We're all different in many ways, but we all share one thing in common: passion for unique and magical experiences. We have long since wished there were easy ways to escape our busy city lives and retreat into a magical, beautiful and peaceful space that feels like another world. This idea eventually evolved into a mission to build with our own hands Melbourne's very own magical sanctuaries, and to share it with the rest of the world. We love imagining what we could create, to build, and to share them with the world through hosting. We constantly think about how to make our creations bring even greater sense of joy and wonder, and not about how much it'll cost us. We're genuinely excited and happy to host each new guest, to hear about what they love about our creations, and what we could do to make it even better. We have built and opened our first instalment of Melbourne's hidden sanctuary, which we lovingly refer to as "Heaven & Earth". We have plans to make it even better, as well as other ideas for other worlds we want to try building for our next instalments. All Melbourne's CBD attractions are within easy walking distance—you can reach Flinders Station, Federation Square, and the Yarra River in five minutes. Degraves Street is a three-minute walk, and Hardware Lane restaurants are six minutes away.

The place was just as described, with amazing attention to details and extra touches like great coffee machine and milk provided, plenty of towels and warm, cozy bedding. The forest theme created an environment more relaxing than I even imagined. The location of the apartment, being at the end of the hall meant it was a quiet oasis in the middle of the CBD.     This beautifully designed apartment covers the 2nd Floor a unique, open plan and light-filled space. The guest bedroom has a comfortable Queen bed fitted with fine quality linen. We provide Breakfast with a selection of Cereal, Yogurt & Artisan bread. The Guest lounge has big comfy sofas. Flinders Lane has Galleries, Boutiques, fabulous Restaurants & Bars; a safe and exciting neighbourhood. Perfect location to stay for Travellers & there are also facilities for Board meetings & Presentations.
    We live in a spacious and light-filled warehouse, furnished with French provincial furniture and Contemporary Art. The building was a Fashion House, converted to Apartments in the '90s; it has very high ceilings with Architectural details defining the space, the bathrooms have an industrial edge with stainless steel fit out. We have comfy sofas for when you need to relax with a coffee or a glass of wine after a busy day of work or sightseeing.
    The area of Flinders Lane has a history of Fashion and Art for over a century; the area has changed over the last 2 decades, tho' it has always remained edgy, Boutiques, Galleries and now fabulous foodie Restaurants, there are also several Live music venues and Bars tucked away in Laneways throughout the city.

  • I wrote an extensive review about my last stay here back in May 2019 so feel free to check that out. This time around I stayed from 5th to 9th February 2020. As with my last visit, it’s a wonderful experience staying with Bronwyn, Michael and their furry child Chai. So great to meet Michael in person this time too! Their super spacious warehouse apartment has everything you could ask for, plus the very central location in the city makes getting to the major local sights and CBD shopping / eating districts a breeze. I also really appreciated the complimentary continental breakfast that was so thoughtfully laid out the night before. This gave me a good energy boost at the start of the day as this time I ventured a bit further out and caught more trams - note that Melbourne is quite flat and very easy to get around on foot, which I mostly did during my last visit. Thank you for your warm and gracious hospitality as always.

  • I spent five wonderful days here. The location of the apartment is really amazing, in the heart of the city center. From here, it is very convenient to go anywhere. The house is the same as the pictures look like an art gallery, full of art atmosphere. Living here, has the private room and the bathroom, also can use Brown's kitchen, open kitchen, the tableware is very complete. Brown & Michael, They are very enthusiastic and made me feel very warm. They also gave me some very convenient and useful tour advice. There are extra services, a hearty breakfast, a bottle of wine, a transit card, washer, and dryer, and can store luggage for a while. They are really considerate for the guests. If you want a deep experience of Melbourne's life, come here ! Brown loves food,if she has time, you can cook with her. I'll come again next time. We travelled with a 4 month old and found the lift to work well for taking the pram in and out of the vicinity. A variety of appliances are available for your consideration. Mon is a very good landlord. How to check in is very detailed and clear, and the response is very fast.     You will love your stay in this designer apartment in one of Melbourne's BEST Bayside towns just south of iconic St Kilda! My place is just 2 minutes walk to the beach on Selwyn Avenue, or the cafes and restaurants of Elwood Village. The apartment is surrounded by huge leafy trees in a lovely quiet block.
    Marble bench top, oak floor boards, white tiled bathroom and a mirrored wall in the living space keep this apartment light, bright and with an open feel. My place has 1 bedroom separate from the living area to give you some space to move around. Heating and cooling keep you comfortable no matter what time of year. Cushions, lamps, candles & greenery give this apartment a cosy home away from home feel. There's a coffee machine and teas, and a kitchen well equiped to make some meals. On the warmer nights you can open up the living room to the balcony to hear the birds and smell the ocean. A street parking permit is available so that you can park for free and with no time restrictions on the street outside the building.
    Elwood is a very cool beachside, inner suburb of Melbourne. Lots of cafes, restaurants and shops with a village feel. Every street is lined with trees. There is a local farmers market on the 2nd Saturday of every month.

Originally a seaside resort in Melbourne's early years due to its close proximity to the city centre, St Kilda has developed into a trendy and cosmopolitan suburb St Kilda is famous for its food, entertainment and nightlife.     Hi and welcome to my studio apartment. It's very different than most places out there with it's unique color scheme, but it's just the way I like it, so do my friends and guests. It's deliberately not so bright when doors and curtains are closed, but has ample lighting to brighten things up when needed. Being 6'3", a minimalist and always on the go, I have deliberately avoided clutter, utilizing ample storage space within it's custom made furniture included within, the bed frame, coffee table, tv desk, with ample storage for suitcases beneath the tv. I'm not much of a cook, so basic kitchenware, kettle, toaster, sandwich maker are provided to get me by, however Elwood is full of amazing eateries just a stones throw away, either in Tennyson St shops (400m/4mins), Elwood Village in Ormond Rd (700m/8mins) Broadway Rd shops (750m/9mins) or Elstenwick shops (950m/12mins), all short scenic walks of beautiful Elwood which I enjoy.
    Living in Elwood is awesome, I love it! Beautiful old tree lined streets, amazing architecture, beach, public parks and botanical gardens, Elwood canal, golf course, public transportation, shops, bars, restaurants, everything is here!

    My apartment is a comfortable, large, bright, airy space in a quiet block in a beautiful tree lined streets close to all amenities. It is an older renovated apartment with character. The parquet wooden floor has been there for almost 70 years hidden under the carpet and rediscovered a few years ago. 2 min walk to beach, funky restaurants, cool cafes with a village feel. 15 mins walk along the beach to St Kilda and Acland Street. There was always a parking spot on the street, or (if coming home later in the evening) on the one adjacent. If you're staying for longer, the kitchen is a little light on equipment. The reverse cycle aircon meant it was warm & all the plants make it feel really homey!

    The Studio is not attached to the house, which means you have your own privacy to come and go as you please. Its modern, spacious and light. Great place from which to explore St Kilda & Elwood beaches, restaurants, bars and the city's culture and charm.
    Elwood is located on the Bay. Our Studio is very close to the beach and a short walk to St Kilda a buzzing place for tourists to visit, which has Luna Park, beaches, weekend markets, restaurants and bars. Elwood village also has amazing shops and restaurants. Trams are close which take you into the city in 20 mins. Our house is in a leafy quiet street.

  • Mick’s Place is the perfect spot in st. Kilda for exploring the area... 2 mins from acland street, 5 mins to #96 or #16 trams which takes you to Melbourne CBD (in about 20 mins)... The property is perfect for st. Kilda. Clean, tidy, great location... some decor a little tired, but this had NO negative impact on stay... fully functioning, modern kitchen if you wish to self cater... or easy access to places on Acland Street, or further around to Fitzroy Street for a vast selection! Comfortable bed aided an awesome nights sleep.. the ambient noise as you’d expect in a vibrant area like St.Kilda didn’t ruin a great nights sleep, although Mick does provide ear plugs should you need (I’m a light sleeper, and found I was good without them) Mick as a host is perfect... quick communication... lots of details about checking in, answers any questions you might have whilst there... which gave us the impression he’d fix anything quickly if needed, but on this trip, nothing required... Netflix easy to access if staying in, air con/ heater in living space, ceiling fan in the bedroom, spare key provided if required. Overall great stay, TY

Our house is ideal for couples, friends, families (with kids), solo or business travellers. Warm, comfortable and cosy inside with a lovely, private walled garden with patio and deck for sunny afternoons and al fresco dining.
    Peaceful art deco cottage in an idyllic setting make this a gem of a home. The interior offers two double bedrooms with comfortable queen sized beds. Both bedrooms feature blackout blinds and wardrobes. The house has a central stone-topped kitchen with the living room on the one side and a dining room on the other. The fold out sofa can comfortably accommodate another adult (or 2 children). High speed broadband and Netflix /AppleTV is available Stay cool or keep toasty with reverse cycle air conditioning. Two sets of French doors open out to a delightful alfresco area and garden with a country-style ambience. The deck at the rear of the garden catches the late afternoon sun making it a perfect spot to enjoy a drink and put your feet up. A wide courtyard running along the side of the house adds another outdoor dimension to the endearing home, which also features patterned ceilings, floorboards, and lead-light windows. The space is far from grand, best suited as a place to rest a weary head. The room is compact, it has a small fridge and a big wardrobe. However, you are welcome to use any of the other casual & comfy areas throughout the house. The shared bathroom has a shower and bathtub in case you'd love to recover from the travel fatigue.

You are also not far from the historical Ripponlea Gardens & Tea Houses if that takes your fancy.

The interior style is classic beachside chic, bespoke & light-filled. The perfect space to live like a local. Walking distance to Elwood Village and St Kilda's famous Acland Street. Running & bicycle paths will keep you fit and active during your stay. Walk up two flights of stairs to your Woy Woy Four door. Entry instructions will be forwarded once your booking has been received. A small entrance hall, with the original, newly limed NZ Kauri floorboards throughout, offers plenty of storage space for luggage. Your full size kitchen complete with dishwasher and European laundry with all of the cooking utensils, crockery, glassware and cutlery provided for the travelling cook. Next is the lounge/dining room area with its expansive, ever changing view over the canal and Port Phillip Bay beyond. The sky divers, runners, cyclists, dog walkers and sunsets keep you entertained while you curl up on the couch or leather armchair and just be. The flat screen is hooked up to Netflix so you can watch all your favourites and discover new ones during your stay. This room is air-conditioned and cools (or warms) the entire space as dictate by our fickle Melbourne weather. The bedroom runs off the lounge room and has expansive closets and an uber comfortable Queen with natural linen and cosy doona. A wall heater allows you to warm up the room on those chilly nights. The bathroom/ensuite has a walk-in shower recess with rainfall shower head and fantastic pink terrazzo style tiles on the floor and wall. The towel rail is heated and the mirrored cabinet is lit, and lights up! We supply shampoo, conditioner and liquid soap as well as two sets of towels. The simplicity of the brand new interior complements the austere exterior of this wonderful building.
    Woy Woy is right in the middle of St Kilda and Elwood. Both are vibrant villages with restaurants, bars, shopping... you never really need to leave. The leafy surrounds, the bay views, the beach and canal walks all just outside the door. A short stroll along the canal or along Marine Parade offers so many choice places to shop drink and eat.

  • We had a fabulous stay at Donna's place. The location was wonderful for a stroll along the water front or to walk into ST Kilda. The apartment itself was fabulous. It was stylish and comfortable with so many thoughtful touches such as beach towels and spare Myki cards. It was also fabulous having access to the washing and drying facilities. I'd highly recommend the place and hope to stay again on future visits to the area.

  • My GO-TO place in Melbourne. PERFECT FOR SINGLE OR COUPLE AIRBNBers! I stayed at WoyWoy during a business trip and it was the perfect place to relax at the end of the day. The apartment is complete with just about every resource you can imagine, so it made settling in so much easier. Access to the beautiful St Kilda & Elwood beaches within minutes, and Acland Street is a stone’s throw away so you need not travel far for anything. My only wish was that I wasn’t here for work so I could enjoy the area to the utmost. Donna works incredibly hard to give her guests the best possible experience and it definitely pays off - can’t wait to come back!

    Private room in a 2br apartment. Basic and bright queen size bedroom with shared bathroom, separate toilet, kitchen and laundry facilities. The place is a 5 minute walk to St Kilda Beach and 5 minute to popular Albert Park. Tram stations with connections to city are a 3 minutes walk and St. Kilda Pier with Penguins a 10 minutes walk from our place. The bathroom, kitchen and living room are shared with us.
    The bedroom has a queen size bed, desk and wardrobe and is yours for the duration of your stay. The bathroom, toilet and kitchen are shared, basic utilities (towels, shampoo, laundry powder, tea and coffee, etc.) are provided for guests. Guests can use the washing machine in the kitchen but the dryer is coin-operated and in the common area of the apartment complex. There is an outside drying rack which can be used free of charge and we can provide pegs if necessary. There is a microwave-oven available and you will get some space in the fridge. There is free on and off-street parking available for guests.
    The apartment is situated in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood between Albert Park and St. Kilda beach. both Park and beach are a 5 minute walk away and the Park has a beautiful lake with swans, dugs and other birds, sports facilities and great views over the Melbourne skyline. St. Kilda Pier is a 10 minute walk away and penguins can be spotted all year round starting around sunset. There are 2 small cafes and bakeries only a minute from where we live and supermarkets are two tram stations or a 10 minute walk away.

    Renovated ground floor, Art Deco apartment with high ceilings, original floorboards and feature brick walls, our unique apartment works around the concept of “hygge” (loosely meaning “cosy” and why Danish people are so happy!) We supply a simple breakfast, and have a Nespresso machine with a selection of pods as well as instant coffee, tea leaves (and tea pot) and tea bags.   • My partner & I really enjoyed our stay at Jodie & Tim’s place. The location is so prime - it’s the shortest walk away from places to eat & drink. The space was clean, stylish & really cosy. It’s a townhouse so you will hear the neighbours both upstairs & on the ground floor sometimes, but that didn’t bother us at all & they all seem like friendly people. It’s gated off so we felt safe.
