In response to UK Government advice we have liaised with guests to cancel all leisure stays during April 2020 to ensure we limit the spread of coronavirus, protect our community and observe travel restrictions. During April we are happy to host healthcare professionals, or key workers connected to the coronavirus response who still need accommodation away from home during this difficult time. For the period ahead we have turned off 'instant book' so we can liaise with guests prior to booking.

  • Lovely place for two, great breakfast pack left, comfortable and warm. We never used the hot tub but it looked nice and private. Great Communication , would recommend.

    Carol2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • The Coach House was the most beautiful AirBnB we have stayed in. The finishing touches to the property and the extras on arrival really made our trip special! Joy and her lovely daughter popped down to show us the hot tub which was lovely, and the arrival instructions were above and beyond anything we have experienced before. Would 100% recommend staying here to all friends and family, and would love to return ourselves! Thank you so much!

    Rosie2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • The place is amazing. Hot tub works perfectly and you can connect your phone to the build in speakers to make a lovely atmosphere. Everything you need for romantic stay or relaxing time with you friends (hot tab has 4 seats over all). The apartment is great as well: warm, cosy, clean and comfy. Highly recommended.

    Jacek2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • This place is a gem! Lovely little house with everything you’d need. The personal touches are lovely. We loved the hot tub, Thankyou!!

    Tammi2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • The Coach House is a perfect retreat for two people. Tom and Joy are friendly and welcoming. The whole house was very clean and they provided a few extras that we didn’t expect, like milk butter and bread, so we didn’t have to rush off to the shop before making a cup of tea! I would deffo recommend this place if you wanted a romantic few nights away. The hot tub was amazing! We have returned home very relaxed! Thank you both.

    Laura2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect valentines surprise! We had a wonderful stay, we spent two days in due to Storm Dennis, but the Coach House had everything we needed for well needed break. The hot tub is amazing, and the little touches throughout the Airbnb are so thoughtful. The hosts really have thought of everything! I’m usually sceptical when Airbnb’s are reviewed so well, but I’d give this more than 5 stars if I could. We will definitely be returning!

    Andrew2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • We had a really amazing stay at the windmill. It’s such a unique building and really nicely done inside. We really enjoyed sitting out on the staging to watch the sunrise, despite the single figure temperatures. Claire is an excellent host! She was really helpful - lending us some bits to clean up our walking boots after encountering a huge bog on our afternoon walk. Highly recommend a visit and we’d definitely be keen to stay again.

    Suzy2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • A really special, well designed space. We couldn’t be happier that it rained the whole time as it meant we got to spend the whole stay in the windmill! Thanks

    Steve2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • What an amazing Windmill and what an amazing location! Clare was also so kind - and even gave us some fresh rhubarb from her garden. She was incredibly helpful and gave us lots of tips for the area. Would recommend this place 150 percent!

    George2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • The most perfect place for a relaxing break away! So unique & quaint, with the most heavenly bedding! Clare is a great host.... we can’t wait to come and visit again! X

    Georgina2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • One of the most extraordinary spaces we've stayed in. Peaceful, and immaculately kept. It's every bit as good as it looks in the listing. Clare's insights on the area were invaluable too - and she couldn't have been more accommodating (eg for a dietary requirement). Thank you so much again.

    Justin2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • The mill was absolutely amazing, and Clare and her husband were lovely. Would highly recommend.

    Holly2020-02-24T00:00:00Z

  • Loved this space. Stayed for a few weeks — perfect location for transport. As a foreigner, was a little unsure about the area, but proved to be absolutely charming and never wanted to leave. Beautiful apt, felt right at home! Hugh was responsive and helpful throughout the stay.

    Emily2019-12-05T00:00:00Z
  • Hugh and his team are clearly why airbnb has superhosts. His responses were super fast, and we were able to book the airbnb in the morning of our stay. He also let us check-in early, which was an absolute life saver. The apartment itself is well sized, and quite close to the Angel tube/station. It has all the comforts you'd want in an airbnb/apartment, including washer/dryer/clothes line, sound system, plenty of living room space.

There are also a wide range of traditional pubs, shops and restaurants, making Bourton perfect for guests of all ages. The village is surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside, and the many picturesque market towns and villages of the Cotswolds are all within easy reach, as are further afield places, such as Stratford-upon-Avon, Oxford and Bath. Bourton-on-the-Water is arguably one of the most popular villages of the Cotswolds, especially amongst overseas visitors. Having been nicknamed the "Venice of the Cotswolds", its scenery is the main draw for travellers. The River Windrush meanders through beautiful English countryside before passing over rapids next to the Old Mill and arriving at Bourton. The river is fed from many springs, with the source approximately ten miles from the village and, after flowing under the bridges of Bourton, it passes other villages before eventually joining the Thames. There are various attractions in the village, including the famous Birdland, which is home to a variety of birds from around the world. Here visitors can see parrots, pelicans, flamingos and penguins to name just a few, with experienced keepers feeding the birds and leading demonstrations. The Model Village is well worth a visit, as Bourton is the only village in the Cotswolds to have a one-ninth scale replica of itself. It is carefully maintained and has all of the characterful buildings including the Old Water Mill and the Old New Inn. Those lucky enough to witness snow in the winter months will notice photographers at the model village trying to get the perfect picture of the snowy scene. Another family favourite is the Dragonfly Maze. This yew maze leads visitors through the labyrinth, gathering clues in order to find the pavilion in the centre which enables them to unlock the final secret! The maze was constructed by Kit Williams, author of the golden hare treasure hunt book, "Masquerade". Food & Drink Bourton has a variety of places to eat and drink, including cafes, tea rooms, pubs and restaurants, with a range of prices to suit all budgets. The list below is a small sample of the options available: The Chester House Hotel and The Croft Restaurant (www.chesterhousehotel.com): Breakfast, morning coffee, lunches and evening meals in a riverside restaurant. You can enjoy freshly prepared, local produce throughout the day and night, with seasonal specials added to the menu daily. The Duke of Wellington (www.dukeofwellingtonbourton.co.uk): A local village inn aiming to provide fresh home cooked food with a friendly service. There is a light snacking menu, a full menu and a wonderful range of desserts and hot beverages. As well as daily home cooked specials, on Sundays you can enjoy a traditional carvery with all the trimmings from 12-6pm. The Mousetrap Inn (www.mousetrap-inn.com): A traditionally run Cotswold stone Inn, with a history dating back to the building of the railways in the 18th Century. Serving home-made food, along with fantastic, locally brewed real ales. The Village Restaurant & Tearooms (www.thevillagerestaurant.co.uk): Traditional, home cooked food in a friendly atmosphere, overlooking the river Windrush, in the heart of Bourton-on-the-Water.
  • Beautiful cottage in a beautiful town. Perfect for walking in to Bourton or for using as a base to travel from. Thank you very much!

    Oliver2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic cottage just off the high street in the middle of Bourton-on-the-Water. The cottage is very charming but should warn about the steep stairs! The bedrooms were cosy and the location can’t be matched. We had no problems checking in our out and communications with the host were very clear. Would definitely recommend if you don’t have mobility issues or giant suitcases.

  • Chapel cottage is in a wonderful location. Stylish, decor throughout, all the amenities you could need and the beds have the most comfortable mattresses and soft linen.Cosy, comfortable. In the heart of the village if you want to explore, but once inside it feels so secluded. A really wonderful cottage.

  • Nick and Carol were so helpful and quick to respond if we had any questions during our stay. The cottage was so great, just as pretty as the pictures, and the cake on arrival was such a sweet touch. The notes that were sent beforehand were so helpful as well. Would definitely highly recommend. Bourton-on-the-Water was just slightly more touristy than we were hoping for.

  • This is a fantastic cottage in an idyllic setting, literally 2 minutes from the high street- This is a warm and cosy place and thoughtful touches make a stay here extra special.

The highest village in Cornwall is Minions which is a mere 4 miles from Lestitha Farm on the south east corner of Bodmin Moor, and has a wealth of ancient archeological sites dating from the early bronze age onwards and they are really popular with walkers and hikers, these include the Hurlers, three stone circles dated at around 1500 BC, a line through the centre of them brings you to Rillaton Barrow a large burial mound. Alternatively on the top of Stowes Hill, overlooking Minions, you can see the Cheesering, a natural formation of balancing stones formed during the last ice age and by thousands of years of erosion, the name derives from the shape of the stones and will become patently obvious on viewing! The ancient stannary town of Liskeard is at the head of the Looe Valley and is approximately 12 miles east of Bodmin. Liskeard is one of the few remaining towns in Cornwall to still have a livestock market. It serves a number of small surrounding villages and is the gateway to Bodmin Moor. Liskeard is also the starting point of the Liskeard to Looe railway, one of the most scenic railway trips in the country and a delightful day out! Bodmin Moor, bisected by the newly expanded A 30 is home to one of Cornwall's Areas of Oustanding Natural Beauty. Reaching a height of 1,377 feet above sea level at Brown Willy, Cornwall's highest point. The heather covered granite moorland provides East Cornwall with the most stunning country views and rugged walks. Near Blisland you will find two of Cornwall's stone circles, the Trippet Stones and Stripple Stone Henge and just round the corner, one end of the famous Camel Trail. The 18 mile Camel Trail follows the route of the old railway along traffic free paths, providing a fairly flat cycle through Bodmin and Wadebridge out to Padstow, eminently suitable for families. The National Lobster Hatchery at Padstow neighbours Rick Steins empire on the North Coast. The Bodmin and Wenford Railway, the first steam operated railway in Cornwall, takes in 13 miles of countryside. Also just outside Bodmin is the Camel Valley Vineyard who have been winning awards for their home grown wine for the past 20 years. The National Trust have a number of properties nearby - Lanhydrock House, Trerice, Cotehele and Antony (used for Disney's Alice in Wonderland), Carnewas and Bedruthan Steps. Slightly further afield is the Eden Project in St Austell. Bodmin Jail built in 1778, notorious for its public executions by hanging, was the first jail to be built housing inmates in individual cells. The Jail closed in 1927 and is now a museum open to the public, which during the First World War housed the Crown Jewels and the Doomsday Book. To the east is the Tamar Valley, a stunning, quiet, picturesque region with some beautiful villages including Calstock with its impressive Viaduct dominating the village, Calstock Quay was originally used for transportation of tin as there is a deep water navigable channel at the top of the tides, although the construction of the Tamar Valley Railway in the early 20th century led to most cargo being transported by rail. Further up stream is Morwellham Quay with its fantastic open air museum, Morwellham Quay has been awarded World Heritage Site status by UNESCO, the cultural arm of the UN, and is part of the Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape. Originally set up by the Benedictine Monks from Tavistock Abbey in 961 as a trading route to Plymouth via the Tamar. Tavistock is an ancient stannary and market town on the edge of Dartmoor and just across the border in Devon, it has a wealth of fine pubs, restaurants, supermarkets and tourist attractions.

  • My husband and I along with our spaniel Henry spent 4 nights in this cosy barn. Unfortunately the weather was quite bad and we were unable to use the Hot Tub but we made good use of the wood burner in the evening. Highly recommended! The views were amazing and was a great central location for travelling around Cornwall.

    Kate2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lovely space in a lovely location! The hot tub has a fantastic view and for days when it was wet and cold the fire was perfect. The scones on arrival and tips about the local area were great fully accepted. Everything was clean and tidy and there was everything needed for us to cook as well. Can't fault this place!

  • Fantastic weekend away in Cornwall. The Shippon was spotless when we arrived and Rita was very welcoming offering the traditional cream tea. The hot tub was a fantastic addition to the house and we spent nights relaxing under the stars. Would highly recommend The Shippon for a stay away!

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Shippon and the location was fantastic just what we were looking for. The hot tub was amazing and used most evenings even though the weather wasn’t the best. The one clear night was amazing with all the stars out. Would definitely recommend and would absolutely go back again.

1 bed self contained cottage set in rural mid Wales. Large hot tub available to use at an additional cost of £20 per day for your own use..... please let us know prior to arrival if you would like the tub, as we have to balance chemicals and get it up to temperature ready for you. Full kitchen with everything you could possibly need... pots, pans, steamer, slow cooker etc,sky TV, log burner and central heating. We have beautiful views, some lovely walks and a haven of wildlife on our doorstep.
Hot tub can be booked for your sole use (£20 per night).... payable on arrival please. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate guests in the hot tub that have any kind of fake tan applied, it turns the water orange!!!!! Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause but we need to keep our facilities clean for other guests. Please be aware that we are in a valley and internet can be hit and miss, if you are looking to be on line for a lot of the time.... this may not the place for you. Mobile signal is really a no go, we are happy for you to use our land line to make any calls. As we are in the country, as hard as we try, you may spot the odd cobweb in the beams and a little dust.... all part of the character and country experience:-)
Very quiet area. No bus service. Lovely views.
  • Myself and partner thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hosts were so welcoming and nothing was ever too much trouble. The house itself was so clean and warm. When we arrived the hot tub was warm, the heating was on, candles lit and it felt so homely! We had so much information about the local area and the amenities were fantastic. We will definitely be booking again soon! Thank you so much both! Xx

  • Stayed at this beautiful lodge for a weekend to celebrate my partners birthday. Absolutely perfect if wanting to take a step back from day to day life and enjoy a countryside break. The hosts were so helpful from the get go and happy to answer any questions. We were greeted on arrival and Hadyn brought the humour, had us laughing and feeling right at ease from the start. Showed us around and reassured us that we could approach them at any point during our stay. The lodge was warm and they had a candle lit when we arrived so it instantly just felt so cosy. The hot tub was just as described and had been pre heated for when we got there. Everything you need is provided so we didn’t find ourselves worrying at any point. Huge thank you to Jude and Hadyn, would highly recommend!x

  • What a beautiful little escape from the real world! Cosy, quaint and well equipped for a cosy weekend in or the perfect base to see some of the beautiful Snowdonia National Park and other surrounding areas. Couldn't recommend the Waggon and Horses in Newtown enough for a delicious dinner and had the most relaxing evening in the hot tub with a bottle of wine and to completely detach from emails/work/etc. Thank you Jude and Hadyn xx

A rare opportunity to stay in a huge first floor period apartment in one of England's most beautiful cities. Beautifully restored by us and with easy access to the city centre and countryside beyond. Free on-street parking and a space saved for you on request.
    Ready
CORONAVIRUS UPDATE: We are open and able to offer the perfect place for social distancing, working from home or just different 4 walls. Rates are reduced and any cancellations are offered free to NHS front line staff. As we offer an entirely private apartment we are still able to offer a beautiful but rather different experience. Whether your holiday was cancelled or you wish to self isolate or work from another location or just sick of the same four walls. We can offer a car to apartment welcome and will greet you personally with a smile not a hand shake. Myself and Daniel clean and maintain the apartment personally to the highest standards and we use antibacterial treatments on all surface, particularly regularly touched areas. We are also laundering linen and towels at a high temperature of 90c. Hand wash is provided as always The apartment has Netflix/Tv and fast broadband suitable working from home or just play. The kitchen has all you need and a supermarket is literally 5 mins walk away. If you decide to venture out on foot, beautiful and quiet countryside and canal walks are just 5 mins away As we speak Bath and attractions and most restaurants and pubs remain open and should be lovely and quiet for once. This may change but the delivery services in Bath will happily bring the best local restaurant to your door. (We have an intercom so can be left at the door)
  • The flat is gorgeous. It’s bright & airy and well equipped. It’s only a short walk from nice restaurants and is well located for exploring the sights of Bath. Daniel was very friendly & helpful & met us on arrival and showed us around. Thank you Daniel! We will be back!

  • Daniel and Anna's place is a perfect place for a base to explore Bath. Daniel met us upon check-in and showed us round the beautiful stylish house. Breakfast Infront of those massive windows was a great start to each day. Would stay again :)

  • If you're lucky enough to find it available, book it! Communication was perfect, Daniel is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The flat is simply perfect and spotless. Shower is great, bed is comfortable, living room incredible. We had parking and they even let us park after our booking was over. We were late to free up the parking space but Daniel being a great dude was understanding. The flat is close to everything (15 min walk to center) and there are great pubs around. The view is amazing. Possibly the best Airbnb experience we had so far and we've been using it for 4 years. Book it now!

  • Daniel and Anna's apartment is a stunning space! It's in a great location well tucked away from the crowdedness of the town centre, situated in a lovely local neighbourhood with easy access to shops, bars, restaurants and also the more secluded areas. We enjoyed walking everywhere from here and waking up to the spectacular view over the fields everyday. The apartment has wonderful period features, natural light throughout and is spacious, beautifully furnished and very comfortable. It has all the amenities you could need and is decorated with many thoughtful touches. The hospitality was exceptional - we felt so welcomed and enjoyed having great chats with Daniel. All the local tips made our stay even more memorable! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique and special getaway to Bath.

    Faaria2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was just as lovely as the pictures suggested and Daniel and Anna provided much appreciated additional details including reserving a parking spot, and that amazing bread - thanks!! It's a brilliant starting point to explore all Bath has to offer and we thoroughly enjoyed the walk to the city centre each morning and afternoon, getting to know the area. It's a beautiful city, even in the stormy rain(!), and we are really looking forward to staying here again in the future and perhaps walking into the countryside as Daniel suggested. We would heartily recommend staying here!

    Sophie2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful apartment set in an ideal location. Daniel and Anna were great hosts with lots of local knowledge. Would definitely return to Bath and stay here again.

  • Wonderful stay, definitely easier to get around with a car but fairly easy if you rely on public transport too! The outdoor shower is such a great addition to the cabin, it’s also been so great to wake up to the sight of the woods every single day - I’ll definitely be back in summer!

Located in one of Maidstone in Kent's oldest roads, neighbouring buildings used to provide accommodation to pilgrims on their travels to Canterbury in medieval times. Perfect for anyone looking to get away from it all and for those looking for something different, the quirky interior of the Lodge is an eclectic mix of vintage and modern. It offers a romantic hideaway, with exclusive use of the brand new hot tub jacuzzi directly outside your door, and a low height mezzanine sleeping area on a futon mattress, in the double height roof where you can star watch in bed, listening to the local owls. The fully equipped, open plan kitchen/lounge area is cosy in the winter with underfloor heating, and equally delightful in the summer when the bi-fold doors can be opened up to enjoy BBQ's on the deck. With Wifi access, Bose mini sound system, Nespresso coffee pod machine and a flat screen TV, you can also keep in touch with the outside world if you really want to. The Lodge is perfectly located for those who want a car free holiday in the corner of our 1.5 acre garden, about 60m from the main house. Please note that while the Lodge is completely private the hot tub area is not, as you are in the garden shared with our house. A short walk will take you to the ancient village green of Bearsted with its Butcher / Deli / Bakery and a choice of excellent restaurants. For those wishing to take the train, the village station provides services to the coast or to London, to give you transport choices. 5 minutes by car will get you to the award winning Leeds castle, while a 40-60 minutes drive will take you to the many beautiful historic towns of Kent including Tenterden, Canterbury and Tunbridge Wells, as well as the beautiful Kent coast line and the EuroTunnel. Perfectly located for weddings and celebrations at the award winning Orangery in Maidstone, why not make a holiday out of your stay? Subject to availability The Lodge can be booked in conjunction with it's sister property 'Knocklofty', a one minutes walk away and can accommodate up to 4 people.
Embrace country life in the medieval village of Bearsted in Kent—the Garden of England. Walk to the village green for great gastro pubs, a butcher, and a deli. For a proper hike, there's beautiful countryside with miles of scenic walks.

Beautiful Woodland hobbit/fairy/witch house Nestled away in our woodland is our new roundhouse. Built from natural materials, nearly all from the woodland around it and super insulated with gas hob, wood burner and running water. Come hideaway, hibernate, nestle and nuzzle.. tend fires, read, swim in our lake, pick salad and eggs from the farm... This cabin offers the perfect place to step into a different pace, to be at one with nature, to slow down and think about what matters in the world.
The roundhouse is part of our permaculture farm and campsite and is nestled away in 40 acres woodland. It has a compost toilet nearby and there is a hot shower and regular toilet available at the farm. For sleeping it has a double bed, a double sofa bed and big single bed. We will provide all bedding (but not towels). For cooking it has a double ring gas burner (and BBQ/Firepit outside), running water and a sink as well as most of the pots/pans/plates/mugs etc you could need. Its also got 12v lighting and a socket to plug in your phone (but its is truly off-grid and has no mains electricity). It is worth saying that the Roundhouse is in the woods and is about 300m from your car through the field and woods. We do allow dogs, we don't really encourage them but we do recognise that they are often part of your family. Any dogs brought with you must be well controlled at all times, cleaned up after and we also ask that you leave a £10 donation for the cleaner.
We are in a beautiful corner of the world, we are only 10 miles from M'nt Snowdon and only a mile to the beach, on the corner of the stunning Llynn Peninsula.
  • Exactly as described and even more beautiful than the pictures show! Such an incredible experience and a proper escape from the modern world.

Rewind. Recharge. Unplug. Picturesque lakeside lodges nestled in the Welsh countryside. Wake up to panoramic views overlooking the lake, enjoy some breakfast on the decking watching the feeding fish or letting the world go by before setting about your day, its the perfect spot for fishing, walking, cycling, sightseeing or shopping! After after a hectic day retire to the hot tub for some R & R and watch the sun go down! Only 15 mins from City Centre, Cardiff Bay
Great for couples looking to relax and explore, great walks, pubs, cycle paths and local attractions
We are based in the welsh countryside surrounded by arable farmland, there are stunning walks, rides and we're just 10-15mins from cardiff citty centre. Within walking distance is the Cefn Mably Arms a lovely country pub and the Maenllwyd Inn a cracking gastro pub
  • The lodge on the lake is ideal for a couples getaway. We had enough space to store our luggage, and the pull out bed was easy to use and a great use of space. The hot tub is fantastic and we spent most of the weekend bubbling away. Even when it was colder at night outside it was still worth the short dash to the hot tub! The wifi was excellent and meant we could use netflix with ease. There is a handbook which tells you how to use everything and includes some local activities. We would happily stay here again!

  • Owen's place was great - the hot tub was a particular highlight, even in the windy weather of Storm Ciara!

  • Quiet little hut with hot tub by a small lake with beautiful view - perfect for relaxation! Recommended!

    Max2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • My partner and I had such a lovely long weekend here! Needed a relaxing break to escape the real world for a little bit and this was the perfect place. Hot tub was great and the cooking facilities were perfect, cooked some steak which we brought from the farm shop which is 2 minutes up the road! No oven but not an issue to us! Remote area which is ideal! We have no complaints whatsoever. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.

    Becky2019-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin on the lake is wonderful setting, off the beaten track but not feeling remote. Excellent wi-fi, hot tub was amazing and my only negative was that there is no oven!

    Samantha2019-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • Lodge on the lake was very peaceful just what you need for a relaxing getaway. The cabin was very clean and to our expectations. It had all the cooking facilities you need to cook with. There is a small cooker/hob and a microwave. The shop is a little pricey so do a small shop before hand. Would definatley recommend staying here and I'm sure well be back.

    Toni2019-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • Whatever you think to expect from this pod, it will impress you - great facilities, great location, and you'll have a great long weekend, whether you just want to stay cosy to read/write/indulge in beautiful quiet surroundings, or pootle into Caerphilly or Cardiff to explore the castles and other delights of this area of Wales. Genuinely couldn't have had a better weekend and would heartily recommend this place to anyone.

    Lee2019-06-10T00:00:00Z
  • This is a ‘has to be seen to be believed’ holiday, cleaner than you’d expect, the hot tub was bubbling away invitingly on arrival and the scenery is breathtaking, without a doubt one of the most relaxing weekends we have had. Highly recommended

Get cosy in this stylish and central apartment, with its overlarge sofa, modern decor, and wooden floors throughout. Windows overlook trendy Bermondsey Street, and the kitchen is well-stocked with updated appliances.
This is Zone 1 London and situated on trendy Bermondsey St, SE1, which is packed with restaurants, bars, life and the latest Zone 1 hub of London! Originally a local authority apartment but this large block of flats is now 75% privately owned with beautifully maintained gardens. It’s light and airy, very safe with entry from the outdoor covered balcony, recently updated with fresh coat of paint. Located on the South bank with easy access (walking or by tube or bus) to Gastro pubs, restaurants and all the main attractions London offers. You’ll love my place because of the neighbourhood, and the comfy bed. It's great for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).
The apartment is located in Zone 1, between the South Bank and Shad Thames, near brilliant restaurants and bars on the River Thames. It's within walking distance of Tower Bridge and the Tate Modern, and many London attractions are within easy reach.
  • The place is beautiful and clean. Very close to the underground. Jennifer helped me very quickly in everything I needed.

    Igor2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • A clean and cosy place well situated in walking distance of London Bridge and all the restaurants of Bermondsey. Jennifer was very attentive and communicative making the entire check in and checkout process very easy. I would definitely stay again.

    Michael2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Jen is a an awesome host with a truly lovely home, clean, well thought out and so comfortable to be in. The location is amazing, close to transport links, restaurants and bars. I spent two weeks here and it felt just like home. I would recommend anyone to stay here Jen can't do enough for her guests. Would 100% return next time I am in London.

    Laura2020-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the apartment! Jennifer met us at the apartment on time, gave us a rundown of the house, and was very nice to introduce us the must-sees of London. She would also reply to our enquiries throughout our stay very quickly. The apartment was fully equipped and everything was working perfectly. Her house manuals was very helpful and thoughtful, especially for us who were visiting for the first time. We would definitely return if given the chance!

    Angeline Lee2019-05-25T00:00:00Z
  • Jennifer is a wonderful host and was most responsive before and throughout our stay. She had put fresh flowers in all the windows, which was a lovely touch. The location is great (lots of pubs and restaurants around, a terrific little grocer right across the street and a Tesco and an M&S about 10 minute away. London Bridge Station is close by as well (10-12 minutes walking) and Borough Market only slightly further. All very, very convenient. I was a bit surprised upon arriving to see that the apartment is located in a former estate council. Even though the windows face Bermondsey St the entrance is through a courtyard and you need to climb to the second floor (which would be the third in the US) to access it. There is another flight of stairs inside the flat to access the bedroom and bathroom. That would be a drawback for people with limited mobility. We had no problem with it. Once you are there, everything is super comfortable. The kitchen is bright and cheerful, the LR features a very large L-shaped couch, a coffee-table, roomy shelves and a small dining table for two. Upstairs, the bathroom is squeaky clean and the bedroom (I saved the best part for last) features a wonderful bed with an excellent and large mattress and the coziest duvet and pillows you can wish for. The best bed and bedding we have ever had in an airbnb! I definitely recommend the apartment.

    Marie2019-05-08T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Jen’s was phenomenal! Jen is possibly the sweetest person we met on our entire trip! She ran to the apartment to make sure we had the prettiest plants for our stay. It was such a cute touch. Jen provided us with plenty of information for check in. We were able to do a self check in and met with Jen later on. Although she provided very thorough information about the apartment and the neighborhood (she has a super cute map that doubles as artwork in the Airbnb that is very helpful), Jen still stopped by the apartment to make sure we didn’t have any questions and to make sure we had everything we needed. I had questions about dropping off luggage before check in because our flight to London arrived very early. Jen was incredibly helpful and very accommodating with this. Jen’s place is walking distance to London Bridge Tube stop where one can take the train to and from Gatwick Airport. This was helpful for us! The location of the airbnb is walking distance to many major sites/places to eat (Tower Bridge, Borough Market, etc.) but there is also a nearby tube stop that connects you easily to other sites (Westminster, London Eye, etc.). Upstairs there was 1 clean and spacious bedroom (easily sleep two people) and a very cute bathroom. Downstairs there is a pretty large, bright kitchen and a spacious living room that has this amazingly large couch (which pulls out) that could easily sleep three people. Although we didn’t get to use the kitchen because we ate outside for most of our meals, the kitchen seemed to be equipped with everything we would need to cook (we were so happy to find soy sauce in the kitchen for our late night Chinese food haha). There is a thermostat to control the heat in the apartment which was really nice. The neighborhood is a huge plus as we felt the tourist attractions were close but there was a local vibe to it as well (supermarkets. etc.). I HIGHLY recommend staying here and would DEFINITELY stay here again! Don’t regret missing out on this place! :)

    Daribel2019-04-30T00:00:00Z
  • Great location near the tube, restaurants and the Thames.

    Varo2019-04-26T00:00:00Z
  • Jen’s flat was in the PERFECT location for us. Walking distance to Borough Market, Tower Bridge, Tate Modern, Shakespeare’s Globe, London Bridge station. It’s the perfect street too: lots of amazing options for food and drinks, lively, but quiets down around 10pm or so on the weekends. Be mindful that the flat is on the 2nd floor (in America, we would call it the 3rd floor), and is it’s a split level. Kitchen and living room when you walk in, bedroom and bathroom up another flight of stairs. If you have mobility issues this might cause some problems as you will need to use the stairs multiple times a day and there’s no lift. There is a ton of natural light and fresh flowers in every room. Decent storage for your clothing, but not much counter space in the bathroom (dressing table in the bedroom though, and a medicine cabinet above the sink). She has an iron, fans in each room, multiple mirrors, a blow dryer, lots of lamps, a power strip, and USB adapters for the outlets. Pans and dishes in the kitchen and detergent for the dishwasher as well as the washing machine. Grocery options are close but make sure to bring your own bags or invest in a few to carry around with you. If you’re not from the UK you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the smaller grocery store options (like the M&S inside London Bridge station). Our favorite restaurants near the flat were Casse-Croûte, Chapter 72 coffee, Comptoir Gourmand, The Breakfast Club, and Tapas Brindisa. Would have loved to eat at more places (and visited Borough Market again!) but we were crazy busy being tourists. We highly recommend this flat and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This cosy luxurious self contained oak frame cabin offers the perfect peaceful setting for a relaxing getaway. Listen out and you may hear the owls at night. Backing onto the National Trust Ashridge Forest, this is perfect for outdoor lovers but equally suitable for a romantic night in. 1.5 miles down the road, the popular market town of Berkhamsted is offering atmospheric pubs and bars for a special treat out. The cabin offers comfortable, spacious living with King size bed.
Although the cabin is within the grounds of the main property, it is completely separated off by thick hedge rows to offer complete privacy to our guests. A path alongside the house leads the guests to their own entrance of the cabin. This cabin features all you need for a comfortable stay- a small bathroom with shower facility, a spacious open plan living room, an open plan kitchen with a hob and convection microwave oven grill and a comfortable King Size bed on the Mezzanine level, accessed by a ladder. It is furnished with cosy lighting, two comfortable sofas and a dining table. The cabin features a TV as well as a large DVD selection and Hi-Fi system. Kitchen: We also provide utensils so that our guests can choose to stay in and prepare their own meal if they wish. The back gate allows you to walk straight into the woods to explore 5000 acres of deer filled forest and its other wildlife. A 20 minute walk away you may wish to refresh yourself in the upmarket and cosy pub, the Alford Arms, in the idyllic Frithsden Valley where they even have their own vineyard. The cabin is only 1.5 miles away from the popular and trendy town centre of Berkhamsted, featuring a range of lively pubs and restaurants.
Our cosy little wood cabin is backing straight onto the woods, located in a quiet setting of the sleepy village Potten End, just minutes away from popular old market town Berkhamsted. You can literally walk out of the back gate into the woods and explore the nature. Here are a few tips and activities in the area: Ashridge Estate - a 5,000 acre area of the Chiltern Hills with beech and oak woodlands, commons and chalk downlands. These very different landscapes each support a rich variety of wildlife, including carpets of bluebells in spring, rare butterflies in summer and the fallow deer that rut in autumn. You can walk out of the back gate of the property into the woods and explore Miles of footpaths and bridleways. Frithsden Vineyard – Literally a 30 minute walk through the woods, and you will get to this beautiful boutique English vineyard and winery set in the foothills of the Chilterns. Besides a range of regular seasonal events you can also pass by and enjoy some of their home produced wines. Berkhamsted Town centre and Castle – have a stroll through Berkhamsted highstreet and explore Berkhamsted Castle's remains. The town has a special place in our history: following the Saxon defeat at the Battle of Hastings, it was at Berkhamsted that the bishops and noblemen formally offered William the Conqueror the crown. The Rex – "possibly Britain's most beautiful cinema" (BBC), the Rex has one huge screen set in a glorious 1938 art-deco proscenium arch, with "the sharpest film projection and clearest non-booming sound anywhere in the world". The whole experience is delightfully civilized: sink into large, comfortable seats then sit back with cheese and wine to enjoy the film. Berkhamsted Waterways Walk – Go for a walk along the River Bulbourne andGrand Union Canal which run through the town and enjoy a cold drink in the popular Boat pub. Tring Natural History Museum – 5 miles from Berkhamsted. The wonderful galleries of this beautiful Victorian museum present a fascinating range of animals, from tiny dressed fleas to a smiling polar bear and domestic dogs. The Snow Centre – 5 miles from Berkhamsted. Britain's newest snow centre at Hemel Hempstead is currently the coolest place to go to enjoy skiing, snowboarding and other snow sports on indoor slopes of real snow. The main slope is 160m long and 30m wide, serviced by two POMA button lifts. The trainer slope is 100m long, with two rope tows. There are lessons for everyone new to snow, and clothing and equipment is on hand to hire. Whipsnade Zoo – 9 miles from Berkhamsted. Set on the slopes of the Chiltern Hills, the UK's biggest zoo is home to more than 2,500 animals, many of which are endangered in the wild. Whipsnade is noted for creating interactive and inspiring exhibits and popular daily events including keeper talks, animal feeds and demonstrations. You can drive through the 'Passage through Asia' or take the free Safari bus which stops at all the main exhibits in the 600 acre site. Harry Potter, Warner Bros. Studio Tour – the Making of Harry Potter – 9.7 miles from Berkhamsted. A visit to the Harry Potter World offers you an insight behind the scenes to showcase a huge array of beautiful sets, costumes and props and to reveal the secrets of the special effects and animatronics that made these films hugely popular all over the world.

  • The cabin is a unique and secluded find; perfect for couples after a cosy getaway. The cabin’s amenities are well thought out and the whole place was spotless. Checking in and out was super simple. The surrounding area has plenty to offer and guests who are new to the area are provided with plenty of useful info. We loved our stay here.

    Eleanor2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • We will definitely be returning, and hopefully when the weather is better - the only thing that could have topped our stay is if the sun was shining!

  • Lilli’s oak cabin is beautiful. Privately situated next to a pretty woodland, it is warm, cosy peaceful and has a special quality of being both rustic and elegant. It has everything you’d need to feel at home, as well as some lovely additonal touches. The surrounding countryside, quaint old towns and villages are stunning. Perfect for a romantic getaway.

  • I booked this for me and my boyfriend for his birthday. It was amazing, the farm animals..hot tub..jacuzzi bath...quiet farm area...small cabin just for two...nearby beach and local pub...all were brilliant. We went to The Bank in Bude for tapas, rosies for lunch and prestons for lunch. Highly recommend all places. We visited summerleaze beach, the nearby beach (a 25-30 minute walk from the cabin) and did cliff walks which again I would highly recommend. Debbie and her partner were very helpful. We didn't need to contact them but they both visited us (when we checked in and before check out) so any questions we thought of we just asked them then, but they leave their number and were easy to contact. We are already planning on returning when the sun comes to visit as my boyfriend loves to surf but due to the weather he wasn't able to do this AND the cabin has a BBQ which next time we would love to have. Thank you & if you are a couple and are debating booking court farm cabin … you won't be disappointed :)

    Megan2020-01-14T00:00:00Z
  • I absolutely loved it! The location was perfect, it was so peaceful and definitely worth the money, already looking to go back in the summer.

  • A really cosy cabin with everything we needed for a few days away before the Christmas madness! We didn’t use the hot tub due to the weather.. but the jacuzzi bath was amazing! The local pub Preston Gate is really friendly and does an amazing roast! Andrew and Debbie are really friendly and helpful and full of good recommendations for places to go. We’d love to return with the whole family and stay in the farmhouse.. will hopefully be in touch! Xx

  • This is a stunning flat, amazing location and Hugh is a great host. All our needs were pre-empted and we had everything we could ask want. Just a couple of things to be aware of - it's up 2 flights of stairs so it's not ideal if you have mobility issues and there is only one bathroom so if you're going with a large group, that might be something to take into consideration. Otherwise, a great stay in a fantastic flat.

    Priyanka2019-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • Hugh was extremely accommodating and a great host. The space is absolutely beautiful, I don’t even think you can appreciate it until you explore in person. Great for the group of 10 of us that came and had plenty of space.

The heated tree cabin is set within a small secluded wood up a steep path. Cedar lined, insulated and oak clad it cantilevers out over a remote mill pond. Wake up in a tranquil heaven only shared with shy wildlife, including deer, hare, the odd badger and a variety of birds. In the cabin are a king-size sofa bed, table and chairs, kitchen area with kettle, microwave oven and chiller. Your own smaller tree cabin, a few trees away, houses a flushing toilet and hand basin with spring water.
Whilst in bed gently falling asleep watch the moon rise over the mill pond through the tree branches and then watch the sun rise the following morning! A romantic getaway for the adventurous couple. Tucked away in a small woodland at the edge of a mill pond you will feel totally secluded as the cabin is difficult to spot from the surrounding areas but the reality is that you are close to a no through road, a village store and the delights of Hebden Bridge. Supplied with electricity and hot and cold spring water you are still part of the 21st Century but at the same time remote from it all. (In fact, so remote, that there is barely any mobile signal or wifi). There is a quality king size sofa bed, chairs for relaxing and dining and a kitchen area with basic cooking equipment and electric heating. Most 'camping style' cooking and eating essentials are provided including a microwave oven and a chiller cabinet. There is also a small portable induction hob and frying pan. A full breakfast is not included, but inside the cabin you will find cereals, fruit juice, milk, fruit yoghurt and of course tea, coffee and sugar. A few trees away there is your own, smaller tree house with a flushing toilet and hand basin fed with pure spring water. Hot running water, face flannels and towels are provided. There is an external hot and cold alfresco shower or for the hardy (or foolhardy!) take a dip in the mountain stream. If the weather is inclement we can usually arrange a time for you to use the shower in the main house.
We are surrounded by public footpaths, bridleways for biking and plenty of fresh air. There is a farm shop under a mile away that stocks everything and is open 12 hours a day. The nearest bus stop with a regular half hourly service to Hebden Bridge is a mile away. We are on a no-through, single track, tarmac road.
  • It's hard to find the words to explain how amazing this place is. Tranquil, beautiful and a little bit of heaven tucked into a gorgeous bit of Yorkshire. It was lovely and cosy and very comfortable. Tony was an amazing host, I didn't get chance to meet Barbara but I will be back so hopefully will get the pleasure next time. The outdoor shower was just amazing. The weather was fairly mild but it was an exhilarating experience none the less. I can't wait to visit again.

    Lynsey2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • The pictures and descriptions have literally made me feel excited ever since booking this trip and whilst they were incredibly accurate, nothing prepared me for the overwhelming beauty of the space, as we arrived. Tony was incredibly welcoming and supportive and explained everything to us with so much patience, although we had arrived quite late. The view from the bed in the mornings was probably my highlight, and I don't believe I could put into words how very calming, nourishing and relaxing the little cabin was. On the last day, we braved the elements and tried the alfresco shower and it was such a surreal experience. Despite the cold temperature outside, the water was hot enough to not even notice the cold, and the views were simply breathtaking. Both the main cabin and the smaller "bathroom" were decorated with so much love for details and provided us with everything we could have possibly dreamt of. We had no reception whatsoever, which was great to just be in the moment and take everything in. We went to Hebden Bridge twice for food and coffees and had lovely vegan food and stacked up on some snacks and water. The fairy lights outside the door, as well as the smaller lamps inside the cabin always invited us to stay in, read a lot of books or play chess. Overall this was one of the most beautiful holidays I have ever been on and we are more than excited to hopefully come back next year again.

  • Stunning place even in the rain. Beautiful surroundings truly at one with nature. On arrival Tony & Barbara shared information about the local area and walls. Then to the cabin which was very spacious and tranquil. 100% recommend this place. Would like to book again when I can find a date it’s free, that’s just how amazing this place is. Thank you so much!

    Amy2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay in the cabin and really enjoyed our time there! Feels very secluded despite being close enough to the house in case we needed anything; the perfect balance! Tony and Barbara provided some very handy tips for walks around the area, as well as delicious flapjacks and great selection of hot drinks and breakfast options. Really accommodating of dairy free too, which was much appreciated! Good location, with Hebden Bridge only a short drive or bus journey away. Such wonderful accommodation. Will definitely be looking to stay again next year!

    Harriet2019-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing stay at Barbara and Tony's, really friendly hosts and beautiful location with lots to do nearby. The cabin itself was really unique and Barbara and Tony provided us with useful ideas for walks and were really quick with communication

    Simran2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at the tree cabin for a little break away. It was absolutely beautiful, great location & the hosts were lovely adding thoughtful touches to the stay including Tony’s homemade delicious flapjacks 😃

    Lauren2019-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • You have to experience the cabin to understand it's charms. It was everything the details told us but Tony and Barbara's extra bits were great. Homemade flapjack on our arrival was delicious along with all the tea, coffee etc which was so helpful but on arriving the peace was something else. Absolutely no phone signal or WiFi in the unit helped us relax but you cannot stay in the cabin and not relax. We never touched the car until we left walking everywhere and wallowing in the views but the final joy was on the morning we left jumping into the outdoor shower was an experience that will stay with me for a very long time. Thank you for sharing you little bit of paradise.

    Rosemary2019-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • Such lovely hosts, gave us a proper tour of the area when driving back from the station and invited us in to show us some local routes. A very relaxing stay and well worth the money.

  • This is the perfect place to stay if you just want to get away from everything. The log cabin is lovely and cosy and has heating if it gets a bit cold at night. I loved looking at all of the quirky items which were placed all around the cabin, they were a nice touch. The patio area is lovely too, I enjoyed relaxing by the fire in the evening and making pizza to cook in the pizza oven. If you want to get away from the stresses of every day life then this is the place to stay.

  • We really enjoyed our stay in this cabin. A beautiful secluded spot to relax and a lovely cabin. The host was very helpful and easy to contact throughout our stay. There was information about places to eat which helped us find a lovely restaurant called the Farmers Boy Inn which had amazing pies. We would love to visit again!

    Stephanie2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful place to stay, an amazing, cosy little haven indeed. And the family go above and beyond for you. We’ll certainly be returning!

  • Haven on the Hill is a fantastic getaway for people wanting a peaceful relaxing time. Andrew and Vicky were attentive to our needs and went above and beyond providing games for us to play. 9 lives the chicken was a fantastic wake up call. We will definitely be staying again!! There are lots of natural beauty spots locally to see but the view from the cabin takes some beating.

    Matthew2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely rustic getaway! The cabin was very comfortable and the views were beautiful. The pizza oven was fantastic for dinner and the Red Lion a short walk away was great for a drink. The Leaf cafe nearby has lovely food for breakfast/lunch too!

Authentic medieval mini castle with roaring log fires and all modern comforts. In beautiful countryside on the River Tweed. Ideal for exploring the Scottish Borders. Biking at Glentress 5 minutes; Edinburgh 45 minutes; Peebles nearby. Heavenly walks.
Enjoy staying in a cosy, romantic miniature castle with all the luxuries of the 21st century. There is a luxurious double bed on the top floor and a possible 2 extra single beds in the Sitting Room.
The rolling hills and romantic valleys of Peebleshire are some of the loveliest in the land. World class Glentress is nearby for keen mountain bikers and Peebles is full of charm, with an award winning chocolatier and plenty of interesting shops.
  • This is a must stay place for anyone. The attention to detail is exemplary, sympathetically restored to an extremely high standard. The circular tweed walk (around 5 miles) is certainly worth doing as it's on easy flat terrain. Roaring log fires in both the lounge and kitchen make for cosy evenings in. Highly recommend and will definitely return.

  • Well, how to begin! Barns Tower is amazing! The history is well worth reading, as well. The place is exceptionally clean and tidy. What a wonderful experience to stay in such an old building with so much character. The personal touches - bread, milk, eggs, butter, cereal, and fruit were so nice to have. For us, the location was perfect as we hiked the Tweed Path and other areas in and around Peebles. A definite "must stay" when visiting the area. Even if you are not, it would be worth going out of your way to stay in this incredible place. Thank you, Lulu! We absolutely loved your place...

    Catherine2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • This is a wee treasure. We had a wonderful time and loved the environment with the river and abandonned railway. The castle was very clean and comfortable.

    Lobke2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • A truly unique and beautiful place to stay. The property has all the amenities you could need. It is in a great location for walking and for a day trip to Edinburgh.

    Rebecca2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • The Castle is beautiful and even better than it looks in the pictures. It’s cosy and very peaceful. I’m sure we’ll come back for another visit. Cheers, Jack and Emma

  • Everything was perfect: a warm welcome with touches of attention, perfectly clean places, heated rooms, complete kitchen equipment, sufficient bathroom linen, etc. It was a magical stay in a tower steeped in history in the Scottish countryside. The walks in the surrounding countryside are superb: fields, woods and river ... and Lulu offered us a private tour of the Neidpath Castle: exceptional! One of our best AirBNB experiences

    Fabienne2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • What a fantastic castle! Absolutely brilliant! Lovingly restored to an exceptional standard, warm and cosy - you'll not want to leave!

    Justyn2020-01-15T00:00:00Z
  • What an amazing find! A gorgeous ‘castle’ set on the grounds with other properties, we felt incredibly grand entering to stay. The gate and door were so much fun and the history of the castle was explained once inside. Impeccably clean and great cooking facilities, this cosy accommodation is a must stay and with the novelty of the spiral staircase, spacious rooms and considerate additions of food in the fridge, it was certainly hard to leave after our three nights.

You’ll love my place because of the view from your bed of the night sky and the view from your windows of fields and wildlife, especially birds. My place is good for couples for a romantic, relaxing getaway and solo adventurers who need time to relax and unwind in a unique space.
The quiet and the friendliness of the locals makes this location special.
Snowdonia and all the local attractions are within easy reach but it's nice to come back to a location out of the touristy area.
  • We have just got back from Nia’s cosy cabin and what a wonderful little break we’ve had. Nia was a lovely host. Everything was very well thought out, from the information provided on arrival to bath robes and slippers for the hot tub. On arrival Nia even put together a lovely little warm welcome gift of jam and scones which I though was a very thoughtful touch. The hot tub was just amazing which we had to ourselves during our stay but had full usage day and night. Beautiful setting of fields and farm animals. Perfect location, quiet and peaceful enough away from touristy areas but only a short journey away from then also. It really was the perfect little stay. Thank you Nia, we hope to be back soon in the future Xx

    Emma2020-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • Everything you could ask for in a countryside weekend. Beautiful cosy house with amazing views in peaceful setting - and the hot tub was a lovely touch! Nia was a wonderful host, we'll definitely be visiting again.

    Neha2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Nia’s tiny house for 4 nights in March. It’s a lovely place on their farm in close proximity to the north wales coast and Snowdonia. The tiny house is lovely, clean and very well done! It has literally everything you need for a week away including a hot tub with wonderful views over the fields and sheep. Nia was very friendly and welcoming and we would be happy to come back and stay again. Thanks so much!

    Gabby2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • We had such an amazing time at Nia's tiny house. Nia was really friendly and helpful when showing us around. Everything is very well thought out in the space. The hot tub is always perfect temperature and the robes provided make the dash out in the cold a little easier. The location is great, a pub in the village with a few good began options (not really walking distance but easy to get to), and easy enough to get to Snowden too in about half an hour. We didnt want to leave as it was so relaxing. There really are no faults! Will hopefully be back soon!

    Anya2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • From start to finish we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our time away at Nia’s beautiful home under the stars. Every aspect has been thought about carefully and the scenery and surroundings simply stunning. Would highly recommend and we look forward to returning!

  • Great place in private location close to lovely seaside and countryside

    Shannon2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • The tiny cottage was absolutely perfect, tastefully decorated with meaningful touches which made the whole experience extremely special. Nia was absolutely brilliant and provided lots of interesting local recommendations which we took complete advantage of during our break. The cottage had everything we needed for the stay and the kitchen is a lovely space for cooking with an unspoiled view over the table whilst we enjoyed our food. We were close to the main house but it felt incredibly private and access to the hot tub and facilities felt quite secluded which was wonderful. During our stay, we got engaged, this will always be a special place for us. Thank you Nia.

    Kate2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Couldn't recommend Nia's cabin enough! A lovely host, very discrete. The hot tub was amazing! Half an hour from the coast and snowdonia. Would also recommend zip world caverns!

The Den is a unique space within the Lake District - a Scandinavian style BBQ cabin. A large BBQ pit in the centre to sit around provides a cosy relaxing evening space, and a place to cook! WiFi, Fridge, Microwave, Kettle & Nespresso. Bedding provided, and a heated blanket! 8 minutes by car to Windermere, 5 minutes to Kendal. Easy access to a bus stop and cycle lane. Dales Way very close by. A camping-type toilet and sink (hot & cold water) next to the cabin. Dogs welcome £5/night extra.
Set in 2/3rds of an acre of beautiful gardens with private countryside views. Off street private and secure parking is provided. Toilet is located next to The Den in a separate shed. The sink has running hot & cold drinking water. Please note there are not shower facilities, but the sink with running water is suitable for taking a daily wash.
We are about half way between Kendal and Windermere. The main cycle lane into the Lake District is directly across the road, as is the Dales Way walking path. The Den is in a semi-rural setting with views to the surrounding countryside. For clarity's sake, during busy rush hours there is some traffic noise from the road, but evenings and nights are typically quiet. Please note that we are not the Windermere Camping Site, despite the AirBnB map showing it close by!
  • Very nice experience! Very nice cosy place ♥️

  • Very accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay here. It made our trip to the Lakes that extra bit special. Thank you for the recommendations Yassmine for where to go we enjoyed everything that you suggested. The room and facilities were fantastic. We were also very pleasantly surprised to meet the Shetland Ponies and Gusto! I highly recommend!

  • The Den is a beautiful made space and holds the most relaxing atmosphere. Matt and Yassmine have thought of everything, providing guests with charcoal, WiFi, tea and coffee, etc. They are also such friendly and responsive hosts! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the den and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, quirky place (the bbq is an amazing feature). Thank you both!

    Jessica2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Booked for Xmas present for my girlfriend and what a great choice I made. The hut was absolutely stunning from the moment we arrived. Location is also accessible from a number of viewpoints and amenities. The fire pit is a lovely touch where we made dinner. Shetland pony’s were a nice little surprise too. The hit was slightly cold, however to be expected in Feb. Highly recommend staying in this beautiful hut and we will be back!

    Joshua2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lot of fun, even in winter. Just be sure to bring enough coal if it's cold and rainy to use not only for the bbq but also to keep warm. The heated blanket is a great idea. The room was spotless and very well organised. Bbqing inside works amazing! We had some perfectly cooked steaks. The toilet (no shower) is outside of the cabin, in rainy/snowy weather it's less then ideal. But this is communicated in the ad so not a complaint, just a heads up for people checking this location out.

    Twan2020-02-26T00:00:00Z

If you want to experience London at it's best then come to Camden. This area of London is central, safe, and packed full of cafes, bars, famous nightclubs, music venues and the world famous Camden Market along with beautiful parks and Primrose Hill.
I live in the heart of Camden Town, in a late Georgian terrace of houses within a Conservation area, right in the centre of London. My flat is richly decorated which reflects the work that I do as a Textile Artist. My walls are covered with my choice of vintage finds, antiques and objets d'art. **Here is what Leanne from the US had to say when she stayed recently : ‘We absolutely loved everything about our stay. Your beautiful home was simply magical, we loved being surrounded with treasures from around the world. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience to make our first trip to London memorable’. My Flat on 1st and 2nd Floor 16 sq mtrs: SITTING ROOM/BEDROOM: You will be staying in my sitting room on a comfy sofa bed. You will get complete privacy during your stay in my sitting room. I might be around during your stay but In all probability you will have my Flat to yourself. This large sunny room has two big windows with wooden shutters and a big fire place. There will be fresh bedlinen, a choice of pillows, towels, big duvets and hot water bottles. There is a hanger rail for your clothes. **I provide earplugs for you as I am on a main road. **1 extra small child can stay on an AIR MATTRESS or ONE EXTRA adult. This will be like CAMPING but is appreciated by small families on a tight budget... or for a family for the weekend. You have free Wi Fi, TV, DVD and information about what is going on in London, with maps and guidebooks. KITCHEN: You can use my kitchen whilst staying with me. There is unlimited tea and coffee, a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, a fridge, iron and ironing board. I do not have an electric dryer - I hang clothes on a dryer in the hallway. **I don't supply breakfast but Arancini's ( 1 minute walk) has great food and Mario's is around the corner (with his own mini Art gallery). ** For 3 people to eat at the kitchen table is slightly tight... see the pictures. BATHROOM: You will be sharing the bathroom with me. • I am at a loss of words! Tessa’s home is an artist’s sanctuary- so inspiring, so much to see, it was hard to leave and explore all that London has to offer. That being said, when we did leave, everything was so close! Camden is honestly one of the best neighborhoods in London, and the location of this Airbnb is perfect. Tessa provides a thorough list of the best eats, shoppes, and visits of the city giving an authentic and well rounded experience of London. I just wish I had more time to spend both in the Airbnb and the city itself, but I suppose that just means I will have to come back soon and stay at this very spot!👌🏼❤️

  • What you can expect from staying with Tessa is a beautiful, comfortable home with a easy walk from the Camden Road Tube station and a variety of fun things to do while you are there! The flat is decorated top to bottom with interesting art and books and faces a garden back lot with Georgian buildings. A nice sized kitchen to have tea in and you might see a few Magpies out the window in the morning!

  • Excellent location as apartment a 7 minute walk from Camden station so superbly placed to see all of London. A wonderfully quirky alice in wonderland style apartment with surprises in all the nooks and crannies - seashells, a dolls house, fabulous hats.. Also enjoyed browsing the eclectic book collection ranging from Dostoevsky to Alexander McQueen. Bed was comfortable and apartment was cosy despite me visiting in February cold. Kitchen very well equipped with all the cooking utensils you could need. Check in and communication with host extremely easy and efficient. Great value stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Set in the idyllic village of Hankerton, next to a well known spa offering massage and beauty treatments and beautiful gardens. There is a double bedroom, living room, shower and a kitchenette. Ample Parking. Due to the current situation I would be very prepared to give big reductions for anyone who would like to come and stay, it’s a wonderful place to isolate yourselves, it will be deep cleaned wonderful walks, beautiful garden, tennis court and hairdressers and beauty treatments good WiFi.
The accommodation is situated in a beautiful garden, very quiet and peaceful, ideal for a getaway from the city. Near the accommodation you will find a small garden for your own use with a table and chairs under the apple tree, where you can sit and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. There is also a beauty spa open all week called Lifestyle Health and Beauty which has all the latest treatments. We would like to encourage people who are working in the area to take our accommodation as it's near Cheltenham, Swindon, Bath and not far from Bristol.
Hankerton is a small Cotswold village between Malmesbury and Tetbury. Swindon Bath and Cheltenham are near. Nearby Malmesbury is an historic town with a wonderful Abbey that you might wish to visit. You may also like to see the gardens tended by the celebrated naked gardeners next door! A little further, Tetbury has some wonderful antique shops and delicatessens to browse and the famous Highgrove Shop, which is well worth a visit. Within ten miles is the market town of Cirencester, which is at the heart of the Cotswolds and there are many shops and an interesting Roman museum. For water sports, one can enjoy an abundance of activities such as sailing, jet ski, kite surfing and fishing around the many lakes of the Cotswold Water Parks, a few miles away.
  • Sweet little cottage in the countryside. Rowena is a great hostess -- quick to reply to any messages and full of advice and suggestions for things to do. There are good pubs within walking distance. Having a car is definitely a plus if you want to do much exploring in the area beyond the immediate fields, though, we managed without one. While most of our walks were cut short by flooded fields, it was nice to explore the area and great to come back to the cottage to warm up with tea, brownies, and a good foot soak.

  • Great place to stay ☺️

    Anthony2020-01-15T00:00:00Z
  • A delightful visit! The cottage was well appointed and spotlessly clean and comfortable. Rowena was a very pleasant and helpful host. The local area is quiet and beautiful but not too far away from amenities. This was a perfect, quiet, relaxing and comfortable stay and is highly recommended for those wanting a ‘getaway’ from the big cities.

    Ian2020-01-09T00:00:00Z
  • It was a lovely couple of nights stay that we had at Rowena’s place. The cottage was lovely and very cosy. Everyone on the estate was very friendly and we couldn’t ask for a better time!

  • Lovely place to retreat to. Friendly welcome and beautiful space.

    Sarah2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • We can highly recommend this place. Everything was perfect. We stayed there in December : The property was lovely and warm and I loved the fact that there was a bath with plenty of hot water: Great for after going on a hike across the fields. The homemade brownies were scrummy. The lodge is sparkling clean. As I have said, just perfect.

6 minutes walk to Queens Road Peckham Station zone 2 London Victorian terraced house built 1880 Comfortable quiet room overlooks back garden. Modern kitchen Safe neighbourhood Buses including night bus Regular frequent transport, 7 minutes to London Bridge Variety of bars and restaurants nearby , bakery and supermarkets Lively multicultural area Maps, guides, and books about London available. Light breakfast Toiletries/towels provided.
Our house is on a quiet residential street with free parking, 5 minutes walk to train station ( zone 2) . The bedroom is quiet as it overlooks the back garden, comfy bed with 100% cotton bedlinen. Inside the house is spacious and we have everything you need for an enjoyable stay in London, folder with local information and maps/ travel guides. You can use the kitchen /dining area where there is plenty of seating and a tv/radio. The kitchen can be used to prepare simple meals. There is a seating area at the bottom of the garden which is very secluded. Smoking is allowed in the garden. Usually it's just myself and my daughter around, my husband is sometimes away for periods of time on business.
The area is very mixed and multicultural, the transport links are good. People comment on how friendly it is round here and you will see many different nationalities. Nearest station is Queens Road Peckham, 5 minutes walk away, its on the orange line which connects with underground network so getting around is easy. We are right next to Peckham which has plenty bars and restaurants so in the evening you don't need to go far to eat out. There is a rooftop cinema and bar at the Bussey building (an old cricket bat factory) which is nearby and another rooftop bar called Frank's which is very popular. I have a list of recommended restaurants and take aways all within about a 10 minute walk, there are also some good local pubs and bars serving excellent beer. The area is very multicultural and lively yet has all the amenities you would need from supermarkets to cinema and takeaways. Next to Queens Road Peckham station is the Blackbird Bakery for delicious cakes and coffee, a small Tesco supermarket and several take away restaurants including an excellent Chinese one. On Nunhead lane which is 10 miniutes walk away there is more of a village feel with small local shops, a craft beer shop/bar, some good restaurants and a traditional English pub called the Nun's Head.
  • We liked it very much at Carole. We received great tips for things to do, and we were able to move around the house as it suited us without feeling that the family's privacy was being disturbed. We particularly liked the breakfast and the short small talk with Loba, her husband.

    Ute2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Super Airbnb, clean, tastefully decorated. Little touches in the room (chocolate, cakes) that please. Easily accessible from central London! To recommend without blinking!

    Amandine2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • The first trip to London was better because of the accommodation. We were new to Airbnb. A spacious, cozy, windowed bedroom Clean toilet every day Bagels and cereals eaten every morning, I was so happy to have a cup of tea and play with cute cats in the backyard. I prepared cookies, water, and clean towels in the bedroom, and thanked me for being careful with the files that included information about London, nearby traffic, and restaurants. In the morning, I wake up pleasantly with the sound of birds To walk around the park and neighborhood It was fun. The bedding is also fluffy, crumbly and clean. Both my host and my husband have useful information about London, restaurants nearby, It was very helpful to be kind and warm. The price is great and not central London, but it takes 5-7 minutes to walk to the subway and the London Bridge is just a couple of stops away. It is recommended to stay in a place like this slightly out of expensive London city. Thank you for your gift of postcards and magnets. If you come to Korea, please come to the morning of Mt. thanked :) This place was really perfect to stay. It was my first time to stay in the private room, but her family was super kind and I could feel that her family try to make us to enjoy our trip. They tell us every information about London and village !! If i come back to London, I will stay here again !!

  • Very welcoming and friendly. The place is very clean. Carole and her daughter even made mulled wine and lasagna for me as if I was a member of their family. The place was clean, tidy and very thoughtfully prepared for guests. Very comfortable experience and would completely recommend if you need to stay in London for a few days.

    Jvr2019-12-24T00:00:00Z
  • It was a pleasure. The lovely house is like a hotel not at least because of the great service from Carole.

    Jenny2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fabulous time with Carole! She is very courteous and has great local tips :) It is centrally located and you can reach everything quickly and the house is more than cozy. Have fun if you are there :)

    Nane2019-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time staying at Carole’s house. The room is very warm and the best is the cats and the rabbit is so adorable. We love to play with them. And the breakfast is good too! You will feel so much at home while staying at Carole’s house. We sure will stay again when we come to London one day!

It's just east of the City of London so still very central. • Excellent access to central London

  • The room was comfortable and the host was very patient and friendly. The location is pretty good, there is a subway not far away, and it takes only two stops to go to Kings cross. The bathroom and kitchen supplies are very complete and can be considered as everything. There was an unknown thing on the curtains in the bedroom at the time ... There was a small footprint accidentally on the bed sheet, which was very good. I believe this is not intentional. Also, London accommodation is already expensive.

  • This cottage is the perfect escape. We drove from South London which took just over 4.5 hours on lovely winding country roads through the welsh countryside and mountains. The cottage is bursting with character (we particularly liked the beams and log fire) whilst perfectly modern with every amenity under the sun. The jacuzzi bath is fabulous and the kitchen is incredibly well stocked. We had a welcome note and package which was a lovely touch. The free parking right outside is a helpful touch, and the town nearby is very easy to get to, sporting a huge supermarket and then some smaller bakery’s, book shops etc. There is a huge range of information provided at the cottage and we took one of the hiking routes along Harlech beach which was wonderful. Overall would absolutely recommend a stay if you are seeking a cosy country escape.

  • We stayed for 3 nights and in all honesty we had a fantastic time- it exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect; the pub (The Grape) with wonderful food/service only 1 minute walk down the road. 10 minute drive to the nearest village, has everything you need for a short stay (Tesco/ shops/ cafe's). During out stay one of the days it was impossible to go out due to the weather (we attempted and nearly got stuck due to flooding!) but still had a lovely day chilling in the cottage and again was super handy for The Grape to be within walking distance. The property itself was beautifully decorated/ very homely/ clean with high quality fixtures and fittings. The parking outside was an added bonus as well as the area being super quiet. All in all we would love to come back in a couple of years but we would personally choose to come around April. We could not fault our stay, it was very relaxing and enjoyable.
