Tivoli is a tiny village, friendly & quaint, centrally located between Rhinebeck and Hudson with Germantown and Red Hook along the way. It's one of the Hudson Valley's hidden gems and an easy, 5 minute walk from the Barn. It's an awesome spot to explore the Mid-Hudson Valley - from farms to old mansions, from antiquing to watching cabaret at the Spiegeltent or high-end dance & music performances at the Frank Gehry Performing Arts Center. • The coziest cabin for our late winter stay. Wonderful to deal with Bruna and such a perfect spot for our group of 4. Highly recommend a visit here!!

    Kris2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Bruna & Andrew’s place was beyond amazing. I’m your typical stressed out New Yorker and this barn helped me relax and unwind. It was immaculate. Better than the pictures. Beautifully decorated. Biggest surprise was how comfortable the beds were. I slept better than I have in quite a while. We’re a group of close friends and loved the openness of the space. Just enough privacy for sleeping. Sitting around the cast iron stove drinking wine made our weekend. We enjoyed dinner in the barn the first night and had everything we needed to cook. The town is just up the road (walked there daily) and you’ll find great restaurants and a friendly wine shop. We can’t wait to come back to the barn in Tivoli so we can enjoy the outdoor fire pit and shower. We didn’t want to leave. Thank you for everything!

    Heather2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • My 4 year old daughters review Tivoli has the cutest pillow in the universe. It also has the most fun swinging chairs and a wonderful piano (piano hats included). The loft has an incredible vantage point. Thank you Tivoli, don't forget ravioli.

  • Exceeded expectations! Bruna and Andrew have done a fantastic job with the Barn. They made our stay so simple and worthwile. Bruna was extremely responsive. Really we were impressed ! Thanks again

    Xavier2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing as always. This was my second time at the barn. I was here in the fall and after knew I had to plan a girls weekend up here in the winter. Great quiet location away from the hustle and bustle. Worth the trip!

    Charlotte2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Beautifully appointed barn, lots of nice details both decorative & functional, comfortable beds. We stayed in the winter, so did not make use of any of the outdoor features of the property. We hiked, we cooked, we lit a fire, we played the slightly wonky piano, we lounged; all in all, a lovely getaway. One thing to keep in mind, whether it was because of the time of year, or mid-week, or both, several of the businesses in town were closed - information that wasn't reflected on the web. Thanks, Bruna & Andrew, we hope to come back in the warm season!

    Rina2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • The barn was everything we hoped it would be. A beautiful space to get away for the weekend! The wood burning stove kept us warm and cozy! Easy walk into town. Double check if school is in session. Some of the bars/restaurants were closed for January.

    Rachel2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Bruna & Andrew’s home is filled with warmth and every detail is intentional and beautiful. We had an amazing three nights at their home and would recommend it to anyone looking for an escape from the city.

  • Laura was so nice. The space is gorgeous. It’s a perfect place to restore and relax. The goats were so cute and so was the land. Thank you so much Laura. If you’re thinking about this place, BOOK IT!

    Youmie2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • Wish we could have stayed longer but we will definitely be back! Laura is such a great host and we had such a relaxing trip. The propane stove was so nice for the cold weather and it was perfect for a romantic weekend!

    Heather2019-11-05T00:00:00Z
  • My girlfriend and I had an absolutely magical stay on Laura’s property. If you’re looking for an easy, unique, and fun escape from city life, this is your place. We can’t wait to visit again.

    Josh2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • Laura's property is a charming, relaxing place. We enjoyed our stay at the Stargazer, tucked between the trees. There is lots to explore on the property - for us, the highlight was befriending the goats. Laura is a welcoming, thoughtful host. Loved the weekend getaway and look forward to the next one!

    Andreea2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • It was the perfect space to spend the weekend and to get away from the city. Recharge in the quiet and enjoy the land that is Gather Wild! Laura was amazing and very responsive and helpful with tips around town and everything. My dog loved it too. It was everything I had hoped for.

    Christine2019-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • It was such a great experience. The best Airbnb couple ever ! We only stayed one night and wished we could’ve stayed for a week ! We will definitely be back again for summer time and will stay much longer !

    Georgeann2019-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • This little “glamping” experience is so unique and fun! Gatherwild takes all the guess work out of camping for those who are inexperienced. My suburban self and city slicker boyfriend were able to start a fire with ease with the use of the fire pit, wood pile and cardboard pieces left for our use. The grounds and our site “The Stargazer” was spotless, chic and full of style! It was the perfect fall romantic getaway. I especially loved the goofy goats on the property that followed me to and from the outdoor potty. The potty by the way was super clean and cute! I can’t recommend this spot enough.

    Jill2019-10-14T00:00:00Z

Settle in to this centuries-old farmhouse, which has been tastefully restored with timeless, classic style. Spreading out from your doorstep are 70 acres of organic fields that are yours to wander, as you pick flowers and ingredients for dinner or pay a visit to the farm animals.
This 1820's farmhouse has been recently renovated but retains its rustic charm. A 150-year-old maple tree shades the front yard, and the backyard extends back directly to the farm's gardens, where you can pick flowers and herbs. Cook up a meal with farm-fresh veggies, eggs and pork available from our farm store.
Farm-fresh produce is available on-site, and Clermont’s winery, distillery, and cafe are a walk away. Discover the Hudson Valley’s rich culture and bounty from this peaceful base, 15 minutes from Hudson and 10 minutes from Tivoli and Bard College.
  • The house was super cozy, heat worked very well, kitchen was well-outfitted. Nice little selection of kids toys and books!

    Amy2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Ben and Lindsay were fantastic hosts! They were incredibly responsive to any questions and even walked over a bottle of wine on a night we were snowed in. The place was super cozy and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook delicious meals the entire weekend. We hope to make another visit with friends this summer! Highly recommend.

    Elana2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely few days at Ben & Lindsey’s house. It was cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed. They were excellent hosts, easy to communicate with and we really appreciated the fresh vegetables!

    Lynne2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • SUCH an amazing weekend at a totally charming home. Thanks Lindsey and Ben for being amazing hosts.

  • Nice place!

    Julian2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • We just got back from our farm stay here and we are feeling so refreshed! The home is clearly an old farmhouse yet comfortable and had all we need (especially kids stuff!!). The best part for us by far was the location on a farm - we spent mornings outside sipping coffee while watching the butterflies in the garden, or the pigs in the orchard. We found there was surprisingly a lot to do within 10 minutes of the place & most places are kid friendly. Our hosts were kind, had great suggestions, and made us feel welcome. Oh and the fresh organic veggies were delicious too (& complimentary!). I already want to go back!

    Kate2019-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at Hearty Roots farm. Our kids loved picking tomatoes and flowers and visiting the chickens and pigs. There were veggies and melons waiting for us in the fridge - and they were delicious. The house is sweet and simple, with plenty of space, super clean, and central air. Everything we needed (toys, coffee maker, high chair!) was already there. The location is easy for quick drives to the restaurants in Germantown or Tivoli. It suited us perfectly.

Adorable cabin made by artist Paul Jacobsen snuggles in a queen bed and sits in the valley of a former apple orchard at Gatherwild Ranch. Not quite a tiny home, the bathrooms and kitchen are shared amenities on the property, it's a private space with just what you need. Solar lights glow inside in the evening, and the stargazing here is spectacular! Placed on 15 acres of land to roam. Pets are welcome (See below for details).
Cozy cabin is hand built and gets lots of sunlight, but is protected and has enough space for the basics. There is a small wash basin inside, drinking water, and deck chairs with a firepit outside. The queen bed has a down comforter and extra wool blankets for cool nights.

  • Laura’s property is absolutely gorgeous !

    Alana2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • A thoughtful space with gorgeous views. Breweries, wineries, and hiking all a short drive away. The goats are adorable and the hosts are equal parts available to help and hands off enough to give you space to explore on your own. If you're visiting in the colder months, bring lots of layers and keep the wood stove HOT. Don't sleep on local favorites like Gaskins and Chatham winery. If you're looking for a good easy hike with great views, check out Kaaterskill. If you're looking for a more challenging hike, Indian Head is awesome.

    Tyler2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • Great hide out away from the city!

    Boerge2019-11-05T00:00:00Z
  • The property is gorgeous and I never wanted to leave. Got to feed the goats in the morning, take a walk around the sites, and listen to all the animals around at night. My boyfriend and I will be booking another trip back in the near future!

    Casey2019-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • The entire Gatherwild Ranch is a beautiful place in a lovely area. Laura was a wonderful host and I would definitely recommend staying in any of the accommodations on the property.

    Eli2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • The Gypsy caravan made for a unique, stunning getaway. Warm (we stayed just as fall chill had come) comfortable, and beautiful, the space has everything you need to experience the solitude and peace of camping with the comfort of home. The two trees out front offer privacy and a perfect spot for your hammock. The open air kitchen offered a great space and supplies for coffee and meals, and the ranch itself was so fun to explore. Laura checked in on us and was a delight to get to know. Germantown is peaceful but also offers great breweries, Gaskins restaurant, and Otto’s market, for all your needs. We will definitely be returning!

    Emily2019-10-11T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful location close to several breweries, wineries, and farms. We stayed in the Gypsy Caravan which was adorable as well as surprisingly comfortable and clean. The outdoor kitchen area was perfect for easy meals. We can't wait to come back.

    Jillian2019-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • My partner and I stayed here when we had a wedding to attend in Tivoli and we absolutely loved it! Such a beautiful setting and the gypsy caravan was so cozy and romantic. The only thing I’d say is it was a lot colder than we expected for the first weekend in October (in the 30s at night) so as there’s no heat (save for a log furnace which saved us) I would probably come back again in the warmer months. Besides that we loved everything, especially the outdoor kitchen and the baby goats! We’ll be back!

    Maria2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • This was our first Airbnb stay and it was a good experience. The size of the farmhouse was perfect for my family. We were traveling to attend funeral services. Being in a house together vs crammed in a hotel room made everyone comfortable and able to get ready and prepared much easier. Thank you for a great stay.

    Tammra2020-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • Chris's and Jennifer's place was perfect for our little getaway. Thoughtful touches throughout the house to ensure both humans and dogs enjoyed their time - booklet with local tips, games, extra blankets. Furnishings were cozy, the kitchen was well appointed. The bustling distillery tasting room is so convenient... right behind the house and had delicious cocktails, light bites and a very nice staff. Hope to be back another time!

    Glenda2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Chris and Jen’s house was perfect for a getaway. It’s very spacious, beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked for cooking, and the distillery right across the driveway was so nice to visit for a tasting and tour! Loved that the whole place was very dog friendly too!

    Colleen2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • Chris and Jennifer’s place was AMAZING! Hosted my wedding at the distillery and they really went above and beyond — the house itself is spacious, clean and very cozy !! Loved every minute of our trip!

    Jennifer And Mel2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • House was more spacious than it looks in the pictures. Great value for a 4 bedroom place. The distillery being feet away is just an added bonus.

    Alex2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • This house is a gem - everything about our experience was better than we could have hoped. The house worked great to host 13 people on Thanksgiving, with a kitchen fully stocked, a living room comfortable to rest in and 4 bedrooms that were more than comfortable. Overall, I can not recommend more!

    Chris2019-11-30T00:00:00Z
  • Chris' place was the perfect spot for our get-away. The house was clean and in great condition. The distillery was awesome to have just a few steps away. I'd highly recommend this place.

  • Liz was very welcoming and gave me a tour of everything as I arrived. Also provided some tips on where to eat in town. Nice, quiet stay!

  • Great host, clean place

    Hoda2019-10-05T00:00:00Z
  • Liz greeted us with a warm and welcoming smile. The room is quite spacious and comfortable, they had us set up with tea/coffee and an electric kettle which was a nice touch. We slept really well in the comfortable bed surrounded by peace and quiet. would recommend this place for anyone wanting to get away from the city and enjoy the sweet town of Red Hook.

  • Perfect place for a visit to Bard College! Walter was a great host. The space was very private.

  • This is a very nice large room - quiet, comfortable and welcoming.

    Carol2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful and hospitable hosts Walter and Liz offer a spacious, clean, welcoming, comfortable room with nice cross ventilation on the second floor of a 2-story house on a large, beautiful property. The room has a double bed *and* a single bed and many thoughtful touches like boxes of tissues next to beds and a table with a hotpot, tea, mugs, water glasses, a little dish containing Kind Bars, and a basket with brochures with local information. Walter and Liz personally offered info on local area, too, and were friendly and interesting to talk to. The room has plenty of lamps, including one in a cozy reading corner with an armchair and bookcase chock full of interesting books. Closet had plenty of room for hanging clothing, as well as hangers, a fan, and and ironing board and iron. Bathroom was in hall between our room and the other airbnb room, but no one was in that room during our stay. Bathroom was sparkling clean and had plenty of soap towels, and shampoo. Overall an incredibly nice stay in a great location with terrific hosts. I highly recommend it and will definitely stay there when I visit the area again.

    Rona2019-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • Walter's place is amazingly spacious, clean and comfortable. It was as quiet as can be and he gave us clear directions to find it. I highly recommend it and hope to return soon!

This is our 7th and newest accommodation in a collection of unique handbuilt structures. Artist designed and constructed, this modern and reclaimed barnwood A frame is cozy and invites you to hang in bed and gaze out the scenic windows, or get out and explore the 15 acre former apple orchard. It offers a queen bed, with fresh linens, towels, clean drinking water, and a few special details. Solar lights glow inside in the evening, and the stargazing here is spectacular!
Please note that there is no electricity or running water in the A frame. We light the area with solar lighting and battery lanterns. We feature composting toilets close by (clean, cute and not smelly!), a solar shower in warmer months, a full bathroom with hot shower inside our main farmhouse available 8 am - 9 pm, as well as running cold tap water in the outdoor kitchen . You are free to roam the acres. There are several barns on the property, a wood workshop, several gathering areas with picnic tables, and a large garden. In the later part of the summer we will have food to offer from the garden. The outdoor kitchen is protected and can be used in sun or rain, it contains all of the cooking utensils, pots and pans, dishes, lighting, a small shared fridge, propane stove, charcoal grill and 2 shared outlets for charging devices. There are cruiser bikes to borrow (they can get to the market and back but are not good for long distance) You're welcome to come to the farmhouse with any questions, please access through the front door on the front porch. All accommodations are weather proof. Usually more fun in the sun, but rain gives reason to sip wine in the outdoor kitchen looking out or snuggle inside. We welcome dogs for an additional $20 non-refundable pet deposit, payable by cash or Venmo (laura-sink). Please be mindful of cleanliness of dogs on the linens and carpets. Any damage above normal laundering will be charged in addition.
Germantown has 1 amazing market named Otto's where you can purchase all the necessities. 1 amazing restaurant named Gaskins with farm-fresh food and great cocktails. 1 liquor store & main street offering a couple of shops to peruse. 20 minutes to Hudson (all the restaurants & shopping you could desire) 20 minutes to Rhinebeck
  • Laura’s ranch set up is quite dreamy. Crumby rainy weather aside, my partner and I were still able to enjoy the beautiful nature within. The communal vibe that they curated is pretty amazing, and had has wanting to come back in the warmer months. It also got us thinking about how amazing it would be if there we traveled back out there with a group of friends since there are other converted spots to occupy. We highly recommend the ranch. And especially recommend for others to buddy up and make it a group outing!

    Joseph2019-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • Gatherwild Ranch was an amazing experience. We stayed in the A-frame during our stay and really enjoyed it. Despite us coming during a cold weekend they had the propane stove setup to keep us warm along with many blankets. It’s a great experience if you’re looking to try something different. The ranch is well thought out with it’s setup and all the different amenities it offers. The hosts are friendly and very responsive. We enjoyed our stay here. Plus, they have the friendliest goats and you can’t lose with goats involved 😁

    Jonathan2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • I can't recommend Gatherwild Ranch enough. We spent a lovely fall weekend in the A frame and absolutely loved it. It was bigger than we expected, with a super comfy bed and plenty of blankets. The cabin came complete with a wine opener, cups, and even a little water dispenser and bowl, so you don't need to go outside to brush your teeth. The property is idyllic and is equipped with everything you need, from the charming outdoor kitchen to the (surprisingly pleasant) composting potties. Guests have access to a beautiful big bathroom in the main house, which we really appreciated, as it was a little too chilly for us to brave the outdoor showers! Gatherwild has a cozy little community vibe, but also caters to those who prefer privacy. Accommodations are spread out across the ranch, and each has its own firepit – or you can hang out by the shared firepit if that's more your speed. Laura was a friendly and gracious host who came out to greet us when we arrived – as did her goats, who are major sweeties! We're big Gatherwild fans and will definitely be back.

Hudson is also a driveable distance away and we can give directions and suggestions to some great places.
  • One of the most amazing spaces we’ve ever seen: a cross between a treehouse and a ship’s cabin, but more spacious and comfortable. We wish it had been warmer outside so we could have enjoyed the balcony, but we loved the kitchen and the comfortable bed.

    Amy2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • We like this place so much, we keep going back!

    K.C.2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Great spot, just as described. Very responsive hosts. House is in a beautiful spot, very quiet and safe. I was staying to visit my daughter at Bard College and the home is very close to Bard. Would highly recommend.

  • Easy check in, very warm hosts with a slightly stocked kitchen for visitors!

    Emily2019-10-31T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lovely spot, close to Bard College. The apartment is clean and comfortable and quirky in a wonderful way. Very peaceful space. I didn't meet Gerald & Sylvia because I got in late and left early, but they were attentive by message and the check in process could not have been easier. Easy parking, comfortable bed, highly functional little kitchen, well-stocked -- what more could you want? I'll certainly stay here again.

    Amy2019-10-26T00:00:00Z
  • Gerald and Silvia's space was so nice. Fit our needs great. Great communication and an added bonus of delicious milk. Very well outfitted.

    Dalis2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • Gerald & Silvia's place is a cozy, funky little studio on an upper floor, entrance in the back. It's very clean and comfortable, with a friendly atmosphere. There's a little bit of noise from the nearby highway on that side, but very quiet at night. Lots of trees around. Very fast internet. Gerald and Silvia were helpful and concerned when we had a medical problem, which was much appreciated.

    Gregory2019-10-17T00:00:00Z
  • My wife and I had a fantastic stay at Gerald and Silvia's place. It's a super warm and cozy space and feels really homey. Check-in was great, and all the amenities were fab.

  • Billy’s place was an excellent choice for our stay in Germantown! It was so close to town, and the recommendation of Gaskins was absolutely on point! The cottage was so warm and cozy on a cold February night, and so wonderfully light filled in the morning. It was so clean, everything had great instructions, and check in/out was a breeze. We are already talking about our next trip up later this summer and can not recommend this place enough.

    Emily2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Billy was remarkably friendly and helpful- like an old friend would be. Adorable little cottage, thoughtfully appointed, down the road from wonderful shops and restaurants. I highly recommend this cozy little place.

  • Billy was the most generous, helpful and friendly host one could ask for. Lovely, cozy little place with a lovely deck - great for one or a couple.

    Charlie2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely fantastic. The place and surrounding’s are really beautiful with a Rustic look but very modern. Perfect for a solo traveller or a couple. Billy and Doug are great people with all the local tips, my favourite Air BnB. Thanks guys

My place is close to natural beauty, great views, world-class art, cosmopolitan culture and gourmet local food. We are right between trendy Hudson, NY and classy Rhinebeck, NY (18 minutes to either). Even closer to Bard College, Tivoli, Red Hook and Germantown. Visit local farms; hike in the Catskills; visit Bash Bish Falls; tour historic Clermont House; gaze at the Hudson River from Poet's Walk; try a local gourmet restaurant; antique and art shop in Hudson; stroll through Rhinebeck; RELAX!
You’ll love my place because of the country location - natural beauty and an undertone of city sophistication. The White Barn itself has high ceilings, minimal furnishings, yet a cozy feel - just a great place to relax.
The barn is on a pretty country road, with an historic house across the street. The property backs up to a working CSA farm called Hearty Roots.
  • The White Barn was great! Great design and comfortable touches like fresh fruit and coffee. Super clean which I love. Located about 10 minutes from Germantown and 20mins south of Hudson. Close to Red Hook and Tivoli as well.

    Wendy2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Great, very spacious, light-filled, minimalist space that's immaculately clean and well set up. Ellen is a very conscientious and responsive host.

  • This place was amazing! Even better than the pictures, easy location to get to Hudson or hike in the Catskills. We really enjoyed our stay.

    Helena2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Ellen's white barn was just what my husband and I wanted for a weekend away. The space was stylish and included several nice touches like fresh flowers throughout the space. The small kitchen area was also stocked with granola and milk, coffee, popcorn, and a few other basics. The barn was a quick drive away from both Hudson and Rhinebeck, where we spent most of our time. Ellen's communication was always prompt and friendly. We would happily stay again!

    Sadye2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • What can I say?! This place was absolutely perfect. I booked for a birthday weekend out from the city. It was such a perfect setting. Check in was smooth and easy as we had to check in a little late and had no issues whatsoever. The guesthouse is furnished with everything you could possible need. The upstairs is STUNNING. The bed is extremely comfy, with the perfect amount of pillows. I had even asked about a fire pit area in the backyard and she set it up just for us when I asked about it. Even put out rocking chairs, just for my boyfriend and I. Such a special touch and it was one of the highlights of the trip- a fire, with smores and the sounds of....well not Brooklyn haha The small kitchen was perfect for us because there were so many good restaurants nearby including Murrays (Tivoli), Lucoli (Red Hook-pizza) and Mercato Osteria Enoteca (Red Hook). Ellen did provide local coffee for our late mornings which was a perfect touch. Thanks again Ellen for everything <3

    Emily2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • This space was heavenly and perfectly appointed - elegant, but cozy. Every detail was thoughtful and beautiful. Ellen was easy to communicate with and gave excellent recommendations.

    Megha2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • The barn is a lovely place. Spacious, thoughtfully appointed, stylish, and sparkling clean. Ellen and her family are excellent hosts. Will definitely be back!

    John2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Such a magical space in the Hudson Valley in a dreamy converted barn. The location is really ideal for quick 20-minute drives to Hudson or Rhinebeck or for very short 5-10 minute drives to Red Hook, Tivoli, and Germantown. But mostly this barn is truly a beautiful conversion, the road is a picturesque country lane, and the surrounding fields and wildlife are sublime. I'd highly recommend this space to any traveler visiting the region. Plus, Ellen is a delightful host and very responsive communicator. Truly a delight.

This breezy and light filled apartment is the perfect spot to crash on your weekend upstate. Tivoli could not be cuter, and it is minutes from Bard College, Kingston, Hudson and Germantown. The apartment is located above our little shop, Winn's, a small boutique with clothing, and home goods. We feature many products that we sell in the shop, in the apartment, so that you can try things out, or enjoy using them just for the night!
One of the most lovely things about being in the middle of Tivoli, is that there is immediate access to some of the most beautiful natural spaces, while being walkable to amazing restaurants and adorable shops. You can walk through the Tivoli bays, or down to the Hudson river for breathtaking views, and you can also walk over to Hotel Tivoli and have an amazing cocktail while looking at an incredible art collection!
Tivoli is a small but bustling town- all of the businesses are on Broadway and are walkable from the apartment. We love Osaka, Santa Fe, and Traghaven pub when we go out with our son (he is 3), as they are very family friendly! For a romantic date, we love The Corner (the restaurant at Hotel Tivoli). In addition to Winn's, we also own the little general store in town, and it has all of the necessities, as well as bread that we bake! Murray's has amazing coffee and brunch, and there is also a cute little used bookstore, a yarn shop, and Tivoli Mercantile, which is a boutique with a gorgeous selection.
  • Last time we were in Tivoli we stayed at the Hotel which is great but this time we needed more space than one room. Natalie and Kazio's place is every bit as stylish and comfortable as the Hotel (and very budget-friendly!). We really appreciated the simple touches like delicious coffee and lovely kitchen tools and bath products. The second bathroom was really nice to have when traveling with a teenager, and the beds were great (I actually chose the sofa bed because it was so comfortable!). Definitely will stay here again, and hope to stay longer!

    Nicole2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • This is such a wonderful space! The bed is SO comfortable and all of the extra details are just lovely. It's perfectly located right in town and the entire space is sparkling clean. We loved it!

    Samantha2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This was my second time staying at Natalie and Kazio's! You can't beat the location in Tivoli. The apartment is steps from coffee shops, restaurants and everything the charming town of Tivoli has to offer. I love this place!

    Marissa2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great place to stay in a fun and quirky little town. Above Winn’s is a wonderful addition to Tivoli and really captures the spirit of the town. Clean, comfortable and cozy with lots of light and lovely furnishings. I’ll definitely be back soon.

  • This place is an amazing option for those staying in Tivoli. The space is large, beautifully maintained, and updated with terrific decor, bed, and amenities. I’d recommend it to anyone.

    Marc2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Winn's was perfect, the place is beautiful you have everything you need. Natalie is very nice, full of recommandations to discover the towns around and very reactive.

    Julie2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a great time at Natalie and Kazio's beautiful home. The space was clean, cozy and had many creative touches throughout. The bed is SO comfortable, and tons of natural light in the apartment! We explored the charming town of Tivoli, would love to go back in the warmer months when more of the stores are open, some are seasonal. The pub directly across the street was great. Also loved the guidebook Natalie and Kazio provided. Would definitely go back and stay here again!

    Frances2020-01-17T00:00:00Z
  • This ranks among my best Airbnb experiences--Peter and Wendy are genuinely kind people and natural hosts. Their place is tranquil, lovely and comfortable. Having a "suite" (private bath, bedroom and sitting room) with easy access to kitchen was really nice. The location in the charming town of Tivoli was perfect for zipping back and forth along the country roads to Bard College. Highly recommended. One note-if you are a couple, you'd need to be OK in a full bed rather than queen. The bed is super comfortable though!

    Lisa2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent, clear & responsive communication. A clean, quiet, welcoming and comfortable space, hosted by a kind and easy-going family. The bedroom is quiet and comfortable, access is easy, and the amenities were great! This was the perfect stay for my working visit to the area, where I could get some rest and do some quiet study. I look forward to staying again in the future!

Granite counter tops and a built in banquette with a french door leading out to the patio sitting area and commercial propane BBQ. The chicken coop can be seen from the kitchen and you can watch our wonderful chickens as they emerge when the automatic door opens from the coop to their enclosed area. The living room has wide plank wood floors and a wonderful cozy, twin sized window seat with a reading light and a view of the woods. This can also be used as a twin size bed. There is a desk, and plenty of seating options . There is a ladder up to a cozy loft with a queen size bed, reading lights and a window on each end for a nice breeze and a view of the trees. For those of you who would prefer not to climb a ladder , there is a sofa that pulls out to a queen size bed, new and very comfortable. The loft does not enable you to stand up. We provide all of your quality bed linens and plenty of extra pillows. For those staying at the cottage in the spring, summer or fall, there is a delightful screened in porch to relax and read a good book. Your own private lake front awaits after you take a quick stroll down a path through the woods and walk down a staircase to the dock and pergola area. 2 kayaks are attached to the dock for your use. There are life jackets and a couple of floats. A perfect place to spend an afternoon swimming or kayaking or an evening with a glass of wine, watching the sunset on the lounge chairs.
The cottage is on a private road with only 10 houses.

One of 6 accommodations on our rolling hills 15 acres in the Hudson Valley called Gatherwild Ranch. This cabin is a renovated 1800's guesthouse, just behind the main farmhouse. It's less private than the tents & tiny homes out in the orchard, however has electricity and is cozy yet spacious. It has 2 entrances, gets beautiful eastern sunrise sun and features a queen size bed with fresh linens. Pets are welcome (See below for details).
This guest house on our glamping property is the perfect way to enjoy nature, yet experience the comforts of a home. It features a queen size bed, a simple wash basin, and has a private front yard. It shares a main firepit, firewood is provided. The cabin has a private composting toilet, and shares the other amenities including an outdoor kitchen, grills & solar shower. This is one of 6 accommodations, and is the only one with electricity. There is a space heater for cooler temps.
Germantown has 1 amazing market named Otto's where you can purchase all the necessities. 1 amazing restaurant named Gaskins with farm-fresh food and great cocktails. 1 liquor store & main street offering a couple of shops to peruse. 15 minutes to Hudson (all the restaurants & shopping you could desire) 15 minutes to Red Hook
  • This was the perfect location for a relaxing weekend getaway. We rented a car in the city and drove up to Germantown which is so peaceful and quiet. It’s very close to upstate breweries and restaurants in neighboring towns. The guest house was impeccably clean and so comfortable to stay in. Really enjoyed my time there.

    Marin2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • What an amazing property to stay on during a Hudson Valley getaway. The proximity to Germantown, Hudson, and many other places of interest was perfect. We hiked, sat by the fire at night, visited breweries and wineries, and even went to great restaurants in nearby cities. Gatherwild is a great place to call home whether you want to be social or just spend some alone time with your significant other. Would definitely recommend.

    Chris2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Gatherwild Ranch was a magical place. We stayed in the cabin, but there are also a few tents spread out across the property which makes it feel like a little festival community. There’s a really cute common kitchen area and fire pit which were very close by, and an outdoor washroom and shower behind the cabin. Wish we stayed more than one night. The most memorable part was the warm welcome by 3 of Laura’s goats! We never met Laura or went inside the main house so can’t speak to that. Thanks again, would recommend you stay here if you want an outdoorsy nature experience on a gorgeous ranch nestled in the beautiful valley a 5 minute drive to Germantown (we had dinner at Gaskins, definitely recommend that as well).

    Emily2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Another great experience st Gatherwild. Came with my whole family this time and everyone had a great time. The outdoor kitchen, the goats, the fire pits, the amazing tents, it’s all an amazing experience.

The house is situated on 17 wooded acres equal distance from Hudson and Rhinebeck on a quiet country road. Very private, just one other house can be seen peaking through the trees in the distance. It's a two bedroom cottage that sits on a beautiful pond that attracts all kinds of wildlife to it. Great for swimming in the summer and ice skating in the winter. The downstairs of the house has two bedrooms, a bath with a tub, kitchen, living and dining room as well as a large room to chill out in and watch nature out the windows while a fire warms the whole place. The upstairs is currently not being rented. The house is nicely decorated with many mid century modern furniture pieces. The house also has a large stone patio facing the pond that has a table and chairs and a weber charcoal bbq. There is a tv with netflix, a dvd player and an assortment of dvd's. There is also a radio.
The house is situated on a quiet country road. It is windy and hilly and picturesque. The perfect place for long walks and quiet. Lots of wildlife/bird watching/spotting. The house is situated within easy driving of all the Hudson Valley has to offer. Close to Bard college and Tivoli, a very easy 20 minutes drive to Hudson or Rhinebeck. There is a diner/deli about a 3 minute drive away for any emergency rations or if you run out of milk for your coffee.
  • We have stayed multiple times at Stephen's and the only thing we dislike is when we have to go. Thanks again!

    Michael2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • I have stayed here before and I absolutely love this place. Stephen is a fantastic host, the house is beautifully stylish and cozy, the fireplace is icing on the cake. I absolutely love this place!

    Monika2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time here. Stephen’s place is a beautiful, modern home and has many thoughtful touches. The kitchen was perfect for cooking meals and we loved dancing to records in front of the fireplace. Check-in was a breeze and communication was as good as it gets. Would highly recommend.

    Robyn2019-12-09T00:00:00Z
  • The house has an amazing view of a private pond, is very peaceful and is filled with nice, stylish touches - perfect for a getaway from the city!

    Caroline2019-12-02T00:00:00Z
  • Stephen's place was absolutely perfect for our weekend getaway! It had everything we were hoping for and then some. The cottage is so cozy - we had a fire going the whole time, loved sipping our morning coffee in the kitchen sitting area, and the first day we woke up to a Great Blue Heron hanging on the pond. The space is so thoughtfully decorated - it's as though everything is exactly where it is supposed to be. Check-in instructions were easy breezy, and while the place couldn't be more peaceful, you are still just a quick drive to Hudson, Kingston, etc if you feel like venturing out. We will definitely be staying here again!

    Emily2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • Our second year staying at Stephen's house for our annual retreat, and we still love it. Thank you!

The Barn is a renovated space with an open sleeping loft, and beautiful floor-to-ceiling views overlooking the Catskill Mountains. Three newly-renovated, light-filled, peaceful bedrooms, each with queen bed and 2 bedrooms each with private attached full baths (third bedroom accesses common powder room). Coded door locks ensure privacy. Rooms are on the first floor of a building near the owners' main house. Building is on an idyllic 12-acre property, with a gorgeous view of pond, chickens and burgeoning nut tree orchard. Common area for coffee and tea with microwave and fridge available. Ample parking on premises available.
Welcome to Five Hares Farm! The B&B is situated on an incipient permaculture homestead. We have a newly-planted nut and fruit orchard, chickens, and beehives (note that the beehives are located far away enough from the building as not to pose any threat for those with allergies).
Located three minutes by car from the heart of Germantown, with its well-known shopping and dining options, including delicious gourmet food from Otto’s Market and fine dining at Gaskin’s. Germantown is 10 minutes from Bard College to the south and Olana State Historic site to the north, 15 minutes from Hudson (with its famed Warren Street shops and restaurants), and 20 minutes from historic Rhinebeck. Multiple farms and farmer’s markets, dining, shopping, outdoor, and cultural options abound in the area, making the Upper Hudson Valley a perfect area to visit all year round.
  • This is a lovely location for visiting the Hudson river valley! Three very nice bedrooms two with en suite bathrooms, lots of light, overlooking the farm, a pond and hills, charming, comfy decor. There’s lots to do nearby. Would definitely return!

  • We had a great girls’ weekend getaway at the farm! We loved the stylish space & were able to relax and enjoy time together.

    Melissa2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay at Suzette and Paul's place. The house is neat, beautifully curated, and to quote my wife "super cozy". It has all the amenities to make you feel at home and yet has a quiet reflective quality that we truly enjoyed. Suzette and Paul are very thoughtful hosts. They were very good with the communication (Suzette responded within minutes after we booked), flexible (my wife and I decided to have a small detour for dinner and checked in much later than originally planned), organized (Suzette and Paul have a binder with all the information you need to enjoy your time at their place as well as in neighboring towns and parks). We are frequently in the Catskills / Hudson Valley area and our stay at Suzette and Paul's place was, without doubt, one of our favorite weekends getaways. Ash and Ana

  • Beautiful space with ample room and close to many different activities. We went as a group of couples this Winter and plan to go back in the Spring!

    Rachel2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • My fiance and I came up for the weekend to celebrate our engagement and we had an awesome stay! Very stylish and upscale space located on a beautiful farm property. The barn is near the main house, but Paul and Suzette respected our privacy and made it feel like we were there by ourselves--perfect for those looking to getaway and be in solitude. Tons of personal touches (they left us a bottle of prosecco because they knew we were recently engaged!) and written recs for what to do in the area. Definitely one of the best airbnb experiences we've had!

    Cate2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Our family enjoyed very much our stay. The space was nicely located on the property with good views of the surrounding farm. The location was good for an enjoyable walk to town. The space was very comfortable and clean with large bathrooms and plenty of hot water on a cold winter weekend.

Welcome to Greig Farm, a family-run farm since 1942! The Schoolhouse is part of the farm's west homestead, where it sits between our south barn, a plant nursery, and a beautiful pond filled with hundreds of koi fish. Our farm is active and open to the public all year. Visit our farm market for the best local produce and goods. In the warm months, come pick-your-own fruit and vegetables. **Our farm market has a full breakfast menu and breakfast is included with your stay (starting at 9am).**
The Schoolhouse is a studio setup, including a full kitchen and bathroom. There's space for two in the bed and two more in the queen-sized pullout couch. Neighboring the schoolhouse is a garden nursery, a zero-waste sustainability center, and one of the many beautiful ponds on our farm (this one happens to be filled with hundreds of colorful koi fish). The 300 acre farm is yours to explore, so please make yourself at home!
The Hudson Valley is a beautiful part of the world. The farm is located on the quiet Pitcher Lane, located just 5 minutes from Red Hook and Tivoli, 15 minutes from Rhinebeck, and 20 minutes from Hudson and Kingston.
  • We had a great mini-vaca at the Schoolhouse! Breakfast was tasty and fresh and we loved chatting with the lovely people at Greig's Farm. We got to hang out with the goats and enjoyed our stay in the area. Thanks, guys!

  • Norman was a great host - very easy to coordinate and check in. The place is really charming on a working farm and flower growers. The studio space was a great adventure with our kiddo and we loved playing games and sleeping all in the same room. A good bonding night. Loved meeting the neighbor shop woman and her dog. Our pup loved being on the farm too. The breakfast, which was included, was at the Farm Market down the road and was really a great touch in the morning - so good. We’ll be back.

    Kirsten2020-02-18T00:00:00Z

  • My husband, pup, and I enjoyed our stay at Norman’s farm studio. It provided a much needed getaway before the holidays. In the morning we loved taking our pup out for a stroll by the pond. Snow covered and frozen, the secluded landscape was so peaceful! Also the complimentary breakfast was DELICIOUS. we enjoyed every bite. Norman was very responsive and checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed (which we did!).

  • Being my first stay at an Air BnB, Helen has set the bar high for any future bookings I may make with others. Her home is clean, serene and interesting. She was very thoughtful in providing for our needs and certainly surpassed my expectations. A great value, a wonderful atmosphere and a gracious host, I look forward to booking with her again.

    Monique2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Helen is just a fantastic warm Hostess. She has a beautiful sparkling clean very stylish home in a nice area between a few popular towns of Red Hook Rhinebeck Germantown Tipoli and not far from Kingston. We had been communicating prior to our stay and then last minute were able to stay with her. She was happy to do a same-day booking . We had a lot of trouble on our end with our Wi-Fi connections and she was most patient and as quick with responses as possible. As soon as we knew we could message again she immediately confirmed so we could have her address as it was already night and we were in the middle of a rainstorm. She welcomed us in to her home with open arms. We had lovely conversation with her had a light breakfast both mornings we were there she is a vegetarian we are not however we were respectful of each other's dietary wants as far as the refrigerator was concerned :-) I feel like I have made another friend. We will be happy to stay with her the next time we are in the Rhinebeck or Red Hook area (which we hope to return in a few months but for sure by next summer). Helen Thank You again for the wonderful stay and teaching me how to use the cappuccino press

    Krista2019-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • Helen’s place is was so amazingly clean and stylish with the mix of modern and antique furnitures. She offered delicious breakfast every morning and made me feel very much at home. She’s also very knowledgable in the Arts so you should make sure to get some recommendations on local galleries/exhibitions if that interests you. Great location and check-in was very easy. I highly recommend this place!

  • I traveled here with a friend to visit the NY Sheep and Wool Festival at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck. We stayed with Helen for two nights, and she was a great hostess! She made us tasty coffee and a light breakfast each morning, and had advice for things to do (though we mostly stuck to the festival). We had a late start and a longer drive than anticipated, so we wound up arriving quite late Friday night--Helen was gracious about our late arrival. Charming house, friendly host, A+ AirBnB-er.

Near the Hudson River, breweries, state parks, fine and casual dining, farms, markets, hipsters, country folk, the Catskills, ten minutes to bard college and all the things it offers through the year, near a boat launch into the Hudson...we are only two hours north of NYC and an hour south of Albany.
We just updated our existing space, (you can find that on my profile) to include a second bedroom, new beds, a fresh coat of paint, a remodeled kitchen, a record player, books and games! We now have super pimp queen and full size beds, plus access to two twin beds should they be needed. There is a separate parking area, your own entrance and exit, gardens to harvest from, (in season) with fruits, veggies and herbs. We are both in the Hudson Valley restaurant/foraging/farming business so if you need ingredients or recommendations, please ask, and if you are looking for a fine meal, plan ahead with us!
We are located within 7 minutes of several lovely dining options and quite close to the Hudson River.
  • Quaint and cozy. Idyllic and charming. Perfect spot for 2 and a pup. A quiet oasis though only 20 min drive to Hudson.

  • We loved our stay at Amy’s place! It’s in a rustic farmhouse on a beautiful road, surrounded by farms and fields. They have put a lot of nice touches into the unit, which is on the upstairs floor of the farmhouse. It’s spacious and comfortable! We would stay again!

    Jennifer2019-11-23T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you for having us. Perfect stay, beautiful space, great location!

    Delaney2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay in Germantown at Amy's. She offered great recommendations (Gaskins!) and was super friendly and communicative throughout the entire process. It's not quite an "entire home" since you're upstairs from where they live, but you have a private entrance. I would recommend for a quick getaway in the Catskills!

    Jordan2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • This awesome retro, pet friendly spot was a gem! We felt cozy and cared for, lots of space and snacks/teas galore and awesome toiletries for every hair type and skin need. We especially loved the peaceful quiet in the evenings. They were wonderfully communicative and made us and our small dog right at home.

    Erika2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Sweet place full of stylish colorful retro furniture and decor. Amy and Adam are extremely laid back and welcoming hosts with interesting backgrounds. The road is quiet, full of cornfields , barns and silos.

    Myra2019-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great space for us to stay while we were in town for a wedding I was in at A Private Estate which is conveniently located only about 7 minutes away. Amy was quick to respond to messages and we enjoyed listening to their record player

    Anika2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • The photos are what drew me in, but the space is even more beautiful in person. The layout of the space and the care in the details made the space truly feel like a home for a night. The beautiful artwork, and simple but thoughtful designs were the best in an AirBnb I’ve been to yet. The house is located on an idyllic country road with a lush garden, horses across the street, and beautiful light. Such a pleasure to stay.

Our home is designed to be open with large windows and glass doors overlooking the woods. Feel like you are outside while being in the comfort of a newly renovated and tastefully decorated home. The hot tub on the deck can be enjoyed year round!
We bought and completely renovated this house a few years ago so that we could enjoy weekends in the country. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do! We’ve done it up with designer furniture and great details. The hot tub provides for great outdoor enjoyment year round, as does a very private camp fire location in the woods. Enjoy dinner or a bottle of wine on the spacious deck during spring, summer, and fall. The house is on 4 wooded acres at the end of a dirt road. Stay in for quiet seclusion. Or... enjoy the great restaurants, antiquing, and outdoor activities in the area.
The house is on a private dirt road with only a few other houses on it. There are no neighbors visible from the house, but a few near enough to feel safe. The wooded views from the house are beautiful year round! The area is full of towns with incredible restaurants, shops, history, beautiful scenery, and outdoor activities! Please send us an inquiry for a list of specific restaurants and activities that we recommend.
  • Perfect. Quiet. Relaxing. Hope to stay again!

  • Jackie is an above and beyond host! We had quite a predicament and Jackie was very accommodating and helpful! I can't thank her enough. Her home is very comfortable and a perfect little winter getaway. We definitely recommend staying here!

    Jennifer2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Jackie's house looks out into the woods from a perch on a small hill. The kitchen was well stocked and there is ample space on the large dining room table. Having two baths was great! The hot tub on the deck was a nice way to unwind. Would stay again.

    Claudia2020-02-05T00:00:00Z
  • Jackie's place was great! It's such a perfect and easy getaway from the city, and the check-in process was easy! It's so peaceful and had such beautiful surroundings for those craving nature instead of a concrete jungle. Layout of the home is perfect and very group friendly. She responded so quickly so any questions I had and is so friendly. Definitely recommend.

    Melissa2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • This was our second time here, we enjoyed it so much the first time around. The house is such a cozy spot with beautiful / hip touches throughout and everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's especially amazing sitting in the hot tub on a snowy winter day, and warming your toes on the heated floors. We can't wait to come back and enjoy the huge porch and BBQ a summer weekend!

    Lauren2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • The place was great. Accurate to the pictures. Very cozy spot.

    Ben2020-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • This is our second stay at Jackie’s over New Year’s and it once again was incredible. A gorgeous house with great small touches, a well-stocked kitchen, and an ideal rural setting in the woods. Highly recommend!

  • Meri’s place was wonderful. Communication and check was smooth. If you follow the directions that are sent it is not challenging to find the house. The space was incredibly clean, well decorated and very comfortable. Meri left thoughtful touches including gluten-free and non-dairy breakfast items for me. The surroundings are gorgeous and quiet. We’ll definitely consider staying again when we’re in the area!

    Reagan2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Meri's place was the perfect to stay when exploring the majestic Hudson Valley. The cabin is private with beautiful views of the Catskills. We enjoyed Meri's fresh scones and assorted teas each morning. We will definitely return.

    Susan2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Meri’s was perfect. The house is set so far off the road that you couldn’t hear any cars. The location was great, the place was lovely and Meri was very helpful. We will return!

    Jennifer2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Very comfortable and clean place to spend time. Very quiet, peaceful location- beautiful sunsets. The host is very responsive and has anticipated all needs. I look forward to staying there again!

    Richard2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful location! Amazing views of the mountains, and the interior is perfectly adorable. Everything was so clean and homey. This was the perfect getaway — but I’d live here full time if I could.

    Emily2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Meri's place is fabulous. It's a great little cottage. It's somewhat of a studio, but there's a wall separating the bedroom from the rest of the space. The wall just doesn't go all the way to the ceiling b/c it's a vaulted ceiling. There are skylights so be aware that the room will have early morning light. The space is much bigger than we thought from the pictures. The driveway is steep, and gravel but we handled it fine with my sedan. The place is beautifully appointed and Meri has thought of everything you might need from kitchen necessities to little details like a bluetooth speaker we could use to connect our phone with to play music. It's a great retreat and very private. So nice to come back from a day of adventure to relax on the patio with a drink with no one in sight! Communication, checkin/checkout and every aspect makes Meri a first class host!

    John2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Meri was an amazing host. She left us delicious scones and oat milk which was so thoughtful. The cottage exceeded our expectations and the private backyard was a perfect place to relax after a day of antiquing and exploring upstate. The bed was very comfortable and the cottage was sparkling clean. Thanks again for everything!

    Elizabeth2019-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • This is our second stay at Meri’s and it was just as wonderful as the first visit. Sparkling clean, comfortable, and her touches are generous and kind. I am gluten-free and dairy-free, and she baked us a superbly delicious peach crisp made with local peaches that I got to enjoy. She also gave us pints of local blueberries, tomatoes, apricots and yellow plums. Highly recommend!

Get back in touch with the outdoors at this classical Swedish style cottage. The home features an array of country style furnishings and decor, contrasting motifs, an open-concept living room layout, beamed ceilings, and a cozy corner fireplace.
Snuggle up on the window bench enjoy the view of the Catskills, while being fascinated by the dance of the flames in the fireplace.
The property is surrounded by picturesque countryside, mountain views, flowers, and vibrant colors. It is just 20 minutes to Hudson or Rhinebeck, and 35 minutes to skiing. In warmer months there are hiking trails all around.
  • We enjoyed our weekend at the Swedish cottage. Marianne is a gracious hostess and baked us some delicious bread. The property is beautiful, and my daughter enjoyed running around the yard and meeting Marianne’s sweet dog. The area is great - close to orchards and delicious restaurants!

    Suzy2018-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • Marianne is a great host with quick responses and good tips for the area. Her place takes you to a different world - and her great taste and touches really make you feel you have landed in a small part of Sweden. The cottage is a nice base to visit the area with Rhinebeck, Tivoli, and other places close by. Germantown itself is worth the visit with a couple of small shops and places to eat. Overall, we (to include my wife, toddler son, and small dog) had a great weekend away with the perfect combination of Marianne’s cottage and the many places to explore.

    Kenneth2018-06-17T00:00:00Z
  • Cute cottage in picturesque Germantown. Marianne is a lovely host. Lots of thoughtful touches in the cottage and welcoming to both me and my dog.

    Ben2018-05-20T00:00:00Z
  • Highly, highly recommend this to anyone looking for a cottage getaway. Marianne is an outstanding host and thoughtful person.

    Scott2018-05-14T00:00:00Z
  • Marianne was a wonderful host, communication was so quick and easy. Upon arrival we had freshly baked homemade bread, homemade jams, fruits and eggs! The cottage itself was a guest house which was very cute, cozy and clean. We had a great stay!

    Mary2018-04-22T00:00:00Z
  • A beautifully decorated, rustic-chic cottage in the country. Marianne couldn't have been a more lovely host - even caring for our pup! As city-dwellers, this was the quiet recharge we needed.

    Randy2018-03-31T00:00:00Z
  • This was our first trip as a small family and we couldn’t have wished for a more perfect stay. The cottage is an exquisitely appointed perfect Swedish paradise outside of Sweden. The breakfast provided by Marianne with her signature Swedish bread and berry preserves (we found ourselves googling “cloudberry”) made our day! Marianne, if you are reading this we would love to get your bread recipe!

    Achim2018-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Marianne’s beautiful Swedish cottage in Germantown. The place is ideally located near many of the Hudson Valley’s cute river towns like Hudson, Saugerties and Rhinebeck. Great hiking and walks are close by. Our pup Stanley loved it too, quickly developing a crush on Tuss – Marianne’s adorable mini Dachshund. The cottage itself is nifty. It’s laid out great for a couple or small family. Marianne has fantastic taste and a keen eye for decor and antiques. Highly recommended!

  • Wow, where do I begin. First of all, the home is beautiful and sparkling clean. It’s like a hotel with the comfort of a home. So clean and lovely and well designed. Sonia is a dream host. She went above and beyond and completely out of her way to accommodate us. I can’t thank her enough for her hospitality. Such an awesome home and host!

  • This cottage was a gem! Comfortable, clean, modern, quaint. Gorgeous view of the Catskills and sunset. The property is open to explore. Owners were readily available and yet gave us complete privacy. Perfect homebase if you need to do business or visits at Bard College or in the Tivoli / Red Hook / Germantown / Hudson / Kingston area

    Andrew2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • What a perfect little cottage! My best friend and I stayed for one night after going to a spa in Rhinebeck, and it was just what we needed to complete our retreat. Sonia met us at the door to give us instruction, and was helpful throughout our stay when we had quick questions. The cottage is perfectly appointed, cozy and warm, spotlessly clean, well lit, and the bed is SO COMFORTABLE. We spent the last couple of hours of our stay sitting by the pond surrounded by the beauty of the property. Will absolutely stay again and highly recommend!

    Elena2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Even better than expected.

    Mike2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • This is such a lovely stylish CLEAN place to stay. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed the stay here. The host Sonia is awesome and super helpful. Prior to our stay she gave us great tips and suggestions which we utilized for the day we spent in Tivoli! Would definitely recommend!!

    Satie2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Sonia's cottage was the perfect weekend getaway in a great location! The cottage is brand new, sparkling clean and perfectly designed for two people. The layout is simple, yet really unique with lovely little touches. The cottage is on their farm and we were happily greeted by Sonia and Jim (plus the cows even gave us a warm welcome). With the mountains visible in the distance, the property has plenty of secret gems to explore. The first is a pond just a short walk behind the cottage. The second is a much larger pond that is hidden, but Jim was kind enough to show us the way. If you're looking for a nice weekend getaway with plenty of outdoor space to explore, this is the place. I hope you enjoy the stay as much as we did!

    Tom2020-02-09T00:00:00Z

  • Such a beautiful house!! Highly recommended!!

    Anderson2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing place in an excellent location. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We had a group of 6 and were very comfortable. The kitchen was big and spacious for cooking, the fire place was nice and warm on a cold day, and the place was in close proximity to a few cute Hudson River towns. We had a wonderful time!

    Andrew2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • One of the most beautiful BnB’s I’ve stayed in. Picturesque Hudson valley hideaway with a fully updated home, comfortable mattresses and brand new hot tub. Most of the towns were only a 15-40 min drive away from home. Total privacy and silence. We can’t wait to come back!

    Sarah2019-12-16T00:00:00Z
  • We had a perfect few days at this beautiful house. And, have decided the ideal way to enjoy nature is from this hot tub. Book a stay here - you’ll have a great time.

    John & Leila2019-12-05T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely had a beautiful stay at this house. Pictures were all accurate, house was in pristine condition and very stylish. All of the tech worked perfectly (tv/hot tub/fire place/wifi etc), kitchen was stocked with all the basics and the house was very spacious. Absolutely would stay again if in the area again. We had an amazing quiet weekend away!

    Maureen2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • Joana’s farmhouse is the perfect upstate getaway! We visited with a group of 8 friends and had lots of space to eat together, and wonderful rooms to spend some time alone. The property is incredibly private and the grounds are immaculate. I’ve never stayed in a cleaner rental property- it was sparkling!!! The views are perfect, the kitchen perfect for cooking for big groups and the hot tub with sunset views a great touch.

    Heather2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • If you are looking for an absolutely picturesque stay in the Hudson Valley, then look no further and book now! We live nearby but were unable to accommodate our visiting guests at this time so we booked this house as it was large enough to stay together. Three families - all with kids 6 and under - and the house was absolutely perfect for our needs! The decor and style makes you feel like you are in a magazine, and the views are unparalleled - especially watching the sunset from the hot tub. My only complaint would be that I don’t live there!! ;-)

We enjoy nature and I wanted to choose something that combined our love for camping with some luxury, this was the perfect fit! Laura was extremely accommodating, responded quickly and left us fresh flowers in our tent from her garden. Highly recommended!!!

  • Great for families! We stayed in Firefly with our 2 young boys and were all very comfortable. We were welcomed by a beautiful tent and plenty of extra blankets and comforters for the chilly nights. Beautiful property with great amenities. Can't wait to come back, we all had the best time!

    April2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Place was cozy and comfortable yet peaceful and quiet. Laura welcomed us in her home to use the shower and yoga space. Look forward to coming back with more people! Great grounds to explore!

    Britt2019-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • We had a beautiful, cozy fall stay at the ranch. The bed was super comfy and warm (despite the cold weather), and we appreciated that there was firewood provided for us to have fires. The little touches in the tent and around the property were so thoughtful and cute. We loved eating at Otto’s Market in Germantown, as well as checking out some of the breweries in the area. Overall we had a great stay and hope to return!

    Alex2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Laura's property was the most magical escape from reality that I ended up booking an extra night because I couldn't bear to leave! My little old lady dog and I stayed in the Stargazer the first night and the Firefly the second night. Stargazer is v. convenient to toilet/shower/kitchen, but remote enough to feel alone. Firefly was the farthest from things, but private, on a hill and the view of the valley/moon/stars was unbelievable. Both tents/yurts were clean, thoughtfully decorated and stocked with all the essentials: bug spray, matches, a big dispenser of water, playing cards, books and an army grade wool blanket for the chilly night. The rooms feel like boutique luxury hotel rooms - the beds and blankets were super comfortable. It rained my first night which was beyond dreamy sleeping while the raindrops pelted the tent and I didn't notice any wetness when I woke up! Yes, there are bugs around and yes, you use the bathroom in a compost toilet stall (which was not at all as terrible as it sounds), but it was part of the fun of the experience. The solar powered outdoor shower is highly recommended on a hot day! I ended up cooking most meals at the communal kitchen which was also surprisingly well-stocked with tools/pans/plates/cups etc. It was fun chatting with the other guests while cooking/eating. The property is also conveniently located near some cute towns if you/your group needs some non-glamping time.

    Erin2019-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • Laura’s place is located conveniently away from the city but far enough to see some amazing stars on a clear night. Wrestle yourself out of bed like my wife did for some incredible views. The atmosphere at the ranch is very laid back, welcoming and filled with lots of things to explore around the house. My wife and I had a great time and would always think about coming back when traveling through the area.

    Thomas2019-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • Really great place and nicely out together tent. This was our first "glamping" experience and really enjoyed it. Was perfect way to introduce our 3yr old to camping and the tent also had room for a pack n play for our 1yr old. Overall great, and would come back again.

    Sammy2019-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • Really great stay at Gatherwild ranch. My husband and I are from Brooklyn and this was the perfect getaway for us. Loved the outdoor experience- cooking with fresh veggies, starting our own fire pit buy our tent, the modern and chic yurt, and the cute goats! A truly unique and fun experience.

  • Really beautiful community and it’s just so unique. Despite the cold weather, Laura was kind enough to give us an honest heads up that it may be cold. We decided to go through with our trip and she was very accommodating and thoughtful. If we needed help with anything she was quick to respond. Very kind and awesome host!

  • I had such a wonderful time. My boyfriend and I came upstate from Brooklyn. This was the perfect weekend retreat from the city. We were at Gatherwild over the first weekend of November and it was perfect. No bugs, chilly nights and mornings (but warm under the ample blankets), and the skies were clear and starry. We had so much fun exploring the surrounding area. Laura was lovely. The tent was perfect (Upstate Belle). The communal kitchen had everything we needed. Thank you so much!! We will be back.

  • Laura is a fantastic host. This is one of my favorite places to stay and experience. I've been coming here every year for a few years, and it never disappoints.

  • Second time at Gatherwild and just as lovely as I remembered it to be!

  • This is my second year at the Gatherwild farm and it did not disappoint. Laura and her NOW husband (Congratulations!!) made us feel just at home! The Yurts were so clean and cozy and they made sure we had everything we needed for getting through the night in the cold temperatures. Sharing the property with other campers was a lot of fun. Getting to know where everyone else was from and sharing hiking experiences was a great way to experience the great outdoors. This location was perfect with only a 5 minute drive to the local town (Otto's market grocery store has EVERYTHING you need to cook, eat, drink) and the mobile gas station is 5 minutes away as well (just in case you forget to bring a lighter... or a duraflame log.... :| ) Kaaterskill Falls is a good 40 minutes away but has absolutely outstanding views and a great hike as well as Overlook Mountain another 40 minutes away with a quick trip into the Town of Woodstock. I recommend this quaint little quiet getaway to anyone looking for a great way to experience the great outdoors, looking to go camping without setting up their own tent, and to enjoy the quiet peaceful sounds of a fire crackling. You will NOT be disappointed! :) THANKS AGAIN LAURA

  • Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The property was very quiet and private and the friendly goats and outdoor kitchen added something extra. Would absolutely stay again!
