Corona virus info: We're asking all guests to wash and sanitise hands on arrival. All surfaces and door/cupboard handles are disinfected thoroughly after each booking. Welcome to Lucky Duck Egg Farm! A beautiful spot with river views and hot tub overlooking the farm & a short walk to Tenbury. The Airbnb sleeps 4, with a shower room and kitchenette area that has a fridge (no oven/stove). Homemade bread and duck eggs on arrival. We're dog-friendly. I live in the adjoining property with two dogs.
The house was built in 2010, replacing an old farm cottage that used to be on the land. The guest studio has its own entrance and is on the ground floor, offering single-level living. Guests have their own private shower room and toilet, and a small utility area. The utility includes a fridge, kettle, toaster and attached egg-maker, and an omelette-maker. The room fits a double bed and sofa bed and has a small dining table. There is an internal door that separates the studio from the main house so it is private. Please be aware we do live at the property, if you are looking for a completely secluded place this accommodation wouldn't be suitable. We give our guests privacy but we are social too.
Tenbury is a charming market town with cafes, shops, six pubs and a vintage cinema called The Regal, which has live entertainment as well as films. The River Teme runs through the town and acts as the Worcestershire/Shropshire border. Set in the Malvern Hills, ramblers can enjoy the many hikes and walking trails around the area. For adventure seekers, you can also kayake down the River Teme. Tenbury has a tourist information centre, a small museum and an old church. In our guest room you can find information leaflets for things to do in the area, and takeaway menus for local fast food businesses.
  • We loved staying here, the tub is amazing even in the bad weather we have! Local pubs were nice too

  • Krystena and Brett were the perfects hosts, Everything about Lucky duck is amazing! The short walk through their gardens and past the ducks to the town makes this place ideal for a few nights stay. We had our two dogs and Krystena made sure we knew where to take them and where we could let them roam, not sure the cats were thrilled :) To top off an already great place we were able to relax in the hot tub under the night sky for a couple of hours. 100% would recommend

    Jamie2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing little get away! Beautiful views and fantastic hosts. Would definitely stay there again.

    Elliott2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Krystena and Brett were very hospitable and made us feel very welcome. The cats and dogs are super friendly and got on with our 2 dogs great. Lovely space for a quiet break away, with quaint towns surrounding the local area. Great view watching the ducks come out every morning. A great space to unwind from city life! Thanks Krystena and Brett.

  • Fantastic stay, great space, great hot tub, 10min walk into the town (bit dark at night when picking up our Chinese, our fault for not bringing cash), pets were super friendly. Definitely would recommended.

    Thomas2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely break away. Krystena and Brett were so welcoming. The hot tub was amazing & all little touches by the hosts made it extra special.

    Ben2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Krystena and Brett were very welcoming and made our stay very relaxing, we couldn’t have hoped for better hosts. The home is absolutely wonderful, with some great scenery surrounding. We were extremely impressed with the hot tub they have on offer, and how they prioritise customers use of it. The homemade bread and the duck eggs were delicious too, which they supply for the duration of your stay. We look forward to going back in the near future!

Beautiful cottage available to rent in Ludlow. The house is down a quaint pathway with an imposing Church at the end of the road. The cottage itself has a lovely patio to the front which is drenched in sun throughout the day. Inside you will find a bright yet cosy lounge with a fantastic log burner & TV to relax with on the evenings with a wine or two! There is also a well equipped kitchen diner. Upstairs there is a large main room & a small 2nd bedroom with bunk beds & a shower room.
The house is located in Ludlow which is a market town in Shropshire. A short walk away and you will find yourself in the center with the busy market every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday and a multitude of shops, pubs and restaurants. There is also the River Teme where you can enjoy free fishing - perfect on a summers day! The town was described by Sir John Betjeman as "probably the loveliest town in England". We are confident you will love Ludlow as much as we do but should you need any recommendations or ideas of what to do just ask. :)
There is a lovely cafe just around the corner for breakfast and also a Chinese takeaway should you wish to have a night in
  • A great little cottage. It was super cosy and very warm with heating as well as the log burner. The cottage is in a very private area as there is no road in front of it, so you feel very safe. We didn’t know what to expect from Ludlow as a town, but it was great. Plenty to keep you occupied when you decide to venture out. We will definitely be coming back.

  • Fantastic space, very luxurious with everything you need and more! The weather was horrific, however it meant that we didn’t feel guilty staying in and getting cosy in front of the fire and the electric blanket, hot water bottles and robes were very much appreciated! Can’t wait to visit in better weather so we can make full use of the outdoor facilities!

    Hannah2020-01-14T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful and secluded getaway, the perfect option if you love being out in nature but still want creature comforts. Very cosy and full of thoughtful little touches like hot water bottles, dressing gowns, DVDs and board games. We didn't venture out much during our 2 night stay due to bad weather but were perfectly happy reading next to the log burner. Have recommended staying at the Tree Dome to so many people already and we're definitely planning on coming back in the summer to make the most of the beautiful outdoor space.

Sheep Fleece Cottage is set in great walking countryside by a quiet lane. Our traditional detached 3 bedroom cottage offers 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom. Beamed ceilings and wood burning fires. The lounge has 3 two seater sofas, Wi-Fi, TV, DVD/Blu-Ray and SKY movies. The beds are made up, towels , tea towels, dishwasher tablets, seasoned logs/smokeless coal for the fires are provided. We preheat the cottage for your arrival. The whole house is yours. There are no additional charges.
Positioned 1000 feet above sea level on the hillside in a quiet lane with nearby open heath land which has magnificent views. It is great walking country. There are countless routes on footpaths in all directions across the hills and forest, starting from the garden gate. Our detached 3 bedroom cottage sleeps 6 people in 2 double bedrooms and a twin bedroom. Beamed ceilings and wood burning fires add to the character of this 150 year old stone and brick cottage. But this also means we have steep stairs and low opening windows in the bedrooms. We have fire guards, if needed, for young children.
Our cottage is set in a quiet lane that leads out onto the side of a hill with open access land with loads of footpaths leading in all directions - right from the garden gate. Nearby is Ludlow 5 miles (8km) the most quintessentially English town, with castle, market square and narrow streets with typical black and white houses and speciality food shops. There are many great restaurants and pubs in the town.
  • Absolutely lovely little cottage in a gorgeous location. We had a short two night stay as we were attending a family funeral locally and Chris & Rebecca done a fab job in accommodating us. Will definitely be returning in the future.

  • Lovely place. Very well equipped. Excellent communication throughout and answered any queries we had very quickly. House was lovely and warm, we only had a log fire once. The area round about was great for walks and lots to do in the vicinity.

  • Clee Hill is the perfect base for exploring Shropshire and the Welsh Borders. The village is hundreds of feet above the surrounding valleys so on a clear day you can walk a few yards from the cottage in any direction and be rewarded with spectacular views. There is a very well stocked village shop half a mile up the road. The cottage itself is clean, cosy and well maintained with a nice large bathroom and well equipped kitchen.

    Matthew2016-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great few days in the cottage. Chris was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. The cottage itself was perfect for us. Nice and peaceful with everything you need. Also great wifi for the kids which came in handy! Great selection of board games and films too.

Raffaella and Orlando were welcoming, responsive, offered helpful advice but were not at all intrusive. Breakfast was beautifully presented. I would not hesitate to recommend their place.

She offered us suggestions for places to dine out in Ludlow and we chose The Church Inn which turned out to be fantastic. Ludlow offers plenty to do so you won’t be disappointed.

With fantastic views across South Shropshire as far as the eye can see, the location of our cottage is perfect for walkers and people looking to escape. The cottage is perched on top of Cleehill Common.
Whatsill Cottage is an old miners cottage based on the top of Clee Hill. Views (when we're not in the clouds) are simply amazing! Perfect for a rural break and located on some great walks around Clee Hill. The Shropshire Way isn't too far away either. You will have access to the entire house which included a large dog friendly conservatory, kitchen, large living room, downstairs bathroom, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom.
    Fantastic views.
  • Cosy cottage with a superb view on the valley below. Quiet, equipped with everything you need for a few days away from it all. Particularly loved the giant window in the lounge bringing in lots of light and making you feel at one with the surrounding countryside. Thanks Rhian & Alex for the thoughtful touches and generous provision of bread, milk, tea, coffee, fruit. We'll defo advertise the place to all our friends!

    Val2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely en cosy cottage with the most amazing view. Perfect for a family of four. We felt so welcome. We were provided with lots of extra’s (for example fresh eggs from te chickens in the garden). Lovely walks right from the house, to explore the hill, experience the view and meet some sheep :). Most remembered by our daughters: we turned the lights off after dinner and looked at the thousands of lights in the distance!

    Geers2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you for a lovely stay and a wonderful time. We especially loved the welcome and complimentary eggs from the chickens in the garden. The fire was awesome too. The place is well equipped and has a real slow pace of life about it. I can’t wait to come and experience the walks and views in summer!

  • Super place and hosts. Spot on!!

    Alison2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Alex and Rhian are really welcoming hosts, and did all they could to make sure we had what we needed, particularly during the stormy weather this week. The cottage is warm and welcoming and really well-equipped. The views from the cottage are truly stunning and there are plenty of walks you can do right from the doorstep. A really enjoyable and restful week!

    Sarah2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • Wow. Within about 10 minutes we'd all agreed that this was a competitor for nicest airbnb we've stayed in. Rhian and Alex thought of everything! There were so many lovely little touches that made us feel very cosy and welcome. We felt very spoilt! The cottage is beautiful and comfortable and spotlessly clean. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and the thoughtful little extras Rhian and Alex left were just lovely. The view is just beautiful and we went on a lovely long walk straight from our doorstep. We'd recommend a visit to the gorgeous little church at Cleeton St Mary where you make yourself a cup of tea or coffee while you look around. The log burning fire in the living room kept us warm and snug and the whole cottage was wonderfully warm and snug. We will definite be returning and we thoroughly recommend a stay at Rhian an Alex's lovely cottage!

    Eleanor2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely time at the cottage and cannot recommend it highly enough. It was very well equipped with nice touches like cereals, milk, honey, jam, eggs (from their hens! ), flowers and more. Very comfy beds and furniture. Great location with superb views and a real chance to get away from it all. Rhian could not have been more helpful and we're really looking forward to going back.

  • Beautiful cottage. Very central location.

    Joseph2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommend this lovely cottage. Very quiet and in a great location. Very comfortable and ideal for a night or weekend retreat. Very short walks from the centre of town so you can access all the fine food establishments and the castle. The cottage is so adorable, even for a 6ft 1in bloke. Low ceilings but that adds to the charm. Open log burner adds cosy warmth to the space whilst you sip homemade damson vodka! Very clean and well planned space with great bedroom and wooden beams and pitched ceiling, big spacious bathroom. Highly recommend and we will be returning.

  • Just off Ludlow's beautiful Broad Street; a comfortable, stylish cottage with everything you need.

  • Little jewel of a place. Ideally located for exploring Ludlow and surrounding countryside.

    Kathryn2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • As promised, this is a cosy space , right in the heart of Ludlow, and we really enjoyed ourselves. The town is just so beautiful, with a fascinating range of proper shops and businesses, and friendly people. We were out and about, even in the midst of Hurricane Dennis, making full use of the umbrellas. We also had an exhilarating run on Sunday morning to see the swollen River Eame. The house has everything you need, ingeniously fitted into its tiny footprint. We are small people, but the space might be a problem for taller folk. Also, we didn't use the bicycles we had bought, but would have struggled to know where to store them if we had

    Marion2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • This is my second stay at Rosie’s house and I’m planning further visits. The house is quaint, full of character and in the centre of town, yet quiet and peaceful. And Rosie’s raspberry vodka and homemade jams are delicious.

  • Beautiful little cosy cottage in a perfect spot for ludlow. Spotlessly clean. Really comfy bed. And the open fire was a bonus for us too! We travel to ludlow by train so parking is never an issue for us. Would love to stay again

A unique holiday experience, staying in the Nave of a 1766 2* listed church, just four miles from Ludlow, set in the rolling hills of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We can promise you a memorable stay in a property that blends historical features with a modern conversion.
The bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, extensively tiled with travertine and granite and features a jacuzzi spa bath. There is a downstairs toilet and shower room. The fitted kitchen has hand painted tiles and a range gas cooker. Enjoy the large flatscreen television with cinema system. Underfloor heating. Many original features.
  • This is a brilliant place to stay! Steve & Sue are very welcoming as hosts, and the space is completely unique & incredibly interesting. They've managed to retain the character of the old church, while also adding some luxury to the living space (particularly the bathroom). Lots of beautiful walks around too, and Ludlow is a nice little town. If there's been any rain, make sure you bring wellies!

  • A lovely laid back, relaxing and peaceful place to stay

    Jacqueline2020-01-08T00:00:00Z
  • This place is an absolute treasure trove. Steve and Sue made us feel at home and were so welcoming. The home is very spacious, and had everything you could ask for. There is a great selection of dvds to choose from. And the jacuzzi bath was an added bonus. Amazing views, a great place for peace and quiet. Lots of places to visit nearby, and Steve and Sue were more than happy to give us recommendations. This is a defiantly must if you want an unforgettable experience.

    Alyce2019-10-31T00:00:00Z
  • An amazing quirky home, we felt warm, relaxed and comfortable. The hosts Steve & Sue are lovely people and very hospitable. We would recommend this to anyone but if you have severe mobility issues be aware there are steps to enter as well as to the bedroom. The downstairs toilet and shower (as well as an upstairs bathroom) is a plus and the sofa can be made into a bed. The shower is lovely! The jacuzzi bath is great and the kitchen has a beautiful cooker and is very well equipped. In the lounge there is a massive telly and a great selection of DVD's. All in all, one of our favourite holidays!

    Jenny & Dave2019-10-03T00:00:00Z
  • Steve and Sue's converted church is a fantastic place to stay, very much recommended. They are great hosts, very friendly and helpful with information about the local area. We enjoyed being around their animals too. The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering, every pan and utensil you might want. The lounge has a great TV and DVD system, with a good selection of films to watch. The location is a good base for exploring South Shropshire and further afield. We had a fantastic four days in the area enjoying walking and wild swimming. Many thanks to Steve & Sue.

    Steve2019-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • This charming building is just as described, but the the serenity of the location would be hard to put into words. Getting out of the car you'll be greeted by near silence, interrupted by the odd sheep or chicken, and devoid of the drone of distant traffic that it's so hard to avoid. Steve and Sue are great hosts, and clearly as much in love with their home as anyone who's stayed there must surely be.

    Neil2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • This place is a true gem right in the sticks, unique, beautiful and quiet! It's great value for money, the place is huge and has lots of nice touches like the jacuzzi bath, great after a long day of walking through the stunning Shropshire countryside, home cinema, the screen is huge! And everything you could possibly need in the kitchen including cafetiere, corkscrew, blender, food processor, microwave etc. The dining area was wonderful with the candelabra lit up, it was so romantic! I enjoyed cooking in the huge well equipped kitchen. They have cats, chickens, a lovely dog and a PUPPY! Oh he's adorable! The Long Mynd was a stunning walk in the picturesque Church Stretton if you're lucky with the weather. There are loads of blueberries about, especially at the Stiperstones. And on a rainy day you can chill out at "home" or go to Stokesay Castle a short drive away. We loved watching the hedgehogs in the garden at dusk. There's no phone reception which I loved but there is a good WiFi connection. Look out for the hawks in the neighbours garden just down the hill.

    Leela2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Wow .... fantastic place. Best Air BNB experience so far. The church and surrounding area are just idyllic. From the moment we stepped into the church we were just in awe of how Steve and Sue have made the place so special. Lots of original features still in place as well as a modern kitchen and bathroom . Very well equipped with everything you need to be very comfortable. Very comfortable living area with a huge tele and great selection of DVD’s. We were fortune to have a tour of the whole church and Steve and Sue’s workshops. The grounds are lovely with Chickens, cats and two beautiful dogs , Spike and Vicar. Sue and Steve were fantastic hosts and we enjoyed their stories of the church restoration and their craft work. Ludlow is only a few miles away, the castle is well worth a visit. Shrewsbury is half an hour drive and a wonderful town. A truly amazing trip , very unique and peaceful.

  • This really is a little slice of Heaven, and perfect for your dogs with so much fantastic woodland to explore. We were warm, comfortable, and were able to relax totally....well, as much as Wookie would let us! She wanted to be out and on the go all the time! If you have a cloudless night, just turn off all the lights and stand outside and look up....you'll never have seen so many stars! I defy anyone to come here and not go home feeling renewed and refreshed....if a little depressed at having to leave it all behind! I also need to apologise for Wookie sneaking off in the morning and stealing Darcy's balls....we did leave them behind!

  • We stayed at Penny's Star Dome as as a extension to our Honeymoon. One with our Labrador in tow this time! Despite it being a heatwave Penny did the best she could to cool the dome for us in preparation and left us with a fan. We We mostly spent the evenings in and around the Dome due to the heat in the day! Beautiful setting so quiet and peaceful nicely situated. Our dog especially loved laying on the balcony and watching the birds. All the amenities you need are there. We were advised the best walks and given some tips on check in. We enjoyed a thunder & lightning storm from the dome in the early hours which was beautiful. To be honest we only wished we had booked to stay longer. Thank you

    Laura2019-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed in the Star Dome and it was just lovely! Comfortable bed and amazing to hear the animals all day and night too. We were able to chill outside for the first night which was great with the gas fire pit and the BBQ worked a treat! It does get cold during the night when the fire goes out so the electric blanket was amazing! We made use of the games and played Monopoly and got fish and chips in nearby Clee Hill which were excellent. We didn’t use the hot tub (bring sandals if you do though as the path is made of small stones) All in all, a really relaxing stay which we both LOVED but if you’re scared of the dark and being very remote, it’s maybe not for you!

    Yvonne2019-04-25T00:00:00Z
  • A fabulous place, in the middle of the woods, with great views. If the weather is good you have a lovely balcony to sit on, have a drink and admire the scenery, if the weather isn't so good ( it decided to snow the day after i got there, in April!) then you have a great big window to look out of. Light the fire early though, if your there when its chilly, and put the electric blanket on at night. I loved waking up to hear all the birds, you are right in the middle of nature, and there are some lovely walks in the woods right on your doorstep. Penny gets back to you right away if you have any questions, its a lot easier to find than i thought but you are no where near a main road, which is fab. Hope to stay again next year.

    Jayne2019-04-03T00:00:00Z
  • 5* amenities, every home comfort has been taken into account. Glamping at it's finest!

    Galia2019-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • The dome is such a cool place to stay, very clean and with great amenities. We stayed for two nights between Xmas and New Year and weren’t cold at all. We had the fire roaring throughout and the heated blanket on the bed was great too. The hot tub is a really nice touch, and I can only imagine how nice it would be to use the bbq and rattan furniture during the summer months. We felt very relaxed during our time in the dome. Fern recommended that we spent a day in Ludlow which was really nice, and visited Titterstone Clee Hill on the way back. Such beautiful views just 5 mins from the dome. We also had dinner one night at the Hopton Crown pub, which was also nice and only 10 mins away. Overall, a brilliant stay. Thanks.

    Elizabeth And Lee2018-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely dome with beautiful views. The decor in the dome is really nice and everything you need is there! The fire was nice and relaxing and the hot tub was a nice touch. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. It was rather cold at times so would suggest going in the warmer months if that would be an issue for you. Our dog was welcomed and she loved it there!

Comfortable sitting room and separate reception room with digital piano. Easy walking distance to the station, Ludlow Castle and town centre. We hope to return later this year!

  • The Roundhouse is 10 minute walk from the beautiful town of Ludlow. It is close to a convenience store and cafe and the walk into the town centre offers a great view of the castle. It's in a very quiet location. The communication from Helena was brilliant, she met us at the property on the first night to handover the keys and give us a quick tour. She was lovely and friendly and offered some tips about the local area and what to see. The house has everything you need. It is very spacious and comfortable throughout with space to sit and read or have a meal you've prepared in the lovely kitchen. Both the bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. It was immaculately clean. We took the opportunity to walk into town and visit the market, have a look around the castle and have a stroll along the river. Overall, a wonderful place to base ourselves for a great weekend. Thanks to Helena for letting us stay in her fantastic place.

  • Martin was a spectacular host we had messaged him during Storm Dennis as we was not able to make it home due to the flooding within 10 minutes Martin had welcomed us in into the most lovely converted garden house. Everything was spotless clean with great amenities inside a fresh loaf of bread was a great finishing touch. Would gladly stay here again if ever passing. Highly recommend

  • Temeside Garden House provided the perfect base for our 5 night stay in Ludlow. It is a pleasant 10 minute stroll into town and ideally situated for walking and cycling. Communication with Martin by email was very efficient from the outset and he was an excellent host, unobtrusive yet attentive, making sure that we had everything we needed and keeping us supplied with fresh breakfast ingredients. The accommodation is stylish and spotlessly clean with all the facilities that we required. We would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful property to anyone wanting to savour the many delights that Ludlow has to offer and look forward to visiting again in the future.

  • Highly recommended stay in a stylish, comfortable space. Fast communication and great hospitality.

    Richard2019-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • The Garden House is a treat to stay in. Everything is sparkling clean, the decor very stylish and the whole cottage is extremely well equipped. Communications were excellent - Martin responds so quickly to emails that at one point we were having a conversation! Ludlow is a gem of a place for anyone interested in the tales of medieval daring-do, and the church boasts a wondering stained glass window depciting (among others) Edward IV, Edward V and Prince Arthur - who died tragically in Ludlow Castle aged only 15. The church of St. Laurence is itself a medieval gem, built on older foundations. We were lucky to visit at the time of the Ludlow Festival - a food, music and classic car extravaganza. The weather was perfect too, which made our stay even more enjoyable. There's everything you need to be perfectly happy at the garden house, including lovely tables and chairs in Martin's delightful garden. We shall certainly be back!!!

  • We stayed in the Garden House for 1 night and would certainly return if we are back in Ludlow. The accommodation was very well equipped, with great attention to detail; super warm and clean, plus in an ideal location close to Ludlow. There was a fabulous range of breakfast ingredients provided, with tea and coffee which was also perfect. Martin and Ruby are great hosts and you are sure to have a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Our little terraced cottage is cute and welcoming. Ideal for two or three adults or a family with one or two children (or for four adults, at a pinch). The cosy sitting room has a sofa to sink into (in front of the log-burner in winter) and the pretty and peaceful garden faces South West: perfect for warm afternoons. Just a ten minute walk or easy bus journey to the market square, you have found an ideal base for your visit to Ludlow.
The sitting room and the main bedroom look out onto the Church of St Peter. The kitchen leads on to the bathroom which has a shower over the bath. The stairs are typical of a small terraced cottage, leading up from the sitting room and with a small landing at the top. The front bedroom has a double brass bed and the back bedroom has a single bed with a truckle bed under it.
There is a corner shop for all your basic needs just down the road, open from 6am-11.00pm. Walk one way and you are in the centre of Ludlow within minutes: walk the other way and you are out into the countryside.
  • The cottage felt like home from home. We enjoyed being able to walk the short distance into Ludlow. Petra is very quick to respond to questions and provided lots of lovely personal touches.

  • A first rate accommodation experience - a homely cosy place a short walk from Ludlow centre. The host was super and very helpful.

  • Friendly accommodation 10 minutes' walk from Ludlow! Pietra is very attentive to everyone's needs and ready to adapt if necessary to your constraints. There were storms, rains and gusts of wind in early February 2020: the charm of the house operated: readings by the stove in the living room, cooking with friends ... and forays to discover this charming region. Not to be missed for beer lovers (or not): a visit to the brewery near the station! Emmanuel.

  • This cottage is very relaxing, cosy & homely. The log burner was gorgeous to put on in the evening. Petra is a great host, very quick to respond to messages & allowed us to check in at 12.30pm. It’s a really spacious house so excellent value for money. The bed was super comfortable. Nice sized bathroom. Kitchen had everything we needed - the host even left us Oat Milk upon request! Easy 7min walk into Ludlow centre. I would highly recommend this property. Thanks for a beautiful stay Petra; you & your cottage was perfect!!

  • A well equipped and welcoming cottage located a short walk to the town centre and with a convenient corner shop less than one minute away - perfect for buying the pint of milk that you should have remembered to buy the night before for your morning cup of tea! Self service check in is easy and communications with Petra is quick to respond to communications.

  • Lovely, cosy cottage with everything you need. Comfortable beds with luxurious linen and fluffy towels. Log burner was amazing too, thank you to Kelvin and Jessica for leaving supplies to light a fire. Not a lot of space in the second bedroom but our 8 and 10 year old were fine in there. Straightforward walk to the town centre too, took us about 10 minutes with two dawdling children. Can highly recommend Wildwood on Broad St, and also Cicchette for lovely meals out. We Had a great cream tea in the Feathers Tea room. Ludlow castle was a great way to spend few hours, only £18 for Family ticket. The are lots of towers that you can climb for some lovely views and Ludlow and surrounding area.

  • Great place to stay exectly what it claims to be is exactly what it is:-) car is essential though as nothing is within walking distance of the property but thats to be expected to get somewhere so private:-) hosts were great unlimited logs for the burners provided hot tub checked by them and constantly hot and it is hot not warm struggled to get in some evenings but was great once in:-) you will not be disappointed if you book this place:-)

    Marc2019-06-28T00:00:00Z
  • If you’re not sure whether this is the place for you.... it is. Marie’s stunning cabin was exactly what we wanted and more. My girlfriend and I went up for 5 days with our 4 month old puppy and we had a brilliant time. The view is spectacular and you can really relax and forget about the world sitting in the hot tub with a few drinks! The kitchen is stocked with everything you need, which is great if you don’t have the money to eat out every day. There’s some local shops in Cleehill and there’s a couple of superstores close by. We were thrilled to find monopoly, some cards and a selection of books in one of the drawers, which was a nice touch. We were provided with plenty of logs for the burners which made the cabin and the outside seating nice and toasty. If you want to get out and about its only a short drive to the lovely town of Ludlow which is full of shops, pubs, cafes and a market which runs most days of the week. We had a lovely Thai meal there and an amazing curry over in Cleobury which isn’t far either. There’s Titterstone summit which is just a short walk up from the cabin through the farmland which provides you with an amazing view for miles around. • Absolute tranquil luxurious space . Fabulous to unwind and relax. Lodge is fantastic - hot tub amazing . Great hosts .

  • What a find! Honestly, the photos do not do this gorgeous little lodge justice. Nothing can prepare you for the absolutely stunning view from it. It really is breathtaking. It was absolutely spotless, the beds were super comfy and the living area so cute. Outside just makes this even more perfect. We loved the hot tub, the outdoor seating/lounging area was beautiful too. Marie herself was so so lovely and helpful, she lives just across the field so anything you need she will be there! This was the best lodge we have ever been to, with the best view also. I can't explain how much we didn't want to leave. We will be back!

  • Lovely room in a good area, awesome views. Will definitely be staying here again if we come through again

    Mark2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Comfy bed, large room and friendly host. Having a private parking space, more than compensated for being a little further out of the centre - which was a 10 minute walk away.

  • Room was exactly what we were looking for and we had a very comfortable stay. Great to have off street parking within walking distance from the centre of Ludlow.

Located in the heart of the beautiful and historic town of Ludlow you will find Corve View, a stunning Grade II listed home. Built on the site of a former Church and having once been just a humble stable, Corve View has a rich and interesting history all of its own. Ideally situated to take advantage of all that Ludlow has to offer, a short walk in any direction will take you to a place of interest, while the train station is located just ¼ mile away.
The property is light, airy and spacious and comfortably sleeps 6 people. The main room bedroom has a luxurious super king, the second bedroom a lovely double and the third is a delightful twin room. Downstairs is a spacious lounge with a smart television and wifi. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need, including a range cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There is also an extendable dining table which seats six. As you may know, parking is somewhat of a commodity in Ludlow, with it's medieval streets being far better suited to horse and cart than horsepower of a different kind, so you will be pleased to hear that there is plenty of space to park at Corve View. Double gates open to the gravelled west facing walled garden. This suntrap of a garden is a gorgeous spot during the summer
The quintessential British town of Ludlow is a throwback to the days gone by. You can’t help but fall in love with the friendly welcoming townsfolk and the laid back lifestyle which feels a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. That’s not to say that Ludlow is a quiet little backwater, far from it. Hosting the famous Ludlow Food and Drink Festival, Ludlow Spring Festival, May Fair, Ludlow Fringe, Green Fair and the Medieval Christmas Fayre there are events to keep you entertained all year round. There are also countless antique and local produce markets and book, craft and garden fairs. For sport lovers days out at Ludlow Racecourse, Golf Course, Rugby, Cricket, Tennis, Bowling or Football Clubs could await. Then there’s the spectacular architecture and countryside that you’ll never grow tired of admiring.
  • Great host and great place!! 5 star 🌟

  • Really nice cottage , great location and having parking in Ludlow is fantastic . Once we had parked the car it didn’t move for our whole stay which we really enjoyed . Normally my rule for booking is to only book places which have reviews already - this cottage is new on Airbnb so didn’t have reviews yet . But I was confident from pictures that would be good place to stay - it was!! Cottage is very well equipped and comfortable. Would be a great place for families with children ( though the stairs are steep) as there is a big fully enclosed ‘garden’/ parking area for kids to safely play outside . We really appreciated being able to walk everywhere from the cottage . And Ludlow has lots of lovely cafes, pubs etc . So - highly recommended !

Glebe Barn is a quaint detached 2 bedroom single story barn conversion sitting alongside Glebe Farm, set in 30 acres of our own pasture & woodland that visitors are welcome to explore. On the edge of the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, you’ll discover a special & varied landscape, stunning views, an abundance of wildlife & a wide range of activities. If you want to step out there’s a network of footpaths direct from the door & even a small pub that used to be the local jail
A quaint detached barn conversion in a quiet secluded part of rural Shropshire. Glebe Barn is a peaceful rural retreat and has all you need for a home from home experience, including an oven/hob, micro-wave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and even a washer & dryer. Of course, there's also wifi. The living space is cosy with a new central heating system installed at the end of 2017 and features a log burner to snuggle up in front of, for which logs are provided free of charge. For those with children, there is a fire guard for safety. The bathroom has a bath with a shower and thanks to the state-of-the-art environmental heating system, there's always plenty of hot water. In summer 2018 we installed new windows and in the main living space French doors that lead out to a newly created terrace area. Great for outdoor dining or enjoying a glass of something chilled while watching the sun set over the Shropshire hills. New durable flooring was fitted in 2019 and in 2020 a new kitchen was installed. Glebe Barn has been run as a successful holiday let for some years and is ideal for a romantic break, a family holiday exploring the abundance of local attractions and pretty historic market towns, or the perfect place to base yourself for a walking or cycling holiday. There's a dedicated fenced front and rear garden areas, ideal if you need to contain children or dogs. At the rear forming part of the back garden is a raised terrace area accessed via French doors with patio furniture and a BBQ. If you bring bikes, they can be securely locked in one of the outbuildings. We travel & self cater a lot and find it's inconvenient to have to take items like washing up liquid, dish washer tablets, tea towels, dish cloths, pan scourers, salt, pepper, vinegar, cooking oil etc, so we provide those. We also supply you with enough tea, coffee, sugar & luxury fair trade organic toiletries to keep you going for the first few days too. Although we are in a rural area, Tesco & Asda will do home delivery and a number of the food take-aways in Cleobury Mortimer will deliver. Although Glebe Barn only sleeps 4 plus an infant, we can offer additional accommodation in the main farmhouse if you'd like family or friends to join you for a few days. 'The Bit On The Side (of our house) can accommodate 2 people, having double or twin beds, one bathroom and a living area along with a small garden. There isn't a full range of cooking facilities, just a micro-wave a toaster, a kettle and a fridge. Think of it as more a hotel suite rather than self catering. It is separated from our house by inter-connecting doors and it has it's own front door. The Bit On The Side is also on Airbnb, contact me for more info and nightly rates.
The sleepy hamlet of Farlow lies at the end of the Shropshire hills. Close by and tucked between The Clee Hills and the near-by Wyre Forest is the charming town of Cleobury Mortimer (approx 3 miles away), with Georgian and Tudor architecture, many individual shops, tea rooms and traditional pubs, and the renowned Church with a crooked spire. The medieval town Ludlow is about 8 miles away in the border Marches, with the cliff top town centre above the river and overlooked by the castle. The town is famous for stunning architecture, the bustling market, food heritage and the numerous events hosted there throughout the year. The village of Ironbridge in a gorge on the River Severn (well under an hour away) is at the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrating the birth of the industrial revolution. The heart of the site is the world-famous bridge (the first major bridge in the world to be made of cast iron) and no less than ten museums celebrating the heritage of the area. The picturesque tourist towns of Stourport and Bewdley, well known for their attractive riversides, bridges and festivals are nearby, as is Bridgnorth, two towns in one connected by the steepest inland funicular railway in Britain. A little further afield you’ll find Shrewsbury, Hereford and Worcester, and we’re not far from the Welsh Borders and the spectacular Elan Valley and its seven massive dams. Birmingham is an hour or so away and for anyone who’s not been there for some time, it’s undergone a huge programme of transformation with the redevelopment of the Bullring Shopping Centre and regeneration of old industrial areas. Kidderminster is closer, with the standard mix of high street shops, retail parks and supermarkets. Just before Kidderminster is the West Midlands Safari & Leisure Park. We are ideally positions for hiking, cycling and pony trekking, with Country Treks Equestrian Centre just 3 miles away. We are also well placed for pubs that welcome dogs. Tesco & Asda Supermarkets also offer a delivery service to our postcode.
  • A great place to stay, in the countryside, very peaceful. Local pub very friendly, fun to walk there and back through the fields. Loads of great places to visit within a short drive. Some great touches in the barn, most things you'll need, and more, are covered.

  • We had a great relaxing weekend away with our puppy - walks, countryside, fresh air and lovely local and dog friendly pubs. The cottage was more than perfect for us and had everything, and more, you could ask for from a self-catering accommodation. Jan is lovely and so accommodating and couldn’t do more for you- all her instructions and tips were so useful and all the little personal touches made the place and stay so homely and relaxing. Our 9 month old puppy, Ruby, loved it and it was great to be able to let her off knowing that all was safe and secured and she had freedom to explore!

  • We were able to get away from everything and relax in such a peaceful location - there can't be many places still as quiet as this in the UK! The view from the balcony door was idyllic and perfect with the fairy lights whilst sitting in front of the log burner at night. Loved the local cider and the fluffy bath robes, the fresh eggs from the farm were absolutely delicious, and wonderful to have such comfy beds, sofas and such good washer, dryer and lovely rain shower. We could let our dog out in the enclosed garden and she loved the treats drawer! It's clear Jan knows what self caterers need - I have never stayed anywhere where literally everything was provided. Jan was really friendly, provided a thorough tour of the place on arrival and gave us tips on things to do. We were able to exercise our dog across their fields and woodland with wonderful views across to Titterstone Clee. We enjoyed a lovely walk around the fort and village of Clee St Margaret, and Jan's tips for free parking in Ludlow with the most perfect castle view were spot on. Glebe Barn is top of our list to return to when we next need a recharge.
