Truffle hunt in Etrurian coast
We will leave the cars in a public parking lot, in the old country village, and start our walk to reach the top of a hill along ancient Etruscan paths in the Mediterranean forest. My trusted 4-legged companion "Dori or Rosco" will be guiding us, looking for traces of the precious truffle! From the top of the hill we will admire the landscape, the hinterland of the high Maremma, the hills of Livorno / Pisa and the wonderful Etruscan coast, and if the sky is clear, we can also see many islands of the Tuscan island also of the island of Corsica. If the weather is good and warm enough, we can take a bath in a very small lake and rest for a moment. Then we will continue the search for truffles and we will get ready to taste the typical Tuscan products and truffles, admiring the sunset on the west coast. The first part of the route will be steep and demanding, on the return we can opt for a less steep route, also passing through a paved road from which we can see a pig farm in the wild, then returning to the starting parking lot Other things to note Dress appropriately (long pants, high trekking shoes, light windproof jacket), plus I advice to bring: swimsuit, beach towel, hat, walking sticks, sunglasses and sunscreen, water, snacks and camera

Excursion to Gorgona Island
The most exclusive and protected island in the Tuscan archipelago. The island of Gorgona is home to a farm and, of course, the famous prison. It is the last penitary island in Italy located in front of the coast of Livorno, about 36 km away. The whole area is protected and divided into areas of different levels. Except for the docking hallway - managed by the direction of the Reclusion House - access, navigation, parking, anchoring, fishing and diving are prohibited. The coast of Gorgona is characterized by numerous coves, including the beautiful Cala Scirocco, where the Grotta del Bove marina opens, once a refuge of monk seals, Cala Maestra and Cala Martina. On the island are the fortifications of Torre Vieja and Torre Nuova, located along the east coast of the island. Fun fact: around 70 people work in gardens and vineyards, caring for animals and producing wine, cheese, and honey. Even today in the ancient village, which crowns the marina, there are about sixty residents, but only a few permanently. Visits are regulated and contingent with closed numbers, which means you need to book well in advance. The itinerary has a development of about 10 km, with a total elevation of about 300 meters Length: 10 km Difficulty hiking Distance: 400+ Route Type: Ring
