We have a small double room to offer guests the perfect stay, with a coffee machine, small fridge and microwave in the room. Whether you're here for business or pleasure, we are centrally located and walking distance to the town centre and International centre. We are only a short bike/car ride from Ironbridge, with a great connection to the motorway links, public transport and Weston park for V festival. The room comes complete with towels and toiletries.
***UPDATE*** We are currently only accepting bookings from Emergency services and Key workers at a very discounted rate (ID required) until further notice. Please contact me prior to booking. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *****IMPORTANT**** We DO NOT accept bookings on behalf of someone else. If anyone other than the air bnb account holder arrives, they will be turned away. This is our HOME and the reason we set security parameters with air bnb. If you are booking on behalf of a business, please let us know in advance. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We live at the end of a cul-de-sac in a very quiet residential area. The house was built in the 1970s and has been modernised throughout. It has a large front, side and rear garden, for guests to enjoy the quiet green space, with a book on the decking. The room is small in size and has a very cosy feel. It is decorated to a theme of celebrating the hollywood sirens, mixed with a shabby chic vibe. **** The Bed**** The bed is a standard UK double bed complete with pocket sprung mattress and memory foam overlay - it is unbelievably comfy! It is supplemented with 2 contoured memory foam pillows and 2 luxurious, quality Dorma "full forever" pillows, plus several bolster / decorative cushions. The duvet is by Fogarty and is 12 togs (3 tog in summer) of anti-allergen duck down bliss. The pillows and mattress have washable protectors changed between every guest for hygiene. ****The room facilities**** The room also has a small fridge, which is suitable to store drinks/ wine or small food items. The fridge is switched off until you require to use it. We have also put a small microwave in there for those guests who prefer to eat a store bought meal and heat it up. It benefits from a tv/dvd player with a Now Tv box allowing you to watch catch up and on demand channel's. We have also included a selection of DVD's in the room too. We also provide a selection of quality branded toiletries (in the Marilyn Monroe box) Bath sheets and guest robes as well as an extensive hot drink selection. ****The bathroom**** The bathroom has been completely refurbished in May 2018. It is complete with modern L shape bath with rainfall shower. The toilet and sink are also L shape with the toilet having a hidden cistern. The bathroom is tiled from floor to ceiling and is finished off with 9 ceiling spotlights. It has an intentional industrial feel to it. **** The dogs....**** As listed we have 2 very friendly dogs - Mavis the pug and Hughie-bear our yorkie. They wont bother you during your stay unless you want to see them as they do not go upstairs - in which case you will have a friend for life as they love nothing more than a good fuss! ****Parking...**** There is plenty of on road parking at the side of the house on Abbey fields, all we ask is you park considerately for our neighbors. And finally..... We are happy to let our guests have complimentary use of our traditional wicker picnic basket, it is set up for 4, but we find it serves 2 best. If you would like to use this, please let me know in advance so I can make it available to you; then all you have to do is fill it with food and wine! Also if you are going to a festival, I provide guests with a complimentary "survival kit" which includes many items that can fit in your bag/pockets
We are located in a quiet residential area, which is walking distance into the town centre or only a short bus ride away. Telford town park ia also walking distance and the beautiful Silkin way can be found here which is great for scenic bike rides or walkers. The nearest train station is only a couple of miles away and normally costs around £4-5 in a taxi. We are also only 15 miles away from Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton by train/car, and only 40 minutes by train from Birmingham city centre
  • My wife and I had a great time at Corina's place. Nathan and Corina made our stay at their place extremely comfortable. They were also very helpful with tips on how to navigate local transport systems.

There is everyrhing you need for fast meals (a microwave, a fridge, plates, mugs,...) inside the room but you don't have access to the kitchen wich was fine because we didn't need it. The room is really lovely and clean and the bathroom is perfect. Would recommand.

    Ally2019-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • We had absolutely amazing stay and puppy snuggles ❤️ It was so convenient location walking distance from international centre.

    Milda2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • A quiet, simple, spartan room just off the family living space is hosted by a young family in an established part of Telford. A fast 10 minute walk will put you at the International Center or the main shopping and dinning area just north of the International Center. There’s good WiFi and Ralph the small white terrier is always happy to see you. Your SatNav or Google maps will get you close to their place. But you will need to follow the door numbers down to the far end of the row to find their unit. Let them know when you’re close and they can turn the lights on.

Probably the largest Airbnb room in Telford! Studio style room separated into living & sleeping areas on guest only top floor of renovated chapel. Our beautiful, quirky Grade 2 Listed three storey 18th century chapel & small holding oozes character & views, situated on a rural lane on a nature reserve, in the heart of stunning Shropshire. Our Grade 2 listed chapel home with small holding, is full of history and has many original features. This enormous room has beamed ceilings and is on the private top floor of the chapel. It has a 250 year old round feature window with a gorgeous view over forest, simple self catering facilities, futon sofa, flat screen TV and comfortable double bed with luxury down duvet and pillows (non-down available on request). We also provide a four seater dining table and chairs. This is removed for bookings of over four guests. This room is ideal for self sufficient travellers with table and chairs, fridge, kettle, crockery, cutlery and microwave. Just clean up as you would do at home! There is no stove, just a microwave oven. The comfortable futon when used as a bed is classed as a double but it is slightly smaller than a normal double bed. We have up to four folding beds we can use for this room as needed for large families. We would of course ask large groups of adults to book two rooms. We would want our guests to enjoy a five star experience with us and you may not get this if you choose to book four or more adults in one room! We do have other rooms usually available. Space is of course affected as extra beds are added to this room. Large flat screen TV with freeview Welcome tray with tea and coffee making facilities, biscuits and bottled water Kettle Small refrigerator with freezer compartment Microwave Four seater table and chairs Crockery and cutlery Tea towels and washing up liquid Washing up bowl and drainer Futon Sofa (if not booked as a bed) Small table and additional chair Towels Hairdryer Mirrors Hanging rail for clothes Welcome pack Local information folder Breakfast and evening meal upgrades usually available (please ask) Our gravel lane is wonderfully peaceful with no passing traffic other than the one or two neighbours who live further down the lane. In total we have three large rooms listed which may be booked by guests. Extra beds and or cots can be placed in a booked double room for a small charge per person. Free parking is available in a private layby next to our house or safely further up our little lane where we park our own vehicles.
The best thing about our neighbourhood is its idyllic setting and historical value. The houses are all different and have sprung up over several centuries. It is a pretty place to be. We live on a quiet no through lane which looks out onto woodland with stunning countryside views.

One of the earliest properties in the Ironbridge/Severn Gorge, this is a charming 2 bedroom cottage. We have created a home from home - all the things you could possibly need are included - from slow cooker and bbq, to decent kitchen knives, from cot to pushchair to bottle steriliser, from books, dvds, and family games, to age appropriate childrens toys.
There is a double bedroom and a child's bedroom (with child size bed - up to age 6 approx). There is a double sofa bed in the sitting room which is very comfortable. We can also provide a travel cot, which can be placed in either bedroom. There is a pretty sitting room with garden views, and a downstairs kitchen/breakfast room. The patio and garden are shared with the main house, but with 1.5 acres to explore we are sure you will feel at home. We have a 4-6 person hot tub available to you, perfect after a long walk or cycle. Large wooden play house and wooden swing and slide set are available, with your own supervision required.
We came on holiday to Shropshire touring campsites in the summer of 2015 and fell in love with it straightaway. We had sold our house in Oxford and moved in by Christmas the same year. You just have to be here to appreciate how beautiful it is and how friendly people can be when they live somewhere which inspires them every day. As a tourist location it is frequently listed as one which should be on everyone's list, although rarely is it one of the most visited. This means that you can access all we have to offer at an unhurried and relaxed pace, scenery, fishing, walking, shopping, eating out, historical landmarks, museums, canoeing, really, I can't list it all; just look it up online and book now. You may end up being our neighbours before too long!
  • We enjoyed a brilliant time - Adam was a great host, the kids found him funny and nothing was too much trouble.. the prosecco, chocolate and breakfast provisions we're gratefully received! The house was characterful, warm and comfortable, kitted out with everything we needed to prepare dinner in the evenings. We felt at home as soon as we arrived and would have loved to have stayed for longer than the few days. We were perfectly placed to explore the local area with most of the Ironbridge attractions less than a 10 minute drive away. The hot tub was a steaming 40 degrees and offered some welcome peace! We'll be looking to stay here again soon as there's more of Ironbridge left to explore! Thanks Adam and Chloe for such a great time!

    Antonio2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lovely little cottage with everything you could need for your time away- kitchen with all utensils, pans etc, lovely sitting room and spacious main bedroom. The outside space is also lovely.

We also provide a 45 litre refrigerator, toaster, microwave, kettle and cutlery and crockery items so guests can simply self cater. We ask that you keep things clean and tidy up as you would at home! We are happy to prepare the room for anything up to four family members although it's standard decor is a double. We can add a fold up bed for one extra guest. If you book for four in total the two extra beds will be airbeds due to space restrictions. This will of course impact on the space available but it enables a family to be accommodated in one room together. It is a budget choice when booked for four of course. Please be clear on this. We have larger rooms which accommodate four easily but they are not ensuite. The sofa will be removed for bookings for four guests. For a more spacious group booking; we have two additional rooms we book out, and can provide beds for up to fourteen guests. We have three local pubs and a grocery shop in walking distance. Our home is unique in that it appears to be quite rural and yet is just 5-10 minutes from the M54 and Telford and the International Centre itself, as well as only a mile or so from Ironbridge, Ironbridge Gorge and the museums and world heritage sites there. We have no over looking neighbours and the area is beautifully quiet. For most of the year you will be awoken by bird song in the mornings.
Our hamlet is rural and quaint with every house on our lane a hodge podge of local history spanning some 450 years.

The Barn at Lees Farm is Nestled in the centre of the UNESCO World Heritage Site - The Ironbridge Gorge. This rural retreat offers annex accommodation attached to a barn dating from 1830. Fantastic position for Geo-caching, Walking, Mountain Biking and Canoeing. It is very peaceful and relaxing. We are dog friendly, please contact me for charges.
The Annex has one bedroom with a double bed and a small sofa bed (one adult or two children. Is a double but a cosy one!) in the living area. Travel cot available. Space outside is shared with the main barn, privacy is respected and the garden has separate areas. The hot tub is in an enclosed area - The hot tub is an extra charge of £30 this includes enough wood (I provide kiln dried) to heat the tub for the first heat. It is around 1-2 bags per heat for the next or subsequent days charged at £5 per bag. I can have the hot tub lit ready for your arrival for £60 (if you decide not to use the hot tub you will still need to pay the £60) If you wish to bring your own wood then a charge of £20 will still be made to cover the costs of making the hot tub ready. I use 3-4 bags of kiln dried to ensure 3 hour heat time. The hot tub gets VERY hot and water temp cannot be regulated as it is wood fired. It is a two person hot tub and we don't recommend it for young children. Please do not let children play around the hot tub area. Having the Hot Tub lit ready for you may depend on my availability on the day. PEASE NOTE - IF YOU HAVE REQUESTED THAT THE HOT TUB IS HEATED FOR YOUR ARRIVAL, IT WILL BE AT THE CORRECT TEMP THE ETA /TIME GIVEN/REQUESTED. As is it wood fired it will retain some heat but will not stay warm for hours should you decide not to use it. It will need re-lighting.
VERY close to Ironbridge. 20 minute drive to Shrewsbury Blists Hill Victorian Town is in walking distance.
  • Beautiful place, very high spec and wonderful hot tub. Emma is a warm host with a lovely menagerie of animals, a thoughtful nature and a magical middle-of-nowhere hide away.

Renovated chapel and small holding situated down an idyllic, rural gravel lane but around 2 miles from Telford town centre, Ironbridge, local hospitals, business parks, the IC (Telford International Centre), Lilleshall sports Centre and the M54 and M6. This room is on the private top floor. We live downstairs and have a communal front door. We offer this listing at a discounted rate so guests booking this listing will be accommodated in one of three rooms, allocated on arrival. All our three rooms have received excellent Airbnb reviews. If you have any queries on this please ask. For an additional £3.50 per person a breakfast package can be provided in your room should a guest request this before arrival. Late evening arrivals can book a hearty home cooked evening meal for an extra £10 to ensure a warm and restful welcome. We can add beds to this double room for family groups, depending on which room is available. Pairs of guests wanting to add extra beds to a double room may add one for a charge of £6 to cover the additional laundry and room prep, and the use of a bed from another room. Larger groups bookings are ideal for large families. We would of course ask groups of adults to book a second room as we want all our guests to enjoy a five star experience with us and you may not get this if you choose to accommodate four or more adults into one bedroom. We usually have other rooms available and it is a nominal amount to add one to this booking. The rooms have beautiful woodland views and our guests have use of a large fully equipped bathroom that we the host family won't use when we have guests booked in. Free parking is available in a private layby next to our house or safely further up our little lane where we park our own vehicles. The property location ensures peace and quiet with no passing traffic. Free Wi-Fi is available as is a paid laundry service. Our dogs never go upstairs.
Chapel House is located down a beautiful, historic, semi rural, no through gravel lane with no passing traffic. It is built upon a nature reserve and offers lovely woodland walks and views. We are just 6-8 minutes drive from both Telford and Ironbridge centre.
  • Lovely lady. I literally checked in then had an emergency so couldn't stay the night but from what I saw it was very nice. Laura was very welcoming and the house is pretty

    Kate2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Had a absolutely amazing stay . Such a thoughtful host and so helpful. House was beautiful and very comfortable. Could not recommend high enough.

    Dan2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Telford Chapel is an ideal base from which to explore the area, being just minutes from the Ironbridge Gorge attractions. The host, Laura was quick to respond to my questions and able to accommodate my change to our initially agreed on arrival time. I found parking in the layby up the street from Telford Chapel most convenient with just a short walk to the house. Laura met me at the door and offered to upgrade me to the en-suite room which I found cozy and comfortable. It had more than enough amenities for my needs. The house was quiet, the mattress just perfect for me, and the duvet comfortably toasty; all the perfect ingredients for restful sleeping. Telford Chapel felt like my home away from home. Pro tip: on the walk from the layby to the house, slow down and cast your gaze to the heaven's above, the sky was clear and the stars brilliant. I would certainly stay at Telford Chapel again.

  • This place is a wonderful example of the beauty of using AIRBNB. I felt instantly at home, Laura is delightful and very welcoming. I got a real sense that I was in a wonderful, happy, family home with a rural feel to it... heard the pigs outside when I came through the gate which was lovely. Amazing building with many original features. Room was big and spacious and exactly as Laura had described it. Fantastic value for money. I will definitely be coming back here and look forward to meeting the children next time! As a single traveller with a grown up family, sometimes on the road with work, this place was perfect. Thank you xx

The Old Coach House is a detached annex of our Georgian property and overlooks the much loved Memorial Gardens in the centre of Broseley. Recently renovated to a high, modern standard with a relaxed and tranquil atmosphere, The Old Coach House is an excellent base to explore long country walks among ancient woodland, discover what Ironbridge Gorge has to offer with its 7 museums and attractions, or step things up a gear cycling and canoeing along the river Severn.
The accommodation comprises of a large double bedroom, open plan living area with compact sofa bed, kitchen, dining and lounge area and a separate shower room. An excellent base to explore. Situated overlooking the world famous Ironbridge Gorge, Broseley is an early industrial town and home to one of the seven fascinating Ironbridge Gorge museums. Take a stroll through 'The Jitties' of Broseley Wood and find the picturesque town of Ironbridge unfold before you. After your adventures you can leave the hustle and bustle of the tourist trail behind you to taste real Shropshire life in the many traditional pubs, cafes and restaurants on your doorstep in Broseley. The property is situated set back off the main high street and overlooks the beautiful towns memorial gardens.
Broseley has strong links with the early industrial revolution. By the beginning of the 17th Century it was a thriving industrial settlement having close links with Coalbrookdale, on the other side of the River Severn. In the 18th and 19th centuries it developed into a major centre for coal mining, iron manufacture, earthenware manufacture and a variety of associated activities. The famous Iron Bridge was built in 1779 to link Broseley with Coalbrookdale and led to the foundation of the town of Ironbridge which is now part of a World Heritage Site. This early industrial activity has resulted in a settlement of remarkable character. The architecture is a mixture of three centuries of building styles in a hilly and wooded setting mixed together in a delightfully haphazard manner. Dates for the diary Ironbridge Walking Festival http://www.ironbridgewalking.co.uk/ The team behind the hugely popular annual Ironbridge Gorge Walking Festival have launched their long-walks programme for the 2019 festival. The event, running from 4 - 12 May, is offering more than 50 FREE walks over nine days, making it probably the biggest in the West Midlands and one of the best in the country. The festival offers a number of ‘themed’ walks ranging from two to 21 miles covering a whole host of topics from the wonderful landscape and geology of the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site to the wildlife that inhabits The Gorge’s ancient woodlands Broseley Festival https://www.broseleyfestival1.co.uk/ Broseley festival is a free 2-day music event held here in Broseley. The High Street is closed off from traffic with the mainstage situated at the very top of the high street and a smaller more family orientated stage situated in the Memorial Gardens directly in front of the property plus the opportunity to visit the funfair. Usually held on the 3rd week end in June..please be mindful that we overlook The Memorial Stage, so it's a little noisier that weekend!
  • We loved our weekend stay in this cosy air bnb. It's very clean and stylish with thoughtful touches like bread and milk on arrival. Broseley town has everything you need for a couple of days and there are plenty of walks and sights nearby.

    Sharon2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • A really cosy little place offering good value. The sofa bed is a bit small for 2 children but there is a futon mattress which worked well for us. The bedroom is really comfortable and relaxing. Terry was really friendly and helpful and the bread, milk and beer on arrival was a nice touch. Also all the information regarding things to do and places to eat was very helpful. We really enjoyed exploring the surrounding area which has loads to do especially with kids. We got a years passport worth £70 with our Tesco club points which enabled us to get into all the local museums for free which was a bonus.

  • A cosy and stylish place to stay! Broseley is a charming little village and an ideal base from which to explore the Ironbridge region and has a couple of good restaurants too! The couch house is compact but has everything you need and is very comfortable. Terry and Nina were extremely welcoming hosts. We’d definitely stay here again!

    Katy2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • First class location in Broseley which still boasts independent retailers, cafes and bars. At the head of the valley it’s a total work out for cyclists - the hills into Ironbridge are amazing and once you’ve worked out the short cuts not TOO bad coming back up! Terry was an excellent host and gave me some great local walking tips- the accommodation was first class, clean, well appointed and comfortable - and as a massive bonus for me, as I like cooking, it’s the first Airbnb I’ve stayed at with a proper sharp kitchen prep knife - nice one Terry! I shall, if invited, be staying again. Thank you so much

Beautiful one-bedroom annexe in rural shropshire - perfect for a relaxing holiday or overnight stay.
The Annexe includes a spacious open plan living space with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It has a large lounge area with seating for 3 people and a cosy log burner which keeps you toasty warm. Of course there is also electric heating so if a wood burner's not your thing you'll still be warm. The dining area consists of a wooden table and seating for 4 people. The kitchen whilst compact has everything you need to cook a simple meal (my husband and I both love to cook so all the equipment is practical - a real home from home). There's a fridge, microwave and 2 ring hob (all brand new) and plenty of space for food preparation. You'll also find salt and pepper and olive oil for use during your stay. We lovingly provide everything you need for breakfast including fresh milk, a choice of cereals, bread, butter, home-made jam and marmalade - and of course tea and coffee (including freshly ground coffee and a cafetiere). The bedroom has a double bed with luxury memory foam mattress, a wardrobe and chest of drawers. When 3 people stay we have a small fold-up bed which we make up ready for you in the lounge or the bedroom. The bathroom has an electric power shower, shampoo and conditioner and shower gel. • Outstanding stay at Melina's annexe. Perfect for our family of three (2 adults and a 17month-year-old) . We stayed during the weekend of storm Ciara and were very warm, cosy & safe. Melina is a brilliant host, lighting a fire for us ready on arrival. The breakfast touches are a real treat and we're not ashamed to say we scoffed all the jam! When we're visiting the area again Melina's property is the first we'll look to.

    Neil2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Melina was a great host. Great little cosy place to stay. All lovely and warm once you get the fire going.

This room is in a Grade 2 Listed building, and is shared by a family. Last minute bookings and late night check-in's are OK! The old house has a bit of a draft and is sometimes a bit dusty. It is also a lived in home with a friendly family; dad, 2 kids, a dog and a cat. If you’d like to relax in the steam room, I can fire it up for you. The back garden has a BBQ and outdoor furniture.
The room is at the top of the stairs in the back half of the home. It is quiet and secluded. There is a new en-suite in the room. Windows overlook the back garden.
We are located near St. Andrew’s Church, only a 5 minute walk to the Shifnal train station, and less to the many pubs, shops and restaurants in Shifnal. Telford and the International Centre are less than a 10 minute drive away. Iron Bridge and the Blist Hill museum are close too.
  • Very clean, Lloyds a great host, we were made very welcome. Very good location, would definitely recommend

    Brigitte2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • Lloyd's place is quirky, welcoming and cookie the dog is adorable. A charming place.

    Anna2020-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed one night at Lloyd's as a stopover on the way through. It's a really nice room, clean and with everything we needed (we particularly appreciated having tea and coffee-making facilities right in the room) and pets with just the right amount of friendliness. (The cat found its way into the room and was very inquisitive, but quite happy to be let out again!) Lloyd was also very friendly and hospitable, and his flexibility on when we could arrive and leave was much appreciated. The only thing to be aware of is if you're a very light sleeper - the house is practically next to the church, and its clock chimes the quarters. Not massively loud though, and the lovely location makes up for it.

    Philip2020-01-25T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely, cosy room perfect for our night's stay. Lloyd was very helpful when we arrived earlier than expected, sending us instructions on how to access the property.

    Emma2020-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great weekend staying in Shifnal. We brought our dog along to stay with us who was made most welcome. The place is very warming and in a fantastic location for various good food and drink venues. Will definitely visit again as was made very welcome!

Set in a quiet south facing position within the Ironbridge Gorge, the comfortable room in our 1860's house has a countryside feel whilst being within walking distance of local restaurants and some of the many museum sites. Ironbridge is a historical village set in a steep sided valley with narrow roads, we are situated at the top, and are an easy 12 minute drive to conference venues in Telford Town Centre. Enjoy our home-baking and great garden.
Quiet part of town. A bright bedroom with original Coalbrookdale fireplace that comfortably fits 2 and, with a squeeze, a baby's travel cot. We can adapt room to double or 2 single beds. Contains desk and wifi. Spacious underfloor heated shower room with toilet and basin. Fabulous views of the area from our enchanting garden in which guests are free to wander and use as they wish. Breakfast is included in the price with a choice of home-baked bread and jam, our own fruit, porridge, oh and eggs if our hens have laid!
Ironbridge is where much of the world as we know it began and walking through its narrow streets past old houses and over the iron bridge itself you can feel its history. We see and hear none of the noise or sights of modern Telford, however its handy to have near by its urban conveniences of cinema and supermarkets. There is lots for visitors to do in the immediate area, also within a 20 mile radius: walking the Shropshire hills at the Long Mynd; the Severn Valley railway; wander the market towns of Bridgnorth and Shrewsbury, National Trust properties.

  • Great place in a good location. Anna and James were very quick to respond to any communications. We arrived to a really clean house, with a bottle of wine and some eggs, bread etc. A nice touch. Very convenient for the Co-Op and an easy walk into Ironbridge. I can recommend the Coracle micropub at the far end of town, a very friendly bunch. And a pretty good chippy too. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this house and will probably return when we come back to Ironbridge.

Gorgeous one bedroom barn, beautifully converted and furnished to a high standard. The barn is on a farm in a pocket of glorious Shropshire countryside. The UNESCO World Heritage site at Ironbridge is only 3 miles away, we are close to Weston Park, the Royal Air Force Museum, Cosford as well as being only 3 miles from Telford. Ideal for anyone visiting Telford for business who are looking for somewhere comfortable and quiet in the countryside.
The Powerhouse is ideally suited for 1 or 2 guests, but there is a sofa bed to accommodate children if required and a travel cot. There are two levels separated by a spiral staircase and a small space outside with table and chairs which is West facing so you can enjoy the evening sun. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine and small dishwasher. There is under floor heating downstairs from a ground source pump, the barn is highly insulated and thoughtfully designed with some original features.
We live in a small pocket of Shropshire's rolling countryside, it feels remote but in fact is very close to shops, cinema, ice skating rink, bowling etc. in Telford.
  • Bright, immaculately clean, nicely furnished & well equipped barn conversion. Very conveniently located for me just 5 minutes from Shifnal & with wonderful views across the Shropshire countryside. Situated in Jackfield, just down the Severn river from Ironbridge, this charming four-bedroom terraced house set-back from the river, was converted from an old tile factory. Newly renovated, it offers a wonderful base from which to explore the Ironbridge Gorge and museums, and to enjoy the Shropshire countryside. Downstairs, the house offers kitchen, dining room, lounge and cloakroom. Upstairs, two double and two single bedrooms. It has a small front garden. Comfortably sleeps 4 but can take 6.
A week around Ironbridge and Shropshire There’s a lot to see in the region around Ironbridge and in Shropshire; more than you may think! So we’ve put together a sample itinerary, with ideas to show how you might easily spend an enjoyable week here. Day 1 Arrive. Go shopping, walk into Ironbridge, look around, have a tea and see the famous iron bridge. Day 2 AM: Go to the Coalbrookdale museum, on the site where Abraham Darby set the industrial revolution in motion. PM: For kids, there’s RAF Cosford museum of flying. Groups of adults might prefer Weston Park and stately home, followed by afternoon tea at David Austin Roses. Day 3 AM: Take some exercise and go for a walk up the Wrekin hill, Telford’s local landmark. Fabulous views of the Welsh borders from the top. PM: Buildwas Abbey is a beautiful former Cistercian abbey, dating back to the 12th century church. Finish with a walk along the banks of the river Severn. Day 4 AM: The Blists Hill museum just across the river, depicts life in Victorian England during its industrial heyday. The Jackfield Tile factory was at one time one of the largest tile producers in Britain. PM: Bridgnorth is a picturesque country town, on a hill with a funicular railway. It is also home to the Severn Valley railway - take a trip on a steam train to Bewdley. Day 5 AM/PM: Stretch your legs, take in some wonderful views and see quaint Shropshire villages on a trip via the Shropshire Hills to Ludlow, Church Stretton, the Long Mynd and Clee Hill. Day 6 AM: Spend the morning looking around Ironbridge. Maybe buy an original Merrythought teddy bear for a loved one! PM: Viriconium (Wroxeter) was the fourth largest Roman city in Britain and almost as large as Pompeii. Explore the bath house and a reconstructed town house. Day 7 AM. Visit historic Shrewsbury with its abbey and wonderful indoor market hall, where individual traders are thriving. PM: Attingham Park is a Regency mansion set in landscaped grounds, with an impressive Nash staircase. Alternatively, go to the Wyre forest with walking and activity trails in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Day 8 Depart, but don't leave it too long before coming back!
  • Wonderful property in a lovely location. Lots of thoughtful extra touches - one of the nicest properties we’ve every stayed in. Hope to return again in the future. Thank you!

  • Simon's house is very comfortable (especially the bed!) and well equipped. We were warm and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was perfect for exploring this beautiful area and we would definitely consider coming back and recommending it to others. Simon kept us updated about the flood situation, which wasn't an issue in the end, thankfully. His instructions were very friendly, clear and helpful. Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by a neighbour and recieved a call later in the evening to check we had everything we needed. The only thing we would warn about is the lack of phone signal. Only a problem if you have an issue...we actually found it quite refreshing to be off grid!!

    Tess2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely house in a great location with communicative hosts that go the extra mile to make your visit a memorable one. Highly recommended.

    Gareth2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Simon and Penny are outstanding hosts and were really helpful when we thought flooding would affect our stay. Instead we had a really lovely time and would recommend to anyone. My only tip to anyone staying is to turn the heating off overnight as you'll be exceedingly snug without it and you will avoid creaky pipes in the morning. And that's the only thing I would change in our stay. It was delightful and everything about the house is really comfortable. It's in a fantastic location too - breakfast in the cafe in the craft centre was a treat.

    Alexandra2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • We’ve just got back from a few nights here and would thoroughly recommend it. The cottage is spacious, very light and comfortable and in a lovely location. Simon and Penny are really responsive and were keen to ensure we had a wonderful stay. We hope to return!

We drive our prices low to appeal to a wider audience, including mini break holiday guests, contractors, students and business professionals. We offer "Any time remote check in", free parking directly outside the door and Free Wifi. The Pheasant is no longer trading as a bar and restaurant, we provide accommodation only, we are within walking distance from several pubs, cafe's, restaurants, 2 mini supermarkets all located in Broseley. Further afield within 1 to 2 miles are a selection of lovely eateries including double rosette restaurants.
A few hidden gems to look into. Clays restaurant (1 minute walk), The King and Thai (4 Minute walk), The Seven Restaurant (aa rosette restaurant and quite exceptional. 1.2 miles), The Woodbridge (great all round eatery and bar, fabulous riverside setting, Coal fires. 2 miles). The Hundred House at Norton. (5 miles worth the drive, great owner chef, beautiful building.

  • Great house with everything you need to eat in or plenty of eateries locally. Area is lovely with the gorgeous town of Ironbridge nearby. The house is in the town centre. Great for dogs and some nice local walks.

  • We really enjoyed our stay in Laura’s house. It was spotlessly clean and the kitchen is very well equipped to cook your own meals. Laura has really gone the extra mile to think of all the little touches to make your stay special. The location is great too, only a very short drive to the amazing Ironbridge Gorge with all the fantastic museums to explore. Highly recommended!

  • Amazing host and family! Very dog friendly home and my dog loved it as much as I did! Excellent value and would highly recommend!

  • Lloyd was a great host and communication was great this was my first use of Air B and B so I had to learn how to use the program. This journey was made easier by Lloyd. Clean, spacious room, good shower always a big plus for me and nice touches in the room. High street and the local amenities a short walk away. Would come again

Double bedroom in a detached 3 bed house. House is occupied but privacy is guaranteed. The one big main bathroom is across the hall and there is a downstairs toilet. Separate dining room and kitchen. TV screen in each bedroo and free wifi...
Close to local amenities, Morrisons and 24hr Tesco. Located in beautiful Lawley village the area is quiet and peaceful. Also close to the local hospital and Telford Town Centre!
Very peaceful and quiet except building works far opposite during the day but it's not too bad
  • Was a nice and cozy stay at Lynn's place..

    Soja2019-12-05T00:00:00Z
  • Lynn is the absolute best. Best Airbnb stay to date! Her home is warm, comfortable and stylishly decorated. She was very kind and welcoming towards me and made me instantly feel at home! I had no trouble whatsoever! Everything I needed was set out. I was even invited to use her lounge and TV! The bedroom was sparkly clean and the linens were fresh which was honestly the best thing after 14 hours of travelling! Thank you Lynn for making my stay special 🌸

  • Lynn's place is superb. Very clean and organised. Shops are just round the corner. Very quiet and peacefully during the day if you happen to be here for work and doing nights like I did. Expect a very warm welcome.
