Places to stay in Coalbrookdale

Places to stay in Coalbrookdale
Set in a quiet south facing position within the Ironbridge Gorge, the comfortable room in our 1860's house has a countryside feel whilst being within walking distance of local restaurants and some of the many museum sites. Ironbridge is a historical village set in a steep sided valley with narrow roads, we are situated at the top, and are an easy 12 minute drive to conference venues in Telford Town Centre. Enjoy our home-baking and great garden.
Quiet part of town. A bright bedroom with original Coalbrookdale fireplace that comfortably fits 2 and, with a squeeze, a baby's travel cot. We can adapt room to double or 2 single beds. Contains desk and wifi. Spacious underfloor heated shower room with toilet and basin. Fabulous views of the area from our enchanting garden in which guests are free to wander and use as they wish. Breakfast is included in the price with a choice of home-baked bread and jam, our own fruit, porridge, oh and eggs if our hens have laid!
Ironbridge is where much of the world as we know it began and walking through its narrow streets past old houses and over the iron bridge itself you can feel its history. We see and hear none of the noise or sights of modern Telford, however its handy to have near by its urban conveniences of cinema and supermarkets. There is lots for visitors to do in the immediate area, also within a 20 mile radius: walking the Shropshire hills at the Long Mynd; the Severn Valley railway; wander the market towns of Bridgnorth and Shrewsbury, National Trust properties.

  • We had a great time. This is a private room inside a house with a private bathroom. There is everyrhing you need for fast meals (a microwave, a fridge, plates, mugs,...) inside the room but you don't have access to the kitchen wich was fine because we didn't need it. The room is really lovely and clean and the bathroom is perfect. Would recommand.

    The area is perfect for a family holiday, or a long weekend away with friends. Located just opposite Dale End Park, across the road from a supermarket, and just a gentle stroll besides the River Severn to the bars and restaurants.
    Furnished to a high standard, the house benefits from a well-equipped kitchen, comfy couches, and we put duvets on our SilentNight beds. We like our guests to feel comfortable when they're here and so the property will have been professionally cleaned and you'll find fresh towels on the beds. Ironbridge is on the doorstep of the Shropshire Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The area isn't too large to explore by car, in a weekend; or if you're keen on walking, take the week. Ironbridge is also close to Telford with regular buses from the car park around the corner. The house is within a few minutes from a well-stocked Cooperative Supermarket, Dale End Park, The Malthouse (live music on the weekends, (typically indie rock)), and The White Hart, which serves great food, wine and beer. The amenities of Telford has improved greatly over the last few years and now benefits from all of the chain restaurants, many shops, and a selection of high-specification cinemas.
    Dale End Park is very well maintained by the local council. There's plenty of space for everyone and there's a great play area for kids. It's so good it makes me want to be a little younger than I am!

    The house is a lovely 1940's semi detached three bed house. It is located within 3 miles from Ironbridge and 3 1/2 miles from Telford International Centre and Telford Town Centre. We have a drive available for parking. There is a bus route just outside the property. The room also includes a TV with Sky which has more a less all channels available ! It is our family house with our gorgeous 8 month baby girl. We can't guarantee no crying will be heard but so far so good!
    It is a lovely quiet and friendly area. There are lovely walks around Horsehay Pools as well as Little Wenlock.

    Very large room in converted Grade 2 Listed chapel dating back to 1760. Free parking, bathroom, flat screen TV, free WiFi, tea and coffee and self-catering facilities in room. Flexible check ins. Gorgeous location on a nature reserve, between Ironbridge & Telford (2.5 miles to centre of each). 8 mins to International Centre (IC). Ideal stopover. This is an allocation on arrival discounted rate listing. Breakfast and evening meal upgrades available. No additional weekend or cleaning fees!
    Renovated chapel and small holding situated down an idyllic, rural gravel lane but around 2 miles from Telford town centre, Ironbridge, local hospitals, business parks, the IC (Telford International Centre), Lilleshall sports Centre and the M54 and M6. This room is on the private top floor. We live downstairs and have a communal front door. We offer this listing at a discounted rate so guests booking this listing will be accommodated in one of three rooms, allocated on arrival. All our three rooms have received excellent Airbnb reviews. If you have any queries on this please ask. For an additional £3.50 per person a breakfast package can be provided in your room should a guest request this before arrival. Late evening arrivals can book a hearty home cooked evening meal for an extra £10 to ensure a warm and restful welcome. We can add beds to this double room for family groups, depending on which room is available. Pairs of guests wanting to add extra beds to a double room may add one for a charge of £6 to cover the additional laundry and room prep, and the use of a bed from another room. Larger groups bookings are ideal for large families. We would of course ask groups of adults to book a second room as we want all our guests to enjoy a five star experience with us and you may not get this if you choose to accommodate four or more adults into one bedroom. We usually have other rooms available and it is a nominal amount to add one to this booking. The rooms have beautiful woodland views and our guests have use of a large fully equipped bathroom that we the host family won't use when we have guests booked in. Free parking is available in a private layby next to our house or safely further up our little lane where we park our own vehicles. The property location ensures peace and quiet with no passing traffic. Free Wi-Fi is available as is a paid laundry service. Our dogs never go upstairs.
    Chapel House is located down a beautiful, historic, semi rural, no through gravel lane with no passing traffic. It is built upon a nature reserve and offers lovely woodland walks and views. We are just 6-8 minutes drive from both Telford and Ironbridge centre.
  • Lovely lady. I literally checked in then had an emergency so couldn't stay the night but from what I saw it was very nice. Laura was very welcoming and the house is pretty

  • Had a absolutely amazing stay . Such a thoughtful host and so helpful. House was beautiful and very comfortable. Could not recommend high enough.

    Dan2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Telford Chapel is an ideal base from which to explore the area, being just minutes from the Ironbridge Gorge attractions. The host, Laura was quick to respond to my questions and able to accommodate my change to our initially agreed on arrival time. I found parking in the layby up the street from Telford Chapel most convenient with just a short walk to the house. Laura met me at the door and offered to upgrade me to the en-suite room which I found cozy and comfortable. It had more than enough amenities for my needs. The house was quiet, the mattress just perfect for me, and the duvet comfortably toasty; all the perfect ingredients for restful sleeping. Telford Chapel felt like my home away from home. Pro tip: on the walk from the layby to the house, slow down and cast your gaze to the heaven's above, the sky was clear and the stars brilliant. I would certainly stay at Telford Chapel again.

  • Easy stay. Laura is a great host. Thanks for the biscuits!

  • This place is a wonderful example of the beauty of using AIRBNB. I felt instantly at home, Laura is delightful and very welcoming. I got a real sense that I was in a wonderful, happy, family home with a rural feel to it... heard the pigs outside when I came through the gate which was lovely. Amazing building with many original features. Room was big and spacious and exactly as Laura had described it. Fantastic value for money. I will definitely be coming back here and look forward to meeting the children next time! As a single traveller with a grown up family, sometimes on the road with work, this place was perfect. Thank you xx

Sparklingly clean, sumptuously comfortable beds, great kitchen and a cosy fire to enjoy - it ticks every box. Yvonne was extremely helpful at every stage. Can't recommend Yvonne and Penny Black Cottage more highly. It's a treat in every sense of the word in a stunning part of the country. I will be back! Many many thanks.

    We have a small double room to offer guests the perfect stay, with a coffee machine, small fridge and microwave in the room. Whether you're here for business or pleasure, we are centrally located and walking distance to the town centre and International centre. We are only a short bike/car ride from Ironbridge, with a great connection to the motorway links, public transport and Weston park for V festival. The room comes complete with towels and toiletries.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *****IMPORTANT**** We DO NOT accept bookings on behalf of someone else. If anyone other than the air bnb account holder arrives, they will be turned away. This is our HOME and the reason we set security parameters with air bnb. If you are booking on behalf of a business, please let us know in advance. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We live at the end of a cul-de-sac in a very quiet residential area. The house was built in the 1970s and has been modernised throughout. It has a large front, side and rear garden, for guests to enjoy the quiet green space, with a book on the decking. The room is small in size and has a very cosy feel. It is decorated to a theme of celebrating the hollywood sirens, mixed with a shabby chic vibe. **** The Bed**** The bed is a standard UK double bed complete with pocket sprung mattress and memory foam overlay - it is unbelievably comfy! It is supplemented with 2 contoured memory foam pillows and 2 luxurious, quality Dorma "full forever" pillows, plus several bolster / decorative cushions. The duvet is by Fogarty and is 12 togs (3 tog in summer) of anti-allergen duck down bliss. The pillows and mattress have washable protectors changed between every guest for hygiene. ****The room facilities**** The room also has a small fridge, which is suitable to store drinks/ wine or small food items. The fridge is switched off until you require to use it. We have also put a small microwave in there for those guests who prefer to eat a store bought meal and heat it up. It benefits from a tv/dvd player with a Now Tv box allowing you to watch catch up and on demand channel's. We have also included a selection of DVD's in the room too. We also provide a selection of quality branded toiletries (in the Marilyn Monroe box) Bath sheets and guest robes as well as an extensive hot drink selection. ****The bathroom**** The bathroom has been completely refurbished in May 2018. It is complete with modern L shape bath with rainfall shower. The toilet and sink are also L shape with the toilet having a hidden cistern. The bathroom is tiled from floor to ceiling and is finished off with 9 ceiling spotlights. It has an intentional industrial feel to it. **** The dogs....**** As listed we have 2 very friendly dogs - Mavis the pug and Hughie-bear our yorkie. They wont bother you during your stay unless you want to see them as they do not go upstairs - in which case you will have a friend for life as they love nothing more than a good fuss! ****Parking...**** There is plenty of on road parking at the side of the house on Abbey fields, all we ask is you park considerately for our neighbors. And finally..... We are happy to let our guests have complimentary use of our traditional wicker picnic basket, it is set up for 4, but we find it serves 2 best. If you would like to use this, please let me know in advance so I can make it available to you; then all you have to do is fill it with food and wine! Also if you are going to a festival, I provide guests with a complimentary "survival kit" which includes many items that can fit in your bag/pockets
    We are located in a quiet residential area, which is walking distance into the town centre or only a short bus ride away. Telford town park ia also walking distance and the beautiful Silkin way can be found here which is great for scenic bike rides or walkers. The nearest train station is only a couple of miles away and normally costs around £4-5 in a taxi. We are also only 15 miles away from Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton by train/car, and only 40 minutes by train from Birmingham city centre
  • Would definitely stay again
  • Corrina & Nathan's home is really nice, and really comfortable. I loved the stay in room because it was so cosy. I tucked myself away and rested (which is what I really needed). My Airbnb booking was primarily to attend a conference in town, but coming from the hustle and bustle of London, Corrina & Nathan's home is a short distance from town (walking distance, number 4 bus, or a taxi etc), so it's lovely and peaceful where they live. There is surrounding countryside, and you can choose between all of the shops and activities, or visiting a farm, or other local places out of town. My room had thoughtful and considerate touches. Everything that you need, thank you both, kind regards, Belinda
  • A quiet, simple, spartan room just off the family living space is hosted by a young family in an established part of Telford. A fast 10 minute walk will put you at the International Center or the main shopping and dinning area just north of the International Center. There’s good WiFi and Ralph the small white terrier is always happy to see you. Your SatNav or Google maps will get you close to their place. But you will need to follow the door numbers down to the far end of the row to find their unit. Let them know when you’re close and they can turn the lights on.
  • Perfect hideaway from the grind. Laura is unflappable (despite my turning up hours earlier than initially arranged and with a boat!) and unfailingly hospitable and the room was thoughtfully and impeccably prepared. Excellent location for Telford centre and I got to Ironbridge for dinner in just a couple of minutes. Cannot fault.
  • Enormous room with everything you could possibly need for a stay away from home. Laura has thought of everything and the room is generously stacked with amenities to help make a stay easy and comfortable. Spotless and well presented, very stylish space. Nice and quiet place, wonderfully scenic location just a few minutes from Telford town centre. I can't imagine how an Airbnb could improve on this place unless an awful lot more money was spent on a stay! Outstanding value for money. Thanks Laura!
    Quirky 1760 chapel resting in the heart of Shropshire. 6 mins to Ironbridge & Telford. Warm welcome, large peaceful room with private ENSUITE bathroom, wifi, TV, self catering equipment and open countryside views. History & Character guaranteed. Enjoy a beautiful country haven & relax.
    Our lovely old house is oozing with history and has many original Chapel features, sitting within our small holding, in the centre of a picturesque rural lane on a nature reserve. This room is on the private top floor. We live downstairs and have a communal front door. Your large room has a standard double bed with luxury down duvet and pillows (non-down available on request). We have recently installed beautiful ensuite facilities for this room. There will be a welcome tray in your bedroom for your convenience with an array of teas and coffee and biscuits on offer as well as a welcome pack, TV, comfortable sofa, hairdryer and other travel necessities. We also provide a 45 litre refrigerator, toaster, microwave, kettle and cutlery and crockery items so guests can simply self cater. We ask that you keep things clean and tidy up as you would at home! We are happy to prepare the room for anything up to four family members although it's standard decor is a double. We can add a fold up bed for one extra guest. If you book for four in total the two extra beds will be airbeds due to space restrictions. This will of course impact on the space available but it enables a family to be accommodated in one room together. It is a budget choice when booked for four of course. Please be clear on this. We have larger rooms which accommodate four easily but they are not ensuite. The sofa will be removed for bookings for four guests. For a more spacious group booking; we have two additional rooms we book out, and can provide beds for up to fourteen guests. We have three local pubs and a grocery shop in walking distance. Our home is unique in that it appears to be quite rural and yet is just 5-10 minutes from the M54 and Telford and the International Centre itself, as well as only a mile or so from Ironbridge, Ironbridge Gorge and the museums and world heritage sites there. We have no over looking neighbours and the area is beautifully quiet. For most of the year you will be awoken by bird song in the mornings. Free parking is available in a private layby next to our house or safely further up our little lane where we park our own vehicles.
    The best thing about our neighbourhood is its idyllic setting and historical value. The houses are all different and have sprung up over several centuries. It is a pretty place to be. We live on a quiet no through lane which looks out onto woodland with stunning countryside views. Our hamlet is rural and quaint with every house on our lane a hodge podge of local history spanning some 450 years.
    CORONOVIRUS UPDATE: We want all our guests to have a safe stay at Carpenters Row, therefore we are implementing a 72 hour quarantine period for the cottage between all bookings. We will also be ensuring that our usual high quality cleaning includes sanitising of all surfaces. Please get in touch if you have any queries. Thank you.
    Carpenters Row Cottage dates back to 1783 and is a Grade 2 listed building, part of the fascinating history of the Ironbridge Gorge. The cottage is comfortable and spacious. It sleeps 4 guests in two bedrooms, plus a further 2 guests on a well sprung sofa bed. The location is great for visiting the famous Ironbridge Museums, walking, cycling and sampling the many local pubs, restaurants and cafes. The Cottage is also an excellent base for exploring further afield in Shropshire and beyond.The space is flexible, practical and comfortable. The master bedroom has a lovely antique double bed and an en-suite bathroom. The twin room has two single beds which can be zipped together to create one super-king sized bed, so whether you are two couples or a family you will be well catered for. The double sofa bed in the open plan dining / living room provides yet more flexibility. Dogs We do allow responsible dog owners to bring their pets, but would ask that you restrict them to the downstairs open plan area using the child gates provided and do not allow them on the furniture. History of the property. Carpenters Row is an early example of accommodation built specifically by the Coalbrookdale Company to attract a workforce to its employment. The row originally consisted of eight cottages and two brew houses. The design of the row was symmetrical: numbers 1-5 were mirror images of numbers 6-10. Each house accommodated the workforce using a system of 'hot bedding', workers from one shift occupying the straw mattress beds from the other, approximately 15 persons per house. So at one point in history the three converted houses that you will be staying in would have once housed around 45 workers. Each house also performed a certain function: the brew-house, which is now the kitchen, housed the old cast iron pot which can now be found in the rear garden.
    Carpenters Row Holiday Cottage is just a stones throw away from the Ironbridge Gorge Museum of Iron and Enginuity ( an interactive science and engineering muserum for children of all ages). The closest pub is just a few minutes walk and the area has lots of cycle routes and many lovely woodland walks starting from the doorstep of the cottage. The Museums use a passport ticket system, which on their website says.... ''The Annual Passport Ticket represents fantastic value. It allows unlimited daytime admission to all 10 Ironbridge Gorge Museums, during normal opening hours, so you can return as often as you like for one year. If after 12 months you have still not visited particular sites, you can return at any time in the future to make one free visit to the sites that you've missed'' Within walking distance of the cottage there are a wide range of pubs, cafes and restaurants in the Ironbridge Gorge area. The area also offers opportunities to fish, canoe, golf or visit the Greenwood Trust and learn traditional crafts such as making a coracle or a wicker basket. Exploring the wider area : Shrewsbury is 16 miles away (historic town centre with many independent shops and original timber framed buildings) The Wrekin hill is 5 miles Much Wenlock 6 miles (wonderful Priory and authentic ancient town centre) Church Stretton and the Long Mynd 26 miles (interesting shops and the starting point for walks in the South Shropshire hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) Ludlow 26 miles (beautiful ancient buildings, castle and known for being a 'foodie' mecca. See our airbnb guidebook for our recommendations. We think our cottage is perfect for a long weekend, a short midweek visit or a great base for a longer stay. We hope that you come to visit again to take full advantage of everything Shropshire has to offer.
  • We booked our stay last minute and from the first email sent, communication was friendly, clear and concise. Information about checking in was comprehensive and directions easy to follow. On arrival we found a gorgeous and stylish cottage with plenty of comfy home touches and coordinating decor, the wood burning stove made for homely cosey evenings in especially from the floods and rain we encountered but this didnt hinder our plans! The cottage has everything you want and need, it is so spacious and it was a super bonus that our dogs could join us too. Our son loved the giant bean bag and the local lino print and art works in the frames were beautiful. The cottage is in the perfect location for exploring the area, Enginuity and The Museum of Iron are just on your doorstep within a 5 minute walk. There you will also find the Darby houses and Furnace Kitchen, each worth visiting with the Museum Passport - well worth the money. Other attractions in the area we visited were the Jackfield Tile Museum and the Blists Hill Victorian Village, the village sells a broad range of goods from the shops and replica stalls complete with actors in character and again, dog friendly. All of the attractions were engaging with great staff. Overall, Carpenter's Cottages was a fantastic base, lots of walks from the door with or without dogs, plenty of attractions, lovely local shops, cafes and spectacular sights such as the Iron Bridge super close by. Great hosts as well with a touching greeting card on arrival complete with delicious chocolates, treats and drinks. The en suite was a welcome touch and the shower is wonderful, the wi-fi was steady for us and the board game collection was a nice touch for entertaining our son. We can not wait to return in the summer time to explore even more that this lovely place has to offer and will without a doubt book this same cottage again.
    The house is only ten years old and faces beautiful scenery near to the Wrekin. The entire second floor is at the guests disposal and includes a dressing room, en-suite and King Size bedroom. Plenty of parking in an extremely quiet cul-de-sac. Continental breakfast is included, as is use of laundry facilities. Only 3 miles from the historic Ironbridge, Telford International Conference centre, also with the Princes Royal Hospital and Oakengates theatre even closer.
    Newly decorated and all new fittings.
    Apparently the wild deer are frequent visitors, however, I've only seen them once.
    The Old Coach House is a detached annex of our Georgian property and overlooks the much loved Memorial Gardens in the centre of Broseley. Recently renovated to a high, modern standard with a relaxed and tranquil atmosphere, The Old Coach House is an excellent base to explore long country walks among ancient woodland, discover what Ironbridge Gorge has to offer with its 7 museums and attractions, or step things up a gear cycling and canoeing along the river Severn.
    The accommodation comprises of a large double bedroom, open plan living area with compact sofa bed, kitchen, dining and lounge area and a separate shower room. An excellent base to explore. Situated overlooking the world famous Ironbridge Gorge, Broseley is an early industrial town and home to one of the seven fascinating Ironbridge Gorge museums. Take a stroll through 'The Jitties' of Broseley Wood and find the picturesque town of Ironbridge unfold before you. After your adventures you can leave the hustle and bustle of the tourist trail behind you to taste real Shropshire life in the many traditional pubs, cafes and restaurants on your doorstep in Broseley. The property is situated set back off the main high street and overlooks the beautiful towns memorial gardens.
    Broseley has strong links with the early industrial revolution. By the beginning of the 17th Century it was a thriving industrial settlement having close links with Coalbrookdale, on the other side of the River Severn. In the 18th and 19th centuries it developed into a major centre for coal mining, iron manufacture, earthenware manufacture and a variety of associated activities. The famous Iron Bridge was built in 1779 to link Broseley with Coalbrookdale and led to the foundation of the town of Ironbridge which is now part of a World Heritage Site. This early industrial activity has resulted in a settlement of remarkable character. The architecture is a mixture of three centuries of building styles in a hilly and wooded setting mixed together in a delightfully haphazard manner. Dates for the diary Ironbridge Walking Festival http://www.ironbridgewalking.co.uk/ The team behind the hugely popular annual Ironbridge Gorge Walking Festival have launched their long-walks programme for the 2019 festival. The event, running from 4 - 12 May, is offering more than 50 FREE walks over nine days, making it probably the biggest in the West Midlands and one of the best in the country. The festival offers a number of ‘themed’ walks ranging from two to 21 miles covering a whole host of topics from the wonderful landscape and geology of the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site to the wildlife that inhabits The Gorge’s ancient woodlands Broseley Festival https://www.broseleyfestival1.co.uk/ Broseley festival is a free 2-day music event held here in Broseley. The High Street is closed off from traffic with the mainstage situated at the very top of the high street and a smaller more family orientated stage situated in the Memorial Gardens directly in front of the property plus the opportunity to visit the funfair. Usually held on the 3rd week end in June..please be mindful that we overlook The Memorial Stage, so it's a little noisier that weekend!
  • We loved our weekend stay in this cosy air bnb. It's very clean and stylish with thoughtful touches like bread and milk on arrival. Broseley town has everything you need for a couple of days and there are plenty of walks and sights nearby.
  • Great location, beautiful coach house, really welcoming, would highly recommend
    Sharon2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • A really cosy little place offering good value. The sofa bed is a bit small for 2 children but there is a futon mattress which worked well for us. The bedroom is really comfortable and relaxing. Terry was really friendly and helpful and the bread, milk and beer on arrival was a nice touch. Also all the information regarding things to do and places to eat was very helpful. We really enjoyed exploring the surrounding area which has loads to do especially with kids. We got a years passport worth £70 with our Tesco club points which enabled us to get into all the local museums for free which was a bonus.
  • A cosy and stylish place to stay! Broseley is a charming little village and an ideal base from which to explore the Ironbridge region and has a couple of good restaurants too! The couch house is compact but has everything you need and is very comfortable. Terry and Nina were extremely welcoming hosts. We’d definitely stay here again!
    Katy2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • First class location in Broseley which still boasts independent retailers, cafes and bars. At the head of the valley it’s a total work out for cyclists - the hills into Ironbridge are amazing and once you’ve worked out the short cuts not TOO bad coming back up! Terry was an excellent host and gave me some great local walking tips- the accommodation was first class, clean, well appointed and comfortable - and as a massive bonus for me, as I like cooking, it’s the first Airbnb I’ve stayed at with a proper sharp kitchen prep knife - nice one Terry! I shall, if invited, be staying again. Thank you so much
    The Barn at Lees Farm is Nestled in the centre of the UNESCO World Heritage Site - The Ironbridge Gorge. This rural retreat offers annex accommodation attached to a barn dating from 1830. Fantastic position for Geo-caching, Walking, Mountain Biking and Canoeing. It is very peaceful and relaxing. We are dog friendly, please contact me for charges.
    The Annex has one bedroom with a double bed and a small sofa bed (one adult or two children. Is a double but a cosy one!) in the living area. Travel cot available. Space outside is shared with the main barn, privacy is respected and the garden has separate areas. The hot tub is in an enclosed area - The hot tub is an extra charge of £30 this includes enough wood (I provide kiln dried) to heat the tub for the first heat. It is around 1-2 bags per heat for the next or subsequent days charged at £5 per bag. I can have the hot tub lit ready for your arrival for £60 (if you decide not to use the hot tub you will still need to pay the £60) If you wish to bring your own wood then a charge of £20 will still be made to cover the costs of making the hot tub ready. I use 3-4 bags of kiln dried to ensure 3 hour heat time. The hot tub gets VERY hot and water temp cannot be regulated as it is wood fired. It is a two person hot tub and we don't recommend it for young children. Please do not let children play around the hot tub area. Having the Hot Tub lit ready for you may depend on my availability on the day. PEASE NOTE - IF YOU HAVE REQUESTED THAT THE HOT TUB IS HEATED FOR YOUR ARRIVAL, IT WILL BE AT THE CORRECT TEMP THE ETA /TIME GIVEN/REQUESTED. As is it wood fired it will retain some heat but will not stay warm for hours should you decide not to use it. It will need re-lighting.
    VERY close to Ironbridge. 20 minute drive to Shrewsbury Blists Hill Victorian Town is in walking distance.
  • Amazing! Worth every penny, fantastic space and extremely comfortable
  • We have had the best weekend staying at The Annex celebrating our 2 year anniversary. I booked it last minute as a surprise and Emma went above and beyond, sending me a voucher that I could give to my boyfriend as his present. It’s dog friendly so we brought our little puppy along too who also had the best time. We paid for the hot tub and pizza package and the dough and everything provided was just amazing. We loved it so much & hearing the owls at night was a massive bonus. Thanks Emma, we already can’t wait to come back xx
