean and lots of information on the town provided! Was lovely!

  • A truly wonderful little getaway. I felt like I was in a Beatrix potter book, hidden away.

  • We had a wonderful stay at Deborah’s bothy. It’s such a beautiful, cosy space in a incredible location. The estate has so many beautiful views, we even went down to the little beach for a swim. The area in general is a gorgeous place to explore so lots to see within a short drive!

  • We would highly recommend this AirBnB! The accomodation was stylish and spotless, very cosy and comfortable as well! Take your time looking around the grounds of the estate as it is a beautiful and scenic escape! Our favourite place was down by the water! We loved our stay here and can't wait to come back!

  • The Bothy formed the most perfect off-grid bolthole for our mini-moon. We were unsure quite what to expect when we arrived, but The Bothy exceeded our expectations in every way! It was spotlessly clean, cosy and inviting and Debbie had left a lovely card and treat for us. Nat was super friendly and based on his recommendations we changed our plans and were so glad we did, the Oyster Catcher did not disappoint! We both had the best nights sleep that we have had in a long time - attributed to the most comfy bed and the peaceful surroundings. Thank you for helping to create some awesome memories, we would definitely love to visit again, for longer!

    Danielle2019-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • A neat little place on an estate property to relax and enjoy the nature around. If you follow some mowed path on the west end of the property you will spot deer, highland cattle, squirrels and various birds easy. Some good watertight foot ware is needed, as some parts are off track. The bothy is well decorated and has all the essentials. And within 30min drive there are plenty local (seafood) places to eat!

    Harold2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • This is a cosy bothy with all you need for a very comfortable stay. Nat and Debbie are excellent hosts and the estate is wonderfully quiet with great walks through woodland and down to the coast. A good base to explore this part of Argyle.

    Michael2019-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful, comfortable stay! Spotlessly clean, lovely bed, bedding and towels. Very well equipped kitchen - everything easy to use. Plenty space for our black lab. Delicious eggs. Perfect weather too! Lovely to meet you, Debbie. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

  • Very cosy and thoughtful conversion into a bothy/ high end hostel style place. Beautiful location on the water, and right next to a very nice and friendly pub.

  • Fantastic view, comfortable beds, nice shower, very clean! We knew how to use the electrical shower, but maybe a munual would come in handy for some visitors. Tristan is the best host ever!

  • This is a isolated region of Scotland that is beautiful, the lodge itself is quent- very warm and cosy and great view over the loch. Definitely a place to get away from the hussel of daily life, switch the phone off and relax. Pub next door with a good hearty menu and nice beer and wines _ good place for outdoor activities

We offer the studio flat in our basement, just off the High Road in Tighnabruaich, situated in a beautiful oak and hazel woodland, but a short walk from both the seashore and the local amenities (the local hotel bar/restaurant and shops). The flat consists of a double bedroom with television and electric heating, a shower room with wc and heated towel rail and a kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, fridge and coffee making facilities.
There is parking space immediately outside the apartment.
We are nestled in oak and hazel woodland which you are welcome to access through our garden. Opposite the entrance to the studio is a short and shady passageway down to the nearby burn - a waterfall lies in the glade at the end in the gully. Very idyllic. The sound of the waterfall is a constant, soothing presence. The heart of the village is a short walk away down Bobby's Brae. In downtown Tighnabruaich you'll find the Tighnabruaich Hotel's bar/restaurant which is friendly of price and atmosphere, Raj's local grocery store, the Tearoom, and the Abbeyfield Charity Shop. Kyles Athletic Shinty club play their home matches nearby, their (in)famously sloping pitch edging down to the stunning Kyles of Bute.
  • Wonderful place to stay. Everything you need, with a private entrance. Highly recommended.

  • We had a great time at Craig and Inge's. Couldn't ask for anything more - friendly helpful hosts, comfy bed, breakfast included and perfect location for exploring the area. Within walking distance to the local hotel where we had a delicious pub dinner by the fire. Perfect escape from the city to a gorgeous, peaceful setting.

  • Great wee place to stay in Tighnabruich. Even left us some breakfast items. Really handy for the tide and thyme restaurant

    Karen2019-11-23T00:00:00Z
  • Craig and Inge were great hosts. Good communication. Everything as advertised. Very good value. If ever in the area in the future I would stay again.

    Alan2019-10-31T00:00:00Z
  • What a lovely place this is, I had a great couple of days exploring the area with my my dog Isla - Inge and Craig and their two dogs are friendly welcoming hosts. The area is very scenic, from a suggestion by Craig we found Ostel bay and the community forest where we explored the tops and hills on the Cowal peninsular. Local amenities are great, walking distance down the hill is a well stocked corner store and a lovely tea room which, welcomed Isla in too. The pub serves great food and I found the locals to be very welcoming. The annex was a perfect for size for me and Isla, there was a heater in my room so we stayed nice and cozy and the kitchen had everything we needed and I liked the added touch of being stocked with bread and eggs. Overall a friendly and wonderfully scenic place explore and relax!

    Jenna2019-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • This is an absolute gem of a place. It had everything we needed for our stay and more and we were very comfortable and cosy. The morning view is spectacular and Inge is a perfect host.

The vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board is stored in the bedroom cupboard. There is a dressing table - a hairdryer is stored in the drawer. The second bedroom is in the studio space adjacent to the cottage. It has an ensuite toilet (please note there is no shower in studio space) and tea and coffee facilities and comfortably sleeps 2 people in a truckle bed which can be made up as a double or two single beds. There are potential hot surfaces (wood burner) and sharp edges, and there are two ponds in the garden with streams each side of the cottage. Also we do not allow dogs.
Quiet peaceful location situated on former forestry land overlooking the village of Tighnabruaich. The area is one of outstanding natural beauty on the West coast of Scotland, an ideal place to stay for rest, relaxation and recreation. The area has excellent hill walking and rambling routes, beautiful peaceful coastal walks, hidden bays and beaches. The Royal Hotel and Shinty Bar is only 5 minutes walk away, and the Kames Hotel, in the adjoining village of Kames, is less than 15 minutes walk away. There are excellent grocery stores in Tighnabruaich and Kames, providing a range of fresh vegetables, foods, beers and wines, newspapers, logs, etc. Within Tighnabruaich, and the adjoining village of Kames, there are public tennis courts, 9 hole golf course, shinty pitch, sea fishing from pier, massage, hair dresser, three hotels with bars and restaurants, "Tide &Thyme" Restaurant, popular cafe, art gallery, a post office, and well stocked gift shop. The area is good for bird watching and there is fresh water fishing with permits obtainable from the post office. There is a popular sailing school located at nearby Carry Farm. The Waverley, the world's last ocean-going paddle steamer, docks at Tighnabruaich during summer months. Portavadie Marina, Restaurants and Spa is located a short drive from the cottage. It offers luxury and relaxation in stunning surroundings, including outdoor infinity pool and hot tubs, sauna, steam room, indoor pool and gym. Non-member day visitors are welcome. Adjacent to the cottage is the Kilfinan Community Forest where there are recently created forest walks.
  • Heather is very good and friendly host. The communication before the trip was very uncomplicated and we got all important information we needed and a lot of detailed descriptions about the area. A real beautiful cottage. Decorated with love and care! So nice. (Thank you for the fresh flowers.) Wonderful garden, quiet, nice village … Chozy Cottage and everything you need. We were very sad that we could not stay longer.

  • A beautiful cottage in a secluded corner of Scotland, perfect for a peaceful get-away. The space felt larger than it looks in the photos and sunlight fills the living area. Everything was clean and the kitchen was modern and well equipped with little extra touches like fresh eggs, milk and wine. The garden was pretty and is surrounded by trees. Tighnabruaich is a beautiful place to be based with lots of woodland walks and pretty beaches nearby. Heather and John were perfect hosts, very welcoming and helpful while allowing us privacy to enjoy our time away. Highly recommend staying here.

  • Heather was an amazing host and the artists cottage was absolutely adorable! Loved all the decor and little touches everywhere. Heather gave us a great list of stuff to do in the area and made the check in process so easy. I would definitely recommend staying here if your visiting the area!

  • Heather's cottage is set in a lovely quiet and peaceful area which we found very relaxing. The cottage was spotlessly clean and the beds very comfortable. There was everything we needed for our weeks stay. The additional touches of milk, bread, eggs and even a bottle of wine were very thoughtful and kind. Heather is a great host and we would love to stay again soon. Christine & Leanne

  • We enjoyed Heathers besutiful cottage very much. We slept in the annex because of the big glas windows with a view in the nature. Waking up there is a dream.

Rest and rejuvenation, peace and tranquility; off-grid, no electricity, no neighbours, feeling remote with glorious views over the sea to the Isle of Bute with the Isle of Arran in the distance. Mountain stream fresh water heated with wood burner warmth. Coronavirus. Our cleaning and changeover staff undertake the cleaning tips and hygiene recommendations provided by Airbnb from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and wear single use gloves and masks whilst in the property.
The cottage is a comfortably rustic traditional building constructed of stone and slate in 1896 as a gamekeepers cottage for the Caladh Estate. The stone wall and pine clad ceiling interior has exposed beams. The wooden floor boards in the main two rooms and the stone floors to the rear rooms are painted. Heating is by virtue of a wood-burning stove and log fire. The wood stove's back boiler produces hot water so you can bathe in the wonderful long deep Victorian cast iron bath. Lighting is provided by enclosed candle lanterns, the candles for which are provided. For cooking there is a 4 ring gas cooker with oven and grill and the kitchen is well equipped for most purposes. A modern digital radio and a stereo CD radio cassette with lead to accept stereo media are provided. Please note there is no electricity or land telephone line. The local hotels and cafes accommodate visitors to charge up their media devices. The main bedroom has a pine double bed, chest of drawers, two small bedside chests of drawers and a recess for hanging clothes. Heating is provided by a log fire. The second bedroom has a bunk bed with double bed on the bottom and single up top and some large wall shelfs and a hanging rack. There is a small conservatory with table and chairs to the rear side of the cottage with lovely views over the Kyles of Bute. Hillview Cottage was featured as one of the three best Scottish hideaways in the issue of the Observer Magazine on 26 August 2012 as part of a weekly travel feature called 'Joanne O'Connor's Great escapes'. It's also featured briefly on the Guardian website as part of the same article.
Tighnabruaich and it's adjoining neighbouring village of Kames are located on the Kyles of Bute at the southern tip of the Cowal peninsula, which lies between the Isle of Bute and the Kintyre / Campbeltown peninsula. The sheltered coastal waters and breathtaking scenery of the hidden peninsula combine to make the area an idyllic choice for people looking for tranquility and a peaceful getaway. There is no real throughput of traffic, people visit specifically as their destination, and the laid-back community feel of the peninsula is much akin to that of an island. The villages are approximately 2 hours from Glasgow, whether you chose the ferry route from Gourock over the Clyde estuary, and the drive past Loch Tarsan, Loch Striven and Loch Riddon, or the drive round past Loch Lomond, Loch Long, Loch Fyne and Loch Riddon; both journeys equally spectacular. The Scotsman newspaper identified the road from Glendaruel to Tighnabruaich as the best scenic drive in Scotland in its issue of 29 March 2007. The area is popular for bird watching, sailing, hill walking, rambling, cycling, sea kayaking, art, sea and fresh water fishing, (fresh water permits obtainable from the post office), etc. There are also facilities for tennis, golf (9 hole course with glorious views over the Kyles of Bute), sailing tuition at the Tighnabruaich Sailing School, etc. You can also catch a game of shinty on Saturday during the season, when you will see the legendary Kyles Athletic play. Only a few miles drive, and a subsequent walk will find you at Ostle Bay, a kilometer of white sands overlooking the North of the Island of Arran, or a few more miles to Auchalick Bay with it's beautiful lagoon and views over Loch Fyne to the Kintyre peninsula. The Waverley, the world's last ocean-going paddle steamer, docks at Tighnabruaich during summer months. Kames, and the adjoining village of Tighnabruaich, provide a range of services, including 2 supermarkets, 3 hotels with bars and restaurants, bistros, art and antique shops, 2 post offices, petrol filling station with car maintenance, hair dresser, massage, etc. The new Portavadie Swimmimg Pool provides swim/sauna/heated outdoor poor/outside spa/cafe and prices include all facilities, open 7 days. Ferry links from Portavadie to the Kintyre Peninsula and from Colintraive to the Isle of Bute provide excellent opportunities for exploring more of the region. The microclimate that subsists due to the prevailing Gulf Stream from the South West provides significantly more sunshine than Glasgow, and significantly less rain!
  • Beautiful, romantic getaway in a fabulous location. Peter is a great host

  • Get away from it all and go back to basics in a beautiful setting. Must visit local restaurant Thyme & Tide for awesome food, and walk up the hill behind the cottage for stunning views over the Kyles of Bute.

  • Beautiful location, rushing mountain stream near by with stunning views. Super cosy, simple cottage that is off grid so perfect for an escape, but with still a few special touches like a fire-heated hot bath and cosy log burner. As described there is a steep access track so be aware of this. Would love to visit again!

    Lesley2019-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is such a good escape from a busy life. Amazing views, secluded and a small paradise which is very special. Our dog loves it as she can independently explore the surroundings.

  • Peter couldn’t have been more helpful from start to finish. The cottage is such a wonderful place with beautiful surrounds and fantastic atmosphere. I visited with my husband and two children and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Will definitely return in the future!!

  • Just gorgeous, stunning location!

    Rebecca2019-06-29T00:00:00Z
  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this fabulous, quirky little cottage. When you are there you're in your own small world. The lack of electricity to the property adds to it's quaintness and actually only adds to the whole experience. The setting and the views it affords are second to none and the sense of peace they provide have to be seen at first hand to appreciate fully. We stayed with our two labradors and they thought they'd died and gone to Heaven! I can't recommend the place enough and Peter the host was so helpful before, during and after our stay. Book now! You won't regret it.

    George2019-06-14T00:00:00Z
  • Our trip of 5 days just wasn't long enough. Reality far exceeds the photos and description of Hill view cottage! Upon arrival, there was a Stag in the garden which the dogs found very interesting. Definitely the best 'meet and greet' I've ever had! What a sight! We also saw his friend across the stream on the last day. The cottage is perfect, just far enough away and off the beaten track to really feel you're in the middle of nowhere but close to the village if you really need anything. We saw 2 people go past the cottage in 5 days! The walks straight from the cottage are amazing. Cross the stream and head up and you can go up and over into the village via the old 'pass of the castle' (now a 4G mast - we had full on 4G!) which gives stunning 360 views, or go down the hill and take the forest path. So many choices! I work in IT so was wary being so off grid but the fire really does it's job, the kitchen is perfect and the 4G was an extra bonus if you fancied some Netflix! My dogs were in heaven and dog tired by the end of every day!! Every morning I would wake up and just be stunned with the view down to the loch. I just couldn't get enough of that view! All I can say is, you've got to go. I wish you wouldn't because it might be booked when I try to go again but you can't be selfish with a place like this!!

BEAUTIFULLY REFRESHED AND NEW ON MARKET! A charming traditional cottage offering a peaceful hideaway in one of Scotland’s most beautiful locations. Boasting stunning views over the Kyles of Bute, this delightful seafront cottage is perfectly positioned in the heart of Tighnabruaich village. Full of character, this little gem will inspire you to slow down and enjoy the simple pleasures!
Borrowing beautiful light from the ever shifting sea-scape, the main living area is designed with comfort in mind. Think of lazy mornings spent bird and boat watching, with cosy suppers in front of the wood burning stove. The open plan allows easy pottering in the fully equipped kitchen, while the patio doors unlock unspoilt views of the panoramic coastline. The cottage features a spacious double bedroom and a small (but perfectly formed) twin bedroom. Both bedrooms are decorated with simplicity and utility in mind. The master bedroom has a neat little ponder desk, complete with green leather Captain's chair. The generous family bathroom includes an over the bath shower with instant hot water. Enjoy complimentary artisan seaweed soap. Lovely finishing touches add to the appeal of this historic wee bothy and will help make you feel right at home. The cottage also contains essential modern comforts including WiFi and a smart TV to allow you easy access / sign in to your own subscription packages. Extra Guests? The main living space also features a super comfy sofa bed should you have extra guests (up to 2 extra guests (max visitors 6)). 2 small and well behaved pets are also welcome. The cottage is accessed by a gate, leading to a private, enclosed garden with a sheltered aspect. A sun trap from early morning until late evening, the patio and BBQ areas offer spectacular views over the island of Bute beyond. Sunrises and sunsets are often breathtaking! To the rear of the cottage a freshwater brook provides a relaxing soundscape. *NEW*... an outdoor wood burner and forest style fire pit open up al fresco evenings, even if the weather turns chilly (additional photos coming soon!).
On the doorstep is the heart of the village, offering a small selection of shops and eateries. These include the beautiful Tighnabruaich Gallery and wonderful Tide and Thyme bistro, specialising in amazing local fayre (plus lovely coffee and cake). Also well worth a visit is the Tighnabruaich Lifeboat Station where you can learn about the amazing work they do to save lives at sea. Tighnabruaich is a picturesque, sheltered anchorage with lively moorings. An ever shifting view, you can watch the local fisherman and visiting yachts navigating the bays. Surrounding the cottage in all directions are stunning coastal and forest walks / vistas.
  • What a wonderful weekend in a truly special little cottage! It was lovely to get indoors and fire up the wood burning stove after arriving in some very wintery weather. The views over the Kyles of Bute from the living room are stunning and we spent a few happy hours just relaxing and getting cosy while watching the weather sweep over the landscape. The interior of the cottage is beautiful and packed with lovely decorative touches - Katy clearly has a keen eye for interior design. We were very comfortable throughout the weekend and enjoyed cooking breakfast in the well-equipped kitchen. For me, one of the best features was the sound of the river flowing at the back of the property - the perfect soundtrack for dozing off! Tighnabruaich itself is a lovely little village, full of character and surrounded by some of the West of Scotland's best scenery. On Katy's recommendation we made the short trip over to the Portavadie resort for a day in the spa - swimming in the outdoor infinity pool as the snow fell is an experience we won't soon forget! Highly recommended, as is the Marina restaurant for a great evening meal. We also thoroughly enjoyed lunch at Botanica at the Barn. Once again, thanks to Katy and Paul for a warm welcome and for putting their heart and soul into this special little place. We're already planning a return trip in the summer.

  • We had a great two-night stay at Ronnie’s place. The flat is much bigger than it appears in the photos. We were travelling as a group of three. There was enough space for us to come together as a family and enjoy each other’s company, and also to have privacy and time by ourselves. The flat is homely and it had all the amenities we needed. I was impressed to find a bathroom stocked with shampoos, body washes, cotton pads and other essentials. The bedrooms have hairdryers and straighteners. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, as well as a washing machine and ironing board etc. A traveller could turn up with their changes of clothes and not need to bring much else. The rooms were stylishly decked out in seaside themed décor which really suited the place. The bathroom is a lovely big space for relaxing in a bubble bath, with separate shower room. We enjoyed eating at the dining table in the kitchen, and also sitting at the bay window in the living room watching ships sail by and people enjoy the waterside. The views are spectacular. The hosts had left a few really helpful handwritten notes: one about how to use the fire and another about the history of the building (which has been owned by the family for generations) and suggestions about how best to enjoy the area. Our double bed had a memory foam mattress and was sumptuously comfortable. As previous reviewers have said, the flat is quirky and charming. It is an older building and any guests must be comfortable in climbing stairs to access the property. We found the whole property and all of the facilities to be sparkling clean and fresh. We plan to stay again next year.

    Laura2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely quirky flat which is much bigger than it looks in the pictures. Rooms are bright and airy as well as very spacious. It is on old building with lots of charm. The stairs as the description point out might be a problem if you have any issues climbing stairs but we had no problem with them. The view is spectacular and we were lucky enough to have beautiful weather to sit and watch the boats sailing by.

  • Ronnie's place is at an amazing location facing a most beautiful serene Loch. Amazing neighbourhood as well, a lovely cosy pub next door, great cafes and tea rooms within walking distance. Lovely places to visit and for walks. Portavadie the nearest Ferry port has a beautiful Marina. The neighbours are very friendly and helpful. Almost every body we met stopped for a chat. The apartment itself is very cosy and quaint with everything one would need for a comfortable stay. Ronnie provided all essentials. The living room had the best nook with a table and two chairs fitted into the space making it an ideal place to admire the scenery. Ronnie was readily available to give us valuable information and advice about places to visit and things to do. What a hidden Gem. The place to stay if you are visiting Argyle and Bute. It was better than a home from home place because the location was simply stunning. Thanks Ronnie and Fiona for letting us stay at your family home . Ronnie

  • I love this place

    Dan2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • The house is very comfortable with great views from the kitchen/living room area, bathroom and one of the bedrooms. The village has friendly, useful services and has remarkable views, as does the surrounding area. The shower can use all the hot water, particularly when four or more people are staying, but you just need to wait till the boiler refills. At the cost Ange charges for the house this is a minor inconvenience. Ange's communication prior to and during the booking was second to none and her replies to any queries were practically by return.

    Iain2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful home, very roomy, tastefully decorated and has everything you could need for a great stay.

  • Great place to stay, Angela was very easy to deal with. The flat was clean, tastefully decorated and provided all the amenities we needed. The Prosecco and Scottish treats were a very nice surprise. The view from the flat was stunning! What a gorgeous location.

    Lewis2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • An immaculate, well thought-out comfortable haven. Soft, comfy beds with even softer towels makes this home a great place to come back to after a day exploring or to ride out the bad weather like we did. The little extras put on by Ange and her attentiveness made our trip! A word to those with lower set cars - the property is up a rural country lane with some large potholes but you can always park at the bottom of the hill and take a stroll up. We'd recommend Ange's place to anyone!

The views were amazing and there were games in the apartment for rainy days and plenty on your doorstep in good weather. • The best place we have ever stayed in. They are really kind, the B&B is amazing and the breakfast.... no words to describe it! We'd love to come back again and again.

  • For me and my friend it was an extraordinary stay, with a familiar atmosphere, a great breakfast, a great view and a cosy room. Karmen and Gabor are very helpful, you could ask everything and they had a lot of good advice for our journey and all other Needs you can have during your stay. Because of them we had an even greater time at Tighnabruoich! Hopefully we're able to get there soon again.

Situated right on the shores of the Kyles Of Bute, this cozy cottage has stunning views and is perfect for water-lovers. The village of Tighnabruaich is a short stroll away, and a boatyard with slipway is equally close. A golf course with fabulous views is nearby, and there are some golf clubs available for our guests. Up to 2 well behaved and clean dogs are welcome. There is a private shed with room to store and lock up your own bikes and kayaks etc...
  • Our second time here, loved it even more than the first. Great house for the children, couldn’t find a better location, loved every bit of our stay.

  • This cottage has everything you need. It was clean and the beds were comfy. The view is amazing. We had a very relaxing time there.

    Moira2019-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • This is the place to go for a quiet retreat. The village is small and isolated, with a beautiful view of Bute from the lounge

    Darren2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect house for a family trip to Tighnabruaich, absolutely love being down this end of the village. House was clean, cosy, and with a beautiful view.

  • In a charming village on the Argyll Coast, Steve's cottage is a cozy place to spend a great time. While the decoration dates a little but that does not matter with the magnificent view of the sea, we especially remember that it is welcoming and cozy and it feels like home. The hosts are hyper reactive and we will forget the little touches! We recommend it! Small note on the village: the local grocery store is nice to help but expensive, we advise you to go to Dunoon to find more affordable supermarkets even if it is 45 minutes drive

    Anaëlle2019-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is right on the beachfront with truly spectacular views from the living room and patio. The village of Tighnabruaich is within an easy 10 minute walk. Fishing of the pier was really fun and golf at the local Kyles of Bute 9-hole course was spectacular. The course has a lot of "up" so be warned - but the views!! Recommend the Tide and Thyme cafe for breakfast/lunch and the Kames Hotel for dinner. We took the ferry from Portavadie to Tarbert and had a really nice day trip. I would be delighted to stay at the cottage again in the future. Highly recommended!

    Angus2019-07-17T00:00:00Z
  • A cosy, spotless, well equipped little cottage in a picture perfect location. You could sit and admire the view all day! Beds were comfy and the host provided everything we could need. A lovely place to relax and a great base for exploring the stunning surroundings. Would go back tomorrow! Dogs, Nana, 11 year old boy and husband loved it to.

    Sandra2019-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful cottage in the most fantastic location, Steve has been a amazing host with how he has set up the cottage and all the amenities, the local knowledge is amazing and the information booklet that other customers have written in was a great idea full of places to go, restaurant, bars beaches ,walks and many other ideas, but most of all the village and people have made for wonderful memories and we wii be back

Delightful cottage in stunning private waterfront location. Situated at the entrance to a private estate, the property offers privacy and location, with direct access to the shorefront and stunning views over the Kyles of Bute and breathtaking scenery of surrounding lochs, glens and mountains of Argyll . One of the few rental properties in the area that has no public road in front. A peaceful getaway, surrounded by nature yet within walking distance of the lovely village of Tighnabruaich
The cottage has been recently renovated and benefits from all the normal creature comforts and more. The property benefits from a stunning natural setting , complete with the soporific sounds of a beautiful waterfall located to one side of the cottage gardens. Surrounded by an abundance of natural wildlife, marine life , flora and fauna , including the endangered red squirrel , the cottage is a perfect coastal retreat , in which to relax and unwind with family and friends.
The stunning waterfront village of Tighnabruaich is just a 5 minute drive or a 30 minute leisurely waterfront stroll along from the cottage. It has shops, restaurants, hotels, pubs, post office, petrol station and taxi service: it has lovely tearooms filled with delicious home baking. There is a well known art gallery which hosts local and international artworks : the local stores are stocked with food and local produce, and other amenities including an ATM .
  • An amazing private location which is accessed via a track on the waters edge. The views are stunning and a joy to wake up to. The cottage itself is well equipped and comfortable. Jill and Chris were marvellously hospitable and my family were able to enjoy an excellent fireworks display with the hosts and their friends on New Years Eve. Thank you .

  • Wonderful cottage. Located just yards from the shore. Stunning views from every window including the bedrooms. Well heated and spotlessly clean. Everything you would need for even a long term stay provided. We really couldn't fault this, delivered exactly what we were looking for and we wouldn't hesitate in staying here again when next in the area.

    David2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay at West Glen. The cottage was spotless and all the furniture was brand-new. It was very comfortable, warm and we felt right at home. We really like the small touches left by our hosts like the guide books and games. The cottage is located in a peaceful and quiet place just off the village of tighnabruaich. We enjoyed walking on the path along the sea coast and in the woodland. You never get bored of the beautiful view overlooking Bute. We even got lucky and spotted a couple of seals. We highly recommend Jill & Chris' place.

    Julie2019-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • Exactly as described, this certainly is a delightful cottage in a stunning, secluded, shoreside location. A very friendly welcome from Chris and a simple, stylish, peacefully located cottage with a beautiful outlook over to the Isle of Bute and very comfortable beds. Loads to do in the area, you can walk, cycle, kayak off the beaten track directly from the cottage. Few minute drive or 20 mins or so walk into Tighnabruaich and Kames have good cafes and hotels. We ate at the Royal An Lochan and the The little Kitchen cafe which were both great. Will be putting this wee gem on our favourites list! Wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

Clamshell Lodge lies on the shore overlooking Loch Fyne. Located on the Ballimore Estate, at Otter Ferry, a surrounding of farming in the fields and forestry on the hills. A local pub (The Oystercatcher) less than a mile away. A beautiful view with fresh air - ideal getaway.
  • What a find! This place is so special. Right by the sea with amazing views, we were so relaxed watching the waves while cosy by the fire. It is a bit of a drive to the nearest shop if you forget the rice like we did 🤣! But the isolation is absolutely perfect! Highly recommend for beach wandering, oystercatcher watching and relaxing.

  • A remote, peaceful and atmospheric location, perfect for those wishing to 'get away from it all'. Be prepared to drive a few miles for near by places of interest, but enjoy the views as you go. The accommodation has everything you need, and on cold winter days the view combined with the wood burner is perfect to huddle up to.

  • We stayed in Tristan’s house over Christmas. The space was tidy and comfortable. The surroundings are beautiful and perfect for enjoying nature and exploring the lochs. Tristan was very helpful when checking in and helping with any queries. We loved the extra touches that Tristan made like putting up a christmas tree!

    Michelle2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • We love Clamshell Lodge! It is in a perfect location and it is beautiful inside and out! Really well equipped too. The views of the loch are amazing - it was lovely to swim in the loch then rush back indoors to get warmed up by the log stove! The oystercatcher pub was lovely and welcoming too - it was lovely to wander along the shore to get there. A perfect spot to just get away from it all for a few days, to slow down and find peace and tranquility. Totally recommended!

  • This little spot is beyond perfect - quiet and secluded, amazing views and a brilliant pub with great food within walking distance.

    Niall2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • The lodge has a wonderful view over the loch. We saw seals, red deer, rabbits and many many birds. The lodge has everything one needs for a holiday. It is better than the pictures. Comfortable beds and linens. A full kitchen. Tristan was easy to contact and a pleasant host. We enjoyed a few evening meals at The Inver restaurant, great food. And a pint at the Oyster Catcher. The walks at Puck’s Glen were enchanting and magical. So I can only say we had a wonderful time. Thank you

North Lodge is a newly renovated, extremely comfortable and superbly located self-catering holiday cottage equidistant between Tighnabruaich and Colintraive on the Cowal Peninsula in Argyll. North Lodge sleeps four (plus one infant) in an area of Scotland which boasts not just stunning views but also a vast selection of things to see and do.
North Lodge has a stunning location with fantastic views and a wonderful garden with a trout stream running through it! Truly idyllic!
  • It’s an exceptionally well-appointed cottage, ably accommodating a family of four that embodies the owners’ passion and knowledge for the area. It’s the location in particular which sets this property apart: a stunning part of the country with much to return to see and do.

  • I cannot recommend this cottage enough. On its own the cottage is gorgeous and cosy; but as we were there over the Christmas break, Anna made sure there were decorations up and it was perfect! It's in a great location to feel like you're remote but a close enough drive to petrol, food shop, pubs etc. Anna was very attentive by email, and the whole booking process was seamless. We loved every minute of this holiday, and would happily stay at this cottage again.

  • North lodge is a beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. The cottage lacks nothing and is maintained to a very high standard. My place is a gorgeous rural hideaway, hidden from the road, it nestles on the slope just above Loch Ascog. Access is via a 300metre track. The cozy cottage has underfloor heating and an open fire in the living room. French doors lead out to the decking area and the fenced garden. It has a well equipped kitchen and shower room on the ground floor and two bedrooms on the upper floor. Equipped with Wi-Fi, and TV screen, my place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids).
  • We had a wonderful time in Victoria's Cottage. On the day of arrival it rained in torrents, so we cursed the hilly and muddy path over the sheep pasture and our suitcases. But when we first arrived and the fire was burning in the oven, the arduous journey was almost forgotten. The decor is not quite as new as in the pictures. Here are some small repairs needed to make the house shine again in full glory. The house is fantastically quiet, at night only the sheep and a few moorhühner (?) To hear. We spent a lot of time in the house and the surrounding area. We recommend a trip to Tarbert, hikes in the area around the house and a visit to Botanica at the Barn. Tighnabruaich and Kames are nice little villages with some nice cafes. All in all recommended for those who seek peace and nature!

    Kathrin2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • Great place. Lovely for getting away and just taking in the wonderful Scottish countryside. Getting to the house is as described.

    Eleanor2019-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • Great holiday in Milhouse, the cottage is not easy to reach (especially when there is a lot of rain) but the game is worth the effort. The place is quiet and the view beautiful. Our daughters loved the sheep so close. And we even had the chance to see the shearing of the sheep one night on the way home. Thanks to Victoria with whom the exchanges were very pleasant even if we did not see ourselves in person.

  • You need a dishwasher and 20 Sat channels? Then you are completely wrong here. If you are looking for a small dream house in a fantastic location you have to keep reading. The ascent to the house can be a bit difficult depending on the weather. That's the price for the completely undisturbed location and it's less awful than it sounds. The wide and quiet, the view of the lake. The position of the small boat to the buoy shows you the direction of the wind. The air smells of heath and forest or of salt and sea depending on. As an alarm clock, the pheasant, the pleasing, gets up late. At night listen to the (quiet) sheep or the little owl. The house is a gem. Very comfortably furnished. The beds are excellent! We did not use the fireplace because the weather was very dull. Instead, breakfast on the terrace. Swimming in the lake, in the sea and in Portavadie. Be sure to enjoy "The Little Kitchen" and "The Tearoom" scones and Co. Reserve and enjoy a table in the evening in "Tide & Thymes" or "The Oystercatcher". Everything you need is in the Village Shop in kames. The accommodation is suitable for families. We stayed two weeks with 2 teenagers and had no complaints. The environment has a lot to offer. The Cowal Way is right next to the house, the beaches are beautiful. A trip to Bute is required. Please allow enough time for "Mount Stewart" just tip. Unfortunately, we were not in Tabert. For this we have made some long walks, partly cross-country on remote sections of the coast. Of course, the hill had to be climbed behind the house. He proved almost as a mountain, please do not underestimate. I had obtained a permit from the local fishing club and caught very beautiful and delicious trout at the lake. Also on the coast fresh mackerel and Pollack. Delicious. If you love the nature and the loneliness is in good hands in Victoria's house.

    Heinrich2019-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • Comfy cottage in a great location. Yes, you have to bring your stuff over a low hill to get there, but Victoria provides a wheelbarrow with two wheels which is quite stable and easy to steer. And it’s so worth it when you get there! You can’t see or hear the road, but instead look out onto a lovely small lake and gorgeous countryside with trails right out your door. The nearby tiny towns offer unexpectedly good dining, too. The fireplace was great for chilly evenings as well as for atmosphere, and the kitchen is well equipped.

    Brian2019-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing couple of weeks in Victoria's cottage. The views of the loch on the walk up there are incredible. As Victoria says there is a walk across fields and its all uphill but totally worth it for the escape from everything feeling you get in the cottage. There aren't many shops nearby so its worth planning your shopping before you come. We spent 2 weeks relaxing and going on many of the local walks there are. Beware of the mossies and midges around so worth taking some spray. The cottage itself is lovely with an outdoor area to sit with beautiful views of the loch, an open fire for those colder days and everything you need.

    Joanne2019-06-21T00:00:00Z
  • Victoria's house is the perfect getaway. The walk from the road is not far and the wheelbarrow provided to take your stuff over to the house is an excellent addition. We managed to see no other people for most of the time we were there (which is exactly what we were looking for), and although the weather was not kind, the wood fire provided both warmth and entertainment. Thanks!

Pretty little stone cottage on lovely 23 acre private Ormidale House estate just an hour and a half from Glasgow, in gorgeous scenery on Argyll's secret coast above the Kyles of Bute. Glendaruel is our village and we are near Colintraive. Just one bedroom and one bathroom but ingenious alcove double bed in sitting room (and two other beds and a sofa bed) means we can squeeze in a large family if required. Max 4 adults. With access to swimming pool, tennis court, games cottage...
  • Wonderful place to escape, beautiful part of Scotland. Estate Managers Pamela and Norman gave us a wonderful welcome and such brilliant knowledge of Argyll Secret Coast which made our adventures logistically superb. A few days of bliss, lovely grounds and spotless hot tub. Excellent, recommend and will visit again.

  • Myself and my 3 children (aged 11,10 and 8) and dog have just returned from an absolutely fabulous week staying at the Old Barn. There was a tiny blip with the accommodation prior to our arrival but John contacted me very promptly and a solution was found resulting in an even better holiday than anticipated. We spent most of our days using the facilities at Ormidale (swimming pool, tennis court, football pitch, trampoline, table tennis and pool table) which were so good the children didn’t want to go further afield. The on-site estate managers ( Norman and Pam) were absolutely lovely and so welcoming and helpful with any issues that we had (very few and very minor ) and had loads of recommendations for things to do. We were all very sad to leave and would love to return in future.

  • A fantastic week spent as a family of four in the garden cottage. A beautiful part of the world, away from the crowds with great walking on your doorstep. The kids loved the pool and the games room. Pam the house keeper was friendly and helpful and we returned refreshed and de-stressed.

  • Wonderful experience!

  • Had a last minute short break at Ormidale Cottage. Loved the facilities at this beautiful Estate. My son loved the swimming pool. The cottage is well equipped and cosy. Reminded me of a traditional Scottish “ButnBen” brought up to modern standards. Lovely linen, good kitchen facilities if you want to self cater or short drive to plenty good quality eateries on Argyll’s Secret coast. Would recommend for a weekend gettaway. Thanks John.

  • What a great place! We hired the van from Wheems, and stayed on their campsite a couple of the days. Communication ahead of time with Islay, Steve, and Mike was great, so we knew what to expect. The campsite is well-equipped with great facilities, and a jaw-dropping view. Having the van offers so much freedom for exploring the islands, and would probably be my first choice for this kind of destination. As it is not as big as a motor home, it meant that we didn't struggle with parking anywhere. This was a big plus, especially visiting places like Ness of Brodgar. The space is used very well, but there is not a lot of room for people to move around at the same time. This was fine for us, as we knew to expect a van not to be overly spacious, but it is something that needs to be considered. The freedom of the van more than made up for the limited room! Thank you for a great stay!

    Rachel2018-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • it is definitely worth renting a mobile home to discover the Orkney Islands. there are car parks with sanitary and cultural facilities all over the main island, Mainland. Wheems organic farm is very well located close to the east coast, the campsite can also accommodate tent, yurt or small wooden bungalow. There is also a grocery store of organic products and vegetables from the farm. to do without hesitation!

  • Islay and Duncan were really helpful about ferry crossings and went out of their way to collect us and drop us back. The camper van was really easy to manage. And very comfortable.

  • Myself and a group of friends spent a lovely New Year's at Greg's place. It was the perfect space for hanging out and cooking group meals (really well stocked kitchen), stunning views from the house and beautiful walks right on the doorstep. Would definitely return again, maybe next time in summer to get out onto the water.

  • Tichnabruich is a breathtaking place and this house, right by the lake, is the perfect accomodation! Our two boys had a great time with all the entertainment on offer. Lots of toys (the huge Lego box was a God's send!), Board games, DVDs, games room, kayaks, fishing rods, bikes... The house itself is nice, simple deco but has anything you can possibly need to have a great time. The upper floor with floor heating, was warm and welcoming. Having a cup of tea by the window looking at the lake was my highlight in the mornings! No need to bring anything with you, just food !!! The town itself is a little dead, only one shop to get the basics, and it's cash only! We had lunch at the little kitchen and it was lovely! Portavadie Spa is 10mim drive away, absolutely recommend going. Very reasonable price and nice heated infinity pool. Will definitely come back to Chuckie Brae!!

  • A lot of space, a great view and a good atmosphere. Greg was very quick to anwser us when we needed information. We were there with 2 families (4 adults and 4 kids), there was enough space for everybody. The living room is big and bright and with enough space to sit and relax for everybody. The kids liked to play in the basement with all the games. We loved the environment, Cowal is so beautiful and we did a lot of walks. Lunchtips: Oyster Catcher in Otter Ferry and Botanical at the Barn in Millhouse (with an awesome play garden for the kids).

  • Beautiful and big house for 8 people with a large modern and comfortable living room. It's a nice location next to the sea with wonderful landscapes around.

    Chloé2019-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • Open plan living room and kitchen on top floor is light and bright and a great space to eat or chill and relax with really comfy seating. Bedrooms are plain and the beds are fine. Large main bathroom with nice big bath and shower and useful smaller shower room and toilet. The basement is a handy utilitarian space. Superb location with great views. Set back 50 yards from the quiet coastal road. Amenities are about a mile northwards - Convenience store, hardware shop and hotel and our favourites “The Tea Room” and “Tide & Thyme”. You can also head south out of the village onto a wide track for a great walk / run or cycle about 2.5 miles to a shingle beach. Same route back or you can keep walking south on a narrow and rough path if you wish. Portavadie Pool and Spa are well worth a visit and the basic £12 adult / £5 child tickets provide you with all you would want in my view. The superb weather we got was a really nice bonus and we had a great 4 days staying at Chuckie Brae.

  • The bothy has basic facilities - kettle, tea bags and uht milk, but there is a fridge for other bits and bobs you bring with you. I had to really think about breakfast somewhere nearby, unless you’re a fan of cereal and milk or a cold breakfast of your own making. Otherwise head for a short drive to Botanica at the Barn for food at this time of year. I was kept nice and warm in November and the shower was good - always important for me. The bothy is in the most beautiful setting and right next to the Oystercatcher bar and restaurant where the food is fantastic in the evenings at this time of year. Overall for anyone travelling around Scotland, November-February - always good to check what’s open and what isn’t.

A beautiful detached house in typical west Scottish style with breathtaking views to West and South Kyles, the Isle of Bute and the Isle of Arran. The house has a main sitting room, a dining room, a well-equipped and recently refitted kitchen, a wonderful conservatory offering spectacular views and there are spacious gardens. There are three double bedrooms, one en suite and a twin bedroom. Upstairs, there is a large shower room and another bathroom. There is also a small, downstairs toilet.
The village centre is a comfortable walk and offers a Doctor’s surgery and local amenities that cater for everyday needs. A bus service runs from Tighnabruaich to both Rothesay and Dunoon. The area is famous for its dramatic natural scenic beauty; yachtsmen and women the world over sail through the scenic Kyles from the Clyde marinas and on through the Crinan canal and out to the Hebridean islands. A new marina and restaurant complex at Portavadie which is 4 miles to the west and offers facilities such as a leisure centre with indoor and outdoor infinity pool and beauty treatment rooms recently opened in June 2015. Portavadie also hosts facilities supporting great mountain bike trails in the area. The area offers much in the way of relaxing outdoor pursuits. Tighnabruaich Golf Club is a scenic and challenging 9-hole golf course. There is tennis and inevitably, a famous sailing school. Sea, river and loch fishing are also available in the area, as are a number of commercially run shoots. Some of the local estates allow stalking by arrangement. Tighnabruaich lies on “Argyll’s Secret Coast”, which stretches from Strachur at the top of Loch Fyne round the coast to Colintraive. It is an area of stunning natural beauty where there are countless opportunities to discover peaceful locations. Nearby activities include walks in forests or along the coast, fishing, kayaking or sailing and enjoying the wildlife.

  • Absolutely stunning home with spectacular views. Perfect location for boat trips to the Isle of Bute and/or Tarbert or a drive to Dunoon or Inveraray. A swim in the infinity pool in Portavadie is also a must! This house was made even more special with the very early morning visits in the garden from the deer! Elizanne is a wonderful host, although more access to hand & bath towels would have been appreciated! Other than this there is absolutely nothing I could fault about the house. Plenty of space, great heating, comfy beds, perfect location and a super lovely host. It truly is Argyll’s Secret Coast. An absolute gem of a house/location, we did not want to leave. Thank you Elizanne. Xxx

  • Elizanne has to be one of the most thoughtful and brilliant hosts we have come across. So if you want to enjoy the Scottish hospitality coupled with truly remarkable views and settings not to forget the lovely locals, Elizanne's place must be visited and savoured.
